The influence of adenosine on hemodynamic changes induced by electrostimulation of reflexogenic zone of aorta was studied in this article. It was shown that 3-hour electrostimulation increased the total peripheral resistance and decreased cardiac output and aortic pressure. Intravenous infusion of adenosine during electrostimulation led to the normalization of main indices of hemodynamics. 相似文献

We have determined the type of stop codon specificity of Blepharisma japonicum translation termination factor eRF1 in an in vitro reconstituted eukaryotic translation system and in in vivo assay (the dual reporter system). We have shown that B. japonicum eRF1 retained specificity towards all three stop codons although efficiency of peptydyl-tRNA hydrolysis in the presence of UGA is reduced in an in vitro assay. Abstract-the formation of transport barriers under electron cyclotron resonance heating and current drive in the t-10 tokamak is studied. in regimes with off-axis co-eccd and q L <4 at the limiter, a spontaneous transition to improved confinement accompanied by the formation of two electron transport barriers is observed. the improvement resembles an L-H transition. It manifests itself as density growth, a decrease in the Dα emission intensity, and an increase in the central electron and ion temperatures. Two deep wells on the potential profile (the first one at r/a L ≈0.6, where a L is the limiter radius, and the second one near the edge) arise during the transition. the internal barrier is formed when dq/dr~0 with q≈1 in the barrier region. 相似文献

Osteosarcoma is a devastating tumor of bone, primarily affecting adolescents. Osteosarcoma tumors are notoriously radioresistant. Radioresistant cancers, including osteosarcoma, typically exhibit a considerable potential for relapse and development of metastases following treatment. Relapse and metastatic potential can, in part, be due to a specific radioresistant subpopulation of cells with stem-like characteristics, cancer stem cells, which maintain the capacity to regenerate entire tumors. In the current study, we have investigated whether in vitro treatments with parthenolide, a naturally occurring small molecule that interferes with NF-κB signaling and has various other effects, will re-sensitize cancer stem cells and the entire cell population to radiotherapy in osteosarcoma. Our results indicate that parthenolide and ionizing radiation synergistically induce cell death in LM7 osteosarcoma cells. Importantly, the combination treatment results in a significant reduction in the viability of both the overall population of osteosarcoma cells and the cancer stem cell subpopulation. This effect is dependent on the ability of parthenolide to induce oxidative stress. Therefore, as a supplement to current multimodal therapy, parthenolide may sensitize osteosarcoma tumors to radiation and greatly reduce the prevalence of relapse and metastatic progression. 相似文献
