The hemocompatibility and biocompatibility of a stent are determined by the physical and electrochemical properties of the stent surface. The aim of this study was to determine the feasibility, safety and efficacy of implantation of a stent coated with silicon carbide. Baseline characteristics were collected prospectively. The occurrence of cardiac adverse events and the angina score were assessed at clinical follow-up. A total of 193 Tensum stents were implanted in 174 patients. In hospital, one patient experienced stent thrombosis and in 6% of the patients a creatinine kinase elevation to 240 U/l or more occurred. Long-term follow-up was performed in 172 patients, with a mean follow-up of 454 +/- 181 days. Ninety-seven per cent were still alive, 15% had undergone target-vessel revascularization, and 2% had angiographic restenosis and were treated with medication only. Seventy-one per cent of the patients were free of anginal complaints, and 20% had anginal complaints in Canadian Cardiac Society class I or II. The Tensum coronary stent showed to be a safe and efficacious device in this study, with a high primary success rate and favorable long-term clinical followup.  相似文献

Actively multiplicating cells of C1. perfringens proved to be more sensitive to 7-chlor-7-desoxylincomycin and rifampicin than the cells in the phase of the population dying. The bactericidal effect of the antibiotics on Clostridia vegetating at a temperature range within 37--4degrees was studied. Determination of the content of higher fatty acids in the cultivation medium with the method of gas chromatography showed that the metabolic processes in the bacterial cells went on at a temperature of 4degrees. Sensitivity of Clostridia to antibiotics at 20 and 4degrees lowered. However, all antibiotics inhibited the cell viability under such conditions. The inhibitors of the intracellular protein synthesis, i. e. rifampicin, 7-chlor-7-desoxylincomycin and morphocycline proved to be most active. The effect of beta-lactame antibiotics, i. e. cephaloridine and benzylpenicillin was reliable though lower.  相似文献

Clones of a marine haptophyte microalga Tisochrysis lutea (Bendif et Probert, 2013) from Atlantic and tropical Pacific waters are model objects for basic and applied research and are widely used in aquaculture, as well as the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food industries. Proper organization of microtubule arrays is essential for intracellular trafficking and cell motility. It is generally assumed that most if not all microtubules in vertebrate somatic cells are formed by the centrosome. Here we demonstrate that a large number of microtubules in untreated human cells originate from the Golgi apparatus in a centrosome-independent manner. Both centrosomal and Golgi-emanating microtubules need gamma-tubulin for nucleation. Additionally, formation of microtubules at the Golgi requires CLASPs, microtubule-binding proteins that selectively coat noncentrosomal microtubule seeds. We show that CLASPs are recruited to the trans-Golgi network (TGN) at the Golgi periphery by the TGN protein GCC185. In sharp contrast to radial centrosomal arrays, microtubules nucleated at the peripheral Golgi compartment are preferentially oriented toward the leading edge in motile cells. We propose that Golgi-emanating microtubules contribute to the asymmetric microtubule networks in polarized cells and support diverse processes including post-Golgi transport to the cell front.  相似文献

The data on the effect of the products of vital activity of Candida tropicalis, a yeast-like fungus, on the biosynthesis of levorin, levoristatin and fatty acids by Streptomyces levoris are presented. It was shown that the effect of the biostimulators was not specific with respect to production of levorin, since in the presence of the products of vital activity of C. tropicalis an increase in the synthesis of levoristatin and fatty acids was also observed. The qualitative and quantitative composition of the fatty acids of the mycelium of S. levoris was studied. Interrelation between the biosynthesis of levorin and synthesis of unsaturated fatty acids and branched chain fatty acids was noted.  相似文献

Three actinomycetous strains designated as LIA-0773, LIA-0783 and LIA-0780 were isolated from various soil samples. The cultures actively inhibited the growth of Trichophyton gipseum and produced a non-polyenic antibiotic of the chondamycin type. The strains were identified with Act. griseochromogenes Fukunaga et. al., 1955. The cultures differed within the species by some morphological, cultural, physiological and antibiotic properties, as well as by the component composition of the antibiotic produced. Thus, strain LIA-0773 had larger spiral sporophores, satisfactorily hydrolized starch and inverted sucrose. The strain inhibited the growth of not only the fungi but also grampositive bacteria and mycobacteria and produced an antibiotic composed of 6 components. Strain LIA-0780 had small sporophores with close spirals and low amilolytic activity. It inhibited only the growth of the fungi and produced a monocomponent antibiotic. Strain LIA-0783 was intermediate. By its biological properties it was closer to strain LIA-0780. The antibiotic produced by it consisted of 6 components, while by its physico-chemical properties the antibiotic was close to that produced by strain LIA-0780. All the 3 actinomycetous cultures were considered as different variants of Act. griseochromogenes Fukunaga et al., 1955.  相似文献

In the sturgeon fry nucleus preopticus (Npo), light and weakly differentiated neurosecretory cells (NSC) as well as differentiated (i-cells) were revealed. Among these types of cells, there were the transitional forms. No "picnomorphic" cells were found in any Npo zone. NSC contained different amounts of elementary secretory granules 110-270 nm in diameter. The distribution of organelles was evaluated statistically, their number increasing from i-cells to the NSC. These data suggest that growth and differentiation of the NSC take place during this stage of ontogeny. The results are discussed in terms of specific functioning and maturity of the NSC.  相似文献
