Phylogenetic analysis of rbc L and atp B gene sequences from Biebersteinia Stephan (represented by B. orphanidis Boiss.) and from selected taxa of the rosids I and II clades does not support traditional grouping of this genus in Geraniaceae s. s. nor in Geraniales, but indicates strong support for a position nested within Sapindales (as recently delimitated). The rbc L and atp B phylogenies obtained were congruent but differently resolved and do not link Biebersteinia to any other clade within Sapindales. Biebersteinia is on a long branch on its own which, given the particular combination of apomorphic morphological characters, justifies familial status.  相似文献

球形棕囊藻(Phaeocystis globosa)是近年来北部湾常见的有害藻华原因种,涠洲岛海域作为广西沿海藻华的高发区之一,目前仍缺乏关于该海域球形棕囊藻藻华过程的相关研究。为探究涠洲岛海域球形棕囊藻藻华过程中营养盐的状况及藻华的发生对浮游植物群落组成的影响,对2017年3月下旬涠洲岛周边发生的球形棕囊藻藻华区域进行取样调查。结果表明,藻华期间水体中溶解有机磷含量与细胞及囊体密度呈显著正相关。本次藻华主要受水体中溶解态无机氮含量影响,多个调查站点的无机氮/无机磷(DIN/DIP)<10,且硅酸盐/无机氮(SiO32–/DIN)>1,表明这些站点存在氮限制现象,而氮限制可能是本次藻华消亡的主要因素。调查区域共鉴定出浮游植物4门58种,球形棕囊藻细胞密度最高可达1.04×108 cells/L,占浮游植物总细胞密度的98.28%。球形棕囊藻细胞密度与物种多样性指数存在显著的负相关关系。在营养缺乏条件下,有利于球形棕囊藻成囊的链状硅藻种类具有相对较大的细胞密度。  相似文献

ABSTRACT: BACKGROUND: A dramatic decline in the incidence of malaria due to Plasmodium falciparum infection in coastal East Africa has recently been reported to be paralleled (or even preceded) by an equally dramatic decline in malaria vector density, despite absence of organized vector control. As part of investigations into possible causes for the change in vector population density, the present study analysed the Anopheles gambiae s.l. sibling species composition in north-eastern Tanzania. METHODS: The study was in two parts. The first compared current species complex composition in freshly caught An. gambiae s.l. complex from three villages to the composition reported from previous studies carried out 2-4 decades ago in the same villages. The second took advantage of a sample of archived dried An. gambiae s.l. complex specimens collected regularly from a fourth study village since 2005. Both fresh and archived dried specimens were identified to sibling species of the An. gambiae s.l. complex by PCR. The same specimens were moreover examined for Plasmodium falciparum and Wuchereria bancrofti infection by PCR. RESULTS: As in earlier studies, An. gambiae s.s., Anopheles merus and Anopheles arabiensis were identified as sibling species found in the area. However, both study parts indicated a marked change in sibling species composition over time. From being by far the most abundant in the past An. gambiae s.s. was now the most rare, whereas An. arabiensis had changed from being the most rare to the most common. P. falciparum infection was rarely detected in the examined specimens (and only in An. arabiensis) whereas W. bancrofti infection was prevalent and detected in all three sibling species. CONCLUSION: The study indicates that a major shift in An. gambiae s.l. sibling species composition has taken place in the study area in recent years. Combined with the earlier reported decline in overall malaria vector density, the study suggests that this decline has been most marked for An. gambiae s.s., and least for An. arabiensis, leading to current predominance of the latter. Due to differences in biology and vectorial capacity of the An. gambiae s.l. complex the change in sibling species composition will have important implications for the epidemiology and control of malaria and lymphatic filariasis in the study area.  相似文献

During vertebrate development, signaling by the TGFbeta ligand Nodal is critical for mesoderm formation, correct positioning of the anterior-posterior axis, normal anterior and midline patterning, and left-right asymmetric development of the heart and viscera. Stimulation of Alk4/EGF-CFC receptor complexes by Nodal activates Smad2/3, leading to left-sided expression of target genes that promote asymmetric placement of certain internal organs. We identified Ttrap as a novel Alk4- and Smad3-interacting protein that controls gastrulation movements and left-right axis determination in zebrafish. Morpholino-mediated Ttrap knockdown increases Smad3 activity, leading to ectopic expression of snail1a and apparent repression of e-cadherin, thereby perturbing cell movements during convergent extension, epiboly and node formation. Thus, although the role of Smad proteins in mediating Nodal signaling is well-documented, the functional characterization of Ttrap provides insight into a novel Smad partner that plays an essential role in the fine-tuning of this signal transduction cascade.  相似文献

目的:探讨血清神经生长因子(Nerve Growth Factor,NGF)、脑源性神经营养因子(Brain Derived Neural Nutrition Factor, BDNF)、胶质纤维酸性蛋白(Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein,GFAP)水平与老年血管性痴呆严重程度的相关性。方法:选择我院2016年1月至2018年12月收治的81例老年血管性痴呆患者,根据简易精神状态检查表(MMES)评分将其分为三组,以MMSE评分21~26分者为轻度组(26例),10~20分者为中度组(28例),0~9分者为重度组(27例),同时选择来院体检的50例健康者作为对照组,检测和比较各组的血清NGF、BDNF、GFAP水平,分析血清NGF、BDNF、GFAP水平与老年血管性痴呆患者MMSE分值的相关性。结果:老年血管性痴呆者的血清NGF、GFAP水平明显高于对照组(P0.05),血清BDNF水平明显低于对照组(P0.05)。轻度组、中度组、重度组的血清NGF、GFAP、BDNF水平对比差异均有统计学意义(P0.05):NGF水平:轻度组中度组重度组,BDNF水平:轻度组中度组重度组;GFAP水平:轻度组中度组重度组。血清NGF、BDNF水平与MMSE分值评分呈显著正相关(r_1=0.652,r_2=0.671,P0.05),血清GFAP水平与MMSE分值呈显著负相关(r3=-0.681,P0.05)。结论:血清NGF、BDNF、GFAP水平均与老年血管性痴呆的严重程度密切相关,可能用于评估老年血管性痴呆病情的严重程度。  相似文献

Flowers, microsporogenesis and microgametogenesis of Excentrodendron hsienmu in opening-functional flowers and non-opening flowers were studied to investigate the evolutionary relationships of Excentrodendron . E. hsienmu is a dioecious species that blossoms every 3–4 years, although large numbers of flower buds develop every year. The anther is tetrasporangiate, the tapetum is of the secretory type, the microspore tetrads are mainly tetrahedral, and the pollen grains are two-celled when shed. Four to six microsporocytes are seen on the transverse section of the anthers, and cytokinesis is simultaneous. The development of the anther wall conforms to the basic type and the anther wall is five or six cells thick, with a fibrous endothecium. The difference between the opening-functional and the non-opening flowers is mainly in the thickness of the anther wall. Early megasporogenesis in staminate flowers up to megaspore mother cell or megaspore tetrads has been observed. Excentrodendron shares with Dombeyeae only plesiomorphic features, but differs in anther wall development type and thickness. Most features of Excentrodendron are shared with Pterospermum , including such synapomorphic features as basic type of anther wall development, five- to six-cell-thick anther wall, biseriate tapetum at some places, and degeneration of microsporocytes, suggesting placement near Pterospermum .   © 2006 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society , 2006, 150 , 447–457.  相似文献

To understand the mechanism of mutual recognition between aminoacyl tRNA synthetases (EC 6.1.1) and tRNAs, it is important to obtain more information about the structure of these enzymes. X-ray crystallography offers one approach, but although several aminoacyl tRNA synthetases have been isolated in very pure form1 and crystallization of tryptophanyl2 and seryl3 tRNA synthetases has been reported, no crystals were available that were suitable for structural analysis. Only very recently have Rymo and Lagerkvist4 described the formation of crystals of yeast lysyl tRNA synthetase which are apparently suitable for further X-ray analysis. Here we deal with the phenomenon of polymerization of the tryptophanyl tRNA synthetase complex with tryptophan in the form of rod-like particles and the subsequent formation of para-crystalline aggregates.  相似文献
