A cDNA encoding the human Id4 protein has been isolated froman astrocytoma library. The predicted protein product shares98% identity with the mouse Id4 protein and is markedly differentfrom that already reported. By FISH analysis, the human ID4gene was more precisely mapped to chromosome 6p22.3-p23. Northernblot analysis showed that ID4 is mainly expressed in thyroid,brain and fetal tissue and in some nervous system tumor celllines.  相似文献

Fruit is a key component of a healthy diet. However, it is still not clear whether some classes of fruit may be more beneficial than others and whether all individuals whatever their age, gender, health status, genotype, or gut microbiota composition respond in the same way to fruit consumption. Such questions require further observational and intervention studies in which the intake of a specific fruit can be precisely assessed at the population and individual levels. Within the Food Biomarker Alliance Project (FoodBAll Project) under the Joint Programming Initiative “A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life”, an ambitious action was undertaken aiming at reviewing existent literature in a systematic way to identify validated and promising biomarkers of intake for all major food groups, including fruits. This paper belongs to a series of reviews following the same BFIRev protocol and is focusing on biomarkers of pome and stone fruit intake. Selected candidate biomarkers extracted from the literature search went through a validation process specifically developed for food intake biomarkers.  相似文献

Three populations of the epiphyllous liverwort Drepanolejeunea madagascariensis collected in the cloud forests of Reunion Island (Mascarene Archipelago) were investigated for their volatile compounds, because of the pleasant, sweet, warm, woody‐spicy, and herbaceous fragrance, slightly reminiscent of dill, of this species. By applying the headspace solid‐phase microextraction (HS‐SPME) technique coupled to GC/MS analysis, 34 compounds were detected in total, with p‐menth‐1‐en‐9‐ol (28.8–43.5%), limonene (10.5–14.7%), β‐phellandrene (8.8–11.6%), and the so‐called dill ether (8.5–16.6%) as the main components. The presence of 1‐epi‐α‐pinguisene confirms the possible use of pinguisane‐type sesquiterpenoids as a characteristic chemical marker for the order Jungermanniales.  相似文献

Abstract Sesbania rhizobium strain ORS571, which grows in the free-living state at the expense of N2 or ammonia, requires nicotinic acid as a growth factor and also uses this vitamin as a nitrogen source in culture medium devoid of ammonia. Consequently, under nitrogen-fixing conditions, Sesbania rhizobium requires about 10-times more nicotinic acid than when grown in the presence of ammonia.
