Six bacterial strains isolated from the underground roots of the terrestrial orchid Calanthe vestitavar. rubro-oculatawere found to belong to the genera Arthrobacter, Bacillus, Mycobacterium, and Pseudomonas.Strains isolated from the aerial roots of the epiphytic orchid Dendrobium moschatumwere classified into the genera Bacillus, Curtobacterium, Flavobacterium, Nocardia, Pseudomonas, Rhodococcus, and Xanthomonas.The rhizoplane of the terrestrial orchid was also populated by cyanobacteria of the genera Nostocand Oscillatoria, whereas that of the epiphytic orchid was populated by one genus, Nostoc.In orchids occupying different econiches, the spectra of the bacterial genera revealed differed. The microbial complex of the terrestrial orchid rhizoplane differed from that of the surrounding soil.  相似文献

The in vitro effect of sanazole (AK-2123; N-(2'-methoxyethyl)-2-[3"-nitro-1"-triazolyl]acetamide) and metronidazole (1-beta-hydroxyethyl-2-methyl-5-nitroimidazole) on phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate (PMA)-stimulated and spontaneous (without stimulation by PMA) production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by peritoneal and splenic murine macrophages was studied. ROS production was analyzed using fluorescent probe 2',7'-dichlorofluoresceine diacetate (DCFH-DA). An increase in the spontaneous production of ROS by macrophagal cells with therapeutic concentration of sanazole (0.6-1.25 mM) in the incubation medium was observed. At these concentrations metronidazole had no effect on spontaneous production of ROS by macrophagal cells. PMA-stimulated ROS production was inhibited by high concentrations (2.5-10 mM) of sanazole and metronidazole. The spontaneous generation of ROS by peritoneal macrophages was stimulated by sanazole at all tested concentrations (0.6-10 mM).  相似文献

Data from the literature on the ability of microorganisms to form plant hormones have been reviewed. The substances covered include abscisic acid, ethylene and other compounds with phytohormone-like properties (brassinosteroids, oligosaccharines) and analogues of animal neurotransmitters (biogenic amines). Pathways whereby the substances are metabolized and their effects on the development and activity (physiological and biochemical) of the microorganisms are considered. The role of phytohormones and hormone-like substances in the formation of association (microorganism-host) interactions are analyzed. The potential utilities of microorganisms producing hormones and hormone-like substances are discussed.  相似文献

The ability of pro-and eukaryotic microorganisms to synthesize growth-stimulating phytohormones is reviewed, with emphasis on the pathways of biosynthesis of these compounds and their effects on the physiological and biochemical properties of the producers. Phytohormones are viewed as specific mediators in interactions between various organisms inhabiting the same ecological niche, the biological role of which is not limited to processes taking place in plants. This study aimed to investigate the relationship of ten single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the MTHFR, MTR, MTRR, DHFR, MTHFD1, TS, RFC1 and DNMT3b genes with cancer survival, therapeutic response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy and clinicopathological characteristics in 300 pre- and postmenopausal breast cancer patients of a Russian Western Siberian population. We found that the MTHFR 677CT genotype as well as combination of MTHFR 677CT and 677TT genotype was related to tumor size and estrogen-positive status in postmenopausal group. The RFC1 80А allele was associated with an increased risk of lymph node metastases among postmenopausal women. The MTHFR 677TT genotype was significantly correlated with a better progression-free survival in premenopausal patients. In contrast, a worse outcome was observed in this group patient with MTHFD1 1958AA genotype. In the multivariate analysis, the MTHFD1 1958AA genotype was identified as an independent prognostic factor for premenopausal breast cancer survival. Our findings provide evidence for associations of breast cancer survival with folate-related SNPs in a population of Western Siberian region of Russia and the MTHFD1 (1958G>A) may have additional prognostic value especially among premenopausal patients.  相似文献

The adjuvant properties of subalin, a recombinant probiotic prepared from live bacteria Bacillus subtilis producing human alpha 2-interferon were studied in the scheme of its use with vaccines against parvovirus enteritis and distemper. Subalin was shown to be capable of preventing immunosuppression caused by the injection of vaccines, accelerating the formation of the antigen-specific clone of memory cells and enhancing antigen-specific immune response. The mechanisms of the adjuvant effect of subalin were considered; this effect was shown to be due to the action of interferon excreted by bacteria of B. subtilis into the lumen of the intestine. The advantages of this method of interferon supply and the prospects of using subalin preparation as adjuvant are discussed.  相似文献
