A mutant, which derived from the restorer line Jinhui10 treated with EMS, showed completely yellow green leaves, and it had low chlorophyll content and poor agronomic characteristics during the growing stage. The F1 plants from the cross between normal × the mutant showed normal green leaves, and the segregation ratio of normal to yellow green leaves was 3 : 1 in F2 population. It indicated that the trait was controlled by a single recessive nuclear gene, temporarily designated asygl3. The geneygl3 was mapped between RM468 and RM3684 with genetic distances 8.4 cM and 1.8 cM on chromosome 3. This result would be used as genetic information for fine mapping and map-based cloning ofygl3 gene. 相似文献

Inorganic–organic hybrid nanoparticles formed by lanthanide-doped nanostructures and organic ligands have been intensively studied, which could greatly increase their photoluminescence performance as a result of the energy transfer process from organic ligands to Ln3+ ions. However, the photoluminescence intensity and excitation spectral width are still quite limited on coordinating with a single type of organic ligand. In this work, Eu3+-doped LaF3 (LaF3:Eu3+) nanoparticles were prepared using a hydrothermal method, and were then hybridized with benzoic acid and thenoyltrifluoroacetone to form the hybrid nanostructures. After that, the hybrid nanostructures were mixed with 2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile and methyl methacrylate to prepare the composites. The sample obtained by hybridization and composite doping with 5% Eu3+ exhibited the best photoluminescence performance. The excitation peak width and luminescence intensity of the hybrid nanostructures were significantly increased. The excitation spectral width of the inorganic–organic mixed hybrid nanostructures was particularly enhanced, and covered the whole ultraviolet band region of solar light on Earth. Daphnetin (DAP), a coumarin derivative, has been reported to have multiple pharmacological actions including analgesia, antimalarial, anti-arthritic, and anti-pyretic properties. It is unclear whether DAP has neuroprotective effects on ischemic brain injury. In this study, we found that DAP treatment (i.c.v.) reduced the infarct volume at 24 h after ischemia/reperfusion injury and improved neurological behaviors in a middle cerebral artery occlusion mouse model. Moreover, we provided evidences that DAP had protective effects on infarct volume in neonate rats even it was administrated at 4 h after cerebral hypoxia/ischemia injury. To explore its neuroprotective mechanisms of DAP, we examined the protection of DAP on glutamate toxicity-induced cell death in hippocampal HT-22 cells. Our results demonstrated that DAP protected against glutamate toxicity in HT-22 cells in a concentration-dependent manner. Further, we found that DAP maintained the cellular levels of glutathione and superoxide dismutase activity, suggesting the anti-oxidatant activity of DAP. Since DAP has been used for the treatment of coagulation disorder and rheumatoid arthritis for long time with a safety profile, DAP will be a promising agent for the treatment of stroke. 相似文献

Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici (Pst) secretes an array of specific effector proteins to manipulate host immunity and promote pathogen colonization. In a previous study, we functionally characterized a glycine-serine-rich effector PstGSRE1 with a glycine-serine-rich motif (m9). However, the mechanisms of glycine-serine-rich effectors (GSREs) remain obscure. Here we report a new glycine-serine-rich effector, PstGSRE4, which has no m9-like motif but inhibits the enzyme activity of wheat copper zinc superoxide dismutase TaCZSOD2, which acts as a positive regulator of wheat resistance to Pst. By inhibiting the enzyme activity of TaCZSOD2, PstGSRE4 reduces H2O2 accumulation and HR areas to facilitate Pst infection. These findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of GSREs of rust fungi in regulating plant immunity. 相似文献

We have demonstrated that the distribution of microtubules (MT), microfilaments (MF) and fibronectin (FN) were diminished, while the gene expression of the calmodulin and c-fos enhanced in the transformed C3 H10 T1/2 cells. After treatment with 1 mM db-cAMP for 1 hr. and 2 hrs., there was an early and rapidly reduced in gene expression of calmodulin and c-fos respectively. After db-cAMP treatment for 4-5 days, the number of Capping cells of ConA binding decreased significantly and the cell surface microvilli decreased also. The growth of treated cells was inhibited markedly. By using 4F1 cDNA probe, which is preferentially expressed in G1 phase, we have found that the db-cAMP treated cells were accumulated at G1 phase. Of particular interest is the fact that the distribution of microtubules, microfilaments and fibronectin were recovered after treatment with 1 mM db-cAMP for 6 days. It is suggested that the inhibition of proliferation, alteration of phenotype and recovery of cytoskeleton in transformed cells after treatment with db-cAMP are related to the inhibition of gene expression of calmodulin. 相似文献

Hydrophobins fulfill various physiological functions in fungal development and growth, based on their mechanism of self-assembly
at hydrophilic–hydrophobic interfaces into nano-scale, amphipathic membranes. One hydrophobin with an approximate molecular
weight of 15 kDa, designated Po.HYD1, was purified from aerial hyphae of Pleurotus ostreatus strain Pm039. Ultrastructures of self-assembled films formed by Po.HYD1 on hydrophobic and hydrophilic substrates were revealed
by atomic force microscopy (AFM). A monomolecular adsorption layer, thickness ranging from 3.2 to 3.8 nm, was observed on
the surface of highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG), while a typical rodlet layer with uniform thickness of 4.2 ± 0.1 nm
formed on the mica surface. Comparison of CD spectra showed significant secondary structural changes between monomeric and
self-assembled states. The spectrum of monomeric Po.HYD1 had a maximum ellipticity at 190 nm and a minimum at 209 nm, and
that of assemblage showed the maximum at 195 nm and the minimum shifted to 215–218 nm. Po.HYD1 showed high surface activity,
based on the dramatic drop of surface tension through self-assembly at the water–air interface. Moreover, Po.HYD1 is capable
