Resumen Se presentan 15 casos de aspergilosis recolectados en diferentes ciudades del país. Doce fueron casos autopsiados. Los tres restantes se refieren a pacientes en quienes se efectuó una lobectomía pulmonar superior derecha por aspergiloma gigante intracavitario. En los doce primeros existía una enfermedad básica que había alterado seriamente el estado general del paciente; once de ellos habían recibido antibióticos, cinco habían recibido esteroides, y dos, agentes citotóxicos. Se cree que, tanto el estado general del paciente, como la administración de dichas drogas, favorecieron la infección micótica. De los tres casos con aspergiloma intracavitario gigante, se cree que, en uno, la micosis se implantó en una caverna tuberculosa cicatrizada. En los otros dos, la cavidad era un bronquio localmente dilatado y se consideró que no existía una infección tuberculosa.ElAspergillus posee un amplio espectro de patogenicidad. Sections of 6 μ from tissues fixed in Susa or in Bouin's fluid (without acetic acid) and embedded in paraffin were attached to slides with Mayer's albumen, dried at 37 C for 12 hr, deparaffinized and hydrated. The sections fixed in Susa were transferred to a I2-K1 solution (1:2:300 ml of water); rinsed in water, decolorized in 5% Na2S2O3; washed in running water, and rinsed in distilled water. Those fixed in Bouin's were transferred to 80% alcohol until decolorized, then rinsed in distilled water. All sections were stained in 1% aqueous phloxine, 10 min; rinsed in distilled water and transferred to 3% aqueous phosphotungstic acid, 1 min; rinsed in distilled water; stained 0.5 min in 0.05 azure II (Merck), washed in water; and finally, nuclear staining in Weigert's hematoxylin for 1 min was followed by a rinse in distilled water, rapid dehydration through alcohols, clearing in xylene and covering in balsam or a synthetic resin. The ultrastructure of the mature spermatozoa and spermatogenesis of the bivalve Scrobicularia plana are described. Support cells extend from the basal lamina to the lumen of the testis and are laterally connected to the germinal epithelium. Germ cells present intercellular bridges and flagella since the spermatogonial stage. While spermatogonia and spermatocytes appear connected to support cells by desmosome-like junctions, elongated spermatids are held at the acrosomal region by support cell finger-like processes. During spermiogenesis, the acrosomal vesicle differentiates from a golgian saccule and then migrates to the nuclear apex. A microtubular manchette arising from centrioles surrounds the acrosomal vesicle, the nucleus, and the mitochondria at the time these three organelles start their elongation, disappearing after that. The mature spermatozoon of S. plana lacks a distinct midpiece because the mitochondria extend from the region of the pericentriolar complex along the nucleus anteriorly for approximately 1.4 μm. Summary Chromosomes of Brassica oleracea (2n=18) were dissected from the resynthesized amphidiploid B. napus Hakuran by repeated backcrosses to B. campestris (2n=20), creating a series of monosomic alien chromosome addition line plants (2n=21). Using morphological, isozyme and restriction fragment length polymorphism markers (RFLPs), 81 putative loci were identified. Of nine possible synteny groups, seven were represented in the 25 monosomic addition plants tested. Sequences homologous to 26% of the 61 DNA clones utilized (80% were cDNA clones) were found on more than one synteny group, indicating a high level of gene duplication. Anomalous synteny associations were detected in four 2n=21 plants. One of these plants showed two markers from one B. oleracea chromosome associated with a second complete B. oleracea synteny group, suggesting translocation or recombination between non-homologous chromosomes in Hakuran or the backcross derivatives. The other three 2n=21 plants each contained two or more B. oleracea synteny groups, suggesting chromosome substitution. 相似文献
