高粱对丝黑穗病的抗性及遗传研究   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
1981—1985年在人工接种的条件下,对1239份高粱品种资源,进行了抗丝黑穗病性鉴定。与此同时,用17个抗性不同的品种系,按照不完全双列杂交设计,进行了高粱对丝黑穗病的抗性遗传研究。结果表明,高粱对丝黑穗病的抗性遗传方式因品种而异。有的品种系具数量性状遗传特点,有的则具有质量性状遗传特点。抗病性属数量性状遗传的品种系,其抗性主要是受加性基因控制。  相似文献

虫草子囊壳壁为拟薄壁组织,基部与子座菌丝相联,顶端有一孔口,其内无缘丝,中心腔内无侧丝,基部着生的子囊垂直平行排列。子囊顶端中央是乳状突起,围以隆起的环状膜质边缘。成熟时,其顶端乳状突起膨大,膜质边缘也随之翻卷,中央有一小孔。同一子囊壳内子囊顶端发育阶段不同,说明子囊的形成不同步。子囊内含有两条平行的具横隔的子囊孢子。虫草子囊顶端形态结构即不象虫草属模式种蛹虫草,也不象头状虫草,说明子囊顶端的形态结构的种间差异。  相似文献

Seven virus-coded proteins, the nuclear proteins EBNA-1 to EBNA-6 and the latent membrane protein (LMP), are regularly expressed in Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-transformed lymphoblastoid cell lines. In nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), only EBNA-1 is regularly expressed; LMP is detected in about 65% of the tumors. In Burkitt's lymphoma tumors only EBNA-1 is expressed. We have recently shown that the methylation patterns of the EBV genome varied between these cell types. In virally transformed lymphoblastoid cell lines of normal origin, the EBV DNA is completely unmethylated. In contrast, in the Burkitt's lymphoma-derived cell line Rael and in a nude mouse-passaged NPC tumor, C15, there was an extensive methylation of CpG pairs. The methylation extended into the coding regions of the two expressed genes, EBNA-1 (in both tumor types) and LMP (in C15). Two presumptive control regions were exempted from this overall methylation: the oriP that contains both an origin of DNA replication and an EBNA-1-dependent enhancer and the 5'-flanking region of the BNLF-1 open reading frame that codes for LMP. The latter was only exempted in the LMP expressing NPC. We have now investigated the relation between expression of LMP and methylation of DNA in the 5'-flanking 1 kb region of BNLF-1, coding for LMP. LMP was methylated in 3 of 12 NPC biopsies that did not express LMP but was partially or totally unmethylated in the remaining 9 that expressed the protein. The three BNLF-1 exons were highly methylated in all the tumors. The oriP region was unmethylated in all the tumors, as in the previously studied Rael cell line and nude mouse-passaged NPC. Also, the BamHI W enhancer region involved in the expression of EBNA nuclear proteins was methylated. None of the biopsies expressed EBNA-2. Our data show that the EBV genomes are highly methylated in NPC tumors. The strong reverse correlation between the methylation of the putative control region of the LMP gene and the expression of LMP suggests that methylation has a role in the regulation of this gene.  相似文献

In order to estimate photosynthetic and respiratory rates in illuminated photoautotrophic cells of carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus L.), simultaneous measurements of CO2 and O2 gas exchange were performed using 18O2, 13CO2 and a mass-spectrometry technique. This method allowed the determination, and thus the comparison, of unidirectional fluxes of O2 and CO2. In optimum photosynthetic conditions (i.e. in the presence of high light and a saturating level of CO2), the rate of CO2 influx represented 75±5% of the rate of gross O2 evolution. After a dark-to-light transition, the rate of CO2 efflux was inhibited by 50% whereas the O2-uptake rate was little affected. The effect of a recycling of respiratory CO2 through photosynthesis on the exchange of CO2 gas was investigated using a mathematical model. The confliction of the experimental data with the simulated gas-exchange rates strongly supported the view that CO2 recycling was a minor event in these cells and could not be responsible for the observed inhibition of CO2 efflux. On the basis of this assumption it was concluded that illumination of carnation cells resulted in a decrease of substrate decarboxylations, and that CO2 efflux and O2 uptake were not as tightly coupled in the light as in the dark. Furthermore, it could be calculated from the rate of gross photosynthesis that the chloroplastic electron-transport chain produced enough ATP in the light to account for the measured CO2-uptake rate without involving cyclic transfer of electrons around PS I or mitochondrial supplementation.Abbreviations Chl chlorophyll - Kd permeability coefficient The authors thank Drs A. In synchronous cultures of S. cerevisiae undergoing meiosis, an early event in the meiotic recombination pathway, site-specific double strand breaks (DSBs), occurs early in prophase, in some instances well before tripartite synaptonemal complex (SC) begins to form. This observation, together with previous results, supports the view that events involving DSBs are required for SC formation. We discuss the possibility that the mitotic pathway for recombinational repair of DSBs served as the primordial mechanism for connecting homologous chromosomes during the evolution of meiosis. DSBs disappear during the period when tripartite SC structure is forming and elongating (zygotene); presumably, they are converted to another type of recombination intermediate. Neither DSBs nor mature recombinant molecules are present when SCs are full length (pachytene). Mature reciprocally recombinant molecules arise at the end of or just after pachytene. We suggest that the SC might coordinate recombinant maturation with other events of meiosis.  相似文献

Nuclease hypersensitivity in the beta-globin gene region of K562 cells   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
We have investigated chromatin structure in the beta-globin gene region of the K562 human erythroleukemic cell line by using S1 and DNase I nuclease sensitivity assays. Despite the lack of beta-globin gene expression in these cells, we find nuclease-hypersensitive sites to these enzymes in its 5' and 3' flanking regions in K562 chromatin. This result is in contrast to previous reports in which no hypersensitive sites were found in the immediate vicinity of this gene. In the 3' region, one major hypersensitive site at 0.9 kpb 3' and three minor hypersensitive sites at 0.7 kbp, 0.5 kbp 3' and 0.2 kbp 5' of the polyadenylation site were observed; these sites are very similar to those found in fetal liver and adult bone marrow cells in which the beta-globin gene is expressed. We find hypersensitive sites to both enzymes in the 5' region of the beta-globin gene: a major site 0.8 kbp 5' to the cap site, and two minor sites 1.2 and 1.5 kbp 5' to the cap site. The -0.8 kbp site is also present in plasmids containing the beta-globin gene. Our results suggest that the lack of beta-globin gene expression may be related to the lack of hypersensitivity sites in the immediate (150 bp) 5' flanking region of the beta-globin gene, as occurs in other active globin genes.  相似文献
