淡色库蚊对敌百虫的抗药性研究——抗性谱及联合作用

1973年采集于上海闸北区的淡色库蚊幼虫在室内以敌百虫选育抗性品系(RD品系)获得成功,F₁₂代的LC₅₀已为室内正常品系(SEN)的240多倍。RD品系的抗性谱表明,对有机磷杀虫剂均具有不同程度的交互抗性;对有机氯如DDT、丙体666和氨基甲酸酯类等杀虫剂无明显的交互抗性;对天然除虫菊和拟除虫菊酯类有低度的负交互抗性。并测定了29种药剂与敌百虫混用对RD品系和SEN品系的增效作用。还测定了对敌百虫有较高交互抗性的杀虫剂分别与TPP,TOCP、稻瘟净、异稻瘟净和增效醚混用后的增效作用。     

玉米螟人工饲养中应用昆虫保幼激素类似物的初步试验

Lewis等1973年报道以九种昆虫保幼激素类似物;Shigemi等1976年报道以一种昆虫保幼激素类似物和一种天然保幼激素对玉米螟(Ostrinia nubilalis Hub.)幼虫的活性测定。目的在于明确对幼虫生长发育和变态的抑制效应。1978年在玉米螟人工饲养中,我们用另外五种昆虫保幼激素类似物进行了试验:供试的五种昆虫保幼激素类似物对玉米螟幼虫均有活性。高浓度可以阻止正常变态和导致异常变态。低浓度的734-Ⅱ能使玉米螟的生长发育和繁殖力获得有益的调节。     

Seed Selection for Potential Viability

A simple method is presented for selecting individual seedsfor growth and vigour prior to germination. The selection isbased on the measurement of an electric current originatingduring the initial stage of seed imbibition. After selecting,seeds may be returned to the quiescent state without affectingviability. Results of both laboratory germination and fieldexperiments demonstrate that high germination rates, more extensivegrowth, higher yields, and fewer defective plants are associatedwith small currents. Seeds of low viability and high currentsmay be removed to upgrade the germination and vigour. Resultsare presented from several varieties of Phaseolus vulgaris andfrom three other plant species. Experiments are discussed whichindicate that seeds graded by current levels possess markedlydifferent respiration rates.     

Auxin Synthesis in Crown Gall Tumor Tissue: A Comparison of Three Putative Precursors

Axenic crown gall tumor callus (from Vinca rosea L.) which is known to synthesize its own auxin is able to convert exogenous ¹⁴C-indole or tryptamine to indoleacetic acid [5.4 and 10 × 10⁻⁶μmol × h⁻¹× (g fr wt)⁻¹ respectively], but little or no ³H-tryptophan is converted [less than 6.4 × 10⁻⁸×μmol × h⁻¹× (g fr wt)⁻¹].
