Even if the common lizardLacerta vivipara and endemicLacerta andreanskyi from Moroccan Grand Atlas have the same mother species, the two species are definitely not closely related in present-day nature, whereL. vivipara stands at variance from all other lacertids in terms of cytogenetics. The use of replication banding, C-bands and R-bands has allowed for the identification of all chromosome pairs and two sex chromosomes inL. andreanskyi. Its karyotype is typical of Lacertidae. The W chromosome, characterized by late replication, is nevertheless of a type previously unknown in the family. The comparison of Z and W chromosomes by different methods of chromosome banding indicates little homology between them, if any. The replication study has shown that there is no dosage compensation for the Z chromosome in (homogametic) males. That genetic inactivation precedes chromosomal mutations in non-vivipara lacertid evolution of the odd sex chromosome is suggested.  相似文献

ACTH-release by primary cultures of rat anterior pituitary cells in response to CRF, vasopressin, epinephrine, norepinephrine and VIP is readily suppressible by dexamethasone. Rat hypothalamic extract-induced ACTH release is less sensitive to the inhibitory effect of dexamethasone than that elicited by CRF and the other secretagogues mentioned above. In studying the additive and potentiating effect on ACTH release of CRF in combination with vasopressin, VIP and the catecholamines it became evident that only the combination of micromolar concentrations of epinephrine or norepinephrine together with nanomolar concentrations of CRF will make ACTH release significantly less sensitive to the suppressive effect of dexamethasone. Other combinations of CRF and vasopressin or CRF and VIP will render ACTH release as suppressible to dexamethasone, as that elicited by each of these compounds by itself. This observation in the rat might explain at least in part the observation that a diminished suppressibility of the pituitary-adrenal axis to dexamethasone can be found in patients with psychiatric disease, especially depression.  相似文献

The central efferent connections to the retina in Microcebus were identified using the retrograde axonal transport of fluorescent dyes. After unilateral intraocular injection of the tracer, two populations of labeled neurons were observed. Fluorescent neurons were located immediately posterior to the optic chiasma, in the anterior part of the arcuate nuclei. In addition, fluorescent neurons were observed in the suprachiasmatic nuclei; the latter pathway appears to close up an anatomical retino-hypothalamo-retinal loop between the suprachiasmatic nucleus and the retina.  相似文献

Systematic administration of the enkephalin analog FK 33-824 was previously shown to stimulate PRL secretion and to inhibit ACTH secretion in man. Naloxone prevented the effect on PRL release, but not on ACTH release. In this study, the direct action of this analog on hormone release by rat anterior pituitary lobes invitro were investigated. 1 uM FK 33-824 inhibited basal ACTH secretion by anterior pituitary glands in vitro, while 0.1 uM and 1 uM attenuated the lysine vasopressin stimulated ACTH release. Naloxone did not reverse the inhibitory action of the analog on ACTH release. β-Endorphin (0.01 - 1 uM) did not directly affect ACTH release. Basal and dopamine-induced inhibition of PRL release by anterior pituitary glands was neither influenced by FK 33-824 (0.1 and 1 uM), nor by β-endorphin (0.1 and 1 uM) with or without bacitracin. This study shows that the long-acting met-enkephalin analog FK 33-824 differentially affects PRL and ACTH secretion by the pituitary gland. It seems to stimulate PRL release at a suprapituitary site and this action probably involves u opiate receptors, because naloxone prevents these stimulatory effects. The inhibitory effect of FK 33-824 on ACTH release, however, is mediated via a direct effect at the pituitary level, which does not involve u receptors, as naloxone did not prevent this effect. In this respect, its action differs from that of β-endorphin, which does not directly affect ACTH release by the anterior pituitary gland.  相似文献

Nitrogen fixation (NF) by alfalfa and nitrogen transfer (NT) from alfalfa to associated timothy was studied under different environmental conditions in controlled growth chambers, using the15N dilution technique. Evidence was obtained of NT from alfalfa to the associated timothy. Conditions that favored NF by alfalfa resulted in an increase in its NT. Of 3 different temperature regimes (25/20, 16/14, and 12/9°C day/night), 16–25/14–20°C was the best range for NF by alfalfa and resulted in the greatest NT. High light intensity (550 uE.m−2.sec−1) and long days (16–20 h) also caused increased NF by alfalfa and benefitting timothy more than in a regime of low light intensity (by shading 50% or 75%) or short days (12/12 or 16/8 h day/night). When the inoculated (Rhizobium meliloti) root systems of plants were kept free from other microorganisms (axenic condition) to minimize possible decomposition of dead tissues, lower NT from alfalfa was observed, especially at later cuts, compared to non-axenic plants. This suggests that both direct excretion and decomposition of dead alfalfa tissues are sources of N benefit from alfalfa to associated timothy. 黄地老虎核型多角体病毒(Agrotis segetum Nulear Polyhedrosis Virus简称AsNPV)的国内分离株(AsNPVC),多角体呈六边形,大小1.7—2.6μm,为多粒包埋类型.每个病毒束内有2—7个核衣壳,大小约52nm×308nm.感染烟青虫(Heliothis assttlta)后分离到的多角体(As-HaNPV)其形状不规则,大小0.7—2.6μm,亦为多粒包埋类型.核衣壳2—6个不等,大小约40nm×300nm.EcoR1和HindⅢ限制性内切酶电泳图谱分析表明,AsNPVCDNA和As-HaNPV DNA的EcoRI、HindIII酶切图谱一致,两者与HaNPV DNA的EcoRI,HindⅢ酶切图谱存在明显差异,AsNPVC DNA的EcoRI酶切图谱共有15个片段,分子量在12.74×106—1.18×106道尔顿之间,总分子量约88.6×106道尔顿,相当于134.25kbp.HaNPV DNA的EcoRI酶切图谱共有19个片段,分子量在13.89×106—1.10×106道尔顿之间,总分子量约93.86×106道尔顿,相当于142.25kbp.AsNPV对黄地老虎2龄和4龄幼虫以及对烟青虫4龄幼虫的LD50分别为:1.4×105pIB、7.4×104PIB和2.61×104PIB.  相似文献

The prostate gland is unique in its ability to secrete large amounts of zinc and citrate, suggesting that it employs unusual transport mechanisms. Intracellular ionic homeostasis in prostate is likely to be mediated by the Na,K-pump, yet there have been few studies of its regulation in this tissue. Accordingly, we explored the expression of the Na,K-pump in PC3 cells, an established cell line of human prostate epithelial cells. Total RNA from confluent monolayers of PC3 cells was isolated, reverse transcribed, and the resulting complementary DNA was amplified by polymerase chain reaction using primers specific for each of the pump's constituent subunits. The amplification revealed a complex pattern of Na,K-pump expression, with detection of mRNAs encoding the alpha1-, alpha3-, alpha4-, betal-, beta2- and beta3-isoforms. We next examined the effect on pump activity of prolactin, an important mediator of cell proliferation in prostate cancer. Monolayers exposed to 10 nM prolactin for 24 hr revealed an inhibition of 40% in ouabain-sensitive 86Rb+ uptake, a sensitive measure of pump-mediated transport. These experiments suggest that the unique transport properties of prostate may depend, at least in part, on a complicated pattern of Na,K-pump expression and regulation.  相似文献

魏家窝铺遗址位于内蒙古赤峰市红山区文钟镇魏家窝铺村,是一处大型的红山文化中期环壕聚落遗址。在2009-2011年发掘出土的陶器中,许多平底器类标本内壁表面都发现有细腻的黑色灰烬,我们对这些灰烬和几件不含灰烬的陶器标本进行了植物残留物提取和鉴定,从六份样品中观测到了植物淀粉粒,这些淀粉粒可根据形态分为四种类型,分别代表了禾本科、植物地下储藏器官、疑似坚果的植物种类和未知种类。大量的禾本科淀粉粒在形态上与粟类(小米)淀粉粒极为相似,加之遗址中出土的大量炭化粟,我们推测,这些陶罐中的黑色灰烬为内部盛装的粟炭化分解所致,这些陶器正是红山文化中的食物储藏器。存在的其他类型淀粉粒表明,尽管魏家窝铺遗址出土的植物遗存已显示了较为确凿的农业经济,但采集经济也仍占有重要地位。  相似文献
