肾综合征出血热(HFRS)为一组抗原性密切相关的布尼亚科汉坦病毒引起的急性传染病。在我国存在至少两种临床表现、动物宿主及流行特征截然不同的血清型别,即血清Ⅰ型(汉坦型)和血清Ⅱ型(汉城型)。这两型病毒间的血清学定型已有报道。近年来,除啮齿类动物外,从临床病人以及非啮齿类动物体内也分离到了HFRS病毒。同时出现两类型别毒株共存,以及从家鼠体内分离到野鼠型毒株或从野鼠体内分离到家鼠型毒株的复杂情形。为此,准确检定并鉴别不同来源毒株型别,将为深入了解其病原学、流行病学以及制定疫苗生产策略提供重要信息。  相似文献

The respective effects of meristem temperature, vapour pressuredeficit (VPD) and photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD)on leaf elongation rate (LER) of maize, in the absence of waterdeficit in the soil have been quantified. This analysis wascarried out in a series of field experiments in northern andsouthern France over several seasons and years, and in growthchamber experiments. LER was measured with 10 min steps, togetherwith meristem temperature, VPD and PPFD at leaf level in threetypes of experiments: in growth chamber experiments with stepsin PPFD or VPD at constant meristem temperature, in growth chamberexperiments with several combinations of constant, but contrasting,PPFDs, VPDs and meristem temperatures, and in the field withfluctuating conditions, (i) When evaporative demand was low(night or day with low air VPD), LER was only linked to meristemtemperature, regardless of other climatic conditions, (ii) Lighthad no effect per se on LER in the range from 0 to 1500 molm–2 s–1 for time-scales longer than 2 h, providedthat its indirect effects on meristem temperature and on evaporativedemand were corrected (in the growth chamber) or taken intoaccount (in the field), and provided that cumulated PPFD overa weekly time-scale was compatible with field conditions, (iii)Evaporative demand sensed by growing leaves, as estimated bymeristem-to-air vapour pressure difference, markedly affectedLER in the range from 1–4 kPa, at all time-scales understudy, with a unique relationship in the growth chamber (constantconditions) and in the field (fluctuating conditions). Thiseffect was only observed when PPFD was high enough for stomatato open. The negative effect of evaporative demand on LER wasprobably not due to long distance root-to-shoot signalling,since soil was wet, calculated root water potential remainedclose to 0 MPa and concentration of ABA in the xylem sap wasvery low. Therefore, it is proposed to model maize LER witha two-step process, involving the calculation of the maximumLER at a given meristem temperature and then the calculationof the reduction in LER due to evaporative demand. Joint analysisof the whole set of data by using the two equations yieldeda r2 of 0.75. This two-step process would be more accurate thanthe provision of LER from temperature only in cases where airVPD frequently exceeds 2 kPa. Synopsis Lake Malawi/Niassa is the second largest rift valley lake in Africa, with an area of 28 800 km2, and an average and maximum depth of 292 m and>700 m, respectively. The lake is well known for the great diversity of fish occurring in the inshore zone. However, the offshore fish community is poorly documented. To rectify this, regular sampling was undertaken over two years, using trawl and gillnets at six offshore locations. This paper reports on the species composition, spatial distribution and breeding biology of the dominant cichlids species from the offshore pelagic zone. Cichlids formed approximately 88% of the offshore fish biomass. Most abundant were two species of zooplanktivores in the genus Diplotaxodon that made up 71% of the offshore fish biomass. An undescribed species, given the cheironym D. bigeye, was mainly found at a depth of 220 m during the day, but moved into near surface waters at night when the moon was full. This species was absent from the shallow regions of the lake. The most abundant offshore species was D. limnothrissa, which was distributed evenly throughout the lake to depths of 220 m. A less common offshore zooplanktivore was Copadichromis quadrimaculatus that formed 5% of the biomass and was confined to the upper 100 m of the water column. The main piscivores were in the genus Rhamphochromis and formed approximately 10% of the offshore fish biomass. The two dominant taxa were R. longiceps and the large Rhamphochromis group, and both were more common in the southern half of the lake. The former occurred mainly in the upper 100 m of the water column and the latter mainly at depths of 100–150 m. The length at maturity and fecundity for the dominant offshore species were estimated and seasonal breeding cycles determined from gonad activity and gonado-somatic indices.  相似文献

This study presents the results of the characterisation of 17 strains ofLeishmania by isoenzyme electrophoresis from a focus of leishmaniasis in southern Spain: two from human visceral leishmaniasis, four from human cutaneous leishmaniasis and 11 from sandflies. The 17 strains are grouped in 6 zymodemes characterised by their variability as regards to the electrophoretic mobility of the enzymes MDH, G6PD, NP and ME. Thus, we confirm the high intraspecific variability ofLeishmania (L.) infantum in a focus of southern Spain, as already suggested by previous studies. Zymodemes GR-15 and GR-17 are also described for the first time in Spain, and they characteristically possess the same relative electrophoretic mobility in the enzyme ME (93). Sixteen zymodemes of theL. infantum complex found in southern Spain were numerically analysed on the basis of the enzymatic profiles of 122Leishmania strains characterised from this area.  相似文献

In vitro plantlet regeneration systems for the seed geranium (Pelargonium x hortorum Bailey) using cotyledon, hypocotyl and root explants were optimized by studying the influence of seedling age, growth regulators and excision orientation on organogenesis. Indole-3-acetic acid combined with zeatin yielded the highest rate of shoot production on cotyledon explants (0.2–2 shoots per explant). More shoots were produced on explants cut from the most basal region of cotyledons from 2 to 4-day-old seedlings than from older seedlings or more distal cut sites. Hypocotyl explants produced the highest number of shoots, up to 40 shoots per explant, on indole-3-acetic acid (2.8–5.6 mM) + zeatin (4.6 mM) or thidiazuron (4.5 mM). Maximum shoot formation (0.3–1.4 shoots per explant) on root explants occurred when they were cultured on medium containing zeatin. Regenerated shoots rooted best on a basal medium containing no growth regulators. The synchronization of estrus with synthetic progestins or progesterone (P(4)) results in the development of a large, persistent ovarian follicle. The objectives of the present study were to determine if development of a persistent ovarian follicle during synchronization of estrus suppresses recruitment of additional follicles during FSH treatment. On Day 5 of the estrous cycle (estrus = Day 0), beef cows were treated with 0.5 or 2.0 P(4) releasing intravaginal devices (PRIDs) for 8 d (Experiment 1, n = 20), 5 or 2 d (Experiment 2, n = 44) before initiation of FSH treatment. Prostaglandin F(2alpha) (25 mg) was administered on Days 5 and 6. Superovulation was induced with 24 mg of recombinant bovine FSH (rbFSH, Experiment 1) or 28 mg of FSH-P (Experiment 2) over a 3- or 4-d period, respectively. The PRIDs were removed concurrently with the 5th injection of rbFSH or FSH-P. There was a treatment-by-day interaction (P < 0.001) for the concentration of 17beta-estradiol in cows treated for 8, 5 or 2 d before FSH treatment. In Experiment 1, FSH treatment initiated 8 d after insertion of a 0.5 PRID did not affect the number of CL (6.9 +/- 1.4 vs 6.7 +/- 1.6), ova/embryos (3.7 +/-1.3 vs 3.0 +/- 1.3) and transferable embryos (2.4 +/- 0.9 vs 3.0 +/- 0.9) compared with that of the 2.0 PRIDs. In Experiment 2, FSH treatment initiated 5 d after insertion of a 0.5 PRID decreased the number of CL (4.0 +/- 0.5 vs 8.3 +/- 0.8; P < 0.001), ova/embryos (3.0 +/- 0.6 vs 5.9 +/- 1.2; P < 0.03) and transferable embryos (2.3 +/- 0.6 vs 5.1 +/- 1.0; P < 0.03) compared with that of a 2.0 PRID, respectively. Initiation of FSH treatment 2 d after insertion of a 0.5 PRID compared with a 2.0 PRID had no affect on the number of CL (8.0 +/- 2.1 vs 8.7 +/- 1.2), total ova (4.8 +/- 1.4 vs 6.9 +/- 1.4) and transferable embryos (2.9 +/- 1.2 vs 6.1 +/- 1.7). In conclusion, treatment with low doses of P(4) (0.5 PRID) for 5 d but not for 2 or 8 d before initiation of FSH treatment results in the development of a dominant ovarian follicle, which reduces recruitment of ovarian follicles, and the number of CL, total ova and transferable embryos.  相似文献

Nocturnal flying insects were collected monthly for 13 months using ultra violet light-traps set at various vertical levels in a weakly-seasonal, tropical lowland dipterocarp forest in Sarawak, Malaysia. Abundance, faunal composition, size distribution and guild structure of these samples were analyzed with respect to temperal and vertical distributions. The nocturnal flying insect community in the canopy level was highly dominated by fig wasps (84%) in individual number, and by scarabaeid beetles (28%) in weight. A principal component analysis on monthly catches detected non-random, seasonal trends of insect abundance. The first two principal trends were an alternation of wetter (September to January) and less wet seasons (February to August) and an alternation between the least wet (January to March) and the other seasons. Many insect groups were less abundant in the least wet season than the other seasons, whilst inverse patterns were found in Scarabaeidae and Tenebrionidae. Significantly positive and negative correlations between monthly catch and rainfall were detected only in ovule-feeders and in phloem-feeders, respectively. Delayed, significant negative correlations between monthly catch and 1–3 month preceding rainfall were more frequently detected in phytophages, phloem-feeders, seed-feeders, wood-borers and scavengers. The peak in abundance along vertical levels were found at the canopy level (35 m) for phloem-, ovule-, seed-, root-, fungal-feeders and nectar collectors, at an upper subcanopy level (25 m) for scavengers and aquatic predators, and at a middle subcanopy level (17 m) for ants. Catches at the emergent level (45 m) did not exceed those at the canopy level.  相似文献

We have analysed the viability of cellular clones induced by mitotic recombination in Drosophila melanogaster/D. simulans hybrid females during larval growth. These clones contain a portion of either melanogaster or simulans genomes in homozygosity. Analysis has been carried out for the X and the second chromosomes, as well as for the 3L chromosome arm. Clones were not found in certain structures, and in others they appeared in a very low frequency. Only in abdominal tergites was a significant number of clones observed, although their frequency was lower than in melanogaster abdomens. The bigger the portion of the genome that is homozygous, the less viable is the recombinant melano-gaster/simulans hybrid clone. The few clones that appeared may represent cases in which mitotic recombination took place in distal chromosome intervals, so that the clones contained a small portion of either melanogaster or simulans chromosomes in homozygosity. Moreover, Lhr, a gene of D. simulans that suppresses the lethality of male and female melanogaster/simulans hybrids, does not suppress the lethality of the recombinant melanogaster/simulans clones. Thus, it appears that there is not just a single gene, but at least one per tested chromosome arm (and maybe more) that cause hybrid lethality. Therefore, the two species, D. melanogaster and D. simulans, have diverged to such a degree that the absence of part of the genome of one species cannot be substituted by the corresponding part of the genome of the other, probably due to the formation of co-adapted gene complexes in both species following their divergent evolution after speciation. The disruption of those coadapted gene complexes would cause the lethality of the recombinant hybrid clones.  相似文献
