Desmopressin caused a statistically significant increase in the water permeability of the outer medullary collecting ducts (OMCD) in 22-days old rats. Concentration of specific V2 receptors increased during postnatal period. Comparison of the V2 receptors concentration, mRNA contents, and changes of water permeability in response to desmopressin suggests that parts of transduction mechanism is situated deeper than the receptors, determines the physiological mechanism at the end of weaning period. 相似文献

In the course of adaptation of the rat kidney collecting duct cells to hypo-osmotic medium, the organic anion transporter inhibitor probenecid reduced significantly the regulatory cell volume decrease in response to a hypotonic shock. Both probenecid and hypotonic shock delayed significantly the entry into a cell of the fluorescent dye calcein, which exists as anion at neutral pH. Thus, the organic osmolyte transport plays an important role in the regulatory decrease of the principal cell volume under the hypo-osmotic conditions. 相似文献

It has been shown that endogenous opioid dermorphin induces effective analgesia after intranasal injection to fish (0.02-0.20 mg/kg) and rats (0.005 mg/kg). Maintenance of dermorphin analgesia after olfactory and trigeminal denervation indicates that the analgetic effect is not realized via the olfactory receptors or free terminals of the trigeminal nerve. 相似文献

We have studied the fatty acid (FA) contents and composition of cladocerans and copepods from warm and cold lakes. We have found no significant differences in FA percent levels and per carbon contents of cladocerans from warm and cold lakes or of copepods from warm and cold lakes. A discriminant analysis showed that all cladocerans differed from all copepods mainly due to the content of docosahexaenoic acid. Compared to cladocerans, copepods had significantly higher levels of all C22 polyunsaturated FA. Thus, we conclude that cladocerans and copepods in all environments had comparatively invariant taxon-specific compositions and contents of long-chain highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFAs). According to HUFA content, all studied copepods can be regarded as a valuable food for fish. 相似文献
