Nanobiotechnology is a fast growing field in which instruments are created by nano size particles of approximately 1 to 100 nm (1 to 100 nm) of the scale of nanometers. Nanoparticles today have potential implications for life sciences and human health applications. In this research, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were successfully synthesized using Saussurea costus root aqueous extract and AgNPs have been characterized by the use of UV–Vis, Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), and Electromicroscopy of transmission (TEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDXs). The highest number of particles are in the 5 to 15 nm range. AgNPs have been added in saffron dye solution for degradation dye biosynthesizing, and product analysis using UV/vision spectrophotometer, FTIR and HPLC has been performed. Green-summed AgNPs effectively degraded the color, with UV/VIS spectrophotometers, around 84.6 percent at 72 h of exposure time. The decrease in tested dye and presence of multiple new highs in the samples treated with different retention times (Rt) 2.30, 6.10 and 12.24 min, is positive for the biodegradation compared to the untreated dye with single high at 10.31 min, respectively. This green chemistry is very advantageous for AgNPs biosynthesis, for example, cost-effectiveness and usability for medicinal, pharmaceutical and extensive industrial applications. Furthermore, the bio-recovery unit for plant extracts provides a greater ease of handling, compared to micro-organisms.  相似文献

Background

Restriction site analysis involves determining the locations of restriction sites after the process of digestion by reconstructing their positions based on the lengths of the cut DNA. Using different reaction times with a single enzyme to cut DNA is a technique known as a partial digestion. Determining the exact locations of restriction sites following a partial digestion is challenging due to the computational time required even with the best known practical algorithm.

Results

In this paper, we introduce an efficient algorithm to find the exact solution for the partial digest problem. The algorithm is able to find all possible solutions for the input and works by traversing the solution tree with a breadth-first search in two stages and deleting all repeated subproblems. Two types of simulated data, random and Zhang, are used to measure the efficiency of the algorithm. We also apply the algorithm to real data for the Luciferase gene and the E. coli K12 genome.

Conclusion

Our algorithm is a fast tool to find the exact solution for the partial digest problem. The percentage of improvement is more than 75% over the best known practical algorithm for the worst case. For large numbers of inputs, our algorithm is able to solve the problem in a suitable time, while the best known practical algorithm is unable.

Summary The metabolism of 32P-Malathion in Rhizobium leguminosarum and Rhizobium trifolii has been investigated. In addition to inorganic phosphates and/or thiophosphates, 5 hydrolytic metabolites could be identified. The carboxylic acid derivatives constituted the major portion (35–40% of the total metabolites output) suggesting the presence of powerful carboxyesterases in both Rhizobium spp. Malaoxon could not be detected in the media of both organisms.  相似文献

Tumor protein D52-like proteins are small coiled-coil motif bearing proteins which are conserved from lower organisms to human. The founding member of the family, human D52, has principally attracted research interest due to its frequent overexpression in cancer, often in association with D52 gene amplification. This review summarises published literature concerning this protein family since their discovery, which is highlighting an increasing diversity of functions for D52-like proteins. This in turn highlights a need for more comparative functional analyses, to determine which functions are conserved and which may be isoform-specific. This knowledge will be crucial for any future manipulation of D52 function in human disease, including cancer.  相似文献
