The value of the voltage fall across the anode sheath is found as a function of the current density. Analytic solutions are obtained in a wide range of the ratio of the directed velocity of plasma electrons v 0 to their thermal velocity v T . It is shown that the voltage fall in a one-dimensional collisionless anode sheath is always negative. At the small values of v 0/v T , the obtained expression asymptotically transforms into the Langmuir formula. Generalized Bohm’s criterion for an electric discharge with allowance for the space charge density ρ(0), electric field E(0), ion velocity v i (0), and ratio v 0/v T at the plasma-sheath interface is formulated. It is shown that the minimum value of the ion velocity v i * (0) corresponds to the vanishing of the electric field at one point inside the sheath. The dependence of v i * (0) on ρ(0), E(0), and v 0/v T determines the boundary of the existence domain of stationary solutions in the sheath. Using this criterion, the maximum possible degree of contraction of the electron current at the anode is determined for a short high-current vacuum arc discharge.  相似文献

In some cases, the phase shift between fluctuations of the electric potential and plasma density helps to identify the instability that governs the turbulent state. In this paper, the basic experimental and theoretical results that denote the possibility (or impossibility) of such identification are briefly discussed. The experimental data based on measurements of the phase shift between the floating potential and ion saturation current fluctuations in the L-2M stellarator—a system with externally imposed magnetic surfaces—are presented (Shchepetov, Kholnov, Fedyanin, et al., Plasma Phys. Controlled Fusion 50, 045001 (2008)). It is shown that the observed phase shift Ω varies in a wide range from π to 0, gradually decreasing with deepening inside the plasma. A number of arguments are presented suggesting that Ω ≈ π can indicate that the process is nonlocal, i.e., oscillations at a given spatial point are driven and mainly determined by the processes localized outside of the observation point. We note that, within the framework of the magnetohydrodynamic theory, plasma was definitely unstable with respect to resistive interchange modes in all cases under study. It is demonstrated experimentally that the widespread notion that the phase shift Ω ≈ π/2 is characteristic of only resistive interchange modes is hardly universal. The experimental results are analyzed on the basis of analytical estimates.  相似文献

Results are presented from experimental studies of the structure of the compressed plasma of a Z-pinch produced during the implosion of a foam-wire load at the current of up to 3 MA. The foam-wire load consisted of two nested cylindrical cascades, one of which was a solid or hollow cylinder made of low-density agar-agar foam, while the other was a wire array. The wall thickness of a hollow foam cylinder was 100–200 μm. The images of the pinch and its spectrum obtained with the help of multiframe X-ray cameras and a grazing incidence spectrograph with a spatial resolution were analyzed. Data on the spatial structure of the emitting regions and the soft X-ray (SXR) spectrum of the Z-pinch in the final stage of compression of a foam-wire load were obtained. The implosion modes characterized by the formation of hot regions during implosion of such loads were revealed. The characteristic scale lengths of the hot regions were determined. It is shown that the energy distribution of SXR photons in the energy range from 80 eV to 1 keV forms the spatial structure of Z-pinch images recorded during the implosion of foam-wire loads. It is revealed that the spectral density of SXR emission in the photon energy range of 300–600 eV from hot Z-pinch regions exceeds the spectral density of radiation from the neighboring Z-pinch regions by more than one order of magnitude. Groups of lines related to the absorption and emission of radiation by atoms and multicharged ions of carbon and oxygen in the outer foam cascade of a foam-wire load were recorded for the first time by analyzing the spatial distribution of the SXR spectra of multicharged ions of the Z-pinch. The groups of absorption lines of ions (C III, O III, O IV, and O VI) corresponding to absorption of SXR photons in the Z-pinch of a tungsten wire array, which served as the inner cascade of a foam-wire load, were identified. The plasma electron temperature measured from the charge composition of carbon and oxygen ions in the outer agar-agar foam cascade was 10–40 eV. During the implosion of foam-wire loads at currents of up to 3 MA, SXR pulses (hν > 100 eV) with a duration of 10 ns and peak power of 3 TW were detected. It is shown that the temporal profile of single-peak and double-peak SXR pulses can be controlled by varying the parameters of the outer and inner cascades of the foam-wire load.  相似文献

Results are presented from experiments on the formation of an internal electron transport barrier near the q = 1.5 rational surface in the T-10 tokamak. The experiments were carried out in the regime with off-axis electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) heating followed by a fast plasma current ramp-up. After suppressing sawtooth oscillations by off-axis ECR heating, an internal transport barrier began to form near the q = 1.5 rational surface. In the phase of the current ramp-up, the quality of the transport barrier improved; as a result, the plasma energy confinement time increased 2–2.5 times. The intentionally produced flattening of the profile of the safety factor q(r) insignificantly affected magnetohydrodynamic activity in the plasma column in spite of the theoretical possibility of formation of substantial m/n = 3/2 and 2/1 magnetic islands. Conditions are discussed under which the flattening of the profile of the safety factor q near low-order rational surfaces leads to the formation of either an internal transport barrier or the development of an island magnetic structure induced by tearing modes.  相似文献

In arid and semi-arid regions of the world, such as Mongolia, the future of water resources under a warming climate is of particular concern. The influence of increasing temperatures on precipitation is difficult to predict because precipitation trends in coming decades could have a high degree of spatial variability. In this study, we applied a rotated principal component analysis (RPCA) to a network of 20 tree-ring chronologies across central Mongolia from 1790 to 1994 to evaluate spatial hydroclimatic variability and to place recent variability in the context of the past several centuries. The RPCA results indicate that the network consists of four tree-growth anomaly regions, which were found to be relatively stable through time and space. Correlation analyses reveal spatial linkages between the tree-growth anomalies and instrumental data, where annual streamflow variability was strongly associated with tree-growth anomalies from their respective regions from 1959 to 1994 (r = 0.52–0.64, p < 0.05). This study highlights the extent of spatial variability in hydroclimate across central Mongolia and emphasizes the value of using tree-ring networks in locations with limited instrumental records.  相似文献

The biotechnological method of synthesis of the antiviral drug ribavirin based on the transglycosylation reaction was improved due to the addition of catalytic amounts of sodium arsenate. This approach allows us to hydrolyze the excess natural nucleoside guanosine, a ribose donor, and, hence, made the composition of the reaction mixture less complicated, thus facilitating the process of ribavirin isolation. It was shown that in cell cultures the combination of ribavirin and oseltamivir carboxylate inhibited the replication of the influenza A virus more effectively than each of them alone. Similar results were obtained in experiments on laboratory animals (mouse Balb/c) infected with the influenza A virus H3N2/Aichi/68 strain.  相似文献

The coupling reagent (benzotriazole-1-yl)oxy-tris(pyrrolidino)phosphonium hexafluorophosphate (PyBOP) is widely used for the synthesis of different peptides and their amides, particularly carboxamides of glycopeptide antibiotics of the vancomycin or teicoplanin groups. The amidation reaction of the carboxyl group of the seventh amino acid residue (AA7) in antibiotics in the presence of PyBOP is not usually accompanied by the formation of significant amounts of byproducts. However, the amidation of eremomycin (I) with bulky amines (e.g., decyl amine and adamantyl amine) in the presence of PyBOP at pH ~8.5 (Et3N or (i-Pr)2EtN) yielded N-unsubstituted carboxamide of eremomycin (Ia) as an admixture. The interaction of asparagine-containing antibiotics (eremomycin or vancomycin) with the excess of PyBOP and Et3N (pH ~8.5) in the absence of amine or ammonia led to the formation of still larger amounts of corresponding unsubstituted AA7-amides (~20%). Their structure was determined by 1H NMR and ESI MS methods and confirmed by comparing with authentic samples. It is assumed that the amide group of the asparagine residue (AA3) is the source of ammonia in the unususal amidation reaction of Asn-containing antibiotics.  相似文献

Betulonic acid amides containing the nitroxyl radical moiety exert an anticholestatic effect in mice. The introduction of piperidine nitroxide moiety into the lupane core increases its hepatoprotective activity. Oral administration of the piperidine nitroxide derivative in a dose of 50 mg/kg does not stimulate transplanted tumor growth and increases lifespan in mice.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to construct a gene chip system based on a surface plasmon resonance technique, where peptide nucleic acid (PNA) oligomers are used as probes. Since the self-assembled monolayer (SAM) technology offers good control at the molecular level, we prepared 2D surface chemistry via SAM for probe attachments. PNA, which was designed according to the bioinformatics, was immobilized on the SAM-modified chip, and subsequently, relevant parameters of the experiment were ensured and optimized. Our results suggest that the ion strength and pH value of the buffer solution do not play significant roles in PNA or its complementary strand hybridization. The PNA probe binds to its complementary nucleic acid strand with a higher sensitivity and specificity compared to those of a traditional DNA probe. The PNA probe combined with surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technology has the benefits of being a label-free and in-real time monitor, as well as having improved hybridization and stability efficiency, which highlight the PNA gene chip detection system as a promising biosensor for clinical applications.  相似文献
