Attachment expectations regarding the availability of mother as a source for support are supposed to influence distressed children’s support seeking behavior. Because research is needed to better understand the mechanisms related to support seeking behavior, this study tested the hypothesis that the cognitive processing of mother-related information is linked to proximity and support seeking behavior. Uncertainty in maternal support has been shown to be characterized by a biased attentional encoding of mother, reducing the breadth of children’s attentional field around her. We investigated whether this attentional bias is related to how long distressed children wait before seeking their mother’s proximity. Thirty-three children (9-11 years) participated in this study that consisted of experimental tasks to measure attentional breadth and to observe proximity seeking behavior and of questionnaires to measure confidence in maternal support and experienced distress. Results suggested that distressed children with a more narrow attentional field around their mother wait longer to seek her proximity. The potential presence of widespread and stable bacterial core phylogroups in the human colon has promoted considerable attention. Despite major efforts, no such phylogroups have yet been identified. Therefore, using a novel phylogroup- and tree-independent approach, we present a reanalysis of 1 114 722 V2 region and 71 550 near full-length 16S rRNA sequences from a total of 210 human beings, with widespread geographic origin, ethnic background and diet, in addition to a wide range of other mammals. We found two highly prevalent core phylogroups (cores 1 and 2), belonging to the clostridial family Lachnospiraceae. These core phylogroups showed a log-normal distribution among human individuals, while non-core phylogroups showed more skewed distributions towards individuals with low levels compared with the log-normal distribution. Molecular clock analyses suggest that core 2 co-evolved with the radiation of vertebrates, while core 1 co-evolved with the mammals. Taken together, the stability, prevalence and potential functionality support the fact that the identified core phylogroups are pivotal in maintaining gut homeostasis and health. 相似文献

A bioreactor cascade with a submerged biofilm is proposed to treat young landfill leachate of jbel chakir landfill site south west from capital Tunis, Tunisia. The prototype was run under different organic loading charges varying from 0.6 to 16.3 kg TOC m−3 day−1. Without initial pH adjustment total organic carbon (TOC) removal rate varied between 65% and 97%. The total reduction of COD reached 92% at a hydraulic retention time of 36 h. However, the removal of total kjeldahl nitrogen for loading charges of 0.5 kg N m−3 day−1 reached 75%. The adjustment of pH to 7.5 improved nitrogen removal to a rate of 85% for loading charge of 1 kg N m−3 day−1. The main bacterial groups responsible for a simultaneous removal of organic carbon and nitrogen belonged to Bacillus, Actinomyces, Pseudomonas and Burkholderia genera. These selected isolates showed a great capacity of degradation at different leachate concentrations of total organic carbon. 相似文献
Attribute-based encryption (ABE) is an access control mechanism that ensures efficient data sharing among dynamic groups of users by setting up access structures indicating who can access what. However, ABE suffers from expensive computation and privacy issues in resource-constrained environments such as IoT devices. In this paper, we present SHARE-ABE, a novel collaborative approach for preserving privacy that is built on top of Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE). Our approach uses Fog computing to outsource the most laborious decryption operations to Fog nodes. The latter collaborate to partially decrypt the data using an original and efficient chained architecture. Additionally, our approach preserves the privacy of the access policy by introducing false attributes. Furthermore, we introduce a new construction of a collaboration attribute that allows users within the same group to combine their attributes while satisfying the access policy. Experiments and analyses of the security properties demonstrate that the proposed scheme is secure and efficient especially for resource-constrained IoT devices.
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) accounts for the largest number of deaths worldwide, necessitating the development of novel treatments and prevention strategies. Given the huge energy demands placed on the heart, it is not surprising that changes in energy metabolism play a key role in the development of cardiac dysfunction in CVD. A reduction in oxygen delivery to the heart, hypoxia, is sensed and responded to by the hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) and its family of proteins, by regulating the oxygen-dependent signalling cascade and subsequent response. Hypoxia is one of the main drivers of metabolic change in ischaemic disease and myocardial infarction, and we therefore suggest that HIF may be an attractive therapeutic target. In this review, we assess cardiac energy metabolism in health and disease, and how these can be regulated by HIF-1α activation. We then present an overview of research in the field of hypoxia-mimetic drugs recently developed in other treatment fields, which provide insight into the potential of systemic HIF-1α activation therapy for treating the heart. 相似文献
