Tail-anchored proteins play important roles in protein translocation, membrane fusion and apoptosis. They are targeted to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane via the guided-entry of tail-anchored proteins (Get) pathway. We present the 2 Å crystal structure of Get4 which participates in early steps of the Get pathway. The structure shows an α-solenoid fold with particular deviations from the regular pairwise arrangement of α-helices. A conserved hydrophobic groove accommodates the flexible C-terminal region in trans. The structural organization of the Get4 helical hairpin motifs provides a scaffold for protein-protein interactions in the Get pathway. 相似文献

We present the behaviors of both dynamical and static spin susceptibilities of doped gapped armchair graphene nanoribbon using the Green’s function approach in the context of Hubbard model Hamiltonian. Specially, the effects of spin polarization and gap parameter on the spin excitation modes of armchair graphene nanoribbon are investigated via calculating correlation function of spin density operators. Our results show the increase of electron concentration leads to disappear low frequency spin excitation mode for gapless case. We also show that low frequency excitation mode for both gapped and gapless nanoribbon disappears under spin full polarization condition. Finally, the electron density dependence of static charge structure factor of armchair graphene nanoribbon is studied. The effects of both gap parameter and magnetic ordering on the static structure factor are discussed in details. 相似文献

The aim of the present study was to determine the morphologic and histopathologic characteristics of tumors observed in samples from moribund Capoeta capoeta. For this purpose, ten fish, captured from the Fırat River located in southeastern Anatolia of Turkey, were examined for gross malformations and histopathological morphology. Externally, two different morphological types of tumours were detected in the anus region and on the ventral part of the operculum of one of the examined fish. In this study, tumours in a moribund fish were identified as benign because they were well differentiated, non-infiltrative and non-metastatic. In the histological examination, the external growth located in the ventral region of the operculum was characteristic of a papilloma showing exophytic inverted development. This is our first report on both melanomacrophage and green fibrils in the papilloma. The other observed pathological growth, covered with hemorrhagic skin and located near the anus, was characteristic of a benign tumour (subcutaneous lipoma) which constituted typical adipocytes.
