Mixed urogenital infection in men   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
High occurrence of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) caused by a combination of different infective agents was established. In 62.5% of cases such diseases took a course typical for mixed infections. Combinations of infective agents of STD were found to have several typical associations, e.g. Ureaplasma urealyticum and Mycoplasma hominis in combination with opportunistic microflora. The microbiocenosis of the reproductive tract was shown to form under the influence of a complex of endogenous (natural biological) and exogenous (sexual behavioral) factors leading, in each particular case, to the formation of stable associations.  相似文献

Tritium-labeled alpha-conotoxin G1 with a molar radioactivity of 35 Ci/mmol and full biological activity (according to the binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptor) was obtained by the high-temperature solid-state catalytic isotope exchange (HSCIE). The tritium distribution in the molecule of alpha-conotoxin G1 was revealed by 3H NMR spectroscopy. Tritium was found in all amino acid residues except for the Asn4-Pro5-Ala6 fragment. The data on the comparative reactivity of C-H bonds, the ab initio quantum-chemical calculation of the hydrogen exchange reaction, and the information on the spatial structures of alpha-conotoxin G1 in solution and in crystal state allowed us to establish that the reactivity of H atoms may be increased by their interaction with the electron donor O and N atoms at the transition state of the HSCIE reaction. A decrease in the rate of the HSCIE reaction could be caused by both a poor spatial accessibility of C-H bonds and a limited mobility of the peptide fragment containing these bonds.  相似文献

Therapeutic activity, pharmacokinetic and bioavailability on animals (inbred white mouse, rabbits) were evaluated for Ofloxacin-PhPO and Pefloxacin-genova in comparison with innovator products--Tarivid and Abaktal. The results of the experiments demonstrate that investigated generics by their therapeutic efficacy in animals and by bioavailability are similar to original products.  相似文献

Most commercially available optical oxygen sensors target the measuring range of 300 to 2 μmol L-1. However these are not suitable for investigating the nanomolar range which is relevant for many important environmental situations. We therefore developed a miniaturized phase fluorimeter based measurement system called the LUMOS (Luminescence Measuring Oxygen Sensor). It consists of a readout device and specialized “sensing chemistry” that relies on commercially available components. The sensor material is based on palladium(II)-5,10,15,20-tetrakis-(2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorphenyl)-porphyrin embedded in a Hyflon AD 60 polymer matrix and has a KSV of 6.25 x 10-3 ppmv-1. The applicable measurement range is from 1000 nM down to a detection limit of 0.5 nM. A second sensor material based on the platinum(II) analogue of the porphyrin is spectrally compatible with the readout device and has a measurement range of 20 μM down to 10 nM. The LUMOS device is a dedicated system optimized for a high signal to noise ratio, but in principle any phase flourimeter can be adapted to act as a readout device for the highly sensitive and robust sensing chemistry. Vise versa, the LUMOS fluorimeter can be used for read out of less sensitive optical oxygen sensors based on the same or similar indicator dyes, for example for monitoring oxygen at physiological conditions. The presented sensor system exhibits lower noise, higher resolution and higher sensitivity than the electrochemical STOX sensor previously used to measure nanomolar oxygen concentrations. Oxygen contamination in common sample containers has been investigated and microbial or enzymatic oxygen consumption at nanomolar concentrations is presented.  相似文献

Cytochrome bd from Escherichia coli is able to oxidize such substrates as guaiacol, ferrocene, benzohydroquinone, and potassium ferrocyanide through the peroxidase mechanism, while none of these donors is oxidized in the oxidase reaction (i.e. in the reaction that involves molecular oxygen as the electron acceptor). Peroxidation of guaiacol has been studied in detail. The dependence of the rate of the reaction on the concentration of the enzyme and substrates as well as the effect of various inhibitors of the oxidase reaction on the peroxidase activity have been tested. The dependence of the guaiacol-peroxidase activity on the H2O2 concentration is linear up to the concentration of 8 mM. At higher concentrations of H2O2, inactivation of the enzyme is observed. Guaiacol markedly protects the enzyme from inactivation induced by peroxide. The peroxidase activity of cytochrome bd increases with increasing guaiacol concentration, reaching saturation in the range from 0.5 to 2.5 mM, but then starts falling. Such inhibitors of the ubiquinol-oxidase activity of cytochrome bd as cyanide, pentachlorophenol, and 2-n-heptyl 4-hydroxyquinoline-N-oxide also suppress its guaiacol-peroxidase activity; in contrast, zinc ions have no influence on the enzyme-catalyzed peroxidation of guaiacol. These data suggest that guaiacol interacts with the enzyme in the center of ubiquinol binding and donates electrons into the di-heme center of oxygen reduction via heme b 558, and H2O2 is reduced by heme d. Although the peroxidase activity of cytochrome bd from E. coli is low compared to peroxidases, it might be of physiological significance for the bacterium itself and plays a pathophysiological role for humans and animals.  相似文献

BACKGROUND AND AIMS: To date, there are no crop mutants described in the literature that display both Cd accumulation and tolerance. In the present study a unique pea (Pisum sativum) mutant SGECd(t) with increased Cd tolerance and accumulation was isolated and characterized. METHODS: Ethylmethane sulfonate mutagenesis of the pea line SGE was used to obtain the mutant. Screening for Cd-tolerant seedlings in the M2 generation was performed using hydroponics in the presence of 6 microm CdCl2. Hybridological analysis was used to identify the inheritance of the mutant phenotype. Several physiological and biochemical characteristics of SGECd(t) were studied in hydroponic experiments in the presence of 3 microm CdCl2, and elemental analysis was conducted. KEY RESULTS: The mutant SGECd(t) was characterized as having a monogenic inheritance and a recessive phenotype. It showed increased Cd concentrations in roots and shoots but no obvious morphological defects, demonstrating its capability to cope well with increased Cd levels in its tissues. The enhanced Cd accumulation in the mutant was accompanied by maintenance of homeostasis of shoot Ca, Mg, Zn and Mn contents, and root Ca and Mg contents. Through the application of La(+3) and the exclusion of Ca from the nutrient solution, maintenance of nutrient homeostasis in Cd-stressed SGECd(t) was shown to contribute to the increased Cd tolerance. Control plants of the mutant (i.e. no Cd treatment) had elevated concentrations of glutathione (GSH) in the roots. Through measurements of chitinase and guaiacol-dependent peroxidase activities, as well as proline and non-protein thiol (NPT) levels, it was shown that there were lower levels of Cd stress both in roots and shoots of SGECd(t). Accumulation of phytochelatins [(PCcalculated) = (NPT)-(GSH)] could be excluded as a cause of the increased Cd tolerance in the mutant. CONCLUSIONS: The SGECd(t) mutant represents a novel and unique model to study adaptation of plants to toxic heavy metal concentrations.  相似文献

The 16-channel EEG records of 45 adolescents with schizophrenia and 39 healthy adolescents were subjected to statistical combinatorial analysis of 160 elementary EEG characteristics (6 spectral and 4 segmental EEG characteristics for a channel). Employing pattern recognition algorithm "Kora-n", a list of 37 combined EEG patterns was compiled. This list characterized with a minimal error the EEG of healthy adolescents in such a way that none of these characters featured the EEG of adolescents with schizophrenia. Analysis of this list of EEG characteristics suggests that the contrast between EEG of healthy and ill adolescents is the sharpest in the F4, Cz, T3 and O1 derivations. Compared to EEG samples of schizophrenic subjects, EEGs of healthy subjects exhibit lower levels of delta and theta activity mainly in the frontal and temporal regions of the cortex and higher level of alpha activity predominantly in the occipital region. Applicability of the list of EEG patterns for diagnostics of schizophrenia-type disorders of adolescents is discussed.  相似文献
