A DIFFERENTIAL GEOMETRIC APPROACH TO PROTEIN STRUTURE ALIGNMENT

A new method of comparing protein structures is deseribed, based on the differential-geometric representaion of protein conformation with the information of global dissimilarity and residue relatedness.The utility of this method for comparing closely and distantly related homologous proteins is demostrated by multiple alignment of globins, serine proteinases and aspartic proteinases.

抗菌多肽LC1的圆二色性和二级结构预测以及初步晶体学研究

由远紫外圆二色谱算得枯草杆菌Ａ０１４（Ｂａｃｉｌｌｕｓｓｐｐ．）所分泌的新型抗菌多肽ＬＣＩ在水溶液中的各种构象含量为：α螺旋４．７—６．０％,β折叠６７．２－７２．８％,无规卷曲和转角２１．１－２８．１％。对多种方法的二级结构预测结果进行综合分析表明,ＬＣＩ可能含有３个β转角,４个β折叠片段,仅含少量或不合α螺旋．晶体最大线度可达０．２×０．２×０．４ｍｍ,属于三方晶系。其六方Ｈ晶胞为ａ＝ｂ＝５１．２１空间群为Ｒ３２。

HSV—tk／NAS系统基因治疗脑肿瘤中野生型腺病毒的检测及其安全性

在腺病毒介导的ＨＳＶ－ｔｋ／ＮＡＳ系统脑肿瘤基因治疗研究过程中,建立了野生型腺病毒（ＲＣＡ）的检测系统,主要包括腺病毒Ｅ１区的ＰＣＲ以及野生型病毒的细胞病理效应观察这两种方法,ＰＣＲ的灵敏度为１个２９３细胞所含有的Ｅ１片段数。对基因治疗脑肿瘤所采用的重组腺病毒ＡｄＴＫ及其感染的细胞进行ＲＣＡ的检测,没有发现ＲＣＡ。通过离体实验首次发现,重组腺病毒对脑肿瘤细胞的杀伤作用明显高于正常的脑胶质细胞;大鼠
