Length‐weight relationships (LWRs) were determined for nine fish species occurring in the Nujiang River. Fish were collected using gill nets, including two nets of 1.0 m depth (100 m long; mesh size 0.5 cm), two nets of 1.0 m depth (150 m long; mesh size 2.0 cm) and two nets reaching 1.5 m depth (mesh size 6.0 cm). Gill nets were set over night including different habitats (riffles and pools, vegetated and non vegetated zones) from four sections in July of the following 2 years: 2004 and 2008. The LWRs presented here include for all nine studied species (Pseudexostoma brachysoma Chu, 1979, Creteuchiloglanis gongshanensis [Chu, 1981], Glyptothorax zanaensis Wu, He & Chu, 1981, Glyptothorax dorsalis Vinciguerra, 1890, and Glyptothorax trilineatus Blyth, 1860, Schizothorax gongshanensis Tsao, 1964, Schizothorax meridionalis Tsao, 1964, Placocheilus cryptonemus Cui & Li, 1984, and Schistura longa [Zhu, 1982]), and new maximum standard length of four species not yet reported in the literature. 相似文献

Data on the effects of magnesium-zinc-calcium-vitamin D co-supplementation on hormonal profiles, biomarkers of inflammation, and oxidative stress among women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) are scarce. The objective of this study was to assess the effects of magnesium-zinc-calcium-vitamin D co-supplementation on hormonal profiles, biomarkers of inflammation, and oxidative stress in women with PCOS. Sixty PCOS women were randomized into two groups and treated with 100 mg magnesium, 4 mg zinc, 400 mg calcium plus 200 IU vitamin D supplements (n = 30), or placebo (n = 30) twice a day for 12 weeks. Hormonal profiles, biomarkers of inflammation, and oxidative stress were assessed at baseline and at end-of-treatment. After the 12-week intervention, compared with the placebo, magnesium-zinc-calcium-vitamin D co-supplementation resulted in significant reductions in hirsutism (?2.4 ± 1.2 vs. ?0.1 ± 0.4, P < 0.001), serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein (?0.7 ± 0.8 vs. +0.2 ± 1.8 mg/L, P < 0.001), and plasma malondialdehyde (?0.4 ± 0.3 vs. +0.2 ± 1.0 μmol/L, P = 0.01), and a significant increase in plasma total antioxidant capacity concentrations (+46.6 ± 66.5 vs. ?7.7 ± 130.1 mmol/L, P = 0.04). We failed to find any significant effect of magnesium-zinc-calcium-vitamin D co-supplementation on free androgen index, and other biomarkers of inflammation and oxidative stress. Overall, magnesium-zinc-calcium-vitamin D co-supplementation for 12 weeks among PCOS women had beneficial effects on hormonal profiles, biomarkers of inflammation, and oxidative stress. 相似文献

CD8+ T cells play a vital role in cancer immunotherapy and can be shaped by metabolism. Avasimibe is an acyl coenzyme A-cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) inhibitor, which has been clinically verified safe in other phase Ⅲ clinical trials. It can potentiate the killing function of CD8+ T cells by modulating cholesterol metabolism. Doxorubicin (DOX) is an anticancer drug widely used in many cancers to induce tumor cell apoptosis. Unfortunately, DOX also can induce toxic and side effects in many organs, compromising its usage and efficacy. Herein, we report the combinational usage of avasimibe and a safe pH sensitive nano-drug delivery system composing of DOX and metal–organic frameworks nanoparticles (MNPs). Our findings demonstrated that DOX–MNPs treatment inhibited tumor growth with good safety profile and avasimibe treatment combined DOX–MNPs treatment exhibited a better efficacy than monotherapies in 4T1 breast cancer therapy. 相似文献

Silicate-Mediated Alleviation of Pb Toxicity in Banana Grown in Pb-Contaminated Soil 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
Silicate (Si) can enhance plant resistance or tolerance to the toxicity of heavy metals. However, it remains unclear whether
Si can ameliorate lead (Pb) toxicity in banana (Musa xparadisiaca) roots. In this study, treatment with 800 mg kg−1 Pb decreased both the shoot and root weight of banana seedlings. The amendment of 800 mg kg−1 Si (sodium metasilicate, Na2SiO3·9H2O) to the Pb-contaminated soil enhanced banana biomass at two growth stages significantly. The amendment of 800 mg kg−1 Si significantly increased soil pH and decreased exchangeable Pb, thus reducing soil Pb availability, while Si addition of
100 mg kg−1 did not influence soil pH. Results from Pb fractionation analysis indicated that more Pb were in the form of carbonate and
residual-bound fractions in the Si-amended Pb-contaminated soils. The ratio of Pb-bound carbonate to the total Pb tended to
increase with increasing growth stages. Treatment with 100 mg kg−1 Si had smaller effects on Pb forms in the Si-amended soils than that of 800 mg kg−1 Si. Pb treatment decreased the xylem sap greatly, but the addition of Si at both levels increased xylem sap and reduced Pb
concentration in xylem sap significantly in the Si-amended Pb treatments. The addition of Si increased the activities of POD,
SOD, and CAT in banana roots by 14.2% to 72.1% in the Si-amended Pb treatments. The results suggested that Si-enhanced tolerance
to Pb toxicity in banana seedlings was associated with Pb immobilization in the soils, the decrease of Pb transport from roots
to shoots, and Si-mediated detoxification of Pb in the plants. 相似文献
