A new class of layered cathodes, Li[NixCoyB1?x?y]O2 (NCB), is synthesized. The proposed NCB cathodes have a unique microstructure in which elongated primary particles are tightly packed into spherical secondary particles. The cathodes also exhibit a strong crystallographic texture in which the a–b layer planes are aligned along the radial direction, facilitating Li migration. The microstructure, which effectively suppresses the formation of microcracks, improves the cycling stability of the NCB cathodes. The NCB cathode with 1.5 mol% B delivers a discharge capacity of 234 mAh g?1 at 0.1 C and retains 91.2% of its initial capacity after 100 cycles (compared to values of 229 mAh g?1 at 0.1 C and 78.8% for pristine Li[Ni0.9Co0.1]O2). This study shows the importance of controlling the microstructure to obtain the required cycling stability, especially for Ni‐rich layered cathodes, where the main cause of capacity fading is related to mechanical strain in their charged state. 相似文献

Recently, two‐dimensional (2D) structure on three‐dimensional (3D) perovskites (graded 2D/3D) has been reported to be effective in significantly improving both efficiency and stability. However, the electrical properties of the 2D structure as a passivation layer on the 3D perovskite thin film and resistance to the penetration of moisture may vary depending on the length of the alkyl chain. In addition, the surface defects of the 2D itself on the 3D layer may also be affected by the correlation between the 2D structure and the hole conductive material. Therefore, systematic interfacial study with the alkyl chain length of long‐chained alkylammonium iodide forming a 2D structure is necessary. Herein, the 2D interfacial layers formed are compared with butylammonium iodide (BAI), octylammonium iodide (OAI), and dodecylammonium iodide (DAI) iodide on a 3D (FAPbI3)0.95(MAPbBr3)0.05 perovskite thin film in terms of the PCE and humidity stability. As the length of the alkyl chain increased from BA to OA to DA, the electron‐blocking ability and humidity resistance increase significantly, but the difference between OA and DA is not large. The PSC post‐treated with OAI has slightly higher PCE than those treated with BAI and DAI, achieving a certified stabilized efficiency of 22.9%. 相似文献

This study was performed to investigate the effects of Aroclor 1254 (A1254), a commercial polychlorinated biphenyl mixture, on the expression of rat placental prolactin (PRL) family genes and reproductive activity. Placental lactogen-Iv and -II, and prolactin-like protein-A and -C mRNA levels were significantly decreased in the placentas of A1254-treated rats in a dose-dependent manner. The mRNA levels of Pit-1alpha and beta isotypes, which are involved in the regulation of PRL family gene expression, were also decreased in the A1254-treated rat placenta. In the rat placental junctional zone, high-dose A1254 (25 mg/kg B.W.) treatment reduced the number of spongiotrophoblasts, cells in which the PRL family genes are expressed. Finally, maternal exposure to A1254 was shown to have significant toxic effects on reproductive activity, including embryonic and placental growth retardation, delay of parturition, and reduction of the number of pups per litter. The results of the present study indicated that A1254 has an inhibitory effect on PRL family, Pit-1alpha, and beta gene expression in the rat placenta, leading to significant toxic effects on reproductive activity in rats. 相似文献

The enzymatic function of succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) is dependent on covalent attachment of FAD on the ∼70-kDa flavoprotein subunit Sdh1. We show presently that flavinylation of the Sdh1 subunit of succinate dehydrogenase is dependent on a set of two spatially close C-terminal arginine residues that are distant from the FAD binding site. Mutation of Arg582 in yeast Sdh1 precludes flavinylation as well as assembly of the tetrameric enzyme complex. Mutation of Arg638 compromises SDH function only when present in combination with a Cys630 substitution. Mutations of either Arg582 or Arg638/Cys630 do not markedly destabilize the Sdh1 polypeptide; however, the steady-state level of Sdh5 is markedly attenuated in the Sdh1 mutant cells. With each mutant Sdh1, second-site Sdh1 suppressor mutations were recovered in Sdh1 permitting flavinylation, stabilization of Sdh5 and SDH tetramer assembly. SDH assembly appears to require FAD binding but not necessarily covalent FAD attachment. The Arg residues may be important not only for Sdh5 association but also in the recruitment and/or guidance of FAD and or succinate to the substrate site for the flavinylation reaction. The impaired assembly of SDH with the C-terminal Sdh1 mutants suggests that FAD binding is important to stabilize the Sdh1 conformation enabling association with Sdh2 and the membrane anchor subunits. 相似文献

We performed a genome-wide QTL scan for production traits in a line cross between Duroc and Pietrain breeds of pigs, which included 585 F(2) progeny produced from 31 full-sib families genotyped with 106 informative microsatellites. A linkage map covering all 18 autosomes and spanning 1987 Kosambi cM was constructed. Thirty-five phenotypic traits including body weight, growth, carcass composition and meat quality traits were analysed using least square regression interval mapping. Twenty-four QTL exceeded the genome-wide significance threshold, while 47 QTL reached the suggestive threshold. These QTL were located at 28 genomic regions on 16 autosomal chromosomes and QTL in 11 regions were significant at the genome-wide level. A QTL affecting pH value in loin was detected on SSC1 between marker-interval S0312-S0113 with strong statistical support (P < 3.0 x 10(-14)); this QTL was also associated with meat colour and conductivity. QTL for carcass composition and average daily gain was also found on SSC1, suggesting multiple QTL. Seventeen genomic segments had only a single QTL that reached at least suggestive significance. Forty QTL exhibited additive inheritance whereas 31 QTL showed (over-) dominance effects. Two QTL for trait backfat thickness were detected on SSC2; a significant paternal effect was found for a QTL in the IGF2 region while another QTL in the middle of SSC2 showed Mendelian expression. 相似文献

Genetic differentiation between populations is determined by various factors, including gene flow, selection, mutation, and genetic drift. Among these, gene flow is known to counter genetic differentiation. The genus Eranthis, an early flowering perennial herb, can serve as a good model to study genetic differentiation and gene flow due to its easily detectable population characteristics and known reproductive strategies, which can be associated with gene flow patterns. Eranthis populations are typically small and geographically separated from the others. Moreover, previous studies and our own observations suggest that seed and pollen dispersal between Eranthis populations is highly unlikely and therefore, currently, gene flow may not be probable in this genus. Based on these premises, we hypothesized that the genetic differentiation between the Eranthis populations would be significant, and that the genetic differentiation would not sensitively reflect geographic distance in the absence of gene flow. To test these hypotheses, genetic differentiation, genetic distance, isolation by distance, historical gene flow, and bottlenecks were analyzed in four species of this genus. Genetic differentiation was significantly high, and in many cases, extremely high. Moreover, genetic differentiation and geographic distance were positively correlated in most cases. We provide possible explanations for these observations. First, we suggest that the combination of the marker type used in our study (chloroplast microsatellites), genetic drift, and possibly selection might have resulted in the extremely high genetic differentiation observed herein. Additionally, we provide the possibility that genetic distance reflects geographic distance through historical gene flow, or adaptation in the absence of historical gene flow. Nevertheless, our explanations can be more rigorously examined and further refined through additional observations and various population genetic analyses. In particular, we suggest that other accessible populations of the genus Eranthis should be included in future studies to better characterize the intriguing population dynamics of this genus. 相似文献
