中国人ε珠蛋白基因5′侧序列中多态性Hinc Ⅱ位点的进一步研究

本文进一步研究了我国不同民族的正常个体以及β地中海贫血患者θ珠蛋白基因5′侧序列中的多态性HincⅡ位点及其遗传性质。在广西壮族正常个体和β地中海贫血纯合子中,该多态性位点的发生频率均为75％,与正常汉族人测得值相近。家系分析资料表明,该多态性位点完全按照孟德尔规律进行遗传。

偏执型精神分裂症与4个涉及多巴胺代谢的基因之间的关联分析

精神分裂症是由多基因相互作用导致的复杂疾病。对其易感基因,儿茶酚氧位甲基转移酶基因（COMT）的众多报道充满了矛盾。在对偏执型精神分裂症研究中,我们用多基因座关联分析法研究了4个涉及神经递质多巴胺代谢的基因之间的相互作用。分析结果支持如下假说：COMT-136-BclI对Val^108/158Met有调控作用。当前者的基因型是CC时,后者的易感等位基因型是Met（A）;而当前者的基因型是GG时,后者的易感等位基因型是Val（G）。这一新的假说可以解释此前单基因座分析对Val^108/158Met(COMT)的截然相反的报道,同时也显示了多基因座分析对复杂疾病研究的必要性。      

Effect of Human WEE1 and Stem Cell Factor on Human CD34^＋ Umbilical Cord Blood Cell Damage Induced by Chemotherapeutic Agents

Myelosuppression is one of the major side-effects of most anticancer drugs. To achieve myeloprotection, one bicistronic vector encoding anti-apoptotic protein human WEE l （WEElHu） and proliferation-stimulating stem cell factor （SCF） was generated. In this study, we selected human umbilical cord blood CD34^＋ cells as the in vitro model in an attempt to investigate whether WEEIHu, rather than conventional drug-resistant genes, can be introduced to rescue cells from the damage by chemotherapeutic agents such as cisplatin, adriamycin, mitomycin-c and 5-fluorouracil. Cell viability and cytotoxicity assay, colony-forming units in culture assay and externalization of phospholipid phosphatidylserine analysis showed that the expression of WEElHu and SCF in CD34^＋ cells provided the cells with some protection. These findings suggest that the expression of WEElHu and SCF might rescue CD34^＋ cells from chemotherapyinduced myelosuppression.     

Benzene containing polyhydroxyalkanoates homo- and copolymers synthesized by genome edited Pseudomonas entomophila

Microbial synthesis of functional polymers has become increasingly important for industrial biotechnology.For the first time,it became possible to synthesize controllable composition of poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate)(P3HA)consisting of 3-hydroxydodecanoate(3HDD)and phenyl group on the side-chain when chromosome of Pseudomonas entomophila was edited to weaken itsβ-oxidation.Cultured in the presence of 5-phenylvaleric acid(PVA),the edited P.entomophila produced only homopolymer poly(3-hydroxy-5-phenylvalerate)or P(3HPhV).While copolyesters P(3HPhV-co-3HDD)of 3-hydroxy-5-phenylvalerate(3HPhV)and 3-hydroxydodecanoate(3HDD)were synthesized when the strain was grown on mixtures of PVA and dodecanoic acid(DDA).Compositions of 3HPhV in P(3HPhV-co-3HDD)were controllable ranging from 3%to 32%depending on DDDA/PVA ratios.Nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectra clearly indicated that the polymers were homopolymer of P(3HPhV)and random copolymers of 3HPhV and 3HDD.Their mechanical and thermal properties varied dramatically depending on the monomer ratios.Our results demonstrated the possibility to produce tailor-made,novel functional PHA using the chromosome edited P.entomophila.

人类指掌皮肤嵴纹与智力发育的相关性研究

本工作对120例遗传型智残者和60例非遗传型智残者的指、掌皮肤嵴纹数进行分析,并分别与相同例数的对照组同类资料进行比较,找出与智力发育相关的指端、指间区、指基部皮纹参数,据此将遗传型智残组按智商值的不同分为6个组,将不同智商组对应的各区嵴纹数进行分析处理。结果表明,指端皮肤嵴纹数与智商呈正相关,相关系数r＝0.8319,各指间区和指基部嵴纹数与智商值呈负相关,相关系数r＝-0.7392。 Abstract　Digital and palmar of 120 cases of hereditary mental deficiency and 60 cases of non-hereditary mental deficiency were analysed, and compared with the control group using the same cases and identical data, and then skin vein parameter interrelated with intelligence development for digital end, interdigital area, digital root were found. In the light of this we divided the hereditary mental deficiency group into 6 accorcding to IQ value, and analysed statistically every area ridge count corresponding to different IQ group. The result showed that ridge count of digital end was positively correlated with IQ value correlative coefficientr=0.8319; Whereas ridge count of interdigital area and digital root were negatively correlated with IQ value correlative cofficientr=0.7392.
