As a major driving element of the structure and function of arid and semiarid ecosystems, rainfall is the essential factor limiting plant biological processes. To clarify the characteristics of transpiration and responses to summer rainfall, sap flow density (Fd) of Pinus tabulaeformis and Hippophae rhamnoides was monitored using thermal dissipation probes. In addition, midday leaf water potential (ψm) and leaf stomatal conductance (Gs) were also analyzed to determine water use strategies. The results indicated that the diurnal variation in the normalized Fd values exhibited a single‐peak curve for P. tabulaeformis, while H. rhamnoides showed multiple peaks. The normalized Fd for P. tabulaeformis remained relatively stable regardless of rainfall events. However, there was also a significant increase in the normalized Fd for H. rhamnoides in response to rainfall in June and August (< .05), although no significant differences were observed in July. The normalized Fd values for P. tabulaeformis and H. rhamnoides fitted well with the derived variable of transpiration, an integrated index calculated from the vapor pressure deficit and solar radiation (Rs), using an exponential saturation function. The differences in fitting coefficients suggested that H. rhamnoides showed more sensitivity to summer rainfall (< .01) than P. tabulaeformis. Furthermore, during the study period, P. tabulaeformis reduced Gs as soil water decreased, maintaining a relatively constant ψm; while H. rhamnoides allowed large fluctuations in ψm to maintain Gs. Therefore, P. tabulaeformis and H. rhamnoides should be considered isohydric and anisohydric species, respectively. And more consideration should be taken for H. rhamnoides in the afforestation activities and the local plantation management under the context of the frequently seasonal drought in the loess hilly region.  相似文献

以沙棘为研究对象,通过RACE、基因克隆和定量PCR技术,克隆并分析沙棘磷酸烯醇式丙酮酸羧激酶基因(PEPCK)的序列信息,以及进化树构建和氨基酸的二级结构分析,比较NaCl胁迫后PEPCK基因的表达变化,为揭示PEPCK基因在沙棘抗性方面的功能研究奠定基础。结果显示:(1)成功克隆了沙棘PEPCK基因,该基因开放阅读框(ORF)为2 001bp,编码666个氨基酸。(2)序列分析表明,沙棘PEPCK与蓖麻、黄顶菊、核桃等序列一致性高达85%以上;进化上沙棘PEPCK基因与蓖麻和狭叶羽扇豆较近,与烟草、拟南芥进化关系较远。(3)在300mmol·L~(-1) NaCl盐胁迫下,沙棘PEPCK基因表达在胁迫组中显著上升,胁迫后7d时为未处理的2.5倍,15d时达到未处理的3.2倍。研究表明,沙棘PEPCK基因在沙棘适应外源盐胁迫的过程中可能发挥了重要作用。  相似文献

永利煤矿复垦区植物叶片和枯落物生态化学计量学特征   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
为了明确煤矿复垦区植被恢复与重建以及不同物种的合理配置,以内蒙古永利露天煤矿复垦区不同植物群落叶片和枯落物为研究对象,通过对其碳(C)、氮(N)、磷(P)、钾(K)含量(质量含量)及生态化学计量学特征的研究,探讨煤矿复垦区植物养分状况及限制因子,同时研究叶片和枯落物之间的养分循环状况。结果表明:(1)不同植物类型叶片C含量变化较大,表现为乔木(侧柏537.96 g/kg)最大,草本(沙打旺423.73 g/kg)最小;N、P、K含量变化较小。枯落物中沙棘C含量(417.84 g/kg)显著高于沙打旺、柠条;N、P含量差异显著,氮含量表现为沙打旺(20.30 g/kg)最大,柠条最小,磷含量表现为沙打旺(1.57 g/kg)最大,沙棘最小;沙打旺K含量(6.31 g/kg)显著高于沙棘、柠条。叶片C、N、P、K含量高于枯落物。N、P、K的回收率分别为5.17%—50.16%、4.19%—6.41%、11.27%—23.24%,其中P回流率表现为沙打旺(6.41%)最大,柠条最小;K回流率表现为沙棘(23.24%)最大,柠条最小。(2)灌木、草本植物N/P16,乔木类N/P14,灌木类、草本类生长受制于P,乔木类生长受制于N。结合土壤C、N、P含量,建议在植被恢复初期种植豆科等先锋植物,随着土壤肥力的提高再逐步种植灌木、乔木。  相似文献

Insects ensure the survival of their offspring by depositing their eggs in suitable environments. Even generalist egg-laying insects often show preferences for specific host plants. The cocoa pod borer (CPB), Conopomorpha cramerella (Snellen) (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae), successfully infests and reproduces on relatively few host plants, but has a major economic impact only on cocoa, Theobroma cacao L. (Malvaceae). Choice tests were performed in the laboratory to compare the frequency of insect visits, the duration of the visits, and the number of eggs laid on the fruits for each combination of host plants tested – that is, cocoa clones or fruits of rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L.), Fijian longan (Pometia pinnata JR Forst & G Forst, both Sapindaceae), and langsat (Lansium domesticum Corrêa, Malvaceae). Our laboratory study showed that, when given the choice, CPB significantly favored cocoa pods over other host fruits (rambutan, langsat, or Fijian longan). Females also deposited more eggs on unripe fruits than on ripe fruits of similar size. The preference to lay eggs on specific cocoa clones in the bioassays did not reflect the level of the clone resistance to CPB damage reported from the field. Consequently, oviposition preference of female CPB does not seem to be the main factor explaining field resistance of some cocoa clones to CPB infestation.  相似文献

The population abundance, infestation, and harmful effects of the aphid Aphis craccivora Koch (Hemiptera: Aphididae) were studied on four bean plant species, namely the country bean (Lablab purpureus var. BARI Seem 1), the yard‐long bean (Vigna sesquipedalis var. BARI Borboti 1), the hyacinth bean (Dolichos lablab var. BARI Seem 6), and the bush bean (Phaseolus vulgaris var. BARI Jar Seem 3). Aphid abundance and infestation on the leaves, inflorescences, flowers, and pods differed significantly among the bean plant species, with P. vulgaris and V. sesquipedalis having the lowest and highest results, respectively. Aphid severity grade and the number of trichomes of the bean plant species were negatively correlated. The duration of the growth stages among the bean plant species were significantly different, with V. sesquipedalis having the shortest durations. Aphid abundance and infestation significantly affected the physical and phytochemical characteristics of the bean plant species. The highest reduction of number of leaves, flower inflorescences, and pod inflorescences per plant, and moisture and chlorophyll content in the leaves was found in L. purpureus. The results for V. sesquipedalis revealed the highest reduction in plant height, seed weight, and pH, while those of D. lablab showed the highest reduction in leaf area.  相似文献

Relationships between xylem anatomical traits and cavitation resistance have always been a major content of plant hydraulics. To know how plants cope with drought, it is extremely important to acquire detailed knowledge about xylem anatomical traits and assess the cavitation resistance accurately. This study aims to increase our knowledge in the methods determining cavitation resistance and xylem anatomical traits. We selected a semi-ring-porous species, Hippophae rhamnoides L., and a diffuse-porous species, Corylus heterophylla F., to clarify the reasons for the difference in cavitation resistance based on detailed xylem anatomical traits and reliable vulnerability curves (VCs). Both Cavitron and bench dehydration (BD) were used to construct VCs. Xylem anatomical traits, including pit membrane ultrastructure of these two species, were determined. The VCs obtained by the two different techniques were of different types for H. rhamnoides, its Cavitron VCs might be unreliable because of open-vessel artifacts. On the basis of BD VCs, H. rhamnoides showed higher cavitation resistance than C. heterophylla, and this is attributed to its low vessel connectivity as well as non-porous and thicker pit membranes.  相似文献

Summary The trace element content of ashed specimens of a New Zealand serpentine flora and the associated soils was investigated. Six species (Myosotis monroi Cheesem.,Notothlaspi australe Hook. f.,Pimelea suteri Kirk,Cassinia vauvilliersii (Homb. et Jacq.) Hook. f. varserpentina Ckn. et Allan,Hebe odora (Hook. f.) Ckn. andLeptospermum scoparium J. R. et G. Forst.) were analysed for cobalt, chromium, copper and nickel by emission spectroscopy. The significance of the experimental data was evaluated by calculation of the correlation coefficients by a computer.C. vauvilliersii showed highly significant correlation between plant ash and soil concentration for chromium, cobalt and nickel.H. odora andL. scoparium showed similar but less pronounced correlations. Relative concentrations varied considerably among the species studied.P. suteri is a strong accumulator of nickel and cobalt andL. scoparium of chromium. Good correlations were observed for certain pairs of elements in the plant ash of individual species and in the soils alone. Data for uptake by plants were compared with soil extractabilities. Calcium-magnesium ratios were also determined, and were found to be much lower than in the same species growing on non-serpentinized soils. It was concluded that the above species, particularlyC. vauvilliersii will be useful in biogeochemical prospecting.  相似文献

Summary The infective potential (IP) of nodule homogenates from field-grownHippophaë rhamnoides L. ssp.rhamnoides was determined by counting the number of nodules formed on test plants after inoculation with various dilutions of the homogenates. The IP was almost constant,i.e. 105 to 106 per gram of fresh nodule material. Methods to store nodule material without loss of IP were tested. The IP of air-dried nodule powders stored at 6°C hardly decreased during a period of more than a year.Data are presented on the IP of soil samples from sites representing various stages of dune formation. BeforeH. rhamnoides appeared, the IP was low: 1 to 36 nodules were formed on test plants per kg of soil. This low IP was due to low numbers of infective endophyte particles in these soils. During the succession of theH. rhamnoides scrub, the IP of the soil increased, due to the increase in the number of endophyte particles in the soil. Gradually, however, nodulation was limited by other environmental factors. The nature of these factors is discussed.  相似文献

Amplification of sea buckthorn Hippophae rhamnoides L. 5S rDNA nontranscribed spacer with coding border anneal primers showed existence of a single fragment. The fragment was cloned and sequenced. It was shown that length of the Hippophae rhamnoides L. 5S rDNA nontranscribed spacer is 807 bp. Analysis of the sequence allowed to detect a high homology with early described microsatellite locuses of Hippophae rhamnoides L., russian olive Elaeagnus angustifolia L., and Calligonum mongolicum Turcz. that include a (GA)9 motif. These results may be useful to study a ribosomal RNA gene organization.  相似文献

The foliar stable carbon isotope compositions (δ13C) of nine dominant species in seven sites, Yangling, Yongshou, Tongchuan, Fuxian, Ansai, Mizhi, and Shenmu, standing from the south to the north in the Loess Plateau of China were studied. The results showed that foliar δ13C values ranged from −22.61 to −30.73 ‰ with an average of −27.23 ‰ in 141 C3 plant samples collected from the Loess Plateau. Foliar δ13C values varied significantly (p<0.001) among the nine C3 species, which were Pinus tabulaeformis Carr., Robinia pseudoacacia L., Zizyphus jujuba Mill. var. spinosus Hu., Rubus parvifolius L., Hippophae rhamnoides L., Caragana korshinskii Kom., Lespedeza davurica (Laxm.) Schindl., Artemisia sacrorum Ledeb. var. incana Mattf., and Agropyron cristatum Gaertn. Comparatively, R. pseudoacacia, H. rhamnoides, and C. korshinskii had much higher δ13C values than the other six species, while A. sacrorum had the lowest δ13C value. There was no significant difference in foliar δ13C value among five species, P. tabulaeformis, Z. jujuba, R. parvifolius, L. davurica, and A. cristatum. Considering the life forms categorized from nine C3 species, trees and shrubs had significantly higher δ13C values than herbs (p<0.001). The deciduous tree R. pseudoacacia had much higher δ13C value than the evergreen tree P. tabulaeformis (p<0.01). Among the four shrubs, foliar δ13C values in H. rhamnoides and C. korshinskii were markedly higher (p<0.01) than those in Z. jujuba and R. parvifolius. Among the three herbs, L. davurica and A. cristatum had significantly higher δ13C values than A. sacrorum (p<0.01). Leguminous species such as R. pseudoacacia, C. korshinskii, and L. davurica as well as a non-leguminous species with nitrogen-fixation capacity, H. rhamnoides, had higher δ13C values than other non-leguminous species with same life-form. The mean δ13C value increased by about 7 % from Yangling in the south to Shenmu in the north as climatic drought increased, and foliar δ13C values differed much (p<0.001) among the seven sites. For nine species in the Loess Plateau, foliar δ13C values were significantly and negatively (p<0.001) correlated with the mean annual precipitation, moreover, an increase of 100 mm in annual precipitation would result in a decrease of 1.2 ‰ in δ13C value.  相似文献

对黄土高原丘陵沟壑区4种典型植被(荒草地、文冠果林地、柠条灌丛、沙棘林地)进行了活性有机碳(MBC,Microbial Biomass Carbon;EOC,Easily Oxidated Carbon;POC,Particle Organic Carbon)及有机碳的测定,结果表明:4种植被土壤活性有机碳含量随着土层深度的增加呈逐渐降低的趋势,土壤有机碳为文冠果林地荒草地沙棘林地柠条灌丛,且差异显著(P0.05)。荒草地0—40 cm范围内土壤MBC含量分别比文冠果林地、柠条灌丛、沙棘林地显著降低了8.61%、23.84%、41.42%(P0.05);荒草地土壤POC含量分别比文冠果林地、沙棘林地降低了14.47%、16.67%,比柠条灌丛POC高出了25.00%;但荒草地土壤EOC含量、碳库活度及碳库管理指数均显著高于其他3种植被类型(P0.05)。4中植被类型中沙棘林地土壤微生物熵(SME,Soil Microbial Entropy)最大,而柠条灌丛土壤有机碳储量最小。土壤SOC与土壤EOC、有机碳储量(SOCS,Soil Organic Carbon Storage)显著相关(P0.05),而土壤SOC与POC呈极显著的相关(P0.01);土壤EOC与土壤POC显著相关(P0.05),但土壤MBC与SOC、POC、EOC、SOCS均呈现出不同程度的负相关性。因此土壤活性有机碳能客观反映土壤肥力和土壤质量的变化情况,是描述土壤质量和评价土壤管理的重要指标。  相似文献

为了绘制沙棘H3K9乙酰化修饰图谱,确定H3K9乙酰化修饰所调控的基因,该实验通过Western blot验证抗体与组蛋白的结合能力和ChIP-seq验证抗体富集效率,获得全基因组范围内沙棘H3K9乙酰化修饰图谱和调控基因。实验结果表明,H3K9ac抗体与复合物具有较强的结合能力。对富集到的DNA片段进行高通量测序,分别获得2.2×10~7和3.6×10~7条原始序列;唯一比对序列广泛分布于沙棘基因组中,并且在结构基因中的两端具有明显的富集。对富集区进行峰的预测结果显示,共预测出1 011个峰;对峰所处部位基因进行功能预测结果发现,H3K9ac对于沙棘细胞代谢和信号转导基因的表达具有重要调控作用。沙棘片段化DNA的富集以及高通量测序结果证明,抗体能够用于研究沙棘的组蛋白修饰类型,并且绘制了沙棘第一张H3K9乙酰化修饰遗传图谱草图,鉴定出沙棘H3K9乙酰化修饰所调控的基因,为今后研究组蛋白修饰对沙棘基因表达的调控方式奠定了基础。  相似文献

植物内生菌广泛分布于植物的各种组织及器官中,对植物的生长表现出各种作用,而植物种子中的内生菌对植物的作用也越来越受到人们的关注。以榆中县和秦安县两种不同生境的中国沙棘种子为材料,分析中国沙棘种子内生细菌多样性,以期探究生境对种子内生菌多样性的影响,并为进一步研究种子内生菌与沙棘的相互作用提供依据。研究利用纯培养方法和高通量测序方法分别进行中国沙棘种子内生细菌多样性分析。对纯培养分离得到的内生细菌,利用16S rRNA基因序列分析法结合形态学特征进行内生细菌的鉴定;对高通量测序得到的数据进行基于OTUs(Operational Taxonomic units,可操作分类单元)的物种注释分析。通过纯培养方法从榆中县中国沙棘种子中分离得到4株内生细菌,分属于芽孢杆菌属(Bacillus)、葡萄球菌属(Staphylococcus)和假单胞菌属(Pseudomonas);秦安县中国沙棘种子中分离得到5株内生细菌,分属于芽孢杆菌属(Bacillus)、葡萄球菌属(Staphylococcus)和不动杆菌属(Acinetobacter)。采用高通量测序方法检测到榆中县中国沙棘种子内生细菌分属于7个门、68个属,秦安县中国沙棘种子内生细菌分属于5个门、30个属。在门分类水平,榆中县中国沙棘种子内生细菌的主要优势门类是蓝藻门(Cyanobacteria)和变形菌门(Proteobacteria),相对丰度分别为95.62%和2.03%;秦安县中国沙棘种子的主要优势门类是变形菌门(Proteobacteria)和蓝藻门(Cyanobacteria),相对丰度分别为91.68%和8.06%。在属分类水平,榆中县中国沙棘种子内生细菌的优势菌属为蓝藻细菌属(Cyanobacteria),相对丰度为95.09%;秦安县中国沙棘种子内生细菌的优势菌属为寡养单胞菌属(Stenotrophomonas),相对丰度为85.60%。榆中县和秦安县两种不同生境中国沙棘种子内生细菌有着丰富的多样性,且内生细菌的多样性和丰富度存在明显差异,表现为榆中县中国沙棘种子内生细菌的多样性和丰富度均高于秦安县中国沙棘种子内生细菌。  相似文献

The effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activities on the drought-resistance of Hippophae rhamnoides under water stress have been studied using histochemical techniques. The result shows in the mycorrhizae that total hyphae and functional hyphae form the base for the active hyphae, and amounts follow the order total hyphae>functional hyphae>active hyphae. Active hyphae play an important role in the biomass accumulation of the hosts; the hyphae with phosphatase activity (ALP) have a positive and strong effect on H. rhamnoides growth and its drought-resistance, and the rise of ALP is related to an increase in the fresh weight of the host trees, and a reduction of wilting. The direct participation of ALP in the P nutrient exchange host trees can improve the nutrient and water conditions, and raise their drought-resistance. The sea buckthorn, Hippophae rhamnoides L., is a thorny, nitrogen-fixing, dioecious, and deciduous shrub which has been attacked by a catastrophic outbreak of Holcocerus hippophaecolus in the ‘Three North Areas’ of China recently. The behavioral responses of female individuals to their dioecious host sea buckthorn, H. rhamnoides ssp. sinensis, were tested by Y-tube bioassay, and intraspecific emission variations and the circadian rhythm of male and female sea buckthorn plants were compared, together with the electrophysiological responses of sea buckthorn carpenter moths to these parameters. Y-tube olfactometry indicated that mated female H. hippophaecolus individuals did not display a significant preference for either sex of sea buckthorns. Additionally, no unique chemical compound was found. Female antennae significantly responded to 1-octene, methyl salicylate, and (Z)-3-Hexen-1-ol acetate, among which methyl salicylate was more abundant in females than in males. In addition, the circadian variation of (Z)-3-Hexen-1-ol acetate suggested that it was an effective compound for host location.  相似文献

中国沙棘主要分布于我国华北、西北、西南等地森林—草原过渡地带,是我国北方地区退耕还林、生态修复等工程的重要造林树种,对维持干旱、半干旱地区的生态环境稳定具有重要意义。探讨限制中国沙棘分布的主导气候因子,模拟其潜在适宜分布区,以期为中国沙棘在林业生态工程和生态经济林建设中的合理种植和推广提供理论依据。基于中国沙棘自然分布的328个地理样点,利用最大熵(MaxEnt)模型对中国沙棘的潜在分布区的主导气候因子进行分析,并预测中国沙棘的潜在分布范围。结果表明,基于气候变量的MaxEnt模型训练集和测试集受试者工作特征曲线下面积(AUC值)分别为0.962±0.001和0.949±0.001,均大于0.9,表明MaxEnt模型对中国沙棘潜在分布区的预测具有极高的准确度,可信度好。基于环境变量贡献率和刀切法的结果表明年降雨情况、生长季的水热状况、最干季降雨和最冷月最低温等是限制中国沙棘分布的主要气候因素,其中年降雨是限制中国沙棘分布的主导气候因子。通过模拟得到现代中国沙棘潜在地理分布的总适生区面积为165.1万km~2;其中高适生区和中适生区面积共93.3万km~2,主要集中分布于河北西部、北部,...  相似文献

RAPD markers were used to assess the genetic diversity and inter- and intra-specific relationships of the genus Hippophae L. and to study the correlation between genetic distances and geographic distances among populations of H. rhamnoides ssp. sinensis. The results analyzed by the percentage of polymorphic loci and Shannon information index indicated that a high level of genetic diversity existed both among and within species of the genus Hippophae. In the UPGMA dendrogram, the species or subspecies were clustered into two main groups but not strictly grouped according to sect. Hippophae and sect. Gyantsensis Lian. The multiple regression analysis and Mantel test both indicated a significant correlation between genetic distance and altitude distance among populations of H. rhamnoides ssp. sinensis, and the cluster analysis suggested that the genetic variation among populations of H. rhamnoides ssp. sinensis was linked to their monophyletic origin. Moreover, some degree of genetic differentiation was found among samples collected at different times.  相似文献
