The South Florida Water Management District (District) has built large treatment wetlands, known as Stormwater Treatment Areas (STAs), to reduce excess phosphorus loading to the Everglades. The District conducted research in a prototype treatment wetland, the Everglades Nutrient Removal Project (ENRP), to study biogeochemical processes that are important to treatment performance. Vertical profile measurements of water temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity and transmission of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) were made in open-water areas and sites dominated by emergent, floating or submersed vegetation over an annual cycle. Relative thermal resistance to mixing was used to infer the strength of thermal stratification. Long-term diel variation in temperature at the surface and bottom of an open-water and a vegetated site also was measured. Open-water sites were nearly isothermal and had minimal thermal stratification, while vegetated sites were all thermally stratified to some degree. The highest surface water temperatures (>35 °C) occurred in submersed vegetation where much of the light absorbed by leaves and stems was reflected as heat. Oxygen was uniformly low (<4 mg L−1) in emergent and floating vegetation and attributed to shading, high biological oxygen demand and limited reaeration at the surface. Depressed oxygen levels at open-water areas were attributed to high sediment oxygen demand. The highest oxygen concentrations occurred in submersed vegetation beds. Water column pH was unstratified and near circumneutral in the open water and at emergent and floating vegetation sites, while pH was markedly stratified in submersed vegetation, where surface values at times exceeded 9.0. High surface oxygen and pH levels in submersed vegetation were consistent with intense photosynthesis. Conductivity increased at the bottom of emergent and submersed vegetation but not at open-water or floating vegetation sites. PAR transmission was strongly reduced at all sites due to shading and/or absorption by dissolved organic carbon. Light extinction coefficients were markedly higher at vegetated sites compared to the open water. Peak irradiance shifted to longer wavelengths (538–643 nm) and both short (<400 nm) and long (>700 nm) wavelengths were largely attenuated at 60 cm relative to the surface. Long-term monitoring at a vegetated site revealed periods of inverse thermal stratification and dampened diel variation in temperatures at the bottom compared to open water. 相似文献

Decomposition of macrophyte litter in a subtropical constructed wetland in south Florida (USA) 总被引:13,自引:4,他引:13
The South Florida Water Management District has constructed large treatment wetlands (stormwater treatment areas (STAs)) to reduce total phosphorus concentrations in agricultural runoff before this water enters the Everglades. An important component of nutrient removal and storage in these systems is incorporation of nutrients into aquatic macrophytes and burial of this biomass in the sediments. However, decomposition of plant biomass before burial returns nutrients to the water column and may reduce STA treatment efficiency. As part of research on biogeochemical control of STA performance, we conducted a summer (July–September) and a long-term (12-month) experiment (February–February) that measured decomposition rates and release of chemical constituents from dominant aquatic macrophytes in a constructed wetland located in south Florida. The rank order of mean decomposition rates was Najas/Ceratophyllum (0.0568 d−1) > Pistia (0.0508 d−1) > Eichhornia (0.0191 d−1) > submerged Typha (0.0059 d−1) > aerial Typha (0.0008 d−1). Summer decomposition rates were generally higher than rates from the long-term experiment, which suggested a temperature effect. Decomposition rates were negatively correlated with litter C:N and C:P molar ratios and cellulose and lignin content and positively correlated with N and P content. There was no significant difference in decomposition rates among sampling stations despite the fact that there was a decreasing gradient in water column inorganic phosphorus and nitrogen concentrations at these sites. Relatively little of the initial P mass remained in the litter of all species, except Typha, by the end of both experiments. First-order decomposition models derived using nonlinear regression generally had explanatory power, i.e. accounted for variance, comparable to more complex decreasing-coefficient models. Decomposition rates for the species examined in this study were within the range of published values when comparisons were made either by species or by plant group. 相似文献

The Everglades Nutrient Removal Project (ENRP), a 1544-ha constructed wetland in south Florida, was intensively monitored throughout its five-year operational history. Water budgets for the ENRP and each of its interior treatment cells were dominated by surface flows (≥85% of inflows; ≥68% of outflows) with smaller contributions from precipitation, evapotranspiration, groundwater flux, and change in storage. The mean water depth, hydraulic loading rate for surface water, and nominal hydraulic retention time for the entire wetland were 0.6 m, 3.1 cm d−1 and 17.7 d, respectively, and were comparable to values anticipated in design. The east flow-way was slightly shallower (0.2 m) and received proportionately more flow (61%) than the west flow-way. The hydrology of other treatment wetlands is often driven by surface flows. All treatment cells in the ENRP were to some extent hydraulically short-circuited. There was net groundwater inflow to the ENRP from Water Conservation Area 1 (WCA-1) resulting from significant head differences between these wetlands. Groundwater outflow to the adjacent farmlands was greatest in Cell 2 and substantially exceeded groundwater inflow. All hydrologic parameters exhibited seasonality to some extent; fluctuation in water depth and groundwater inflows corresponded with the seasonal change in stage in WCA-1. Errors in the ENRP and individual cell water budgets were generally less than 10% and within the range of errors for water budgets from other wetlands. 相似文献

Periphyton as a potential phosphorus sink in the Everglades Nutrient Removal Project 总被引:4,自引:6,他引:4
Phosphorus uptake and release by periphyton mats were quantified in the Everglades Nutrient Removal Project (ENRP) to evaluate the potential for periphyton P removal. Short-term P uptake rates were determined by incubating cyanobacteria (Oscillatoria princeps and Shizothrix calcicola) and Chlorophycean (primarily Rhizoclonium spp.) algal mat samples for 0.5–2 h under ambient conditions in BOD bottles spiked with soluble reactive P (SRP). Cyanobacterial mats removed P more than twice as fast (80–164 μg P h−1 g−1 AFDM) as Chlorophycean mats (33–61 μg P h−1 g−1 AFDM) during these incubations. In a longer term study, fiberglass cylinders were used to enclose 1.8 m2 plots within the wetland and were dosed weekly for 7 weeks with: (1) no nutrients; (2) SRP (0.25 g P m−2 week−1); or (3) SRP plus nitrate (0.42 g N m−2 week−1) and ammonium (0.83 g N m−2 week−1). Phosphorus uptake rates by this periphyton assemblage, which was dominated by the chlorophytes Stigeoclonium spp. and Oedogonium spp., were measured weekly and were similar among nutrient treatments on most dates, indicating that the algal storage compartment for P was not saturated despite repeated P additions. Decomposition rates and P loss by cyanobacteria and Chlorophycean mats were determined by measuring biomass loss and SRP release in darkened BOD bottles over 28–42 day periods under anaerobic and aerobic conditions. First-order aerobic and anaerobic decomposition rates for cyanobacterial mats (k = 0.1095 and 0.1408 day−1, respectively) were 4–20-fold higher than rates for Chlorophycean mats (k = 0.0066 and 0.0250 day−1, respectively) and cyanobacteria released considerably more P back to the water column. Our findings suggest that periphyton can be an important short-term sink for P in treatment wetlands and that retention is strongly affected by the taxonomic composition of the periphyton assemblage. 相似文献

The objective of this work was to study the effect of plant presence (Phragmites australis) and inoculant origin on wetland mesocosm start-up dynamics. Eight mesocosms were studied based on a duplicated 22 factorial design tracking bacterial community and hydrological changes during an 8 month start-up period. The mesocosms were characterized in terms of their hydrological character based on evapotranspiration (ET), porosity, and a dispersion coefficient. The microbiological regime was characterized using a microbial activity measure and community-level physiological profiling (CLPP) employing BIOLOG™ ECO plates. CLPP-related indices such as substrate richness, substrate diversity, over-all community profile, and community divergence are also presented. It was found that mesocosm porosities decreased over time as a result of media-related biofilm development. This biofilm development also contributed to a substantial increase in the dispersion coefficient in the mesocosms over the start-up period. Dispersion coefficients in planted systems reached values of ∼50-55 cm2/min whereas in the unplanted systems values of ∼30-35 cm2/min were observed. Bacterial community divergence in the mesocosms was quantified using a Euclidean-based divergence metric. All mesocosms showed a sharp increase in community divergence until day 75, at which point a steady state was reached. The interstitial communities were also characterized in terms of similarity based on the experimental design treatments. Four stages of mesocosm development were identified that can be described by an initial community state based on the origins of the initial inoculum [days 0-6]; a dynamic period where adjustments and shifts in the bacterial community occurred in all mesocosms [days 7-26]; a period where all interstitial CLPPs were quite similar [days 27-73]; and finally a shift towards unplanted and planted mesocosm CLPP groupings [days 74-232]. 相似文献

Percolation of rainfall through woodwaste piles leaches natural chemicals from the wood residuals that can have adverse impacts on the environment. A study was conducted on a woodwaste storage site, adjacent to the Lower Fraser River, near Mission, BC, Canada. The objective of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of constructed wetland for treatment of this woodwaste leachate. The leachate was characterized by high oxygen demand, tannin and lignin, and volatile fatty acids (VFAs), but low pH and nutrients. Diluted leachate passed through six pilot-scale wetland cells, four planted with cattail (Typha latifolia) and two unplanted controls, with a hydraulic retention time of 7 days and an average depth of 40 cm. Nutrient addition and pH adjustments were made to improve contaminant removal. Reductions in contaminants were consistently achieved, with average removals for BOD, COD, VFAs and tannin and lignin of 60, 50, 69 and 42%, respectively. Climatic conditions had an impact on the performance of the constructed wetland. Further operation of the system will help to elucidate the seasonal fluctuations. Aging of the constructed wetland system increased the treatment performance. 相似文献

Effects of increased phosphorus loading on dissolved oxygen in a subtropical wetland, the Florida Everglades 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
The Florida Everglades is an oligotrophic, phosphorus (P)-limited wetland that is experiencing eutrophication as a result of P-enriched agricultural runoff. Effects of P enrichment on diel water-column dissolved oxygen concentration (DO) profiles were measured along nutrient gradients downstream of agricultural discharges in two northern Everglades marshes and in field enclosures (mesocosms) exposed to different P loading rates. Reference (i.e., water-column TP < 10 g/L) areas in the marsh interior were characterized by strong diel fluctuations in DO, and aerobic conditions generally were maintained throughout the diel cycle. Enriched stations (water-column TP elevated to between 12 and 131 g/L) were characterized by dampened diel fluctuations and reduced DO, and the extent of these changes was correlated strongly with marsh P concentrations. Mean DO declined from between 1.81 and 7.52 mg/L at reference stations to between 0.04 and 3.18 mg/L in highly enriched areas. Similarly, minimum DO declined from between 0.33 and 5.86 mg/L to between 0 and 0.84 mg/L with increasing enrichment, and the frequency of extremely low DO (< 1 mg/L) increased from between 0 and 20% to as high as 100% in the most enriched areas. Diel oxygen profiles in P-enriched mesocosms declined progressively with time; all loading treatments exhibited similar DO during the 1st year of P loading, but concentrations declined significantly at higher loads by year 3. Reductions in water-column DO with increased P enrichment were associated with reduced oxygen production by submersed periphyton and macrophytes and increased sediment oxygen demand. Increased emergent macrophyte cover in enriched areas likely contributed to these changes by shading the water-column, which inhibited submerged productivity, and by providing inputs of nutrient-rich detritus, which increased oxygen demand. Declines in marsh DO are associated with other ecological changes such as increased anaerobic metabolism and an increase in invertebrate taxa that tolerate low DO. While background oxygen concentrations in wetlands can be lower than those in lakes and rivers, declines in water-column DO caused by eutrophication can result in biological impacts similar to those in other aquatic ecosystems. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to develop an input/output mass balance to predict phosphorus retention in a five pond constructed wetland system (CWS) at Greenmount Farm, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The mass balance was created using 14-months of flow data collected at inflow and outflow points on a weekly basis. Balance outputs were correlated with meteorological parameters, such as daily air temperature and hydrological flow, recorded daily onsite. The mass balance showed that phosphorus retention within the system exceeded phosphorus release, illustrating the success of this CWS to remove nutrients from agricultural effluent from a dairy farm. The last pond, pond 5, showed the greatest relative retention of 86%. Comparison of retention and mean air temperature highlighted a striking difference in trends between up-gradient and down-gradient ponds, with up-gradient ponds 1 and 2 displaying a positive quadratic relationship and down-gradient ponds 3 through 5 displaying a negative quadratic relationship. 相似文献

Performance of a constructed wetland in treating brackish wastewater from commercial recirculating and super-intensive shrimp growout systems 总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
A recirculating aquaculture system was developed for treating Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) production wastewater using an integrated vertical-flow (IVF) and five connected integrated horizontal flow (IHF) constructed wetlands as water treatment filters for mesohaline conditions (8.25‰-8.26‰ salinity). The constructed wetlands demonstrated the ability to reduce total nitrogen, total ammonia nitrogen, nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, total phosphorous, chemical oxygen demand, and total suspended solids to levels significantly lower than those in effluents from culture tanks. Various water quality parameters in the culture tanks were deemed suitable for shrimp culture. The actual ratio of wetland area (A(w)) to culture tank area (A(t)) was 1.1439, and the estimated optimal ratio A(w)/A(t) was approximately 1. The IVF-IHF wetlands showed flexibility and reliability in consistently removing the main pollutants from commercial recirculating and super-intensive shrimp growout systems throughout the culture period. 相似文献

Catabolic diversity of periphyton and detritus microbial communities in a subtropical wetland 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The catabolic diversity of wetland microbial communities may be a sensitive indicator of nutrient loading or changes in environmental
conditions. The objectives of this study were to assess the response of periphyton and microbial communities in water conservation
area-2a (WCA-2a) of the Everglades to additions of C-substrates and inorganic nutrients. Carbon dioxide and CH4 production rates were measured using 14 days incubation for periphyton, which typifies oligotrophic areas, and detritus,
which is prevalent at P-impacted areas of WCA-2a. The wetland was characterized by decreasing P levels from peripheral to
interior, oligotrophic areas. Microbial biomass and N mineralization rates were higher for oligotrophic periphyton than detritus.
Methane production rates were also higher for unamended periphyton (80 mg CH4-C kg−1 d−1) than detritus (22 mg CH4-C kg−1 d−1), even though the organic matter content was higher for detritus (80%) than periphyton (69%). Carbon dioxide production for
unamended periphyton (222 mg CO2-C kg−1 d−1) was significantly greater than unamended detritus (84 mg CO2-C kg−1 d−1). The response of the heterotrophic microbial community to added C-substrates was related to the nutrient status of the wetland,
as substrate-induced respiration (SIR) was higher for detritus than periphyton. Amides and polysaccharides stimulated SIR
more than other C-substrates, and methanogenesis was greater contributor to SIR for periphyton than detritus. Inorganic P
addition stimulated CO2 and CH4 production for periphyton but not detritus, indicating a P limitation in the interior areas of WCA-2a. Continued nutrient
loading into oligotrophic areas of WCA-2a or enhanced internal nutrient cycling may stimulate organic matter decomposition
and further contribute to undesirable changes to the Everglades ecosystem caused by nutrient enrichment. 相似文献

The vertical-flow constructed wetland (VFCW) is a promising engineering technique for removal of excess nutrients and certain pollutants from wastewater and stormwater. The aim of this study was to develop a model using the STELLA software for estimating nitrogen (N) dynamics in an artificial VFCW (i.e., a substrate column with six zones) associated with a growing Cyperus alternifolius species under a wetting (wastewater) -to-drying ratio of 1:3. The model was calibrated by our experimental data with a reasonable agreement prior to its applications. Simulations showed that rates of NH4+-N and NO3−-N leaching decreased with increasing zone number (or column depth), although such a decrease was much more profound for NH4+-N. Our simulations further revealed that rate of NH4+-N leaching decreased with time within each zone, whereas rate of NO3−-N leaching increased with time within each zone. Additionally, both the rates of NH4+-N and NO3−-N leaching through zones followed the water flow pattern: breakthrough during wetting period and cessation during drying period. In general, the cumulative amounts of total nitrogen (TN) were in the following order: leaching > denitrification > uptake > settlement. About 54% of the TN from the wastewater flowed out of the VFCW system, 18% of TN lost due to denitrification, 6% of TN was taken up by roots of a single plant (one hill), and the rest of 22% TN from the wastewater was removed from other mechanisms, such as volatilization, adsorption, and deposition. This study suggested that to improve the overall performance of a VFCW for N removal, prevention of N leaching loss was one of the major issues. 相似文献

Phosphorus removal by the Ceratophyllum/periphyton complex in a south Florida (USA) freshwater marsh 总被引:1,自引:4,他引:1
Removal of phosphorus (P) by Ceratophyllum demersum L. and associated epiphytic periphyton was quantified by measuring the disappearance of soluble reactive P (SRP) from microcosms during 1-h in situ incubations conducted over a 1-year period. Initial P concentrations in these incubations ranged from 30 to >10,000 μg P L−1. Phosphorus removal was proportional to initial P concentrations and was weakly correlated with solar irradiance and water temperature. Removal rates (0.6–32.8 mg P m−2 d−1) and kv coefficients (0.68–1.93 h−1) from experiments run at low initial P concentrations (up to 200 μg P L−1) were comparable to results reported for other macrophytes. Removal rates from experiments run at the highest (>10,000 μg P L−1) initial P concentrations (5300 and 11,100 mg P m−2 d−1) most likely represented luxury nutrient consumption and were not thought to be sustainable long term. We were unable to determine a Vmax for P removal, suggesting that the nutrient-storage capability of the C. demersum/periphyton complex was not saturated during our short-term incubations. Based on N:P molar ratios, the marsh was P limited, while the C. demersum/periphyton complex was either N limited or in balance for N and P throughout this study. However, despite its tissue stoichiometry, the C. demersum/periphyton complex always exhibited an affinity for P. It appeared that the biochemical mechanisms, which mediate P removal, at least on a short-term basis, were more influenced by increases in ambient P levels than by tissue nutrient stoichiometry. 相似文献

Low-carbon assessment for ecological wastewater treatment by a constructed wetland in Beijing 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Presented in this paper is a low-carbon assessment for wastewater treatment by a constructed wetland as ecological engineering. Systems accounting by combining process and input-output analyses is applied to track both direct and indirect GHG emissions associated with the wastewater treatment. Based on the detailed assessment procedures and the embodied GHG emission intensity database for the Chinese economy in 2007, the GHG emissions embodied in both the construction and operation stages of a pilot constructed wetland in Beijing are investigated in concrete detail, with parallel calculations carried out for a cyclic activated sludge plant as a typical conventional wastewater treatment system for comparison. With the overall embodied GHG emissions taken into account, the constructed wetland is shown to be remarkably less carbon intensive than the conventional wastewater treatment system, and the contrast in GHG emission structure is also revealed and characterized. According to the results, the ecological engineering of the constructed wetland is considered to be favorable for achieving the low-carbon goal. 相似文献

Performance of integrated household constructed wetland for domestic wastewater treatment in rural areas 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
As environmental legislation has become stricter in recent years, the issue of wastewater treatment in rural areas has become an increasing concern. Choice of the most suitable on-site purification systems is based on the key issues of affordability and appropriateness in Chinese rural areas. This paper describes an integrated household constructed wetland (IHCW) system planted with willow (Salix babylonica) to treat household domestic wastewater in rural villages in northern China. The precast frame structure of IHCW is strong and waterproof. It can be mass-produced and installed per a standard set of specifications. The IHCW has achieved high overall removal efficiencies for BOD5, TSS, NH4-N, and TP: 96.0%, 97.0%, 88.4% and 87.8%, respectively. A 0.4 m biomass layer cover on the system provided significant system thermal insulation, maintaining high treatment performance in freezing winter conditions. The system is cost effective and does not need any operational energy inputs, demonstrating its feasibility for single-family use in developing countries. 相似文献

Dewatered alum sludge, a widely generated by-product of drinking water treatment plants using aluminium salts as coagulants was used as main substrate in a pilot on-site constructed wetland system treating agricultural wastewater for 11 months. Treatment performance was evaluated and spreadsheet analysis was used to establish correlations between water quality variables. Results showed that removal rates (in g/m2 d) of 4.6-249.2 for 5 day biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), 35.6-502.0 for chemical oxygen demand (COD), 2.5-14.3 for total phosphorus (TP) and 2.7-14.6 for phosphate (PO4P) were achieved. Multiple regression analysis showed that effluent BOD5 and COD can be predicted to a reasonable accuracy (R2 = 0.665 and 0.588, respectively) by using input variables which can be easily monitored in real time as sole predictor variables. This could provide a rapid and cheap alternative to such laborious and time consuming analyses and also serve as management tools for day-to-day process control. 相似文献

This paper presents a mechanistic, compartmental simulation model of subsurface-flow constructed wetlands. The model consists of six submodels, including the nitrogen and carbon cycles, both autotrophic and heterotrophic bacteria growth and metabolism, and water and oxygen balances. Data from an existing constructed wetland in Maryland were used to calibrate the model. Model results reproduced seasonal trends well. Interactions between the carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen cycles were evident in model output. In general, effluent biochemical oxygen demand, organic nitrogen, ammonium and nitrate concentrations were predicted well. Because little is known about rootzone aeration by wetland plants, oxygen predictions were fair. The model is generally insensitive to changes in individual parameters. This is due to the complexity of the ecosystem and the model, as well as the numerous feedback mechanisms. The model is most sensitive to changes in parameters that affect microbial growth and substrate use directly. This dynamic, compartmental, simulation model is an effective tool for evaluating the performance of subsurface-flow constructed wetlands. The model provided insights into treatment problems at an existing constructed wetland. With further evaluation and refinement, the model will be a useful design tool for subsurface-flow constructed wetlands. 相似文献

Test of the first-order removal model for metal retention in a young constructed wetland 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The first-order removal model is widely used in constructed wetland design. The suitability of this model was tested to predict metal retention in a young constructed wetland receiving agricultural and urban runoff. During two years, water samples for total and dissolved metal analyses were collected every third day at both the inlet and the outlet. The wetland retained metals best during summer and fall whereas during winter the retention of metals was significantly lower. The first-order removal model predicted Fe and Mn retention in the spring and dissolved Zn retention from spring to fall in both years. During those periods, hydraulic retention times (HRTs) greater than 7 days provided maximum retention for Fe, Mn, and dissolved Zn. However, first-order removal models failed to fit summer, fall and winter data for almost every metal under investigation (Fe, Mn, dissolved Cu, dissolved As) suggesting that HRTs (<1–25 days) did not affect metal retention during these seasons. The metal loading to the wetland was low and the input of metals through internal loading may be more significant consequently decreasing the metal retention. Therefore, the first-order removal model is inadequate to predict metal retention on a seasonal basis. Models used to design constructed wetlands under cold climates must consider seasonal changes that affect biological as well as hydrological variables. 相似文献

This paper describes the activity period of an experimental hybrid wetland system placed in a cold climate region. The aim is to determine the efficiency of the system in reducing TSS, BOD5, COD and other pollutants. The constructed wetland consists of a fat-removal unit and a basin for the storage and the distribution of the wastewater which precedes three phytoremediation beds: the first two are parallel and they work as submerged vertical flow wetland with gravel medium for an area of 180 m2; the last is a submerged horizontal flow wetland with sand medium and an area of 360 m2. The CW was designed to process a total estimated BOD5 loading rate of about 24 g m−2 d−1, which was less than half of the average actual loading rate. The wastewater treatment did not meet the required Italian law outflow limits, most likely due to BOD5 overloading. 相似文献

Roles of oyster shells in an integrated constructed wetland system designed for P removal 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
This research aimed to investigate the applicability of an integrated constructed wetland system for P removal from low-strength wastewaters. The integrated system consisted of a constructed wetland and a post-filter unit, in series; both units were packed with oyster shells (OS) as adsorption and filtration media. Based on 1 year of operation under the overall hydraulic retention time of 3.5 days, the integrated system was found to be highly effective in removing BOD5 (92.3%), N (85.7%), P (98.3%) and total suspended solids (TSS) (94.4%) compounds, in which the constructed wetland unit was responsible for most of the treatment performance, while the post-filter unit served as a polishing unit, especially in the removal of the remaining N, P and TSS. To simulate heavy rainfall conditions, the integrated system was tested under hydraulic shock loading at the overall hydraulic retention time of 0.7 day for 14 days that represented the extreme period of high drainage flows. There were some increases of P concentrations in the post-filter effluent during the 14 days of operation up to about 5 mg/l, but these P concentrations were later decreased to about 1 mg/L after the shock loading period. These experimental results suggested the applicability of the integrated constructed wetland system which used oyster shells as adsorption and filtration media for P removal which should help to minimize eutrophication problems in receiving waters. 相似文献
