A dried differential nutrient medium for the isolation of V. cholerae has been developed. The medium is sufficiently sensitive, has pronounced differentiating properties and greatly inhibits the appearance of microbial associations. The trial of a newly developed dried selective medium for the isolation of fungi of the genus Candida, involving the inoculation of 103 museum yeast strains and 542 specimens of pathological material, has been carried out. The data obtained in this trial indicate that the proposed medium has advantages over wort agar and Sabouraud medium with antibiotics in the germination index, in the ability to ensure fungal growth after the inoculation of pathological material, and in selective properties. The medium ensures the intactness of the morpho-cultural, biochemical and serological properties of the fungi. The results of the trial recommend the newly developed preparation for laboratory practice for the isolation of yeast-like fungi from clinical material in the diagnosis of candidiasis, intestinal microflora disturbances, as well as for isolation of the fungi from various environmental objects.  相似文献

Penicillins were studied comparatively on mice with infections caused by pneumococci and streptococci. It was shown that klomethacillin was superior by its chemotherapeutic effect to other penicillins in treatment of pneumococcal septicemia when used subcutaneously or intragastrically. The effectiveness of the bacteriological study of the blood depends in many aspects on the quality of nutrient media. The currently approved nutrient media for the isolation and yield of hemocultures have low isolation rates and require prolonged time for the isolation of causative agents. A two-phase nutrient medium for the yield and isolation of hemoculture has been developed. This medium has been found to have advantages over the control "double medium" in sensitivity, yield effect, growth rate and isolation rate with respect to the causative agents of bacteriemia and sepsis. The medium is standard and ready for use. The above-mentioned advantages of the medium increase the quality of the bacteriological diagnosis of bacteriemia and sepsis.  相似文献

The fermentation medium for bleomycin biosynthesis was optimized with the help of a mathematical method for experiment modelling. With the use of the schemes of orthogonal latin squares the optimal concentrations of the sources of nitrogen, carbon and mineral salts were determined and the negative effect of cupric sulphate on the antibiotic biosynthesis was shown. The antibiotic production on the developed medium was 3.7 times higher than that on the initial medium.  相似文献

The possibility of successful use of the analitico-experimental method for the development and improvement of balanced microbiological growth media, economical in composition, has been shown. By this method a new variant of the semisynthetic medium for growing Bordetella pertussis vaccine strain has been obtained, thus making it possible to achieve a considerable increase in the yield of the biomass without decreasing the immunogenicity of the culture. The use of the balanced medium in the production of vaccines may alone give the overall economic effect totalling 11000 roubles per 10000 liters.  相似文献
