植物,尤其是克隆植物,能够通过表型变化来缓解外界压力,提高对环境的适应能力。该文研究了水生克隆植物乌菱(Trapa bicornis)对底泥磷含量(Sediment phosphorus concentration, SP)、植株密度(Plant density, PD) 及两者间交互作用的可塑性响应,探讨可塑性是否能促进其在富营养化环境中的生长。结果显示,底泥磷含量对乌菱的主菱盘叶数、同化根比根长、吸收根比根长以及叶、茎、同化根、吸收根与植株总磷含量等都有显著影响 (p<0.05),而植株密度对乌菱各生长及生理生态参数均无显著作用 (p>0.05);SP与PD的交互作用弱化了底泥磷含量对乌菱的效应。底泥磷含量和植株密度甚至改变了同化根、吸收根、茎、叶与总生物量之间的异速生长关系。研究结果表明:乌菱的表型可塑性变化主要受底泥磷含量的影响,乌菱通过器官生物量分配、形态结构及生理生态特征的调整来响应底泥磷含量的变化;同时,高的植株密度也可以提高其在富营养化生境下的生态适应性。  相似文献

Abstract Electroantennograms (EAGs1 were recorded from male adults of Melanoplus sanguinipes to foliage odours from 5 plant species and 9 volatile compounds as well as their blends. Higher EAG responses were recorded for Louisianna sage and Alfalfa foliages, compared to other three gramineous plants. Among green odour chelricals, 6-carbon alcohols (e. g. E-2-hexen-1–01 and E-3-hexen-1–01] resulted in the highest EAG responszs. No significant differences among the pentenol, 3-pentanone and blank control were observed. In ternary and quaternary mixture tests of volatile compounds, the combinations with pentenol did not elicit greater amplitudes; thus pentenol and 3-pentanone were proved to be unimportant to the response of this generalist grasshopper. The EAG data are discussed with regard to the role of host plant volatiles in host plant orientation and selection by the grasshopper.  相似文献

汉江是长江的第一大支流,是我国实施南水北调工程的重要对象。目前,有关汉江水生植物群落方面的研究尚未见报道。因此,在1998-2000年,运用植物群落学研究的理论和方法,对汉江沿途6个江段水生植物群落的结构和数量特征进行了定位研究。在汉江上游与下游各江段,群落水平分布格局为斑块状,不象湖泊或池塘系统那样表现出明显的均匀分布或带状分布特征,而在中游局部江段中表现为小范围的带状分布。群落垂直分布格局,在上游江段,以沉水层为主,浮叶层和挺水层不发达或缺乏;在中游各江段,群落表现出完整的垂直结构层次:挺水层、漂浮层、浮叶层和沉水层;在下游江段群落结构常为两层或一层结构,以浮叶层和挺水层为主,而沉水层在下游江段发育不充分且生物量很小。另上,对汉江上、中、下游的典型植物群落的数量特征进行了分析。研究表明,在汉江的不同江段,群落的组成、结构和数量特征等都不同,而水位、流速、基质状况、人为干扰是影响汉江水生植物群落生长和分布格局的主要因子。  相似文献

Neurobehavioral function deteriorates with increasing homeostatic sleep pressure during wakefulness. It has been claimed that some individuals exhibit a quicker rate of such deterioration than others, thus being more vulnerable than others to the detrimental impact of increasing homeostatic sleep pressure. Evidence supporting the claim, however, has been limited by methodological issues. To overcome these limitations, the current study used a 12-calendar-day, 28-h forced desynchrony (FD) protocol (sleep:wake period?=?1:2) to study individual differences in the rate of change in neurobehavioral performance with increasing homeostatic sleep pressure. Neurobehavioral performance was assessed with a psychomotor vigilance task and a serial addition subtraction task. A significant performance decline on both tasks was revealed within as short as 17?h of wakefulness. The rates of decline of individual performance trajectories were, however, not different from the group average rate. This suggests that individuals are not differentially vulnerable to the detrimental impact of increasing homeostatic sleep pressure. (Author correspondence: )  相似文献

本文使用触角电位技术研究了黑蝗雄虫的嗅觉反应,测试的材料包括5种植物叶片、9种植物挥发性气味化合物及它们的定量混合物。在5种植物材料中,路易斯安纳蒿和紫花苜蓿能引起更大的电位反应,而3种禾本科植物的反应相对较小。在绿色气味化合物中,6-碳醇类如E-2-hexen-l-ol和E-3-hexen-l-ol导致最高的电位反应,而pentenol、3-pentanone与空白对照间并无明显差异。在3种或4种挥发性化合物的混合物中,没有含pentenol的组合总是引起较高的电位。因此,该项研究证明pentenol和3-pentanone在这种多食性黑蝗的嗅觉定位中所起的作用不明显。另外,结合触角电位的数据资料,作者讨论了寄主植物挥发性化合物在该种蝗虫定位和选择寄主植物方面的作用。  相似文献

Slatkin's method (1981) for analyzing gene flow levels is applied to eleven species of cave arthropods. This provides insights into the strength of gene flow as a force affecting the evolution of cave organisms, while serving as a test of Slatkin's method. The results show that patterns of gene flow are consistent with the dispersal abilities and the ecological requirements of each species. Troglobites in general have lower gene flow values than troglophiles or trogloxenes. However, the geology of the area, its vegetation profile, and the geographic distance among the populations considered are also important in determining the gene flow levels. Gene flow patterns in three cave species, Ptomaphagus hirtus, Neaphaenops tellkampfii tellkampfii and Hadenoecus subterraneus, are compared in detail. These species inhabit the same highly interconnected karst area in south-central Kentucky but differ in their ecological requirements. The results suggest that gene flow levels are more dependent upon the intrinsic characteristics of each species than upon the availability of routes for dispersal. Overall estimates of gene flow were coupled with a more detailed population-structure analysis in four terrestrial cave arthropods: Speonomus delarouzeei, Hadenoecus cumberlandicus, Hadenoecus subterraneus and Euhadenoecus puteanus. The results stress the need for this type of analysis for subdivided species, in which estimates of the average gene flow can produce misleading results. Moreover, they show how these types of measures are more relevant in describing historical patterns of gene exchange than in indicating current levels of gene flow.  相似文献

SUMMARY

A method for the quantitative and qualitative determination of planktonic diatoms was developed. The method uses the Utermöhl counting technique (in which an inverted microscope is employed) as a basis but also involves the calculation of the relative density of each species in the association (as determined with the ordinary light microscope). A combination of the results thus obtained ensures that even the smallest diatoms (2,5 μm) are accounted for. These often constitute a significant proportion of the population, but are often overlooked or may not even be resolved using Utermöhl's method.  相似文献
