Cytologie Comparée de l'espèce Parthénogénétique Luffia ferchaultella Steph. et de L'espèce bisexuée L. Lapidella goeze (Lepidoptera,Psychidae)

Summary The cytology of two species of Luffia has been studied. The first one, L. lapidella, is bisexual, the second one, L. ferchaultella, parthenogenetic and derived from the first. In both species the females have a diploid number of 61 chromosomes. The male of lapidella has 62 chromosomes.The development of the fertilized egg of L. lapidella does not show any noticeable peculiarity other than the slow rate of the first meiotic division.The meiotic divisions of the parthenogenetic egg of L. ferchaultella begin normally as in lapidella but are interrupted either at the end of anaphase I or at metaphase II or anywhere between these two stages. Through various procedures the two haploid plates reunite to form a new metaphase spindle, which carries out a normal though diploid second meiotic division. The restoration of the diploid number happens therefore by means of the fusion of the first polar body with the nucleus of the oocyte II. The different procedures which lead to it have been studied and their variability examined in connection with the environment, the morphological types of the females and the geographical distribution of the species.

Stratigraphie de la série tertiaire de Casamance (Sénégal)

The micropaleontological and sedimentological analysis of the cuttings and core-samples extracted from a certain number of borings conducted seaside Casamance, western Casamance and eastern Casamance (fig. 1), enabled the researches to determine Casamance stratigraphy and paleoecology during the tertiary period. The microfauna gathered (foraminifera and ostracoda) makes it possible to characterize the biozones P1 to P15/P16 followed by the biozones N1/N2 to N14, bringing into evidence the existence of Paleogene and Neogene which are separated by a gap of changeable amplitude.The sedimentological study has revealed the presence of a certein number of landmarks and lithologic mineralogical sets which seem to be constant in the studied boring.     

Palynologie des variants androgénétiques de Nicotiana plumbaginifolia (Solanaceae)

L'examen des grains de pollen de variants androgénétiques de Nicotiana plumbaginifolia a permis d'aborder une nouvelle approche de la variabilité des plantes cultivées in vitro. En plus de la morphométrie et de la MEB, techniques classiquement utilisées en palynologie, la mise en oeuvre de la spectrométrie X à sélection d'énergie et de la microfluorométrie de la sporopollénine, a permis de mettre en évidence des différences intraspécifiques très importantes pouvant aider à la compréhension de l'installation de la variation somaclonale.

Pollen grains of androgenetic variants of Nicotiana plumbaginifolia were studied using classical methods in palynology (morphometry, SEM) and by energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry or microfluorometry of sporopollenin can allow a new advance in variability studies in conjunction with in vitro plant production. It is also more interesting to study possible relationships between palynological parameters and ploidy level.     

Gestion informatisée de la biologie délocalisée

La prise en charge par le biologiste de certaines analyses délocalisées se trouve grandement facilitée par la mise en place d’un système informatique reliant l’analyseur délocalisé et le laboratorie. Elle apporte un niveau de sécurité nécessaire pour la prise de responsabilité du laboratoire dans l’acte de biologie délocalisé. L’architecture réseau de la plupart de h?pitaux permet maintenant de transmettre très facilement et de manière fiable des données entre plusieurs services voire entre établissements. Les analyseurs de gazométrie sanguine permettent cette connexion, de plus en plus d’industriels développent d’autres paramètres en plus des simples gaz du sang comme dernièrement l’urée et la créatinine. Les analyseurs permettant de doser les marqueurs cardiaques, ceux réalisant l’hémostase sont désormais fréquemment connectables. Chaque industriel du diagnostic proposant des analyseurs de glycémie a ou va prochainement commercialiser un modèle connectable. Il en est de même pour les bandelettes urinaires. Il est donc probable, et les biologistes sont les premiers demandeurs, que la connexion informatique d’analyseurs de biologie installés dans les unités de soins, soit un pré-requis pour la gestion des analyses délocalisées par le biologiste, et sa prise de responsabilité dans les résultats biologiques issus de ces analyseurs.
