The non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs, such as an indomethacin (IND), cause mucosal ulceration and increase the mucosal vascular permeability in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Some exogenous agents, e.g. the atropine, can protect the GI mucosa against these ulcerogenic effects. The gastrointestinal functions and mucosal protection, however, are regulated by the vagal nerve. The aims of this study was to examine the dependence of atropine-induced GI cytoprotection to the vagal innervation against the development of IND-caused ulcers and microvascular damage in the mucosa of stomach and small intestine in rats. METHODS: the observations were carried out on CFY-strain rats. The mucosal damage was produced by subcutaneous administration of IND in a 20 mg/kg dose 24 h prior to the killing of animals at the same time as the start of atropine-application, which was given in a small dose (0.1 mg/kg) every 5 h. The subdiaphragmatic bilateral surgical vagotomy was done 24 h before the experiment. The vascular permeability, indicated by the microvascular endothel damage, was measured by the appearance and concentration of intravenously administered Evans blue into the GI mucosa. The number and severity of mucosal lesions and the Evans blue content of mucosa were determined in the stomach and small intestine. RESULTS: (1) The IND caused mucosal ulcers and Evans blue extravasation into the mucosa of the stomach and small intestine. (2) The IND-induced mucosal ulceration and vascular permeability significantly decreased after atropine-administration in the same parts of GI tract. (3) The extent of cytoprotective effect of atropine against the IND was decreased after bilateral surgical vagotomy. CONCLUSIONS: (1) The IND causes microvascular endothel damage in the stomach and small intestinal. (2) The atropine has a cytoprotective effect in the stomach and small intestine against the aggressive effects of IND without decrease of gastric acid secretion. (3) The intact vagal nerve is necessary to the function of cytoprotective mechanisms of atropine against the IND.  相似文献

The cytoprotective effect of a small dose of atropine was proved against the indomethacin (IND)-caused gastrointestinal (GI) mucosal damage. This protective effect of atropine disappeared in the acute phase of surgical vagotomy (ASV) on the vagally-innervated parts of GI tract. The aims of our observations were: 1) to examine the effect of chronic surgical vagotomy (CSV) on the cytoprotective action of atropine in the GI tract; and 2) to compare the effects of ASV and CSV on the GI cytoprotection caused by atropine against IND-induced mucosal damage and vascular permeability in rats. The IND was given s.c. 24 h prior to the killing of the animals in a dose of 20 mg x kg(-1). Bilateral surgical vagotomy or sham operation were carried out 24 h (ASV) or 14 d (CSV) before IND-application. Atropine was given i.p. every 5 h after IND-treatment in a dose of 0.1 mg x kg(-1). The number of macroscopical mucosal ulcerations was noted and its severity was calculated by semiquantitative scale in the stomach, small intestine and three equal parts of colon. Vascular permeability was measured by Evans-blue leakage into the mucosal tissue. It has been found that: 1) Tte small dose of atropine significantly decreased the IND-induced mucosal damage and vascular permeability on the stomach, small intestine and the vascular permeability on the proximal colon; 2) the small dose of atropine did not cause any changes in the appearance of IND-induced mucosal lesions and in Evans blue concentration in the mucosa after ASV, but it significantly decreased the IND-caused mucosal damage and Evans blue concentration in the mucosa of stomach, small intestine and proximal colon after CSV; 3) the IND-induced mucosal damage and vascular permeability treated with atropine (given in cytoprotective dose) were significantly smaller after CSV than that after ASV on the stomach, small intestine and proximal colon. It has been concluded that the intact vagal nerve has an essential role in the appearance of cytoprotective mechanisms of atropine in GI tract.  相似文献

观察黄喉拟水龟消化道的组织结构.采用常规石蜡切片和HE染色方法对黄喉拟水龟的消化道进行观察.除了口咽腔以外,消化道的管壁是由粘膜层、粘膜下层、肌肉层和外膜组成;各部分的主要区别在于粘膜层,食道和大肠的是复层柱状上皮,胃和小肠的是单层柱状上皮.黄喉拟水龟的舌桔红色,不能伸缩;食管中无食管腺,扩张性强;胃呈囊状,有大量胃腺,腔面皱襞较多;小肠较长,是消化的主要场所,表面有大量的绒毛,在绒毛中可见肠腺;大肠无绒毛,也存在皱襞.  相似文献

采用解剖学和组织学的方法对泽陆蛙消化道各部分的形态和组织学结构进行了观察。泽陆蛙的消化道分为口腔、咽、食道、胃、十二指肠、回肠和大肠。各管壁都由黏膜层、黏膜下层、肌层和外膜组成。食道黏膜层有皱褶和纤毛,无杯状细胞;胃黏膜层有杯状细胞和胃腺,黏膜下层有血管分布;小肠具绒毛、杯状细胞和肠腺,大肠皱褶少,杯状细胞也少。  相似文献

Only a small percentage of alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) administered lumenally to pigs appears in the portal circulation. This has been attributed to mucosal metabolism, and possibly by limited absorption. Although transporters for di- and tricarboxylic acids, which includes the sodium-dependent transporter NaDC-1, have been detected in the small intestine, correlations with functional assays are lacking. Therefore, intact tissues from three regions of the small intestine, stomach, and colon of weaned pigs were used to measure rates of AKG absorption. Western analysis was used to detect NaDC-1 in the three regions of small intestine. Rates of AKG absorption were highest in the small intestine, lowest in the colon, and intermediate in the stomach. Immunoreactive NaDC-1 was detected in the small intestine and this coincided with a component of AKG absorption that was inhibited by AKG and succinate. In contrast, absorption of AKG was inhibitable by unlabeled AKG, but not succinate, in the stomach, and by neither in the colon. Feeding studies indicated that the amounts of AKG that might be included in practical diets for pigs would not (1) upregulate rates of AKG absorption or (2) exceed estimated capacities of the small intestine to absorb AKG. The present findings indicate that the efficacy of AKG as an alternative metabolic fuel for enterocytes to spare dietary amino acids is not limited by absorption.  相似文献

白鲟消化道具有肉食性鱼类的典型特征,其口咽腔结构既适合捕食又适合吞食与滤食水生动物。咽后消化道可分为食道、胃后行支、胃前行支、小肠、瓣肠、直肠与肛门。幽门盲囊似一致密器官,小肠与瓣肠连接处有一特殊淋巴器官,肛门两侧有腹孔。白鲟口咽腔被覆层扁平上皮,上皮内有味蕾分布。咽后消化道组织分层为粘膜(无粘膜肌层)、粘膜下层(小肠及瓣肠前部无)、肌层与外膜。粘膜上皮为单层柱状上皮,由纤毛柱状细胞、一般柱状细胞和杯状细胞组成,其间还散在有颗粒细胞和游走细胞。食道后部与胃的一般柱状细胞为分泌粘液的细胞,肠内的一般柱状细胞为吸收细胞。胃后行支及部分前行支固有膜内有消化腺,其余各部的固有膜为致密层。小肠前中部粘膜形成蜂窝状粘膜窦,无肠腺。除食道前部肌层中有横纹肌外,其余部的肌层均为平滑肌。外膜内结缔组织有的致密有的疏松,外膜表面细胞柱状或立方形或扁平。  相似文献

Mechanical spectroscopy has been used to study the structure and properties of pig small intestinal and colonic adherent mucus gel. Both mucus secretions had properties of viscoelastic gels, but that from the small intestine was substantially weaker in quality. Small intestinal mucus gel was disrupted by acid (pH 1), detergents (bile) and protein denaturants while that from the colon remained stable following these treatments. Concentration of purified colonic mucin produced a gel with the same rheological properties as the native secretion. Purified small intestinal mucin when concentrated produced a stronger gel than the native secretion and, in contrast to the latter, one which was not disrupted by acid or denaturants. The instability of native small intestinal mucus was shown not to be a function of the mucin components (which alone could account for the gel-forming properties), but to arise from the presence of insoluble material largely from sloughed mucosal cells. These studies show (1) that mucus gels from the colon and small intestine have similar mechanical behaviour and properties to those from the stomach and duodenum, and (2) emphasise the caution that should be exercised when interpreting the rheological properties of mucus preparations, particularly with respect to their content of mucosal cellular material.  相似文献

IGF-I and IGF-II receptors are expressed in the small intestine of mammalian species, as are the genes to synthesize both peptides. IGF binding proteins are also expressed in the intestine. IGF-I and IGF-II mRNA are highest in fetal and newborn tissues and decrease with age. IGF-I mRNA is present in the adult small intestine, and is associated with the submucosal regions and crypt cells. IGF-I and IGF-II receptor binding to the small intestine is higher in newborn animals and decreases with age. Both receptors are more concentrated in the crypt than villus regions, but IGF-II binding is higher than IGF-I in all regions. IGF-I receptors are associated with the submucosal region of the small intestine, whereas IGF-II receptors are more abundant in the mucosal cells. Administration of IGF-I either orally or by osmotic pump generally has no affect on small intestinal weight or length, but does increase mucosal cellularity. LR3-IGF-I administration by osmotic pump affects the small intestine similarly to IGF-I, although with a higher potency. In the few studies in which IGF-II was administered, increased gut mass was observed in adult rats, but not newborn rats or pigs. Significant effects on mucosal expression of disaccharidases was achieved with either oral or subcutaneous IGF-I or oral IGF-II. Administration of IGF in models of intestinal hypertrophy and atrophy are also reviewed.  相似文献

The primary objectives of this study were to document the macroscopic and histological structure of the alimentary tract (AT) of the convict cichlid Amatitlania nigrofasciata, because there are no data available for this omnivorous freshwater fish of the family Cichlidae. The morphology of the AT of A. nigrofasciata resembles that of related species. While having morphological criteria of the AT typical of most omnivorous fishes, such as a blind sac stomach and medium length intestine, A. nigrofasciata also has some structural peculiarities: the oesophagus is lined by a uniform stratified squamous epithelial layer with interspersed goblet cells along its entire length. Additionally, it has well‐developed layers of the tunica muscularis including muscle fibre bundles that ascend into its mucosal folds. Occasionally, taste buds are present. In the transitional area between oesophagus and stomach, a prominent torus‐like closure device is present. The mucosa of the stomach cannot be divided into different regions according to mucosal and morphological properties. The simple pattern of intestinal loops of A. nigrofasciata has few variations, irrespective of sex, mass and length of the individual fish. The first segment of the intestine is characterized by the largest mucososerosal ratio and the most complex mucosal surface architecture. A distinction of midgut and hindgut was not possible in A. nigrofasciata due to lack of defining structural components as described for other fish species.  相似文献

The stomach of Oreochromis niloticus was divided into three distinct regions: initial, middle and terminal, corresponding roughly to the cardiac, fundic, and pyloric portions of the mammalian stomach. Grossly, the organ showed initial and terminal portions, the former connected to the distal part of the oesophagus and the latter to the proximal portion of the intestine. There was also a middle region, forming a large blind diverticulum communicating with the first two at their point of junction. The initial or cardiac region was shorter than the middle region but longer than the terminal one, and had a smooth surface devoid of gastric pits. The epithelium in this region was simple columnar devoid of goblet cells, with glandular regions in the lamina propria. The mucosa of the middle or fundic region had gastric pits lined by columnar epithelium, and simple tubular glands filled most of the lamina propria. The terminal or pyloric part of the stomach was very short and its mucosa was slightly folded and devoid of both gastric pits and mucous glandular cells. The lining epithelium of this portion of the stomach was simple columnar and a few goblet cells were seen at its junction with the first part of the intestine. The tunica muscularis of the stomach contained skeletal muscle in the initial and terminal regions, usually intermingled with smooth muscle fibres. Skeletal muscle fibres were also observed in the first portion of the small intestine, near the junction with the stomach.  相似文献

该文首次报道了商城肥鲵消化道各部分的形态结构、长度及其组织学结构。结果表明,除口腔外,消化道管壁由粘膜层、粘膜下层、肌层和浆膜层构成,消化道各部分的差别主要在粘膜层和肌层食道粘膜为复层柱状上皮,食完纵肌层,胃、肠粘膜上皮为单层柱状上皮,胃、肠肌层由内环外纵两层平滑肌组成。粘膜上皮的皱褶程度、腺体分布情况、肌层的相对厚度等在消化道各部分也存在差异。  相似文献

应用石蜡常规切片、HE染色,对马铁菊头蝠消化系统各器官的组织结构进行了观察.结果 表明:食管粘膜上皮为复层扁平上皮,轻微角质化,前、中、后段的上皮结构没有显著差异,食管腺在前段较多,中、后段较少.胃固有层含有大量的管状腺.小肠粘膜表面有许多环形皱襞,在十二指肠上段粘膜下层分布有十二指肠腺.大肠粘膜表面光滑,无绒毛,在粘膜下层的结缔组织中有小动脉、静脉和淋巴管.肝内结缔组织多,肝小叶分界较明显,肝血窦发达.胰的小叶间分界不明显.  相似文献

研制能同时诱导有效黏膜免疫和系统免疫的疫苗是预防黏膜感染病原体的理想目标。消化道具有许多产生黏膜免疫的位点,包括口腔、胃和小肠等。理想的口服病毒疫苗不仅能诱导较好的局部及远端黏膜免疫,也能产生较好的系统免疫,而且还因为具有无痛接种、可自行服用等优势而备受关注。由于人消化道环境及黏膜免疫的复杂性,目前成功上市的人口服病毒疫苗仅限于3种减毒活疫苗。本文将从消化道黏膜免疫的特点、当前口服病毒疫苗种类及研究现状、口服病毒疫苗所面临的挑战等方面进行综述,期望对我国人口服病毒疫苗的研究和开发提供参考和借鉴。  相似文献

采用组织学方法对东方铃蟾的消化道进行了研究。结果表明:肠分为十二指肠、空肠和大肠。消化道管壁由粘膜层、粘膜下层、肌层和浆膜层构成。食道、胃和肠均为单层柱状上皮。胃和十二指肠的粘膜皱褶最丰富。食道腺为复泡状腺,胃腺属于单管状腺,肠的各段无多细胞腺体,但空肠和大肠有丰富的杯状细胞。肌层均为平滑肌,内层环肌较厚,外侧纵肌较薄,其中大肠的外侧纵肌最发达。  相似文献

Epidermal growth factor (EGF), present in high concentrations in the milk of various species, is biologically active following oral administration to young animals. Although in vivo studies show gastrointestinal processing of dietary EGF during early postnatal development, the relative importance of luminal and mucosal digestion in such processing is undefined. To characterize the luminal metabolism of dietary EGF in the developing gastrointestinal tract, we incubated human recombinant 125I-EGF in vitro at 37 degrees with luminal fluid from the stomach and various segments of the small intestine of 12 day old suckling and 31 day old weanling rats and analyzed the resulting reaction products. The rate of EGF hydrolysis as determined by generation of acid soluble material was greater in weanling small intestine than in suckling, with maximal hydrolytic capacity observed in the mid-jejunum and ileum. Minimal hydrolysis was observed with stomach fluid from both age groups, and EGF retained its ability to elute as a single species on Sephadex G-25 columns and to bind to monospecific affinity columns and placental membrane receptors. Incubation with suckling small intestinal fluid produced little change in the chromatographic profile on Sephadex G-25, but a reduction in antibody and receptor binding was observed. In contrast, incubation with weanling small intestinal fluid yielded both a more pronounced loss of EGF-like material on G-25 columns and a greater reduction in receptor and antibody binding. We conclude that little luminal EGF degradation occurs in the rat stomach during the suckling and weanling periods, but that in the lumen of the small intestine breakdown increases during postnatal development.  相似文献

本研究采用组织学方法对尾斑瘰螈(Paramesotriton caudopunctatus)的消化器官进行了显微结构观察。结果表明,尾斑瘰螈食管较短,胃、肠壁组织结构分为黏膜层、黏膜下层、肌层和外膜,小肠前段的黏膜下层缺失。胃黏膜层中有许多胃腺,胃腺细胞胞质含嗜酸性颗粒。小肠前段绒毛细长密集,中段、后段逐渐短小稀疏,在黏膜层的固有膜中没有肠腺分布。肝实质中肝小叶界限不明显,肝小叶内有大量色素颗粒成团分布。  相似文献

本实验选用成年健康男性尸体和成年雄性Wistar大鼠各4例,死后迅速取胃、小肠各段组织.用免疫组织化学PAP法,对CGRP在人及大鼠胃、小肠中的分布进行了研究.结果表明:胃粘膜内可见CGRP免疫反应阳性的内分泌细胞,其数量人多于大鼠;胃、小肠各段均可见CGRP免疫反应阳性神经纤维分布;大鼠小肠粘膜下层及内环、外纵肌间可见单个存在的CGRP免疫反应阳性神经细胞.这些结果表明,胃和小肠中的CGRP有两种来源,即来源于神经和内分泌细胞.文内还对CGRP在胃和小肠中的可能功能进行了讨论.  相似文献

The morphology of the intestinal wall and the activity of certain mucosal enzyme systems in the course of neomycin treatment were evaluated. Conventional and, to study the role of the bacterial flora, germ-free rats received 500 mg neomycin daily by stomach tube. Rats were sacrificed after seven days and small intestine (proximal and distal part) together with segments of the colon were removed and prepared for histochemistry. The colon and proximal small intestine of untreated conventional and germ-free animals did not show appreciable differences in staining activity after treatment with neomycin. Neomycin diminished both in normal and germ-free rats the activity of NAD tetrazolium reductase, succinate dehydrogenase, esterase, alkaline phosphatase and acid phosphatase in the distal small intestine. The findings of this study indicate that explanations for the beneficial effects of neomycin on hyperammonemia in liver disease should not only include the bactericidal action of neomycin but also its influence on absorption and metabolic functions of the mucosal cells.  相似文献

为了解银鲳(Pampus argenteus)消化道结构特点与其功能及食性的相关性, 采用解剖、石蜡切片、AB-PAS染色及酶活性检测技术对银鲳消化道的形态、组织结构、黏液细胞分布及消化酶活性进行研究。结果显示, 银鲳的消化道由口咽腔(舌)、食道侧囊、食道、胃及肠构成, 胃肠交界处有很多幽门盲囊。食道侧囊呈椭球形, 食道粗短, 胃呈U型, 肠有多个盘曲, 肠指数为2.03。舌上皮内有少量味蕾及较多黏液细胞。食道侧囊、食道、胃及肠均由黏膜层、黏膜下层、肌层及浆膜组成。食道侧囊内皱襞较发达, 被覆复层扁平上皮, 内含较多黏液细胞, 且以Ⅳ型为主, 皱襞顶端及侧面有内含角质刺的次级突起; 黏膜下层及肌层中有固定皱襞的骨质脚根; 侧囊内胃蛋白酶活性较高。食道内皱襞较高, 被覆复层扁平上皮, 内含较多黏液细胞, 且以Ⅳ型为主。胃内皱襞发达, 被覆单层柱状上皮, 未见黏液细胞分布; 胃腺发达, 胃内蛋白酶活性较高。肠道内褶襞多, 高度呈先下降后上升趋势, 黏液细胞密度前、中肠较高, 后肠较低, 且均以Ⅰ型为主; 肠道内胰蛋白酶、脂肪酶、淀粉酶及碱性磷酸酶活性较高。幽门盲囊组织结构与肠相似。银鲳的消化道结构特点、黏液细胞分布及消化酶活性与其功能及偏肉食的杂食性相适应。  相似文献
