Seasonal and daily activity patterns of human-biting mosquitoes were studied in the lower delta of the Paraná River from March 2003 to February 2004. Monthly captures at four daytime intervals using human volunteers collected 1,289 mosquitoes belonging to 14 species and six genera, with the most frequently captured being Ochlerotatus crinifer (49%), Psorophoraferox (36%), Ochlerotatus serratus (5%), and Isostomyia paranensis (3%). Oc. crinifer was collected during the four seasons and showed higher values in Summer and Autumn. Ps. ferox and Oc. serratus were not present in Winter and the highest values were recorded in Summer. Monthly captures of Ps. ferox and Oc. serratus were positively associated with temperature. With regard to daily activity patterns, Oc. crinifer, Oc. serratus, and Ps. ferox were captured during the four collection intervals with nocturnal captures concentrated during the warm months. The daily activity patterns of these species changed throughout the seasons.  相似文献

  • 3.3. Serum total lipids were smallest in Spring (2.8 g/l) and greatest in Autumn (5.3 g/l). Triglycerides were smallest in Winter (0.18 mmol/l) and highest in Autumn (0.32 mmol/l). In calves the total lipids increased during the neonatal period.
  • 4.4. Serum epinephrine correlated with the weight, age, blood glucose and total lipids of the animals. In adult animals the lowest serum epinephrine level was found in Spring and the highest in Autumn (55 vs 190 ng/ml).
  • 5.5. Serum norepinephrine concentration and dopamine-β-hydroxylase activity were highest in Spring and decreased towards Autumn. Parturition affected these parameters significantly.
  • 6.6. The preponderance of high levels of some blood constituents in Autumn may be attributable to the replenishment of energy supplies for Winter time and also to the rutting season.
  • 7.7. T4 was smallest in Spring and highest in Summer. It was slightly greater in Winter than in Autumn. This suggests that the metabolic rate is tower in Winter than in Summer. Thus, the adaptation of the reindeer to a cold climate mainly utilizes insulation.

2006年分3个季节(春、夏、秋)对大苏干湖、小苏干湖及两湖间河道湿地鸟类物种多样性及数量的季节变动进行了调查,共记录到鸟类11目20科38属47种。其中留鸟5种,迁徙路过鸟10种,夏候鸟32种。春季共记录到24种鸟类,夏季32种,秋季30种。秋季在大苏干湖区活动的鸟类种数最多,多样性指数最大,为3.0891,而小苏干湖区的鸟类多样性指数在3个季节都较低。  相似文献

大鳍鳠鱼体能量密度及其预测模型   总被引:8,自引:1,他引:8  
于2000年11月至2001年10月由嘉陵江收集野生大鳍鳠成鱼100尾,其中冬季(12月)、春季(3月)、繁殖前(6月)、繁殖后(8月)、秋季(10月)雌雄各10尾。测定了这10个样本的鱼体能量密度及生化组成。统计分析结果表明:鱼体各生化成分含量,能量密度的性别间差异在各个季度均不显。在雌性群体中,秋季样本的蛋白质含量(16.23%),脂肪含量(5.84%),干物质含量(26.67%)和能量密度(6.14kJ/g)显高于其余各样本的相应指标。春季样本中鱼体脂肪含量和能量密度最低(2.39%,4.55kJ/g)。在雄性群体中,秋季样本的蛋白质含量(16.34%)与能量密度(5.85kJ/g)最高;春季样本中脂肪含量(1.3l%)、干物质含量(22.49%)、能量密度(4.16k.J/g)最低。各样本能量密度均分别与干物质和脂肪含量呈显的直线相关关系。通过协方差分析,将雌性群体中冬季、春季、秋季以及繁殖后样本共4个样本的能量密度与干物质含量的公共回归方程作为以干物质含量(D)预测大鳍鳠雌性群体在非繁殖期能量密度(E)的预测模型:E=-5.573 0.437D;将繁殖前雌性样本的能量密度与干物质含量的回归方程作为预测大鳍鳠雌性群体在繁殖期的能量密度的预测模型:E=-0.605 0.250D;将冬季、春季、秋季以及繁殖后雄性4个样本的能量密度与干物质含量的公共回归方程作为预测大鳍鳠雄性群体在非繁殖期的能量密度的预测模型:E=-6.046 0.456D;将繁殖前雄性样本的能量密度与干物质含量回归方程作为预测大鳍鳠雄性群体在繁殖期的能量密度的预测模型:E=-3.64 0.366D。  相似文献

Consumers perceive pork products from local breeds reared in extensive systems positively because of their specific quality properties and regional identity. The sensory, nutritional and technological qualities of these products depend, among other things, on pig production, especially its climatic conditions and the availability of feed resources, which can influence traits of muscle and fat tissue. The present study (part 1) was part of a larger project that assessed the influence of the finishing season and feeding resources on carcass and tissue traits and the quality of meat and dry-cured ham from Gascon pigs in an extensive system. Following the specifications of the Protected Designation of Origin “Noir de Bigorre”, castrated Gascon males were reared on rangelands (grassland and forest areas) and received a supplementary diet from 5 to 6 months of age until slaughter at a minimum of 12 months of age and ca. 170 kg live weight. Three finishing seasons were considered as follows: Winter (n = 18), Spring (n = 22) and Autumn (n = 23). To estimate specific effects of season on productive and quality traits and avoid bias due to effects of genes known to influence these traits, polymorphisms in the RYR1, PRKAG3, MC4R and LEPR genes were included in the analysis models. The finishing season did not influence growth rate. Compared to Winter pigs, Spring and Autumn pigs had slightly lower carcass fatness (P < 0.05), higher ultimate pH and redder and darker color of the Longissimus muscle (LM) (P < 0.01). Loin drip loss was low overall, but was higher for Spring pigs, whereas cooking loss and shear force were similar among seasons. Spring pigs tended to have the lowest LM lipid content, whereas LM myoglobin content remained unaffected. Autumn pigs had lower potential of lipid oxidation in LM than Winter and Spring pigs (P < 0.01), but muscle metabolic traits assessed via glycolytic and oxidative enzyme activities did not differ among seasons. The finishing season modified the backfat fatty acid (FA) profile, with a lower polyunsaturated FA percentage in Autumn pigs than Winter or Spring pigs (P < 0.001), even though the saturated and monounsaturated FA percentages did not differ. In particular, Spring pigs had the lowest n-6:n-3 and C18:2:C18:3 ratios (P < 0.001), as a result of grazing. Overall, Spring and Autumn finishing seasons seem more favorable to technological and sensory pork attributes, with an additional positive effect of Spring finishing on pork nutritional value.  相似文献

1997~ 1999年在皖中和皖西、皖南山区对意大利蜜蜂 (ApismelliferaLigusticaSpi.)和中华蜜蜂(ApisceranaceranaFeb .)种群数量动态进行系统观察研究 .结果表明 ,蜜蜂种群数量明显受气候和蜜粉源植物的影响 ,周年呈现“两高”(春、秋 )和两低 (夏、冬 )的变化模式曲线 ;意大利蜜蜂春繁及秋季更新速度明显快于中华蜜蜂 ,但越夏效果不及中华蜜蜂 .意大利蜜蜂的性比值为 (314.4± 2 89.9)∶1~ (32 9.4± 30 5 .8)∶1,中华蜜蜂为 (334.2± 2 35 .5 )∶1~ (413 .1± 377.2 )∶1,雄蜂呈季节性出现 .蜜蜂种群内年龄组配在不断变化 .  相似文献

The seasonal cycle and population dynamics of Schizotetranychus nanjingensis Ma and Yuan, Aponychus corpuzae Rimando (Tetranychidae), Aculus bambusae Kuang (Eriophyidae) and their natural enemy Typhlodromus bambusae Ehara (Phytoseiidae) were studied during 1996–1998 in moso bamboo forests in Nanping, Fujian, China. Damage to bamboo leaves was often caused by mixed populations of the three phytophagous species, which displayed different seasonal dynamics: S. nanjingensis fed actively and reproduced in May and from late July to late October (aestivating from June to mid July), Ap. corpuzae was active and reproduced from mid July to late November, and Ac. bambusae from July to next February. During Spring S. nanjingensis was the dominant species with the greatest niche width, but in Summer Ac. bambusae and Ap. corpuzae became dominant and had greater niche widths. In Autumn, Ac. bambusae decreased but both S. nanjingensis and Ap. corpuzae mites increased and the latter became dominant. In winter all species decreased sharply in number. The two spider mite species (S. nanjingensis and Ap. corpuzae) had high niche overlaps in all four seasons. Niche overlaps between the eriophyid Ac. bambusae and the two spider mites were similarly high except during the spring when Ac. bambusae was absent. The predatory mite (T. bambusae) had higher niche overlap with Ap. corpuzae than with others during Autumn and Winter, but during Spring and Summer niche overlap was higher with S. nanjingensis.  相似文献

Data on activity budgets and ranging patterns were collected from March to December 2001 for one group of François’ langurs (Trachypithecus francoisi) inhabiting a forested part of the Fusui Nature Reserve, Guangxi province, China. Our results indicate that the total size of the home range of the study group during the study period was 19 ha. The majority of their activities (52%) occurred within a small area, 22%, of their home range, and was concentrated in or near quadrats containing their sleeping sites, which may reduce the time and energetic cost of travel. The extent of the ranging behavior varied between months, with the smallest, 7 ha, recorded in July and the largest, 13.5 ha, in November. There was no significant difference between seasons. The monthly mean daily path lengths varied from 341 to 577 m. The daily path lengths showed significant seasonal changes: the path lengths were longer during the dry season than in the rainy season, which may be related to the scarcity of preferred food resources during the dry season.  相似文献

以浙江省安吉县毛竹(Phyllostachys edulis)林生态系统为研究对象,利用涡度相关技术进行观测,获取2011年毛竹林的水汽通量数据,同时结合常规气象观测数据,分析了水汽通量全年变化。结果表明:毛竹林全年水汽通量基本为正值,月尺度上,水汽通量呈单峰型变化趋势,且各月的最大值均在12:00—14:00出现,呈现一定规律性,7月(0.1116 g m-2s-1)最高,12月(0.0209 g m-2s-1)最低;季节尺度上,夏季最高(0.0873 g m-2s-1),呈现典型单峰型变化趋势,春秋季(均为0.0541 g m-2s-1)次之,变化特征与夏季相似,冬季最低(0.0221 g m-2s-1),曲线变化复杂,波动较大。毛竹林全年蒸散量占全年降水量48.26%。2、4、5、11、12月蒸散量略大于降水量,其余月份蒸散量均小于降水量,6月份降水量与蒸散量差别最大。季节尺度上,对毛竹林水汽通量与净辐射进行回归关系分析,夏季最大,R2为0.6111,秋季为0.5295,春季为0.2605,冬季最小0.0455。通过F检验,水汽通量与净辐射有极显著线性关系。在植物生长期,毛竹林水汽通量随饱和水汽压差的增大而增大,植物发育成熟后,当饱和水汽压差增大到一定程度时,其增大反而抑制了水分的蒸散。  相似文献

研究了大鳍鳠和瓦氏黄颡鱼血液学指标的季节变化及种间差异,旨在为探讨三峡工程所引起的环境变化,对两种鱼所产生的生理生态学影响提供基础资料。于2002年9月至2003年6月期间,分春、夏、秋和冬4个季节在嘉陵江水土镇以下江段共采集大鳍鳠111尾,瓦氏黄颡鱼124尾。测定了这两种鱼的红细胞数量、血红蛋白含量、平均红细胞血红蛋白含量、血清葡萄糖浓度、血清甘油三酯浓度和血清总蛋白浓度等6项血液学指标。结果表明,两种鱼的多项血液学指标均存在显著的季节间差异,血液指标的变化趋势并不是随水温的升高而升高。繁殖期两种鱼的血清甘油三酯浓度均显著降低。两种鱼的血清葡萄糖和甘油三酯浓度存在种间差异,瓦氏黄颡鱼的血清葡萄糖和甘油三酯浓度均显著高于大鳍鳠。  相似文献

用Shannon-Wiever多样性指数、Pielous种类均匀度、Margalef种类丰度、McNaushton优势度4个测定群落种类多样性指标进行数值分析.结果表明,嵊泗列岛从近岸到外海.H’(S)、J、d值呈现逐渐增加的趋势.而D值则有逐渐减小的趋势;各断面多样性指数H’(S)以春、秋季较高,J值则基本上以春、冬季稍高,d值则随断面的不同有差异,D值基本上以夏、秋季为高用Whiftaker和Fairbanks群落系数计算公式及Bray-Curtis群落相似性指数进行群落相似性及聚类分析,结果表明,嵊泗列岛潮间带底栖动物群落结构可聚为两大类型,从结构上看.近外海底栖动物群落为近岸及外海群落的过渡类型.  相似文献

The distribution of resources is a crucial determinant of animals' space use (e.g., daily travel distance, monthly home range size, and revisitation patterns). We examined how variation in ecological parameters affected variability in space use patterns of western lowland gorillas, Gorilla gorilla gorilla. They are an interesting species for investigating this topic because key components of their diet are nonfruit items (herbaceous vegetation and tree leaves) that occur at low density and are sparsely distributed, and fruits, which show high spatiotemporal variation in availability. We estimated how availability of nonfruit foods and fruit, frugivory (proportion of feeding time consuming fruit), and swamps in areas used by the gorillas influenced daily travel distance, monthly home range size, and revisit frequency to grid cells in the home range of one habituated gorilla group in Loango National Park, Gabon. Using location data from 2015 to 2018, we found that the gorillas decreased their daily travel distance as both the density of nonfruit foods and the proportion of swamps in areas used increased. Daily travel distances were shorter when both frugivory and availability of fruit were higher, yet, daily travel distances were longer when availability of fruit was low but frugivory was still high. Furthermore, monthly home range size increased as frugivory increased and monthly revisit frequencies to an area increased as fruit availability of an area increased. In conclusion, the availability of both nonfruit and fruit influenced the gorillas' space use patterns. Gorillas decreased foraging effort when food availability was high but were willing to incur increasing foraging costs to feed on fruit when availability was low. This study highlights how animals have to adjust their space use with changing resource availability and it emphasizes the value of examining multiple parameters of space use.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to describe seed dispersal patterns of woolly monkeys (Lagothrix lagothricha) in terms of dispersal quantity and two factors related to dispersal quality: germination rates of dispersed seeds and the distance of dispersal to parental trees. The possible influence of retention time, travel distance, seed size, activity patterns, and fruit abundance on dispersal distance was also analyzed. Observations on activity, diet, daily movements, and seed dispersal were made on focal individuals of a group of woolly monkeys at a tropical rain forest in Tinigua National Park (Colombia). Sixty hours of focal samples per month were completed during 1 year. A total of 753 depositions were collected during the study. Each dropping contained seeds from an average of 2.68 different species (range 0 to 9). Collected depositions contained an underestimated total of 50,168 seeds (>1 mm). Given a population density of 30 individuals/km2, the woolly monkeys in the study area disperse more than 25,000 seeds/km2/day. These seeds belong to 112 different plant species. Germination rates of dispersed seeds are usually similar or higher than those of non-swallowed seeds. It was possible to determine dispersal distance in 264 cases when the focal animal was continuously followed from ingestion at the parental tree to deposition. Only 1% of these depositions landed in close proximity (<15 m) of the parental tree. It was very common that the droppings were deposited between 100 and 500 m from the parent tree, and up to 1.5 km. Higher retention times and longer travel distances were not correlated with increased dispersal distance. Two main reasons for this result were the prolonged and variable passage rates (avg=11.2 hr+/-6.5 SD.) and the circuitous routes of monkeys in this forest.  相似文献

为了探讨放牧生态系统草畜间动态关系 ,缓减草畜营养供需的季节性不平衡 ,分别在高山草地春、夏、秋和冬季 ,进行了绵羊消化代谢试验 .结果表明 ,春季牧草消化能、粗蛋白质含量及粗蛋白质 消化能比值最高 ,分别为 9.76MJ、2 1.5 3%和 2 2 .0 6 g·MJ-1,有效能不足 ;高山草地牧草产量低 ,绵羊采食干物质量最低 (6 0 .5 1± 3.4 2 g·W0 .75kg-1·d-1) ;应补充饲料 ,尤其补饲能量饲料 .夏季牧草粗蛋白质 消化能比值为 17.6 2g·MJ-1,偏高 ,能量仍略显不足 ;补饲能量饲料 ,可提高绵羊对牧草N的利用率 .秋季与其它 3季牧地相比 ,草畜间的营养供需较平衡 ,放牧能满足绵羊的营养需要 ,其体内N存留率较高 .冬季牧草质差 ,消化能、粗蛋白质含量最低 ,分别为 4 .30MJ、4 .6 3% ,绵羊干物质采食量亦低 ,N代谢呈负平衡 ,应补饲干物质、有效能及粗蛋白质不足的部分 .为改善此现状 ,要实行季节畜牧业 ,建立植物生产与动物生产的耦合系统  相似文献

数量庞大、体积微小、高度多样化的浮游生物对淡水生态系统功能具有重要影响。为探究中国第一大淡水湖——鄱阳湖浮游动物(包括轮虫、枝角类和桡足类)群落特征及其与环境因子之间的关系,本研究在鄱阳湖设置50个采样点,分别于2017年8月(夏季)、11月(秋季)、2018年2月(冬季)和5月(春季)进行浮游动物群落与生境调查,统计分析结果表明:鄱阳湖浮游动物共记录43属99种,其中轮虫31属83种,枝角类8属11种,桡足类4属5种,春夏季节种类较为丰富。浮游动物平均丰度为1155.29 ind./L,具有极显著的季节差异(P< 0.01),夏季(3150.37 ind./L)显著高于其他三季。四季共确定优势种14种,轮虫中优势度最高的为广布多肢轮虫(Polyarthra vulgaris),浮游甲壳动物中仅有简弧象鼻溞(Bosmina coregoni)在秋季形成优势。优势种的季节更替明显,夏秋季节间的更替率(86.00%)高于其他季节(77.00%,66.67%)。优势种、多样性和均匀度的结果均显示鄱阳湖浮游动物群落结构较复杂,具有较好的稳定性。聚类分析(Cluster analysis)和分类回归树分析(Classification and regression trees, CART)表明,每个季节均有多种群落类型,其中春夏两季中浮游动物群落类型的划分与叶绿素a(Chlorophyll a,Chla)密切相关,化学需氧量(Chemical Oxygen Demand,COD)是影响秋季群落划分的关键环境因子。非度量多维尺度分析(Non-metric multidimensional scaling,NMDS)结果表明,温度(Water Temperature,WT)、Chla、电导率(Conductivity,Cond)是造成四季浮游动物群落显著差异的最主要环境因子。冗余分析(Redundancy analysis,RDA)显示,除Chla外,总氮(Total Nitrogen,TN)、总固体悬浮物(Total Suspended Solids,TSS)和酸碱度(Hydrogen ion concentration,pH)也是影响浮游动物群落结构和优势种分布的重要因素。  相似文献

Summary The mean annual population density of enchytraeids in the litter and upper 6 cm of soil was found to be 14,590 m-2. Mean individual weights approximated 116, 158 and 151 g wet wt. in the litter, 0–3 cm and 3–6 cm strata respectively. The mean biomass was estimated to be 1.908 g wet wt m-2. Vertical migration was shown to occur, the upward migration in late Autumn was a response to temperatures in the litter being temporarily higher than those of the 0–3 cm stratum. As a result of upward vertical migration and possibly recruitment, numbers reached a maximum in the litter during Winter. On an annual basis the litter, 0–3 and 3–6 cm strata contained 41.43, 46.44 and 12.12% respectively of the extracted enchytraeids. The equivalent biomass values were 33.18, 52.46 and 14.36%. Total numbers and biomass revealed a general picture of high values in late Autumn to Winter which gradually decreased through Spring and Summer except for a minor peak in May–June. The annual oxygen consumption of the enchytraeids approximated 4.285 l O2 m-2 yr-1 (20.461 kcal85.610 kJ) and accounted for 1.63% of the total soil metabolism. A production/biomass (P/B) ratio of 4.93 was estimated as was a net population efficiency of 32%. For this site the contribution by enchytraeids to total soil respiration is about one-third that of the earthworms and an order of magnitude greater than that of the nematodes.  相似文献

目的:对广东湛江红树林保护区大型底栖动物群落结构及其与红树植物群落、环境因子的关系进行分析。方法:用大型多元统计软件PRIMER对采样调查的数据进行分析。结果:种群的相对重要性存在着地点和季节的差异。聚类和非参数多变量标序分析显示,大型底栖动物群落结构存在季节差异;相似性分析检验表明动物群落结构季节间差异极显著(P〈0.01),不同剖面的动物群落结构差异也极显著(p〈0.01);相关检验分析表明,群落结构季节间存在显著的正相关关系(P〈0.05)。相似性百分比分析表明由于某些大型底栖动物优势种的数量存在较大的季节波动,造成群落结构季节间的差异。相关检验分析表明两个红树剖面春季和夏季大型底栖动物的种类丰度和生物量均与对应的红树植物群落特征、环境因子测定值呈显著或极显著相关(P〈0.05或P〈0.01);生物一环境分析显示,两个红树剖面的大型底栖动物群落结构均与土壤机械组成、pH、盐分、有机质含量、湖位线和红树植物群落相关。结论:研究表明,季节、底质、潮位线和红树植物群落是影响大型底栖动物群落结构变化的主要因子。  相似文献

根据夏季和秋季在台湾海峡进行的底拖网调查数据,分析了台湾海峡游泳动物资源密度指数分布及群落结构.结果表明,台湾海峡夏季平均资源密度指数高于秋季,分别为8.50和6.94kg·h-1;夏秋季出现游泳动物种类分别为80种和91种,秋季丰富度、多样性、均匀度均高于夏季,夏秋季平均多样性指数分别为2.0466和2.3964;相对重要性指数IRI大于200的优势种夏季有5种,为带鱼、发光鲷、短尾大眼鲷、花斑蛇鲻、中国枪乌贼,秋季有6种,为带鱼、七星底灯鱼、刺鲳、中国枪乌贼、蓝圆、鹿斑鲾;夏季优势种的聚集强度比秋季强.  相似文献
