根田鼠消化道长度和重量的变化及其适应意义   总被引:25,自引:10,他引:25  
动物消化道的形态与食性、食物质量以及动物量的需求密切相关。本文对青海高原地区的根田鼠在自然环境中消化道各器官的长度及重量进行了测定,结果显示总消化道及各器官(胃、小肠、大肠和盲肠)的长度,含内容物重(鲜重和干重)在各物侯期间具显著的变化,各项指标均于环境条件较好的植物生长盛期最低,于条件较差(食物纤维素含量高及低温)的植物枯黄期或返青期较高。各器官所反应程度不同,其中小肠的反应最为强烈,表明消化道  相似文献

采用He-O2混合诱导方法测定了高原鼠兔(Ochotona curzoniae)和根田鼠(Microtus oeconomus)的最大代谢率(MMR)。高原鼠兔的最大代谢率在夏季和冬季分别为5.93(体重为118g)和6.33(体重为115.8g)mlO2/g.h,而根田鼠在夏季和冬季分别为12.70(体重为27.8g)和18.29(体重为17.5g)mlO2/g.h,并且根田鼠的最大代谢率的变化幅度大于高原鼠兔,存在种间差异。MMR季节变化的不显著性来源于动物环境温度在夏季较低,而在冬季为越冬亦采用行为调节等其它机制。栖于青藏高原的高原鼠兔和根田鼠同时受到低温和低氧的腔迫,而两者对最大代谢率作用相反,导致两种动物的最大代谢率与各自期望值相比差异不大。  相似文献

以线粒体细胞色素b基因序列(Cyt b)为分子标记,结合系统发育分析(最大似然法和贝叶斯法)和遗传距离统计(JC遗传距离模型)等方法,分析青藏高原东部地区田鼠类动物的物种组成和地理分布特征。从16个样点共采集到189个田鼠样品,成功获得所有个体的Cyt b全序列,长度为1 143 bp,共检测到248个变异位点和65个单倍型。系统发育分析显示,最大似然树和贝叶斯树的结构基本一致,将65个单倍型分为三组(G1-G3),分别与已知的柴达木根田鼠(Microtus limnophilus)、青海松田鼠(Neodon fuscus)和高原松田鼠(N. irene)聚为单系群,支持率都为100%。遗传距离统计显示,G1、G2、G3组内两两单倍型之间的遗传距离范围分别为0.09%~3.04%、0.09%~0.70%、0.18%~1.95%;同时,G1与柴达木根田鼠参考序列之间、G2与青海松田鼠参考序列之间、G3与高原松田鼠参考序列之间遗传距离范围分别为0.61%-2.49%、0.53%-0.97%、1.77%-2.22%。结合系统发育和遗传距离分析结果,本研究中采集到的田鼠个体可以鉴定为3个物种:柴达木根田鼠(n = 135)、青海松田鼠(n = 30)和高原松田鼠(n = 24)。其中,柴达木根田鼠分布最广(10个地点),青海松田鼠(4个地点)和高原松田鼠(3个地点)的分布区则相对狭小;3种动物在分布区上重叠度很小,仅河南县同时发现有柴达木根田鼠和青海松田鼠分布。研究表明,青藏高原东部地区至少有3种田鼠分布,种间遗传界限清晰,空间分布具有一定规律性。研究结果为了解青藏高原东部地区田鼠类动物的物种分布提供可靠的基础资料,同时,为这一地区的田鼠类动物的分子鉴定方法提供参考。  相似文献

目的:优化迟发性面瘫的建模方法,并对药物的神经保护作用进行观察。方法:家兔48只共96侧面神经,分A、B、C、D4个实验组,以一侧面神经进行实验处理,另一侧为自身对照。A组:直视下钳夹损伤桥池段面神经;B组:直视下向桥小脑角注射动脉血,以诱导血管痉挛;C组:处理因素=A组+B组;D组:在C组基础上,应用药物(强的松+丹参+维生素BI+维生素B12)干预。观察家兔面瘫,并做面神经病理切片,比较各组间迟发性面瘫发生率、面瘫持续时间及预后。结果:面瘫发生情况:A组6只家兔(6/11,54.5%)出现迟发性面瘫;平均面瘫持续时间为13.2天。B组有2只(2/12,16.7%)出现迟发性面瘫,平均持续8天。C组6只(6/12,50%)家兔出现迟发性面瘫,平均持续14.3天。D组4只(4/12,33.33%)出现迟发性面瘫,平均持续6天。所有自身对照侧均无面瘫发生。病理:各组均见神经纤维水肿;A、c两组呈高度水肿改变,神经束周围结构紊乱;B组见神经内血管细小,而水肿较A、C两组轻微;D组呈轻度水肿改变。结论:C组出现迟发性面瘫几率高,是较好的模型;联合应用强的松、丹参、维生素B1、维生素B12虽不能防止迟发性面瘫发生,但可使迟发性面瘫病程明显缩短。  相似文献

在15~30℃温度范围内, 运用踏车呼吸室以5 m/min, 10 m/min 和15 m/min 的运动速度, 对栖息于青海高原的根田鼠的代谢率、体温、蒸发失水进行了测定, 并计算了每个温度和运动速度时的热传导率。根田鼠的体温在任一速度时, 随环境温度的增加而增加, 当环境温度一定时, 体温随运动强度而升高, 代谢率随运动速度增加而增加。活动产热在低温条件下, 可能是对寒冷产热的替代, 而在比较缓和的温度时, 可能是对冷诱导产热的附加。温度一定时, 蒸发失水随运动速度增加而增加, 热传导也呈相似的变化趋势(15℃除外)。热传导在任一运动速度下, 随环境温度增加而增加。结果表明蒸发散热在高温或活动期间对根田鼠的体温调节有不可替代的作用。  相似文献

植物组织空间排列对植食性哺乳动物功能反应的作用,是觅食生态学的热点问题之一。以新鲜紫花苜蓿叶片为食物,改变苜蓿叶片大小调控根田鼠口量,改变叶片间距调控叶片密度,设置叶片空间异质性斑块。在空间异质性斑块上测定根田鼠的觅食行为及其参数,检验植食性哺乳动物4种功能反应模型的预测性。除复合模型参数Rmax、h和Vmax及口量模型参数Rmax的最大似然估计值与测定值近似外,其它模型参数的估计值与测定值均存在较大差异。根田鼠摄入率测定值与4种模型预测值的线性回归均显著(P0.01),但与复合模型预测值的线性拟合效果最佳。表明,复合模型能很好地解释根田鼠觅食与行走的竞争对摄入率调节的动态。根田鼠复合模型存在调节其功能反应机制转变的距离临界值(d)。叶片间距大于该值时,叶片密度调节摄入率;叶片间距小于该值时,口量调节摄入率。结果充分地验证了提出的特定假设:在植物密集条件下,植物大小能调节植食性小型哺乳动物根田鼠的摄入率;在植物稀疏条件下,植物密度调节其摄入率。  相似文献

在实验室条件下,测定了根田鼠对单宁酸的解毒代价。结果表明,在食物蛋白质为10%的条件下,摄食3%和6%单宁酸食物的根田鼠经尿液分泌的葡萄糖醛酸较对照组分别增加13.77%和38.80%;与对照组比较,在食物蛋白质为20%的条件下,摄食3%和6%单宁酸食物的实验个体尿液分泌的葡萄糖醛酸分别增加6.11%和22.25%。在食物蛋白质为10%时,用3%和6%单宁酸食物处理的个体,其尿液NH4^ —N含量较对照组个体分别增加51.69%和198.44%。在食物中蛋白质为20%时,摄食3%和6%单宁酸食物的试验个体,其尿液中的NH4^ —N含量分别较对照组高1.72%和74.19%。由此说明,单宁酸能显著增加根田鼠尿液葡萄糖醛酸分泌量,根田鼠尿液的NH4^ —N的含量随食物单宁酸增加而增高,从而增加动物机体对单宁酸的代谢价。  相似文献

The present study was designed to examine whether photoperiod alone was effective to induce seasonal regulations in physiology in root voles (Microtus oeconomus) from the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau noted for its extreme cold environment. Root voles were randomly assigned into either long photoperiod (LD; 16L:8D) or short photoperiod (SD; 8L:16D) for 4 weeks at constant temperature (20 degrees C). At the end of acclimation, SD voles showed lower body mass and body fat coupled with higher energy intake than LD voles. SD greatly enhanced thermogenic capacities in root voles, as indicated by elevated basal metabolic rate (BMR), nonshivering thermogenesis (NST), mitochondrial protein content and uncoupling protein-1 (UCP1) content in brown adipose tissue (BAT). Although no variations in serum leptin levels were found between SD and LD voles, serum leptin levels were positively correlated with body mass and body fat mass, and negatively correlated with energy intake and UCP1 content in BAT, respectively. To summarize, SD alone is effective in inducing higher thermogenic capacities and energy intake coupled with lower body mass and body fat mass in root voles. Leptin is potentially involved in the photoperiod induced body mass regulation and thermogenesis in root voles.  相似文献

验证了单宁酸能引起植食性哺乳动物钠平衡的假设.在两种食物蛋白质水平条件下,测定了摄食含0%,3%和6%单宁酸食物的根田鼠的钠平衡和肾上腺肾小球的大小.结果表明,食物单宁酸能显著影响根田鼠的钠平衡,钠的丢失主要通过尿液.同时,单宁酸能显著影响试验个体的肾上腺肾小球的体积.初步研究显示,植食性哺乳动物对摄入的植物次生化合物的解毒引起机体钠平衡失调,而非植物次生化合物的消化抑制作用所致.  相似文献

寄生物是调节小哺乳动物种群波动的因子之一。许多生物和非生物因子可影响寄生物的感染。本研究以根田鼠为对象,在野外围栏条件下测定了根田鼠肠道寄生物种类及其感染率,并分析了根田鼠建群者数量、性别、年龄及时间对寄生物感染率的影响。结果表明,根田鼠肠道寄生物有球虫、线虫和绦虫,球虫是主要寄生物, Eimeria wenrichi 为球虫中的优势种;其感染率随根田鼠建群者数量增加而增加,且随时间而显著变化。在根田鼠幼体中,高密度处理组E. wenrichi 的感染率显著高于低密度处理组,而根田鼠幼体的E. ochrogasteri 感染率显著高于成体。本研究未发现根田鼠性别间的球虫感染率差异。上述结果说明,在根田鼠种群中,球虫感染率有时间变化,且受宿主密度的制约,高密度种群引起的生前应激与当前密度制约性感染可能对球虫感染率具有耦合效应。  相似文献

We used laboratory feeding trials to test the palatability of silver birch Betula pendula seedlings to root voles Microius oeconomus Seedlings of two B pendula families (A and B) were grown in growth chambers on three soil types and under two light intensities. Seedlings from family A grew taller and had more resin droplets on their bark than seedlings from family B The more light or nutrients the seedlings received the taller they grew and the more resm droplets they had on their bark We offered 10 root voles both basal and top 5–10 cm segments of winter-dormant seedlings one treatment at a time (no-choice arrangement) in a random order The seedlings grown on low-fertility soil were eaten more than those grown on non-fertilized or fertilized peat The top segments of seedlings grown in low light were slightly more eaten than those grown in high light Birch family did not have any effect on the consumption Consumption correlated negatively with the amount of resin droplets on the bark when the seedling material was compared over different treatments These results indicate that root voles would prefer young birch seedlings that have low amount of resin droplets on the bark and that grow in poor soils or under low light conditions  相似文献

Although the biological significance of individual variation in physiological traits is widely recognized, studies of their association with fitness in wild populations are surprisingly scarce. We investigated the effect of individual phenotypic variation in body mass, resting (RMR) and peak metabolic rates (PMR) on mortality of the root vole Microtus oeconomus. Body mass and metabolic rates varied significantly among consecutive years and were also age dependent, as individuals born in late summer and autumn were characterized by significantly lower body mass and metabolic rates than animals born earlier. At the beginning of winter voles born in spring and early summer exhibited reduced body mass and metabolic rates, whereas animals born later maintained lower body mass and RMR, which may be interpreted as phenotypic plasticity enhancing the probability of survival. Body mass had no significant effect on vole survival during summer. In contrast, smaller individuals were characterized by lower mortality during early winter, whereas higher body mass was positively associated with survival later in the season. High body‐mass‐corrected RMR positively affected survival in both summer and winter. The effect of PMR was apparent only during winter, though its direction (and correlation with RMR) varied among years. Deep snow cover negatively affected the survival of voles in both early and late winter. Ambient temperature was positively associated with winter survival, except for late winter, when rising temperature caused flooding of vole habitat. We conclude that the lack of consistency in the directionality and strength of the effects of body mass and metabolic rates on winter survival does not undermine their importance, but rather demonstrates the ability of individuals to adjust metabolic rate to changing environmental conditions. © 2014 The Linnean Society of London, Biological Journal of the Linnean Society, 2014, 113 , 297–309.  相似文献

Two geographically distinct strains of Microtus oeconomus, each consisting of an inbred (sibling mating) and an outbred treatment group, were bred in the laboratory over three generations to determine the effects of inbreeding on reproductive parameters, growth rates of young and paternal behavior The southern strain (orginating from southern Norway) suffered from depressed reproductive rate (litter size and pregnancy rates) most likely due to inbreeding, while no effects of inbreeding were detected m the northern strain (originating from northern Norway) This result questions previous generalizations about inbreeding tolerance at the species level for Microtus Growth rates and paternal behavior did not differ significantly between inbred and outbred voles in either strain Inbreeding depression rather than inbreeding avoidance is the most likely mechanism behind the depression in reproductive parameters of inbred southern voles This is suggested by the decrease in the proportion of breeding pairs with the number of generations of inbreeding, and by the reduced litter size of inbred compared with outbred pairs Field and laboratory studies have shown that behavioral and demographic traits, possibly related to the degree of inbreeding, differ between the two strains which suggests that inbreeding tolerance might be a life history adaptation  相似文献

We examined the effects of temperature and photoperiod on metabolic thermogenesis and the thermogenic characteristics of brown adipose tissue in plateau pikas (Ochotona curzoniae) and root voles (Microtus oeconomus), the dominant species of small mammals in the alpine meadow ecosystems on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. Pikas and voles were acclimated in the following groups: (1) Long day – warm temperature (16L:8D, 23 °C), (2) Long day – cold temperature (16L:8D, 5 °C), (3) short day – warm temperature (8L:16D, 23 °C), and (4) short day – cold temperature (8L:16D, 5 °C). Both temperature and photoperiod were important environmental cues for changes in thermogenesis for both species. Low temperature and short photoperiod induced increases in metabolic rate, nonshivering thermogenesis (NST), mitochondrial protein contents of brown adipose tissue, and cytochrome C oxidase activity of brown adipose tissue mitochondria in both species. Plateau pikas were more sensitive to cold (79% of the total NST response) than to short photoperiod (21%), while root voles were more sensitive to short photoperiod (60% of the total NST response) than to cold (40%), although cold clearly enhanced thermogenesis. Their thermogenic characteristics correlated with their preferred habitats: plateau pikas are found mainly in more exposed microhabitats in open sunny meadow, while root voles live in more sheltered microhabitats in relatively closed shrub. Our results also showed that temperature and photoperiod combined induce thermogenic adjustments in both species in seasonal acclimatization in their alpine meadow macrohabitat. 在自然生态系统中,不同营养级物种可通过特征介导间接效应对生态系统的稳定及种群产生深刻的影响。但目前有关特征介导间接效应的实验研究多见于无脊椎动物、鱼类和两爬类。本研究以根田鼠为对象,在野外围栏内建立预防捕食者和未预防捕食者两种实验处理种群,并通过采用麦克马斯特法测定两种处理种群实验个体肠道寄生物感染种类及感染率和感染强度,采用PHA(phytohemagglutinin)反应和白细胞分类计数测定不同处理种群实验个体免疫能力,以分析捕食风险对根田鼠肠道寄生物的感染效应。结果表明,未预防捕食者处理组根田鼠PHA反应、白细胞计数和淋巴细胞计数较预防捕食者处理组实验个体显著降低,而球虫 E. wenrichi 的感染率和感染强度则显著增加,但绦虫和线虫以及其他3种球虫的感染率和感染强度无显著差异。结果表明,捕食者可通过介导猎物免疫力特征而间接影响猎物肠道寄生物的感染,验证了本项提出的捕食风险可通过降低根田鼠的免疫能力而增加其肠道寄生物感染的假设。  相似文献
