We assessed the impact of species composition and stand structure on the spatial variation of forest carbon density using data collected from a 4-ha plot in a subtropical forest in southern China. We found that 1) forest biomass carbon density significantly differed among communities, reflecting a significant effect of community structure and species composition on carbon accumulation; 2) soil organic carbon density increased whereas stand biomass carbon density decreased across communities, indicating that different mechanisms might account for the accumulation of stand biomass carbon and soil organic carbon in the subtropical forest; and 3) a small number of tree individuals of the medium- and large-diameter class contributed predominantly to biomass carbon accumulation in the community, whereas a large number of seedlings and saplings were responsible for a small proportion of the total forest carbon stock. These findings demonstrate that both biomass carbon and soil carbon density in the subtropical forest are sensitive to species composition and community structure, and that heterogeneity in species composition and stand structure should be taken into account to ensure accurate forest carbon accounting.  相似文献

为了研究亚热带典型常绿阔叶林和亚热带山顶矮林的物种组成和群落结构,在广东石门台国家自然保护区内分别建立了1 hm2亚热带典型常绿阔叶林样地和1 hm2亚热带山顶矮林样地,以样地内所有胸径(DBH)≥1 cm的乔木、灌木和藤本为研究对象,分析两种森林类型的物种组成、密度、径级和株高结构。结果显示:(1)两种森林的Srensen物种相似性指数为0.41,优势种不同,但优势科却较相似;其中,茶科和杜鹃花科在两种森林中所占比例较高;(2)亚热带典型常绿阔叶林的幼苗(1 cm≤DBH〈2.5 cm)和幼树(2.5 cm≤DBH〈12.5 cm)密度都显著小于亚热带山顶矮林,但两种森林的小树(12.5 cm≤DBH〈25 cm)和大树(DBH≥25 cm)密度均无显著差异;亚热带典型常绿阔叶林幼苗和大树的平均胸径都显著大于亚热带山顶矮林,而幼树的平均胸径则显著小于亚热带山顶矮林,小树的平均胸径无显著差异;亚热带典型常绿阔叶林中小树和大树的平均高度都显著大于亚热带山顶矮林,而幼苗的平均高度显著小于亚热带山顶矮林,幼树的平均高度无显著差异。综合分析表明,亚热带典型常绿阔叶林和亚热带山顶矮林的物种组成、密度、胸径和高度结构差异较大,亚热带典型常绿阔叶林群落稳定性强于亚热带山顶矮林。  相似文献

落叶栎林是桂西地区南亚热带的典型次生林,也是该区域落叶阔叶林的重要群系组。该研究采用典型样方法对桂西地区落叶栎林群落进行调查,分析了该区域落叶栎林群落的物种组成、区系成分、物种多样性特征及其与地形因子的关系,为桂西地区南亚热带植物多样性保护与恢复提供依据。结果显示:(1)研究区落叶栎林群落维管束植物共计269种,隶属80科178属。(2)种子植物区系以热带成分为主,同时表现出一定程度的温带过渡性质。(3)聚类分析表明,调查的落叶栎林群落可分为云南波罗栎林、栓皮栎林、白栎林、麻栎林4种林分类型,其中以白栎林群落的物种多样性最高,且灌木层的物种多样性显著高于乔木层和草本层。(4)RDA分析显示,落叶栎林群落不同层次物种多样性的差异受地形因子的影响,多样性指标与经度、纬度、海拔之间具有明显的相关性(P<0.05),其中乔木层物种多样性主要与经度、纬度呈显著的相关性,灌木层物种多样性与纬度、海拔相关,草本层物种多样性与经度、纬度、海拔之间均有相关性。  相似文献

Plants are in constant contact with a community of soil biota that contains fungi ranging from pathogenic to symbiotic. A few studies have demonstrated a critical role of chemical communication in establishing highly specialized relationships, but the general role for root exudates in structuring the soil fungal community is poorly described. This study demonstrates that two model plant species (Arabidopsis thaliana and Medicago truncatula) are able to maintain resident soil fungal populations but unable to maintain nonresident soil fungal populations. This is mediated largely through root exudates: the effects of adding in vitro-generated root exudates to the soil fungal community were qualitatively and quantitatively similar to the results observed for plants grown in those same soils. This effect is observed for total fungal biomass, phylotype diversity, and overall community similarity to the starting community. Nonresident plants and root exudates influenced the fungal community by both positively and negatively impacting the relative abundance of individual phylotypes. A net increase in fungal biomass was observed when nonresident root exudates were added to resident plant treatments, suggesting that increases in specific carbon substrates and/or signaling compounds support an increased soil fungal population load. This study establishes root exudates as a mechanism through which a plant is able to regulate soil fungal community composition.  相似文献

Coarse woody debris supports large numbers of saproxylic fungal species. However, most of the current knowledge comes from Scandinavia and studies relating the effect of stand or log characteristics on the diversity and composition of decomposer fungi have not been conducted in Northeastern Canada. Logs from five tree species were sampled along a decomposition gradient in nine stands representing three successional stages of the boreal mixed forest of Northwestern Quebec, Canada. Using a molecular fingerprinting technique, we assessed fungal community Shannon–Weaver diversity index, richness, and composition. We used linear mixed models and multivariate analyses to link changes in fungal communities to log and stand characteristics. We found a total of 33 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) including an indicator species for balsam fir (similar to Athelia sp.) and one found only in aspen stands (similar to Calocera cornea). Spruce logs supported the highest fungal Shannon–Weaver diversity index and OTU number. Our results support the hypothesis that log species influences fungal richness and diversity. However, log decay class does not. Stand composition, volume of coarse woody debris, and log chemical composition were all involved in structuring fungal communities. Maintaining the diversity of wood-decomposing communities therefore requires the presence of dead wood from diverse log species.  相似文献

基于百花山50个样方的调查资料,从不同类型群落的物种多样性及其与海拔的关系等方面对百花山植被进行了分析,并且用DCA排序和海拔高程排序对物种多样性在环境梯度上的分布格局进行了初步研究。结果表明:群落内不同生长型的物种丰富度指数在森林群落中大小顺序为草本层>灌木层>乔木层,灌丛群落主要表现为草本层﹥灌木层,只有荆条灌丛表现为灌木层>草本层;Shannon-Wiener指数在山杨—华北落叶松群落中表现为灌木层>草本层>乔木层,其他森林群落为草本层>灌木层>乔木层,在灌丛群落中主要表现为草本层>灌木层,只有荆条灌丛表现为灌木层>草本层;均匀度指数在灌丛群落中表现为灌木层>草本层,在辽东栎林和山杨—华北落叶松林中表现为灌木层>乔木层>草本层,而其他森林群落表现为乔木层>灌木层>草本层。物种多样性在DCA第一轴排序和海拔高程梯度上都表现出单峰曲线变化趋势,但拟和效果的显著程度不同:丰富度和均匀度指数在海拔高程上曲线的拟和效果优于DCA环境梯度排序效果;而多样性指数则相反。  相似文献

Leaffall phenology is an important periodical event in forests, contributing to mobilization of organic matter from primary producers to soil. For seasonal forests, leaffall periodicity has been related to rainfall regime and dry season length. In weakly seasonal forests, where there is no marked dry season, other climatic factors could trigger leaf shed. In this study, we aimed to determine if other climatic variables (wind speed, solar radiation, photosynthetic photon flux density [PPFD], day length, temperature, and relative humidity) could be better correlated with patterns of litter and leaffall in a weakly seasonal subtropical wet forest in Puerto Rico. Leaffall patterns were correlated mainly with solar radiation, PPFD, day length, and temperature; and secondarily with rainfall. Two main peaks of leaffall were observed: April–June and August–September, coinciding with the periods of major solar radiation at this latitude. Community leaffall patterns were the result of overlapping peaks of individual species. Of the 32 species analyzed, 21 showed phenological patterns, either unimodal (16 species), bimodal (three species), or multimodal (two species). Lianas also presented leaffall seasonality, suggesting that they are subject to the same constraints and triggering factors affecting trees. In addition to solar radiation as a main determinant of leaffall timing in tropical forests, our findings highlight the importance of interannual variation and asynchrony, suggesting that leaffall is the result of a complex interaction between environmental and physiological factors.  相似文献

在群落水平上重建植物系统发育关系是当前植物系统学研究的一项重要内容;DNA条形码技术的出现为这一工作的开展提供了便利。本文选取国际通用的植物DNA条形码(rbcL,matK和psbA trnH),对鼎湖山大样地的183个物种(隶属于24目51科110属)进行测序;分别利用两位点和三位点DNA条形码组合构建该样地植物群落的系统发育关系,并比较不同位点组合构建出的群落系统发育关系的拓扑结构和节点支持率;最后选出一个具有最好拓扑结构和最高节点支持率的鼎湖山大样地群落系统发育关系。在目、科和属这三个水平上,三位点条形码片段组合构建的群落系统发育关系与APG系统获得较好匹配;有些进化分支在相应的APG系统位置解决得不好,却在条形码序列构建的系统发育关系中得到了较好解决。表明综合使用不同进化速率的DNA条形码片段并采取三位点超级矩阵的组合策略,在未采用APG系统大框架的情况下,也能快速而又相对准确地构建出鼎湖山南亚热带森林植物群落的系统发育关系。  相似文献

大青沟残遗森林植物群落分布于科尔沁沙地,是一个非常特殊的森林群落类型。在野外调查的基础上,分析了其群落学特点,并分析了对群落整体功能有重要影响的31个乔、灌木种类的种间联结性。结果表明,大青沟落叶阔叶林主要由具复叶、小叶和中叶的落叶大高位芽植物和中高位芽植物所组成。植物种类丰富,计有维管植物106科,359属,709种,约占整个内蒙古植物种数的三分之一。主要木本植物之间发生联结的情况较多,既有正联结,也有负联结。  相似文献

为探究森林群落树种组成对苔藓植物分布的影响,利用多元统计方法研究粤东亚热带地区苔藓植物的组成和分布对林分类型的响应。根据森林乔木层的树种组成划分为翻白叶树(Pterospermum heterophyllum)、木荷(Schima superba)+米锥(Castanopsis carlesii)和米锥3种森林类型。结果表明,3种森林类型中苔类(liverworts)和藓类(mosses)植物群落组成特征总体上存在显著差异;双齿裂萼苔(Chiloscyphus latifolius)和细指苔(Kurzia gonyotricha)在3种类型林分中的重要值变化指示了苔类植物群落的差异。3种类型林分中,均以东亚拟鳞叶藓(Pseudotaxiphyllum pohliaecarpum)为优势种。不同林分中藓类植物种类组成主要表现为亚优种分布的不同。这表明森林群落树种组成作为重要的生物因子,对林内苔藓植物的分布和种类组成有重要影响。  相似文献

于2008年在九连山保护区建立4 hm2固定监测样地,调查样地内胸径(DBH)≥1 cm的个体,以了解该区域的群落学特征.结果表明,群落的区系组成热带成分比较多,总体上呈现亚热带向热带过渡的区系特征.样地内共有植物58科、107属、221种,物种数和个体数较多的科为山茶科、樟科和壳斗科.群落稀有种较多,所占比例为40.72%.群落以红钩栲(Castanopsis lamontii)、米槠栲(C.carlesii)、罗浮柿(Diospyros morrisiana)、细枝柃(Eurya loquaiana)、罗浮栲(C.fabri)和丝栗栲(C.fargesii)为主要优势种.垂直结构由乔木上层(≥18 m)、乔木中层(10~18 m)、乔木下层(5~10 m)、灌木层(<5 m)、草本层组成.样地内所有个体的径级分布呈现倒"J"型,表现群落的稳定与正常生长状态.红钩栲、米槠、罗浮柿、罗浮栲、木荷(Schima superba)、鸭公树(Neolitsea chuii)、红楠(Machilus thunbergii)和黄丹木姜子(Litsea elongata)呈现倒"J"型,种群稳定且处于正常增长状态.样地内未发现DBH≤15 cm的马尾松(Pinus massoniana)个体,该种群属于衰退型.九连山常绿阔叶林样地优势种在不同尺度和不同径级范围内以聚集分布为主.随着研究尺度的增加,不同物种聚集程度表现出不同的变化趋势.  相似文献

以江西武夷山国家级自然保护区河岸带阔叶林群落为研究对象,对其物种组成进行调查,并采用物种丰富度指数、多样性指数和均匀度指数分析物种多样性。结果表明,保护区河岸带物种极丰富,三条水系10个样方中共调查到维管束植物93科174属304种,群落建群种和灌木层优势种均以常绿阔叶树种为主,物种组成具有典型的亚热带植被特色,以壳斗科、樟科、山茶科物种最多。保护区不同海拔河岸带物种丰富度指数、多样性指数的变化规律基本一致。  相似文献

Soil fungi are extremely important for maintaining soil health and plant production in agricultural systems. Currently, the effect of continuous cropping of sweet potato on soil fungal communities and physiochemical parameters has not been well documented. In the present study, four sweet potato fields consecutively monocultured for 1, 2, 3, and 4 years were selected to investigate the effect of monoculture on soil fungal communities through Illumina MiSeq sequencing. Continuous cropping of sweet potatoes dramatically altered the fungal community composition, whereas fungal diversity was almost unchanged. Ascomycota and Basidiomycota were the most abundant phyla in all soil samples, accounting for 32.59% and 21.14% of the average relative abundance, respectively. The abundance of some potential pathogens, such as Ascobolus spp, specifically Ascobolus stercorarius, and some unknown fungi increased significantly as the sweet potato monoculture period increased, and their presence were highly positively correlated with disease incidence. In contrast, Basidiomycota, Bullera, Fusarium and Trichocladium most likely play roles as antagonists of sweet potato disease development, as their relative abundance decreased significantly over time and were negatively correlated with disease incidence. Redundancy and correlation analyses revealed that soil pH and organic carbon content were the most important factors driving these changes. Our findings provided a dynamic overview of the fungal community and presented a clear scope for screening beneficial fungi and pathogens of sweet potato.  相似文献

Physical-chemical conditions, phytoplankton productivity, community structure and productivity of the macroinvertebrate benthic community were determined during 1976–77 in a subtropical reservoir. Physical-chemical results revealed high nitrate and phosphate concentrations with highest values in the riverine segment. Large phytoplankton populations were present during most of the year. Phytoplankton productivity was high, producing an annual mean of 87 mg C · m−3 · h−1 (12 hours light day). High turbidity in the riverine segment limited phytoplankton productivity during winter and spring. Macrobenthos was dominated by chironomids (Chironomus, Procladius, Coelotanypus and Tanypus) and oligochaetes (Limnodrilus). The annual mean benthic population was estimated at 1,626 · m−2 with a mean dry weight of 0.66 g · m−2. Mean benthic species diversity was 1.80. A lacustrine-riverine community gradient was revealed. Benthic productivity was 6.8 g · m−2 · yr−1 (dry weight) with a P: B ratio of 10. A low correlation was observed between benthic and phytoplankton productivity, and between phytoplankton standing crop and benthic macroinvertebrate numbers throughout the reservoir. Algal food supplies had little impact on the benthic community which was composed predominately of species which fed mostly on organic detritus. Stressful conditions caused by low dissolved oxygen concentrations probably inhibited development of the benthic community throughout the reservoir during summer months, while high sedimentation rates limited development in the head waters.  相似文献
