Summary
Tolypothrix magna Bharadwaja is reported for the first time from India while Tolypothrix limbata Thuret is recorded new to North India. In both species, geminate and single pseudo-branches have been sometimes observed to produce immediately pseudobranches of the second order. Thus, three or four pseudobranches may be seen arising from the same position of the parent filament. Such single pseudobranches are also associated always with unipored heterocysts and may be formed on one or on both sides of the filament.
Zusammenfassung Tolypothrix magna Bharadwaja wird erstmalig von Indien gemeldet, während Tolypothrix limbata Thuret als eine neue Art in Nordindien aufgezeichnet wird. In beiden Arten wurde beobachtet, dass paarweise and einzelne Scheinverzweigungen manchmal eine zweite Art der Scheinverzweigungen sofort hervorbringen. Auf these Weise können drei oder vier Scheinverzweigungen, entstehend von der gleichen Stelle des Hauptfadens, sehen werden. Einzelne Scheinzweige sind immer mit Einzigporeheterocysten vergesellschaftet and können an der einen oder an beiden Seiten von dem Faden gebildet werden.相似文献

A bacterial strain, MAK-2, was isolated as a producer of α-l-rhamnosidase from a soil sample of Dehradoon, India. The strain was identified based on morphology, physiological tests and
16S rDNA analysis. The phylogenetic analysis based on the 16S rDNA sequence, identified the isolate as Staphylococcus xylosus, a non-pathogenic member of CNS (coagulase-negative staphylococci) family. The strain was capable of producing α-l-rhamnosidase by hydrolysing flavonoids thus confirming potential application in the citrus-processing industry. 相似文献
