Background

High-rate pacing is a valid stress test to be used in conjunction with echocardiography; it is independent of physical exercise and does not require drug administration. There are two main applications of pacing stress in the echo lab: the noninvasive detection of coronary artery disease through induction of a regional transient dysfunction; and the assessment of contractile reserve through peak systolic pressure/end-systolic volume relationship at increasing heart rates to assess global left ventricular contractility.

Methods

The pathophysiologic rationale of pacing stress for noninvasive detection of coronary artery disease is obvious, with the stress determined by a controlled increase in heart rate, which is a major determinant of myocardial oxygen demand, and thereby tachycardia may exceed a fixed coronary flow reserve in the presence of hemodynamically significant coronary artery disease. The use of pacing stress echo to assess left ventricular contractile reserve is less established, but promising. Positive inotropic interventions are mirrored by smaller end-systolic volumes and higher end-systolic pressures. An increased heart rate progressively increases the force of ventricular contraction (Bowditch treppe or staircase phenomenon). To build the force-frequency relationship, the force is determined at different heart rate steps as the ratio of the systolic pressure (cuff sphygmomanometer)/end-systolic volume index (biplane Simpson rule). The heart rate is determined from ECG.

Conclusion

Two-dimensional echocardiography during pacing is a useful tool in the detection of coronary artery disease. Because of its safety and ease of repeatability noninvasive pacing stress echo can be the first-line stress test in patients with permanent pacemaker. The force-frequency can be defined as up- sloping (normal) when the peak stress pacing systolic pressure/end-systolic volume index is higher than baseline and intermediate stress values, biphasic with an initial up- sloping followed by a later down-sloping trend, or flat or negative when peak stress pacing systolic pressure/end-systolic volume index is equal or lower than baseline stress values. This approach is certainly highly feasible and allows a conceptually immaculate definition of contractility with prognostic usefulness, but its therapeutic implications remains to be established. Bowditch treppe, assessed with pacing stress, can be used to assess the optimal stimulation frequency and to optimise the patient's chronotropic response in programming rate-adaptive pacemakers.  相似文献

Background

Markers of kidney dysfunction such as proteinuria or albuminuria have been reported to be associated with coronary heart disease, but the consistency and strength of any such relationship has not been clearly defined. This lack of clarity has led to great uncertainty as to how proteinuria should be treated in the assessment and management of cardiovascular risk. We therefore undertook a systematic review of published cohort studies aiming to provide a reliable estimate of the strength of association between proteinuria and coronary heart disease.

Methods and Findings

A meta-analysis of cohort studies was conducted to obtain a summary estimate of the association between measures of proteinuria and coronary risk. MEDLINE and EMBASE were searched for studies reporting an age- or multivariate-adjusted estimate and standard error of the association between proteinuria and coronary heart disease. Studies were excluded if the majority of the study population had known glomerular disease or were the recipients of renal transplants. Two independent researchers extracted the estimates of association between proteinuria (total urinary protein >300 mg/d), microalbuminuria (urinary albumin 30–300 mg/d), macroalbuminuria (urinary albumin >300 mg/d), and risk of coronary disease from individual studies. These estimates were combined using a random-effects model. Sensitivity analyses were conducted to examine possible sources of heterogeneity in effect size. A total of 26 cohort studies were identified involving 169,949 individuals and 7,117 coronary events (27% fatal). The presence of proteinuria was associated with an approximate 50% increase in coronary risk (risk ratio 1.47, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.23–1.74) after adjustment for known risk factors. For albuminuria, there was evidence of a dose–response relationship: individuals with microalbuminuria were at 50% greater risk of coronary heart disease (risk ratio 1.47, 95% CI 1.30–1.66) than those without; in those with macroalbuminuria the risk was more than doubled (risk ratio 2.17, 1.87–2.52). Sensitivity analysis indicated no important differences in prespecified subgroups.

Conclusion

These data confirm a strong and continuous association between proteinuria and subsequent risk of coronary heart disease, and suggest that proteinuria should be incorporated into the assessment of an individual''s cardiovascular risk.  相似文献

目的:探讨常规心电图(ECG)与冠脉造影术(CAG)在冠心病诊断中的效果。方法:选取100例冠心病患者,入院后先行CAG,后经ECG检查,通过CAG检查的冠脉狭窄程度、冠脉病变支数与ECG检查结果的对比两种检查方法对冠心病诊断结果,评价ECG与CAG在冠心病诊断中的临床价值。结果:CAG诊断冠心病的阳性诊断率82.0%,ECG诊断冠心病阳性诊断率为79.0%,两组阳性诊断率相比,无统计学差异(P0.05)。ECG对三组冠心病患者的灵敏度分别为65.0%,92.6%,96.9%,冠脉狭窄程度50%-70%时,灵敏度低于其他两组(P0.05)。经CAG诊断为冠脉单支病变、双支病变、三支病变患者,采用ECG诊断时,组间灵敏度相比,差异有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:ECG多支病变冠心病患者容易出现漏诊、误诊情况,CAG与ECG诊断灵敏度相当,可直观反映冠脉病变情况。  相似文献

目的超声心动图检测左心室舒张功能与冠状动脉造影对照分析,探讨超声诊断的临床意义。方法85例临床疑诊冠心病超声检查左心室二尖瓣口舒张早、晚期血流充盈速度E、A两峰峰值,计算E/A比值,其结果分为舒张功能正常和降低两组。全部病人均与冠状动脉造影结果对照分析。结果超声检测左心室舒张功能与冠脉造影均正常24例,均异常53例,共77例,符合率90.59%,不符合8例,占9.41%;本文依据冠脉造影提出超声检测左心室舒张功能正常值;并发现冠心病早期舒张功能降低,且随年龄与病程长短不同。结论超声检测左心室舒张功能的改变与冠脉造影符合率高,舒张功能于冠心病早期可降低,随病程长短不同,为临床对冠心病诊治和预防提供有价值的信息。  相似文献

The aim of this investigation was to determine the seroprevalence of H. pylori in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Patients with coronary artery disease (n = 90) and control group (n = 90) were enrolled into this randomized, multi-centre study. CAD risk factors analyzed included age, male gender, diabetes mellitus, systemic hypertension, cigarette smoking, hypercholesterolemia and socioeconomic status. The results of this study showed a higher seroprevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with CAD compared to controls (78.8% versus 58.3%, p < 0.05). However, Helicobacter pylori seropositivity was not associated with coronary artery risk factors (smoking, body mass index, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, total cholesterol and socioeconomic status) either in the whole study population or in the patients and control subjects analyzed separately (P > 0.05). Further study are needed to clarify the precise role of Helicobacter pylori infection on the development of coronary artery disease.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE--To investigate the effect of cardiovascular risk factors on coronary heart disease and all cause mortality in middle aged diabetic men. DESIGN--Prospective population study based on data collected from second screening (from 1974 to 1977) in the multifactor primary prevention trial and follow up until March 1983. SETTING--Gothenburg, Sweden. SUBJECTS--6897 Men aged 51 to 59, of whom 232 were self reported diabetics and 6665 were non-diabetic; none had a history of myocardial infarction. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES--Incidences of coronary heart disease and mortality from all causes. RESULTS--Diabetic men with a serum cholesterol concentration greater than 7.3 mmol/l had a significantly higher incidence of coronary heart disease during follow up than those with a concentration less than or equal to 5.5 mmol/l (28.3% v 5.4%; p = 0.020); corresponding figures for non-diabetic men were 9.4% and 2.4% respectively. In multivariate logistic regression analyses serum cholesterol concentration and smoking habit were independent predictors of coronary heart disease (odds ratio serum cholesterol concentration 6.1 (95% confidence interval 2.1 to 17.6) current smoking 2.9 (1.1 to 7.5)) and of all cause mortality (3.2 (1.3 to 7.9), 3.0 (1.4 to 6.7) respectively) in diabetic men whereas systolic blood pressure, body mass index, family history, marital state, and alcohol abuse were not. Low occupational class was an independent predictor of mortality (2.4 (1.01 to 5.5)), but not of coronary heart disease, in diabetic men. CONCLUSIONS--Middle aged diabetic men with hypercholesterolaemia are at very high risk of developing coronary heart disease and of dying prematurely. Lowering serum cholesterol concentration in such subjects seems to be warranted.  相似文献

Background

Whether diabetic patients without a history of coronary heart disease (CHD) have the same risk of CHD events as non-diabetic patients with a history of CHD remains controversial. This study aimed to determine whether type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a coronary heart disease (CHD) equivalent in the need for coronary revascularization procedures (RVs) in the Korean population.

Methodology/Principal Findings

We followed 2,168,698 subjects who had oral anti-diabetic drugs (OADs)-taking T2DM in 2008 and/or CHD in 2007–2008 (i.e., recent CHD). We used systematic datasets from the nationwide claims database of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment service of Korea, which is representative of the whole population of Korea, from January 2007 to December 2012. The primary study endpoint was the development of need for RVs (i.e., incident CHD) after January 2009 among three groups based on their status of T2DM and recent CHD, i.e., T2DM only, recent CHD only, and both T2DM and recent CHD. After adjustment for age and sex, patients with recent CHD only had 2.14 times the risk of incident CHD (95% CI, 2.11–2.18, P<0.001) compared with patients with T2DM only. Patients with both T2DM and recent CHD demonstrated approximately 2-fold increased risk of incident CHD compared with subjects with recent CHD only (95% CI, 1.75-1.82), while 4-fold increased risk compared with subjects with T2DM only (95% CI, 3.71-3.87). The risk of incident CHD also differed according to sex and age.

Conclusions/Significance

This analysis of data from the nationwide claims database revealed that T2DM did not have a recent CHD equivalent risk in the Korean population. These results suggest that an appropriate strategy for the CHD risk stratification in diabetic patients should be adopted to manage this population.  相似文献

目的:评价多种无创辅助检查组合对冠状动脉粥样硬化性心脏病(冠心病)辅助诊断价值,筛选有效的冠心病确诊和排除指标,初步确定优化的冠心病早期诊断策略。方法:回顾性分析6419例冠心病患者多项无创辅助检查结果(包括静息心电图、24小时动态心电图、负荷心电图、负荷核素心肌显像、16或64排CT冠状动脉成像),以冠状动脉造影阳性(至少一支主要冠状动脉或其主要分支的内径有≥50%的狭窄)为金标准,观察各种无创辅助检查组合对冠心病诊断的特异性、敏感性、误诊率、漏诊率、阳性预测值和阴性预测值。结果:多项无创辅助检查组合在冠心病的诊断中敏感性56.02-87.43%,特异36.13-87.61%,阳性预测值58.83.97.16%,阴性预测值30.21.73.36%,非介入手段中,敏感性和阴性预测值以动态心电图联合核素心肌灌注显像组最高,特异性和阳性预测值以动态心电图联合冠脉CT成像组最高。结论:辅助检查组合可作为无创性诊断、评价冠心病的重要方法,动态心电图可作为各级别医院冠心病筛查的基本及重要手段。  相似文献

Melatonin concentrations in serum, as well as urinary levels of its main metabolite, 6-sulphatoxymelatonin, decrease with age. In the course of aging, the frequency of heart diseases, both acute and chronic, systematically increases. The evidence from the last 10 years suggests that melatonin influences the cardiovascular system. The presence of vascular melatoninergic receptors/binding sites has been demonstrated; these receptors are functionally linked with vasoconstrictor or vasodilatory effects of melatonin. Melatonin can contribute in cardioprotection of the rat heart, following myocardial ischemia. It has been shown that patients with coronary heart disease have a low melatonin production rate, especially those with higher risk of cardiac infarction and/or sudden death. There are clinical data reporting some alterations of melatonin in human stroke and coronary heart disease. The suprachiasmatic nucleus and, possibly, the melatoninergic system may also modulate cardiovascular rhythmicity. Hypercholesterolemia and hypertension are the other age-related symptoms. People with high levels of LDL-cholesterol have low levels of melatonin. It has been shown that melatonin suppresses the formation of cholesterol by 38% and reduces LDL accumulation by 42%. A 10-20% reduction of cholesterol concentration in women using the B-oval pill has been observed. It is a very important because, even a 10-15% reduction in blood cholesterol concentration has bee shown to result in a 20 to 30% decrease in the risk of coronary heart disease. People with hypertension have lower melatonin levels than those with normal blood pressure. The administration of the hormone in question declines blood pressure to normal range. It has been observed that melatonin, even in a dose 1 mg, reduced blood pressure and decreased catecholamine level after 90 min in human subjects. Melatonin may reduce blood pressure via the following mechanisms: 1) by a direct effect on the hypothalamus; 2) as an antioxidant which lowers blood pressure; 3) by decreasing the level of catecholamines, or 4) by relaxing the smooth muscle in the aorta wall.  相似文献

Lipoprotein electrophoresis was performed on serum from subjects with and without coronary heart disease, and the patterns compared with the serum concentrations of triglyceride and cholesterol. The beta- and pre-beta-lipoproteins, expressed as a percentage of the total lipoprotein, correlate strongly with the cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations, respectively. The beta- and pre-beta-lipoprotein concentrations are even more strongly correlated with these lipid measurements. The lipoprotein pattern does not have greater discriminant value for coronary heart disease than does the triglyceride or cholesterol concentration. There would seem to be little justification for the use of lipoprotein electrophoresis in screening the general population for coronary heart disease.  相似文献

摘要 目的:探讨冠状动脉CTA结合动态心电图夜间ST段趋势图对冠状动脉硬化性心脏病(冠心病)的诊断价值。方法:回顾性分析2022年1月-2023年2月在我院疑似冠心病的患者104例,所有患者均行冠状动脉造影、冠状动脉CTA、动态心电图及临床相关实验室检查。以冠状动脉造影结果作为诊断冠心病的金标准,分析比较冠状动脉CTA、动态心电图夜间ST段趋势图及两者联合诊断冠心病的诊断效能和一致性。结果:104例疑似冠心病的患者确诊93例(89.42%)。冠状动脉CTA诊断冠心病的敏感性为90.32%,特异性为72.73%,阳性预测值为96.55%,阴性预测值为47.06%,准确率为88.46%,与冠状动脉造影的Kappa值为0.813,一致性好。动态心电图夜间ST段趋势图诊断冠心病的敏感性为84.95%,特异性为63.64%,阳性预测值为95.18%,阴性预测值为33.33%,准确率为82.69%,与冠状动脉造影的Kappa值为0.724,一致性较好。有夜间ST段动态改变的冠心病检出率(84.95%,79/93)明显高于无夜间ST段动态改变的冠心病检出率(15.05%,14/93),差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。冠状动脉CTA结合动态心电图夜间ST段趋势图诊断冠心病的敏感性为96.77%,特异性为90.91%,阳性预测值为98.90%,阴性预测值为76.92%,准确率为96.15%,与冠状动脉造影的Kappa值为0.923,一致性好。结论:冠状动脉CTA结合动态心电图夜间ST段趋势图诊断冠心病的临床价值优于冠状动脉CTA或动态心电图夜间ST段趋势图单独检查。  相似文献

The accuracy of risk prediction for coronary artery disease can be improved with the use of novel molecular or genetic biomarkers. In this study, we investigated the difference of five selected microRNAs (miR or miRNA) in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) and controls, assessed by coronary angiography. The study population consisted of 85 subjects, aged between 18 and 75 years and underwent invasive coronary angiography. Subjects with more than 30% stenosis in at least one coronary artery, patients with a history of prior percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary by-pass surgery were allocated to the patient group; whereas the subjects without at least 30% stenosis consisted the control group. Groups were similar in age, presence of hypertension, and smoking status. However, the proportion of males and subjects taking angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers, beta blockers, nitrates, and statins were higher in the patient group. miR-221 and miR-155 were downregulated (P = .02 and .001, respectively), while miR-21 levels were significantly increased (P = .003) in the patient group compared to controls. Changes in miR-145 and miR-126 did not reach statistical significance (P > .05). miRNA- 21, miR-155, and miR-221 were differentially expressed between the patients and controls. miRNAs are promising biomarkers for CAD diagnosis, however, this requires further research with larger groups.  相似文献

Background

Activation of blood coagulation and fibrinolysis may be associated with increased risk of coronary heart disease. We aimed to assess associations of circulating tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) antigen, D-dimer and von Willebrand factor (VWF) with coronary heart disease risk.

Design

Prospective case-control study, systematic review and meta-analyses.

Methods

Measurements were made in 1925 people who had a first-ever nonfatal myocardial infarction or died of coronary heart disease during follow-up (median 19.4 years) and in 3616 controls nested within the prospective population-based Reykjavik Study.

Results

Age and sex-adjusted odds ratios for coronary heart disease per 1 standard deviation higher baseline level were 1.25 (1.18, 1.33) for t-PA antigen, 1.01 (0.95, 1.07) for D-dimer and 1.11 (1.05, 1.18) for VWF. After additional adjustment for conventional cardiovascular risk factors, corresponding odds ratios were 1.07 (0.99, 1.14) for t-PA antigen, 1.06 (1.00, 1.13) for D-dimer and 1.08 (1.02, 1.15) for VWF. When combined with the results from previous prospective studies in a random-effects meta-analysis, overall adjusted odds ratios were 1.13 (1.06, 1.21) for t-PA antigen (13 studies, 5494 cases), 1.23 (1.16, 1.32) with D-dimer (18 studies, 6799 cases) and 1.16 (1.10, 1.22) with VWF (15 studies, 6556 cases).

Conclusions

Concentrations of t-PA antigen, D-dimer and VWF may be more modestly associated with first-ever CHD events than previously reported. More detailed analysis is required to clarify whether these markers are causal risk factors or simply correlates of coronary heart disease.  相似文献

Background

In patients with chronic ischemic heart disease (IHD), the presence and extent of spontaneously visible coronary collaterals are powerful determinants of clinical outcome. There is marked heterogeneity in the recruitment of coronary collaterals amongst patients with similar degrees of coronary artery stenoses, but the biological basis of this heterogeneity is not known. Chemokines are potent mediators of vascular remodeling in diverse biological settings. Their role in coronary collateralization has not been investigated. We sought to determine whether plasma levels of angiogenic and angiostatic chemokines are associated with of the presence and extent of coronary collaterals in patients with chronic IHD.

Methodology/Principal Findings

We measured plasma concentrations of angiogenic and angiostatic chemokine ligands in 156 consecutive subjects undergoing coronary angiography with at least one ≥90% coronary stenosis and determined the presence and extent of spontaneously visible coronary collaterals using the Rentrop scoring system. Eighty-eight subjects (56%) had evidence of coronary collaterals. In a multivariable regression model, the concentration of the angiogenic ligands CXCL5, CXCL8 and CXCL12, hyperlipidemia, and an occluded artery were associated with the presence of collaterals; conversely, the concentration of the angiostatic ligand CXCL11, interferon-γ, hypertension and diabetes were associated with the absence of collaterals (ROC area 0.91). When analyzed according to extent of collateralization, higher Rentrop scores were significantly associated with increased concentration of the angiogenic ligand CXCL1 (p<0.0001), and decreased concentrations of angiostatic ligands CXCL9 (p<0.0001), CXCL10 (p = 0.002), and CXCL11 (p = 0.0002), and interferon-γ (p = 0.0004).

Conclusions/Significance

Plasma chemokine concentrations are associated with the presence and extent of spontaneously visible coronary artery collaterals and may be mechanistically involved in their recruitment.  相似文献

In this study we genotyped polymorphism in GPX1 Pro198Leu (C > T) rs 1050450 in four groups: patients with coronary artery disease, long-livers - above 90 years, early died peoples (before 55 years) from cardiovascular diseases and Russian population as control group. We have found significant higher allele T frequency in men with coronary artery disease -34.84% (Chi2 = 5.228, p = 0.022; OR = 1.46) and in early died men from cardiovascular diseases--38.16% (Chi2 = 6.461, p = 0.011; OR = 1.69) compared with control men--26.8%. Moreover, significantly higher genotype TT frequency has been shown in patients with coronary artery disease and myocardial infarction before age 50--19.44% in comparison with control group--7.28% (Chi2 = 9.55, p = 0.002). The TT frequency in long-livers (4.39%) was the lowest and significantly different from coronary artery disease group--12.79% (Chi2 = 8.07, p = 0.0045) and from coronary artery disease subgroup with myocardial infarction before 50--19.44% (Chi2 = 14.49, p = 0.0001). Thus our results indicate that allele T (Leu) of GPX1 Pro198Leu (C > T) polymorphism is unfavorable for successful ageing. It predisposes to coronary heart disease, earlier myocardial infarction (before age 50) and earlier death (before age 55).  相似文献

Background

Occult Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is a new pathological entity characterized by presence of liver disease and absence or very low levels of detectable HCV-RNA in serum. Abnormal values of liver enzymes and presence of replicative HCV-RNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells are also observed. Aim of the study was to evaluate occult HCV occurrence in a population unselected for hepatic disease.

Methodology/Principal Findings

We chose from previous epidemiological studies three series of subjects (n = 276, age range 40–65 years) unselected for hepatic disease. These subjects were tested for the presence of HCV antibodies and HCV-RNA in plasma and in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) by using commercial systems. All subjects tested negative for HCV antibodies and plasma HCV-RNA and showed normal levels of liver enzymes; 9/276 patients (3.3%) were positive for HCV-RNA in PBMCs, identifying a subset of subjects with potential occult HCV infection. We could determine the HCV type for 8 of the 9 patients finding type 1a (3 patients), type 1b (2 patients), and type 2a (3 patients).

Conclusions

The results of this study show evidence that occult HCV infection may occur in a population unselected for hepatic disease. A potential risk of HCV infection spread by subjects harbouring occult HCV infection should be considered. Design of prospective studies focusing on the frequency of infection in the general population and on the clinical evolution of occult HCV infection will be needed to verify this unexpected finding.  相似文献

Submaximal and/or maximal exercise was carried out by 357 women without a history of cardiovascular disease, using a bicycle ergometer and/or treadmill while monitored by a bipolar ECG lead CM5. In 40- to 60-year-old women the incidence of an ischemic ECG pattern during or after exercise ranged from 20 to 50%. Because clinical coronary disease can be expected in less than 10% of normal women followed for 16 years, most of these ECG changes were not considered to be due to occult coronary disease. At the present time exercise ECG changes in women cannot be used with any reliability as an aid in the diagnosis of chest pain or in screening normal female populations for coronary heart disease.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE--To investigate a reported association between dental disease and risk of coronary heart disease. SETTING--National sample of American adults who participated in a health examination survey in the early 1970s. DESIGN--Prospective cohort study in which participants underwent a standard dental examination at baseline and were followed up to 1987. Proportional hazards analysis was used to estimate relative risks adjusted for several covariates. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES--Incidence of mortality or admission to hospital because of coronary heart disease; total mortality. RESULTS--Among all 9760 subjects included in the analysis those with periodontitis had a 25% increased risk of coronary heart disease relative to those with minimal periodontal disease. Poor oral hygiene, determined by the extent of dental debris and calculus, was also associated with an increased incidence of coronary heart disease. In men younger than 50 years at baseline periodontal disease was a stronger risk factor for coronary heart disease; men with periodontitis had a relative risk of 1.72. Both periodontal disease and poor oral hygiene showed stronger associations with total mortality than with coronary heart disease. CONCLUSION--Dental disease is associated with an increased risk of coronary heart disease, particularly in young men. Whether this is a causal association is unclear. Dental health may be a more general indicator of personal hygiene and possibly health care practices.  相似文献

Various population studies have reported the association of rare S2 allele of apolipoprotein C3 (APOC3) SstI polymorphism with hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) and coronary artery disease (CAD). We were the first to report an association of S2 allele with high triglyceride (TG) levels in healthy volunteers from Northern India. Since HTG is suggested to be a predominant risk factor for CAD among Indians, we have elucidated the relationship of APOC3 SstI polymorphism with the lipid profile and CAD. A total of 158 patients with > or = 70% stenosis in one or more coronary artery (angiographically proven CAD patients), 35 subjects with < 70% stenosis (NCAD) and 151 normal controls (free of heart disease) from Northern plains of India were recruited in the study. DNA samples were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) followed by SstI digestion. Lipid profile was estimated by enzymatic kit. We found a strong association of S2 allele with high TG levels, which was more significant in patients. Prevalence of S2 allele in normal controls and CAD patients were comparable, despite the fact that mean TG level was significantly higher in patients. A greater insight into this observation revealed that the prevalence of high TG, if not coupled with other risk factors (like high total cholesterol, low HDL), was comparable in patients and controls. Thus, our study reveals that rare S2 allele may be employed as a susceptibility marker for high TG. However, high TG or S2 allele alone may not contribute to the etiology of CAD.  相似文献

目的:探讨平板运动试验(TET)对诊断冠状动脉粥样硬化性心脏病(冠心病)的临床意义。方法:对比分析217例疑诊或临床诊断冠心病患者的平板运动试验和选择性冠状动脉造影(CAG)结果。结果:以选择性冠状动脉造影为标准,平板运动试验敏感性为68.4%,特异性为88.4%,阳性预测值为77.1%,阴性预测值为82.9%。结论:简便、易行及无创的平板运动试验是诊断冠心病的重要手段。  相似文献
