The fatty acid composition of representative Candida species was examined by gas-liquid chromatography (GLC) using a polar column. The major fatty acids were C14:0, C16:0, C18:0 saturated, C16:1 and C18:1 monoenoic series, with or without C18 polyunsaturated acids (C18:2 and C18:3). In Torulopsis glabrata and Saccharomyces cerevisiae the C18:2 and C18:3 acids were not found, but the C10:0 and C12:0 acids were detected in S. cerevisiae. These results indicated that the Candida genus could be distinguished from Torulopsis and Saccharomyces genera by GLC analysis of fatty acids. Quantitative differences in the fatty acid composition between cells grown at high temperature (37 degrees C) and low temperature (25 degrees C) were found generally in Candida species, and the amounts of C18 polyunsaturated acids (C18:2 and C18:3) increased in the cells grown at 25 degrees C. Each Candida species showed a characteristic profile in fatty acid composition. Determination of the cellular fatty acid composition in Candida species is likely to be useful for the grouping or chemotaxonomy of newer isolates of Candida species.  相似文献

Experiments were conducted on the effect of growth temperature on phospholipids of Neurospora. Strains grown at high (37 degrees C) and low (15 degrees C) temperatures show large differences in the proportions of phospholipid fatty acid alpha-linolenate (18 : 3) which can vary by 10-fold over this temperature range. Changes in the phospholipid base composition are less dramatic; the most significant is an increase in phosphatidylethanolamines at low temperatures accompanied by a concomitant decrease in phosphatidylcholine. It appears that phospholipid fatty acid desaturation is closely regulated with respect to growth temperature. Over the 37 to 15 degrees C growth temperature range there appear to be at least two desaturase systems in Neurospora which are under different controls. Production of 18 : 1 and 18 : 2 species appears to occur at high levels over the entire temperature range, whereas the production of 18 : 3 seems to be inversely related to growth temperature. Shifting 37 degrees C-acclimated cultures to 15 degrees C produces a growth lag period of approximately 3 h, during which the level of 18 : 3 increases markedly. Differential scanning calorimetry of phospholipids from 37 degrees C cells shows a phase transition at -22 degrees C while lipids from 15 degrees C cultures exhibit a phase transition with reduced enthalpy at about -41 degrees C. The data are consistent with the idea that phospholipid composition in Neurospora is under strict control and suggest that membrane fluidity is regulated with respect to growth temperature through changes in membrane lipid composition.  相似文献

The effect of growth temperature on the lipid and fatty acid composition of Streptococcus faecium has been studied. No differences in the qualitative composition of S. faecium lipids were observed. In all isolated fractions (neutral lipids, glycolipids, and phospholipids plus other polar lipids), the major fatty acids were palmitic (C-16:0), palmitoleic (C-16:1), octadecenoic (C-18:1), and cyclopropane (C-19:0). Changes in the fatty acid composition of the different fractions were observed which depended on growth temperature; the most significant one was the decrease of octadecenoic acid and the increase of palmitic acid in glycolipids and polar lipids as the temperature increased. The level of cyclopropane C-19:0 was approximately eightfold lower at 8 degrees C than at the other temperatures tested (20, 30, and 45 degrees C).  相似文献

Listeria monocytogenes is a food-borne pathogen capable of growth at refrigeration temperatures. Membrane lipid fatty acids are major determinants of a sufficiently fluid membrane state to allow growth at low temperatures. L. monocytogenes was characterized by a fatty acid profile dominated to an unusual extent (> 95%) by branched-chain fatty acids, with the major fatty acids being anteiso-C15:0, anteiso-C17:0, and iso-C15:0 in cultures grown in complex or defined media at 37 degrees C. Determination of the fatty acid composition of L. monocytogenes 10403S and SLCC 53 grown over the temperature range 45 to 5 degrees C revealed two modes of adaptation of fatty acid composition to lower growth temperatures: (i) shortening of fatty acid chain length and (ii) alteration of branching from iso to anteiso. Two transposon Tn917-induced cold-sensitive mutants incapable of growth at low temperatures had dramatically altered fatty acid compositions with low levels of i-C15:0, a-C15:0, and a-C17:0 and high levels of i-C14:0, C14:0, i-C16:0, and C16:0. The levels of a-C15:0 and a-C17:0 and the ability to grow at low temperatures were restored by supplementing media with 2-methylbutyric acid, presumably because it acted as a precursor of methylbutyryl coenzyme A, the primer for synthesis of anteiso odd-numbered fatty acids. When mid-exponential-phase 10403S cells grown at 37 degrees C were temperature down-shocked to 5 degrees C they were able, for the most part, to reinitiate growth before the membrane fatty acid composition had reset to a composition more typical for low-temperature growth. No obvious evidence was found for a role for fatty acid unsaturation in adaptation of L. monocytogenes to cold temperature. The switch to a fatty acid profile dominated by a-C15:0 at low temperatures and the association of cold sensitivity with deficiency of a-C15:0 focus attention on the critical role of this fatty acid in growth of L. monocytogenes in the cold, presumably through its physical properties and their effects, in maintaining a fluid, liquid-crystalline state of the membrane lipids.  相似文献

An investigation on the free fatty acid (FFA) profile in blood serum, using liquid gas chromatography, has been carried out on young (8-9 week-old) spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR). A significative increase in the level of unsaturated FFA was found in SHR in comparison to their controls. The deviations in the composition of the FFA spectrum found were elevation of the polyunsaturated fatty acids: hexadecanoic acid (C16:2), linoleic acid (C18:2), linolenic acid (C18:3), eicosadienoic acid (C20:2), eicosatrienoic acid (C20:3), eicosapentaenoic acid (C20:5). The differences between FFA profile in SHR and control group can reflect genetically controlled variables.  相似文献

Both the content and composition of polar and neutral lipids from the mitochondrial fraction of ovarian full-grown Bufo arenarum oocytes were analysed in the present study. Triacylglycerols (TAG) represent 33% of the total lipids, followed by phosphatidylcholine (PC), free fatty acids (FFA) and phosphatidylethanolamine (PE). Diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG) or cardiolipin, a specific component of the inner mitochondrial membrane, represents about 4% of the total lipid content. Palmitic (16:0) and arachidonic (20:4n6) acids are the most abundant fatty acids in PC and PE, respectively. DPG is enriched in fatty acids with carbon chain lengths of 18, the principal component being linoleic acid. In phosphatidylinositol (PI), 20:4n6 and stearic acid (18:0) represent about 72 mol% of the total acyl group level. The main fatty acids in TAG are linoleic (18:2), oleic (18:1), and palmitic acids. The fatty acid composition of FFA and diacylglycerols (DAG) is similar, 16:0 being the most abundant acyl group. PE is the most unsaturated lipid and sphingomyelin (SM) has the lowest unsaturation index.  相似文献

Ultraprofound hypothermia (< 5 degrees C) induces changes to cell membranes such as liquid-to-gel lipid transitions and oxidative stress that have a negative effect on membrane function and cell survival. We hypothesized that fatty acid substitution of endothelial cell lipids and alterations in their unsaturation would modify cell survival at 0 degrees C, a temperature commonly used during storage and transportation of isolated cells or tissues and organs used in transplantation. Confluent bovine aortic endothelial cells were treated with 18-carbon fatty acids (C18:0, C18:1n-9, C18:2n-6, or C18:3n-3), C20:5n-3 or C22:6n-3 (DHA), and then stored at 0 degrees C without fatty acid supplements. Storage of control cells caused the release of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and a threefold increase in lipid peroxidation (LPO) when compared to control cells not exposed to cold. Pre-treating cells with C18:0 decreased the unsaturation of cell lipids and reduced LDH release at 0 degrees C by 50%, but all mono- or poly-unsaturated fatty acids increased injury in a concentration-dependent manner and as the extent of fatty acid unsaturation increased. DHA-treatment increased cell fatty acid unsaturation and caused maximal injury at 0 degrees C, which was prevented by lipophilic antioxidants BHT or vitamin E, the iron chelator deferoxamine, and to a lesser extent by vitamin C. Furthermore, the cold-induced increase in LPO was reduced by C18:0, vitamin E, or DFO but enhanced by DHA. In conclusion, the findings implicate iron catalyzed free radicals and LPO as a predominant mechanism of endothelial cell injury at 0 degrees C, which may be reduced by increasing lipid saturation or treating cells with antioxidants.  相似文献

The lipid composition of very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) in plasma is crucial for human health. A pre-requisite for the alteration of VLDL composition is a co-ordinated understanding of the complex interactions in VLDL assembly. In order to determine the potential effects of changes in substrate availability on VLDL lipid composition, we constructed, parameterized and evaluated a mechanistic mathematical model of the biosynthesis of triglycerides, phospholipids, and cholesterol esters and the assembly of VLDL in human hepatocytes. Using published data on human liver metabolism, the model was also used to provide insight into the complex process of lipid metabolism and to estimate the affinities of different liver enzymes for different fatty acids (FA). For example, we found that Delta6-desaturase is 19 times more selective for C18:3n-3 than C18:2n-6, stearoyl-CoA-desaturase is 2.7 times more selective for C18:0 than C16:0, Delta5-desaturase desaturates C20:4n-3 preferentially over C20:3n-6 and FA elongase preferentially elongates C18:3n-6. The model was also used to predict the plasma free fatty acid (FFA) composition required to generate a prescribed change in plasma lipoprotein FA composition. Furthermore, the model was tested against a published human feeding trial that investigated the effect of changes in dietary FA composition on human plasma lipid FA composition. The model is a useful tool for predicting the effect of changes in plasma FFA composition on plasma lipoprotein lipid FA composition.  相似文献

Mice were fed a diet either high or low in P/S ratio to determine the effect of altering dietary lipid on the fatty acid composition of liver nuclear envelopes and thereby on functions of the nuclear envelope. Mice fed the high P/S diet exhibited higher levels of C18:2 omega 6 and unsaturates in liver nuclear envelopes, higher specific activity of NTPase and specific binding for L-triiodothyronine at 15 degrees C and 22 degrees C compared with the low P/S diet fed group. These observations indicate that diet-induced differences in the fatty acid composition of nuclear envelope lipid affects functions of the nuclear envelope.  相似文献

Leaf membrane lipids of the Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) fatty acid biosynthesis 1 (fab1) mutant contain a 35% to 40% increase in the predominant saturated fatty acid 16:0, relative to wild type. This increase in membrane saturation is associated with loss of photosynthetic function and death of mutant plants at low temperatures. We have initiated a suppressor screen for mutations that allow survival of fab1 plants at 2 degrees C. Five suppressor mutants identified in this screen all rescued the collapse of photosynthetic function observed in fab1 plants. While fab1 plants died after 5 to 7 weeks at 2 degrees C, the suppressors remained viable after 16 weeks in the cold, as judged by their ability to resume growth following a return to 22 degrees C and to subsequently produce viable seed. Three of the suppressors had changes in leaf fatty acid composition when compared to fab1, indicating that one mechanism of suppression may involve compensating changes in thylakoid lipid composition. Surprisingly, the suppressor phenotype in one line, S31, was associated with a further substantial increase in lipid saturation. The overall leaf fatty acid composition of S31 plants contained 31% 16:0 compared with 23% in fab1 and 17% in wild type. Biochemical and genetic analysis showed that S31 plants contain a new allele of fatty acid desaturation 5 (fad5), fad5-2, and are therefore partially deficient in activity of the chloroplast 16:0 Delta7 desaturase. A double mutant produced by crossing fab1 to the original fad5-1 allele also remained alive at 2 degrees C, indicating that the fad5-2 mutation is the suppressor in the S31 (fab1 fad5-2) line. Based on the biophysical characteristics of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, the increased 16:0 in fab1 fad5-2 plants would be expected to exacerbate, rather than ameliorate, low-temperature damage. We propose instead that a change in shape of the major thylakoid lipid, monogalactosyldiacylglycerol, mediated by the fad5-2 mutation, may compensate for changes in lipid structure resulting from the original fab1 mutation. Our identification of mutants that suppress the low-temperature phenotype of fab1 provides new tools to understand the relationship between thylakoid lipid structure and photosynthetic function.  相似文献

Adaptative responses of ectothermic organisms to thermal variation typically involve the reorganization of membrane glycerophospholipids (GPLs) to maintain membrane function. We investigated how acclimation at 15, 20 and 25 degrees C during preimaginal development influences the thermal tolerance and the composition of membrane GPLs in adult Drosophila melanogaster. Long-term cold survival was significantly improved by low acclimation temperature. After 60 h at 0 degrees C, more than 80% of the 15 degrees C-acclimated flies survived while none of the 25 degrees C-acclimated flies survived. Cold shock tolerance (1h at subzero temperatures) was also slightly better in the cold acclimated flies. LT50 shifted down by ca 1.5 degrees C in 15 degrees C-acclimated flies in comparison to those acclimated at 25 degrees C. In contrast, heat tolerance was not influenced by acclimation temperature. Low temperature acclimation was associated with the increase in proportion of ethanolamine (from 52.7% to 58.5% in 25 degrees C-acclimated versus 15 degrees C-acclimated flies, respectively) at the expense of choline in GPLs. Relatively small, but statistically significant changes in lipid molecular composition were observed with decreasing acclimation temperature. In particular, the proportions of glycerophosphoethanolamines with linoleic acid (18:2) at the sn-2 position increased. No overall change in the degree of fatty acid unsaturation was observed. Thus, cold tolerance but not heat tolerance was influenced by preimaginal acclimation temperature and correlated with the changes in GPL composition in membranes of adult D. melanogaster.  相似文献

The alteration of the degree of unsaturated fatty acids in membrane lipids has been shown to be a key mechanism in the tolerance to temperature stress of living organisms. The step that most influences the physiology of membranes has been proposed to be the amount of di-unsaturated fatty acids in membrane lipids. In this study, we found that the desaturation of fatty acid to yield the di-unsaturated fatty acid 18:2(9,12), in Spirulina platensis strain C1, was not regulated by temperature. As shown by the fatty acid composition and gene expression patterns, the levels of 18:1(9) and 18:2(9,12) remained almost constant either when the cells were grown at 35 degrees C (normal growth temperature) or 22 and 40 degrees C. The expression of desC (Delta9) and desA (Delta12) genes, which are responsible for the introduction of first and second double bonds into fatty acids, respectively, was not affected by the temperature shift from 35 to 22 degrees C or to 40 degrees C. Only the expression and mRNA stability of the desD gene (Delta6) that is responsible for the introduction of a third double bond into fatty acids were enhanced by a temperature shift from 35 to 22 degrees C, but not the shift from 35 to 40 degrees C. The increase in the level of desD mRNA elevated the desaturation of fatty acid from 18:2(9,12) to 18:3(6,9,12) at 22 degrees C. However, the increased level of 18:3(6,9,12) was observed after 36 h of incubation at 22 degrees C, indicating a slow response to temperature of fatty acid desaturation in this cyanobacterium. These findings suggest that the desaturation of fatty acids might not be a key mechanism in the response to the temperature change of S. platensis strain C1.  相似文献

Some effects of light intensity, day length, and temperatureon the fatty acid composition of the major glycerolipids ofleaves of Vicia faba L. (cv. Giant Windsor) were observed. Increasinglight intensity caused an increase in the relative concentrationsof 16 : 1 in PG and 18 : 3 in MGDG and DGDG. Increasing daylength during growth (and continuous illumination of leaf tissue)had no effect on 16 : 1 in PG but caused a decrease in the 18: 3 content of PG, PC, MGDG, and DGDG. Since the quantitiesof these lipids increased under these conditions, the decreasewas not due to photodestruction but to the differences in therelative rates of biosynthesis and desaturation of fatty acids.Incubation of leaf tissue in the dark for 4 d had little effecton the fatty acid composition of MGDG, DGDG, and PG. Temperaturealso controls fatty acid synthesis and desaturation. Above theoptimum growth temperature (20 °C), the 18 : 3 content ofMGDG, DGDG, PG, and PC decreased. In mature leaf tissue, thedegree of unsaturation of MGDG may be modified upward in responseto temperature changes. When plants were grown at 30 °Cand transferred to 20 °C the level of 18 : 3 in MGDG ofthe leaf tissue increased to levels found in plants grown onlyat 20 °C. The level of 18 : 3 in MGDG does not decreaseas rapidly when plants grown at 20 °C were transferred to30 °C. The fatty acid composition of lipid A was studied using gas-liquid chromatography (GLC) and GLC-mass spectrometry in Pseudomonas fluorescens strains of biovars A, B, C, i, F and G, the type strain ATCC 13525 (biovar A) inclusive. The following fatty acids were identified as predominant in the composition of lipid A in the strains representing biovars A, B, C, i, F and G: 3-hydroxydecanoic (3-OH C10:0), 2-hydroxydodecanoic (2-OH C12:0), 3-hydroxydodecanoic (3-OH C12:0), dodecanoic (C12:0), hexadecanoic (C16:0), octadecanoic (C18:0), hexadecenoic (C16:1) and octadecenoic (C18:1) acids. Lipid A of a biovar G strain differed noticeably from other strains in its fatty acid composition. Its main components were as follows: 3-hydroxytetradecanoic (3-OH C14:0), 3-hydroxypentadecanoic (3-OH C15:0) and dodecanoic (C12:0) fatty acids. The coefficients of similarity were determined for lipid A specimens isolated from the studied strains of P. fluorescens by calculating their fatty acid composition with a computer.  相似文献

Diets rich in unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids have a positive effect on mammalian torpor, whereas diets rich in saturated fatty acids have a negative effect. To determine whether the number of double bonds in dietary fatty acids are responsible for these alterations in torpor patterns, we investigated the effect of adding to the normal diet 5% pure fatty acids of identical chain length (C18) but a different number of double bonds (0, 1, or 2) on the pattern of hibernation of the yellow-pine chipmunk, Eutamias amoenus. The response of torpor bouts to a lowering of air temperature and the mean duration of torpor bouts at an air temperature of 0.5°C (stearic acid C18:0, 4.5±0.8 days, oleic acid C18:1, 8.6±0.5 days; linoleic acid C18:2, 8.5±0.7 days) differed among animals that were maintained on the three experimental diets. The mean minimum body temperatures (C18:0, +2.3±0.3°C; C18:1, +0.3±0.2°C; C18:2,-0.2±0.2°C), which torpid individuals defended by an increase in metabolic rate, and the metabolic rate of torpid animals also differed among diet groups. Moreover, diet-induced differences were observed in the composition of total lipid fatty acids from depot fat and the phospholipid fatty acids of cardiac mitochondria. For depot fat 7 of 13 and for heart mitochondria 7 of 14 of the identified fatty acids differed significantly among the three diet groups. Significant differences among diet groups were also observed for the sum of saturated, unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. These diet-induced alterations of body fatty acids were correlated with some of the diet-induced differences in variables of torpor. Acholeplasma laidlawii B cells made fatty acid auxotrophic by growth in the presence of the biotin-binding agent avidin grow increasingly poorly at 37 degrees C when supplemented with single exogenous linear saturated fatty acids of decreasing hydrocarbon chain length. Interestingly, this progressive decrease in growth yields with decreasing hydrocarbon chain length is not observed when cells are cultured in the presence of other classes of exogenous fatty acids. Moreover, normal growth is observed is other types of fatty acids with equivalent or shorter hydrocarbon chain lengths, indicating that poor growth in the presence of short-chain linear saturated fatty acids cannot be due to a decrease in membrane lipid bilayer thickness per se. To understand the molecular basis of such growth inhibition, we determined the growth yields, membrane lipid fatty acid and polar headgroups compositions, and phase state and fluidity of the membrane lipids in cells progressively biosynthetically enriched in tridecanoic acid (13:0) or dodecanoic acid (12:0). The growth of fatty acid auxotrophic A. laidlawii B cells grown in the presence of binary combinations of an exogenous fatty acid which supports normal growth on its own and 13:0 or 12:0 revealed that growth inhibition is not observed until 13:0 and 12:0 biosynthetic incorporation levels reach about 90 and 60 mol %, respectively, after which growth is markedly inhibited. Differential scanning calorimetric analyses of membranes from cells maximally enriched in 13:0 indicate that the lipid gel/liquid-crystalline phase transition temperature is unexpectedly high but that at the growth temperature of 37 degrees C, the membrane lipid bilayer is almost exclusively in the liquid-crystalline state but is certainly not excessively fluid. However, high levels of 13:0 incorporation produce a greatly elevated level of the high melting, reversed nonlamellar phase-preferring lipid component monoglucosyl diacylglycerol, and greatly reduced levels of all other membrane lipid components. This marked elevation of monoglucosyl diacylglycerol levels can be rationalized as a regulatory response which maintains the lamellar/nonlamellar phase-forming propensity of the total membrane lipid mixture relatively constant in the face of the biosynthetic incorporation of increasing quantities of short-chain saturated fatty acids, which favor the lamellar phase. However, this lipid biosynthetic response produces a marked decline in the levels of anionic phospholipid and phosphoglycolipid which are probably required to maintain the minimal negative surface charge density of the lipid bilayer, which we suggest is responsible for the observed growth inhibition. This work shows that the lipid biosynthetic regulatory mechanisms present in this organism may sometimes operate at cross purposes such that it is not possible to simultaneously optimize all of the biologically relevant physical properties of the membrane lipid bilayer.  相似文献

This research aims to examine the effect of cadmium uptake on lipid composition and fatty acid biosynthesis, in young leaves of tomato treated seedlings (Lycopersicon esculentum cv. Ibiza F1). Results in membrane lipids investigations revealed that high cadmium concentrations affect the main lipid classes, leading to strong changes in their composition and fatty acid content. Thus, the exposure of tomato plants to cadmium caused a concentration-related decrease in the unsaturated fatty acid content, resulting in a lower degree of fatty acid unsaturation. The level of lipid peroxides was significantly enhanced at high Cd concentrations. Studies of the lipid metabolism using radioactive labelling with [1-14C]acetate as a major precursor of lipid biosynthesis, showed that levels of radioactivity incorporation in total lipids as well as in all lipid classes were lowered by Cd doses. In total lipid fatty acids, [1-14C]acetate incorporation was reduced in tri-unsaturated fatty acids (C16:3 and C18:3); While it was enhanced in the palmitic (C16:0), palmitoleic (C16:1), stearic (C18:0) and linoleic (C18:2) acids. [1-14C]acetate incorporation into C16:3 and C18:3 of galactolipids [monogalactosyldiacylglycerol (MGDG) and digalactosyldiacylglycerol (DGDG)] and some phospholipids [phosphatidylcholine (PC) and phosphatidylglycerol (PG)] was inhibited by Cd stress. Our results showed that in tomato plants, cadmium stress provoked an inhibition of polar lipid biosynthesis and reduced fatty acid desaturation process.  相似文献

This study was designed to assess the effect of ambient temperature on lipid content, lipid classes and fatty acid compositions of heart, liver, muscle and brain in oviparous lizards, Phrynocephalus przewalskii, caught in the desert area of China. Significant differences could be observed in the contents of the total lipid and fatty acid compositions among different temperatures (4, 25 and 38 degrees C). The study showed that liver and muscle were principal sites of lipid storage. Triacylglycerol (TAG) mainly deposited in the liver, while phospholipids (PL) was identified as the predominant lipid class in the muscle and brain. Palmitic and stearic acid generally occupied the higher proportion in saturated fatty acids (SFA), while monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) consisted mainly of 16:1n-7, 18:1n-9, 18:2n-6, 18:3n-3, 20:4n-6 and 22:6n-3 regardless of tissue and temperature. These predominant fatty acids proportion fluctuations caused by temperature affected directly the ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids. There was a tendency to increase the degree of unsaturation in the fatty acids of TAG and PL as environmental temperature dropped from 38 to 4 degrees C, although the different extent in different tissues. These results suggested that lipid characteristics of P. przewalskii tissues examined were influenced by ambient temperature.  相似文献

The fatly acid composition of different lipid fractions (neutral, glyco- and phospholipids) was studied in Sphagnum fimbriatum Wils, gametophytes grown in aseptic cultures at two temperatures (15°C and 25°C). The effect of a growth-retarding concentration (0.1 mM) of KF was also investigated. Fifteen-day treatment with KF affected the fatty acid composition more strongly at the higher than at the lower temperature. The proportion of palmitic acid (16:0) increased but the proportion of linoleic (18:2) decreased in all the lipid fractions, and that of linolenic (18:3) acid decreased in the fractions containing glyco- and neutral lipids. This indicates that the fluoride ions inhibit lengthening of the fatty acid chain. Compared with gametophytes grown at 25°C, material cultivated at 15°C had a much higher proportion of a highly unsaturated fatty acid, linolenic acid (18:3), in all the lipid fractions, but a lower proportion of oleic acid (18:1) in the neutral and phospholipids, and a lower proportion of linoleic (18:2) acid in all three fractions.  相似文献
