Background  

Perception of sugars is an invaluable ability for insects which often derive quickly accessible energy from these molecules. A distinctive subfamily of eight proteins within the gustatory receptor (Gr) family has been identified as sugar receptors (SRs) in Drosophila melanogaster (Gr5a, Gr61a, and Gr64a-f). We examined the evolution of these SRs within the 12 available Drosophila genome sequences, as well as three mosquito, two moth, and beetle, bee, and wasp genome sequences.  相似文献

嗅觉在昆虫的多种行为中发挥关键作用。气味分子与嗅觉神经元树突上气味受体的结合,参与了昆虫嗅觉识别的初始过程。昆虫的嗅觉神经元表达两类气味受体: 一是传统气味受体,该类受体同源性较低,在少部分嗅觉神经元中表达; 二是Or83b家族受体,该类受体不感受气味,在不同昆虫间较为保守且在大多数嗅觉神经元中表达。目前,对于单个传统气味受体的气味分子配体特异性所知甚少; 对于Or83b家族受体,一般认为其可能具有将传统气味受体运送至嗅觉神经元树突膜上的功能。此外,有一些实验证据不支持昆虫气味受体为G蛋白偶联受体的观点。  相似文献

The induction of an antiviral response in cultured Aedes aegypti cells was compared with that in duck embryo fibroblasts using 32P-labeled double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) from reovirus and poly(rI-rC). Although A. aegypti cells could incorporate a comparable amount of dsRNA (80%), no antiviral response was observed. Further studies using poly(rI-rC) under conditions shown to be optimal for vertebrate cells failed to give positive results. An attempt in Bombyx mori larvae to measure a cellular response to foreign material (a coliphage) injected into the hemocoel resulted in the persistence of the virus for at least 8 days.  相似文献

γ-氨基丁酸(gamma-aminobutyric acid,GABA)是脊椎动物和无脊椎动物体内重要的抑制性神经递质,其作用是引起神经传递的抑制,造成突触后膜的超极化,因而抑制动作电位的产生。占领GABA受体或破坏GABA受体的作用即能影响动物(昆虫)正常的突触传递,造成神经功能失常,从而引起死亡。基于此开发的杀虫剂主要有环戊二烯类,阿维菌素类等。近年GABA受体基因及其表达的研究,已为不同的种属GABA受体的亚基组成、生理功能及其对很多杀虫剂药物反应的多样性提供了令人信服的依据。  相似文献

In vertebrates, it is well established that there are many intricate interactions between the immune system and the nervous system, and vice versa. Regarding insects, until now little has been known about the link between these two systems. Here, we present behavioural evidence indicating a link between the immune system and the nervous system in insects. We show that otherwise non-infected honeybees whose immune systems are challenged by a non-pathogenic immunogenic elicitor lipopolysaccharide (LPS) have reduced abilities to associate an odour with sugar reward in a classical conditioning paradigm. The cost of an immune response therefore not only affects survival of the host, as previously shown, but also everyday behaviour and memory formation.  相似文献

毒蕈碱型乙酰胆碱受体(muscarinic acetylcholine receptor,mAchR)是昆虫神经系统中一种十分重要的神经递质受体,属于G蛋白偶联受体超家族,与配体结合后激活G蛋白并通过胞内第二信使产生生物学效应,参与昆虫多种神经生理功能,是农药开发的一个潜在靶标。昆虫毒蕈碱型乙酰胆碱受体的研究,有助于提高昆虫神经生理及行为调节机制等方面的认识,并为以此为靶标的新型杀虫剂研制提供新思路。本文综述了国内外对昆虫毒蕈碱型乙酰胆碱受体的研究概况,并对GenBank中已上传的昆虫mAchR序列进行了分子进化分析,最后对昆虫mAchR研究中存在的问题及前景进行了分析和展望。  相似文献

In insects, localized tissue injury often leads to global (organism-wide) delays in development and retarded metamorphosis. In Drosophila, for example, injuries to the larval imaginal discs can retard pupariation and prolong metamorphosis. Injuries induced by treatments such as radiation, mechanical damage and induction of localized cell death can trigger similar delays. In most cases, the duration of the developmental delay appears to be correlated with the extent of damage, but the effect is also sensitive to the developmental stage of the treated animal. The proximate cause of the delays is likely a disruption of the ecdysone signaling pathway, but the intermediate steps leading from tissue injury and/or regeneration to that disruption remain unknown. Here, we review the evidence for injury-induced developmental delays, and for a checkpoint or checkpoints associated with the temporal progression of development and the on-going efforts to define the mechanisms involved.  相似文献

多巴胺(dopamine, DA)是一种重要的神经递质,通过特异地结合其相关的多巴胺受体(dopamine receptors, DARs)发挥作用。昆虫DARs可分为D1-like DARs, D2-like DARs和多巴胺/蜕皮激素受体(dopamine/ecdysteroid receptor, DopEcR)。D1-like DARs包含两种亚型即DOP1和DOP2,都能偶联Gs蛋白引起胞内cAMP上升,且DOP2还能偶联Gq蛋白引起胞内Ca2+浓度升高;D2-like DARs只有一种亚型DOP3,偶联Gi蛋白导致胞内cAMP下降;DopEcR可以同时被DA和蜕皮激素激活。本文综述了近年来关于昆虫DA的调控、多巴胺神经元、DARs的药理学特性及生理功能等方面的研究进展。DA合成、转运和降解过程中的基因调控昆虫的多种表型,如表皮黑化、翅的颜色和图案等。DA在多巴胺神经元中合成和释放,不同类型的多巴胺神经元参与调控不同的功能。随着近年来单细胞测序和DA实时成像技术的兴起,这将有利于进一步探讨...  相似文献

鳞翅目昆虫种类繁多,对农业生产和人类生活产生重大影响,宿主昆虫与病毒相互关系的研究对于利用病毒杀虫剂进行害虫治理和益虫病毒性疾病的预防具有重要意义.因此,鳞翅目昆虫与病毒的互作研究显得尤为重要,宿主昆虫的免疫系统在抗病毒感染过程中发挥着关键作用,对病毒产生不同程度的免疫反应.本文综述了昆虫围食膜和中肠对病毒入侵的防御作用,病毒进入体腔后昆虫所产生的细胞免疫和体液免疫反应,以及RNAi、细胞的自噬与凋亡、Toll、Imd、JAK-STAT和STING信号通路等相关的抗病毒免疫途径,并对昆虫抗病毒免疫研究的制约因素和未来鳞翅目昆虫抗病毒免疫的研究重点进行了讨论,以期为害虫的生物防治和益虫疾病的防控提供理论依据.  相似文献

Summary Graded doses of cell suspensions of an embryonic cockroach cell line in its 290th passage were injected into the hemoceles of hosts of the homologous species,Blattella germanica, of different ages. All insects injected with viable cells suffered paralysis, progressive loss of appendages, and premature death. The time of death depended on the number of cells inoculated. Histological studies of the afflicted insects showed that the injected cells were metastatic and invasive, producing tumors, especially in the fat body. Tumors were transplantable and malignant in secondary hosts. Tumors were not produced by cell-free spent medium, or homogenized or sonicated cell breis. The cause of paralysis and loss of appendages was not known, although large aggregations of the injected cells could be seen in the leg musculature in the thorax. Cells were recovered from the tumors and grown again in culture. The line was predominantly diploid (62%) with some heteroploid cells (38%). 昆虫天然免疫反应分为体液免疫和细胞免疫两种,二者共同作用抵御细菌、真菌、病毒等外源病原物的侵染。体液免疫反应主要包括黑色素形成和抗菌肽产生两种机制,细胞免疫反应包括吞噬、集结和包囊等作用类型。在昆虫天然免疫反应中,昆虫模式识别蛋白负责识别并结合外源物表面特有的模式分子,丝氨酸蛋白酶、丝氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂、各种配体、受体等负责级联信号途径的激活和调控,抗菌肽、黑色素等效应分子则负责对入侵物的杀灭和清除。本文根据国外和作者自己的研究,综述了昆虫天然免疫反应的研究进展,并针对该领域最新的研究动态展望了昆虫肠道免疫、昆虫免疫致敏以及不完全变态昆虫免疫学等这些研究前沿。  相似文献
