张家界市部分农作物可食部位硒含量研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
采用国家标准( GB/T5009.93-2003),用荧光分光光度计对张家界市22种农作物40个样本可食部位中的硒含量进行了分析.结果表明,测定的22个种类40个样本均属于富硒及高硒作物,以茶叶的硒平均含量最高为2.0102 mg/kg,其次是豆类平均含量为1.8518 mg/kg,薯类含量最低为1.0240 mg/kg.所测定的各种作物可食部位富硒能力依次为:茶叶2.0102 mg/kg>豆类(干)1.8518 mg/kg>水稻、玉米1.5326 mg/kg>蔬菜类1.3438 mg/kg>水果类1.0783 mg/kg>薯类1.0240 mg/kg.该研究确定了部分农作物硒含量的水平及富硒作物品种.  相似文献

A procedure using open digestion followed by flame atomic absorption spectrometry is described for measuring the total selenium content of Se-enriched yeast. The limits of detection and quantitation were 2.5 mg/L and 5 mg/L Se, respectively. The signal response was linear over the range of 5–50 mg/L Se, and the average recovery from spiked samples was 98.9%. The validated method was used to measure the Se content of Se-enriched yeast reference material and produced a result of 2145±38 mg/kg (n=3), which is in good agreement with the certified level of 2125 ±65 mg/kg.  相似文献

Deletion of selenoprotein P alters distribution of selenium in the mouse   总被引:15,自引:0,他引:15  
Selenoprotein P (Se-P) contains most of the selenium in plasma. Its function is not known. Mice with the Se-P gene deleted (Sepp(-/-)) were generated. Two phenotypes were observed: 1) Sepp(-/-) mice lost weight and developed poor motor coordination when fed diets with selenium below 0.1 mg/kg, and 2) male Sepp(-/-) mice had sharply reduced fertility. Weanling male Sepp(+/+), Sepp(+/-), and Sepp(-/-) mice were fed diets for 8 weeks containing <0.02-2 mg selenium/kg. Sepp(+/+) and Sepp(+/-) mice had similar selenium concentrations in all tissues except plasma where a gene-dose effect on Se-P was observed. Liver selenium was unaffected by Se-P deletion except that it increased when dietary selenium was below 0.1 mg/kg. Selenium in other tissues exhibited a continuum of responses to Se-P deletion. Testis selenium was depressed to 19% in mice fed an 0.1 mg selenium/kg diet and did not rise to Sepp(+/+) levels even with a dietary selenium of 2 mg/kg. Brain selenium was depressed to 43%, but feeding 2 mg selenium/kg diet raised it to Sepp(+/+) levels. Kidney was depressed to 76% and reached Sepp(+/+) levels on an 0.25 mg selenium/kg diet. Heart selenium was not affected. These results suggest that the Sepp(-/-) phenotypes were caused by low selenium in testis and brain. They strongly suggest that Se-P from liver provides selenium to several tissues, especially testis and brain. Further, they indicate that transport forms of selenium other than Se-P exist because selenium levels of all tissues except testis responded to increases of dietary selenium in Sepp(-/-) mice.  相似文献

Iodine and selenium are essential trace elements involved in the regulation of thyroid metabolism and antioxidant status. Two experiments were undertaken on lactating cows to determine the milk concentrations of iodine and selenium, carry over (CO) in milk, the fraction in curdle portion and how milk yield affects the milk iodine and selenium concentrations and CO. Sources of elements were potassium iodide and sodium selenite. In Experiment 1, 12 cows were randomly allotted to three diet groups in a completely randomized design: control group (CTR) - total mixed ration (TMR) containing 1.71 and 0.08 mg/kg dry matter (DM); Group 1 (T1) - TMR plus 23.8 and 2.2 mg; Group 2 (T2) - TMR plus 45.5 and 4.3 mg, respectively, for iodine and selenium. In Experiment 2, 30 cows were allotted to three groups according to milk yield: high (H), average (A) and low (L). Within each group, cows were randomly assigned two levels of iodine and selenium: Level 1: TMR containing 1.55 and 0.15 mg/kg DM; Level 2: TMR plus 47.2 mg and 8.0 mg, respectively, iodine and selenium. In both experiments, individual milk samples were collected and analyzed for iodine and selenium contents. In Experiment 1, Grana Padano cheese was obtained at lab scale and the iodine and selenium fractions in the curd were measured. In Experiment 1, the iodine intake increased (P < 0.001) the concentration and total excretion in milk. The CO increased (P < 0.05) from 16 (CTR) to 27 (T1) and 26% (T2); the sampling time was significant (P < 0.05) with no interaction with treatments. Concentration of selenium in milk was increased (P < 0.05) by treatment and CO decreased (P < 0.01) from 26 (CTR) to 12 (T1) and 9% (T2). The iodine showed a mild enrichment factor in the curdle (about 1.7-fold), whereas selenium enriched five- to sevenfold. In Experiment 2, the level of iodine supplementation affected (P < 0.05) the concentration and total excretion in milk. No effects on milk iodine concentration were related to milk yield or milk yield × treatment interaction; however, the iodine excretion in milk was major (P < 0.05) in higher yielding groups. The iodine CO was affected (P < 0.05) by the milk yield in supplemented groups. The selenium milk concentration and excretion were affected (P < 0.01) by the milk yield, whereas the CO was affected (P < 0.05) by the milk yield and selenium supplementation. Results highlight the possibility of fortification with iodine in milk and selenium in cheese through animal feeding.  相似文献

研究不同浓度的硒、锌对卫星灵芝菌丝体生长的影响,初步探讨卫星灵芝菌丝体生物富集硒、锌的效应。采用平板培养法及液体发酵法研究锌、硒对卫星灵芝菌丝体生长的影响及富集效应。培养基中不同浓度的亚硒酸钠对菌丝体生长均具有不同程度的抑制作用,但灵芝菌丝体的富硒量随着硒浓度的增加而提高,当亚硒酸钠浓度为40 mg/L时,菌丝体中的生物量、富硒量及富硒转化率最高,分别为1.54%、2 131.55 mg/kg、32.91%;培养基中硫酸锌浓度低于150 mg/L的范围内对卫星灵芝菌丝体生长有明显的促进作用,硫酸锌浓度为60 mg/L时菌丝体中的锌含量和富锌转化率最高,分别为1 142.91 mg/kg、1.76%。培养基中同时添加40 mg/L的亚硒酸钠和60 mg/L硫酸锌,菌丝体生长量1.60%,富硒量301.85 mg/kg,富硒率4.84%;富锌量为540.41 mg/kg,富锌率为5.72%。  相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of arsenic and bromine exposure with or without iodine and selenium supplementation on the element level in the thyroid of rats. Four major groups of Wistar female rats were fed with respective diets: group A - standard diet, group B - iodine rich diet (10 mg I/kg food), group C - selenium rich diet (1 mg Se/kg) and group D - iodine and selenium rich diet (as in group B and C). Each group was divided into four subgroups per 7 animals each receiving either NaAsO(2) ip (6.5 mg.kg(-1) twice a week for two weeks and 3.25 mg.kg(-1) for six weeks) or KBr in drinking water (58.8 mg.l(-1)) for 8 weeks or combined administration of both substances. Remaining subgroup served as controls. After 8 weeks thyroid glands were analyzed by ICP-MS for As, Br, Se, and I content. The exposition of rat to arsenic or bromine causes the accumulation of these elements in the thyroid gland ( approximately 18 ppm of As, approximately 90 ppm of Br) and significantly affects iodine and selenium concentration in the thyroid. In iodine and/or selenium supplemented rats the bromine intake into the thyroid was lowered to approximately 50% of the level in unsupplemented animals. Also selenium thyroid level elevated due to KBr administration was lowered by iodine supplementation in the diet. The accumulation of arsenic in the thyroid was not influenced by selenium or iodine supplementation; however, As(III) administration increased iodine thyroid level and suppressed selenium thyroid level in selenium or iodine supplemented group of animals.  相似文献

We have reported previously that escin Ib accelerated gastrointestinal transit (GIT) in mice, and that its effect may be mediated by the release of endogenous prostaglandins (PGs) and nitric oxide (NO). In this study, the possible involvement of 5-HT and 5-HT receptors in the GIT acceleration of escin Ib was investigated in mice. The acceleration of GIT by escin Ib (25 or 50 mg/kg, p.o.) was attenuated by pretreatment with ritanserin (0.5-5 mg/kg, s.c., a 5-HT(2A/2C/2B) receptor antagonist), but not with MDL 72222 (1 and 5 mg/kg, s.c.) and metoclopramide (10 mg/kg, s.c.) (5-HT3 receptor antagonists) or tropisetron (1 and 10 mg/kg, s.c., a 5-HT(3/4) receptor antagonist). Furthermore, pretreatment with ketanserin (0.05-5 mg/kg, s.c.), haloperidol (1-5 mg/kg, s.c.) and spiperone (0.5-5 mg/kg, s.c.) (5-HT2A receptor antagonists), as well as a bolus of dl-p-chlorophenylalanine methyl ester (PCPA, 1000 mg/kg, p.o., 1, 6 or 24 h before administration of the sample) (an inhibitor of 5-HT synthesizing enzyme tryptophan hydroxylase) and reserpine (5 mg/kg, p.o.) (a 5-HT depletor), but not 6-hydroxydopamine (80 mg/kg, i.p., a dopamine depletor) or repeated PCPA (300 mg/kg x2, p.o., 72 and 48 h before administration of the sample), also attenuated the effects of escin Ib. It is postulated that escin Ib accelerates GIT, at least in part, by stimulating the synthesis of 5-HT to act through 5-HT2, possibly 5-HT2A receptors, which in turn causes the release of NO and PGs.  相似文献

Rats were fed selenium-deficient (less than 0.005 mg selenium/kg) or selenium-supplemented diets (0.1 mg selenium/kg, as Na2SeO2) for up to five wks from weaning to assess the effects of developing selenium deficiency on the metabolism of thyroid hormones. Within two wks 3:5,3'-triiodothyronine (T3) production from thyroxine (T4) in liver homogenates from selenium-deficient rats was significantly lower compared with the activity in liver homogenates from selenium-supplemented rats. This decreased activity was probably responsible, in part, for the higher T4 and lower T3 concentrations in plasma from the selenium-deficient rats after 3, 4, and 5 weeks of experiment. Repletion of selenium-deficient rats with single intra-peritoneal injections of 200 micrograms selenium/kg body wt. (as Na2SeO3) 5 days before sampling reversed the effects of the deficiency on thyroid hormone metabolism and significantly increased liver and plasma glutathione peroxidase activities. However a dose of 10 micrograms selenium/kg body wt given to rats of similar low selenium status had no effect on thyroid hormone metabolism or glutathione peroxidase activity but did reverse the increase in hepatic glutathione S-transferase activity characteristic of severe selenium deficiency. Imbalances in thyroid hormone metabolism are an early consequence of selenium deficiency and are probably not related to changes in hepatic xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes associated with severe deficiency.  相似文献

Dietary selenium supplementation prolongs pentobarbital induced hypnosis   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
The present studies characterized the influence of dietary selenium (Na2SeO3) on the duration of pentobarbital (PB) induced hypnosis (sleep) in the rat. Rats were fed semipurified diets varying from 0.01 to 2.0 mg Se/kg for up to 4 weeks. Consumption of diets containing 1.0 and 2.0 mg Se/kg significantly prolonged PB induced hypnosis. Hepatic selenium, but not hepatic glutathione peroxidase activity, correlated with the length of PB induced hypnosis. The prolongation of hypnosis caused by diets containing 1.0 mg Se/kg was substantially reduced or eliminated by repeated exposure to PB. Although single exposure to increasing quantities of PB (60-100 mg/kg body weight) led to a progressive increase in sleep duration, the proportional increase caused by supplemental selenium (2.0 vs 0.1 microg Se/g) remained relatively constant (approximately 25%). Increasing maturity was inversely related to the duration of PB induced hypnosis, regardless of dietary selenium provided. Consumption of the 2.0 mg Se/kg diet prolonged PB induced hypnosis to a greater degree in immature than in mature rats (P < 0.05). Consumption of the selenium enriched diet (2 microg Se/g) resulted in an increase in cytochrome 2B, but had no effect on cytochrome 1A compared to controls (0.1 microg Se/g). Pretreatment of rats with P450 enzymes activators (i.e., PB, Aroclor 1254, or 3-methylcholanthrene) shortened the duration of PB induced sleep and masked the effects of dietary selenium. The current studies document that dietary selenium can influence the response to pentobarbital induced hypnosis and likely relates to changes in drug detoxification enzymes.  相似文献

The aim of the study was to define possible differences between selenite, selenate and selenium yeast on various aspects of selenium status in growing cattle. Twenty-four Swedish Red and White dairy heifers were fed no supplementary selenium for 6 months. The basic diet contained 0.026 mg selenium/kg feed dry matter (DM). After the depletion period the animals were divided into 4 groups; group I–III received 2 mg additional selenium daily as sodium selenite, sodium selenate, and a selenium yeast product, respectively. Group IV, the control group, received no additional selenium. The total dietary selenium content for groups I–III during the supplementation period was 0.25 mg/kg DM. After the depletion period the mean concentration of selenium in blood (640 nmol/l) and plasma (299 nmol/l) and the activity of GSH-Px in erythrocytes (610 µkat/l) were marginal, but after 3 months of supplementation they were adequate in all 3 groups. The concentration of selenium in blood and plasma was significantly higher in group III than in groups I and II, but there was no significant difference between groups I and II. The activity of GSH-Px in erythrocytes did not differ between any of the supplemented groups. The animals in the control group had significantly lower concentrations of selenium in blood and plasma and lower activities of GSH-Px in erythrocytes than those in the supplemented groups. The activity of GSH-Px in platelets was also increased by the increased selenium intake. There was no difference in the concentration of triiodothyronine (T3) between any of the groups, but the concentration of thyroxine (T4) was significantly higher in the unsupplemented control group.  相似文献

The uptake of dietary selenium (about 3.5 mg/kg AF dry wt) as selenomethionine, selenocystine, selenite, selenate, and fish selenium in the plasma and red blood cells (RBC) of the oystercatcher has been investigated. The birds received the various selenium compounds subsequently, for at least 9 wk. After dietary supplementation of selenocystine, selenite, and selenate, plasma selenium was about 350 μg/L and RBC selenium 2.1 mg/kg dry wt. After supplementation of selenomethionine, the plasma concentration increased to 630 μg/L, and the RBC concentration to 4.1 mg/kg dry wt. When the fodder contained 3.1 mg/kg fish Se, an average plasma and RBC concentration of 415 μg/L and 14.4 mg/kg dry wt, respectively, was measured. The maximal increase of the selenium concentration in the plasma was attained at first sampling, 14 d after a change in dietary selenium (selenomethione or fish Se); the uptake seemed to be a concentration-regulated process. RBC concentrations (γ in mg/kg dry wt) increased with time (X in d) according toY=a?be?cX . Fifty percent of the total increase was attained within 17d, suggesting that diffusion into the RBC played a role. The selenium concentration in the plasma was positively correlated with the (fish) Se concentration in the fodder; the RBC concentration (60 d after the change in diet) was positively correlated with the plasma concentration. When the diet contained fish Se, the blood selenium concentrations of the captive birds were similar to the concentrations measured in field birds. Fish Se is a yet undetermined selenium compound. The present experiment showed that fish Se differed from selenomethionine, selenocystine, selenite, or selenate in uptake from the food and uptake in the RBC.  相似文献

In Finland commercial fertilizers have been enriched with sodium selenate since July 1, 1984 in order to compensate for the poor selenium content of the soil. Fertilizers that are used for the production of hay and fodder were supplemented with 6 mg/kg of selenium, whereas fertilizers used for the production of cereals were supplemented with a higher dose, 16 mg/kg fertilizer. The effects of selenium fertilization were first seen in dairy products in June 1985, and from the beginning of August 1985, the effect was evident also in wheat flour, beef, and bovine liver. In this study the selenium status of 108 healthy young adults has been systematically documented since November 1985, at which time the mean selenium serum level (S-Se) was 1.05 umol/L. A steady increase was observed until November 1989, when the maximum level, with a mean of S-Se 1.6 umol/L was reached. After that, a slight decrease has occurred. The mean serum selenium level in autumn 1991 in a new group of 35 students was 1.58 umol/L. This decrease can be explained by the high amount of imported cereals in 1988 and 1989, which was reflected also in the serum selenium levels. The glutathione peroxidase activity in erythrocytes in 1989–1990 was at the same level as in 1985 and 1986.  相似文献

Expression of the membrane-bound cytochrome P450 2B4 by the pLW01-P450 expression vector, which utilizes a T7 promoter, is markedly improved by employing Escherichia coli strain C41(DE3) [Miroux, B., and Walker, J. (1996) J. Mol. Biol 260, 289--298; Bridges, A., Gruenke, L., Chang, Y.-T., Vasker, I., Loew, G., and Waskell, L. (1998) J. Biol. Chem. 273, 17036--17049]. Using this expression system, it was possible to routinely obtain an average of 50--60 mg and as high as 100 mg of cyt P450 2B4 per liter of cell culture in volumes of 500 ml. An improved purification procedure for cyt P450 2B4 is also described which allows recovery of 30% of the expressed protein. It was possible in one step using B-PER reagent and polyoxyethylene-9-lauryl ether to both lyse the E. coli and solubilize the expressed cyt P450. Cyt P450 2B4 with a specific content of 17 nmol/mg protein and a single band on polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis was routinely isolated. The yield of cyt P450 from the improved purification procedure is twice that from the original procedure and the purity of the recovered protein typically has a specific content of 17 nmol cyt P450/mg of protein.  相似文献

通过在大棚条件下盆栽芦荟,以不同浓度梯度的硒营养液作为外源硒,采用根系施硒和叶面喷洒施硒两种方式,分别在补硒后的不同时间段检测芦荟总硒、有机硒、芦荟苷、芦荟多糖、芦荟总氨基酸的含量,研究施不同浓度硒营养液对库拉索芦荟营养成分的影响。结果表明,在大棚条件下,使用400mg/L硒营养液叶面喷施时,库拉索芦荟硒富集效果最好,于叶喷后第一周期、第二周期、第三周期取样检测,总硒分别为:11.75、31.40和59.70mg/kg,有机硒分别为:8.99、27.00和52.60mg/kg;芦荟苷含量分别为2 690、1 830和4 350mg/kg,芦荟多糖含量分别为39.13、55.31和30.13mg/mL,氨基酸含量分别为0.41、0.47和0.63g/100g,该处理明显优于其它处理组。说明芦荟适当进行补硒会促进芦荟多糖、氨基酸的合成。  相似文献

在饲料中添加含硒化合物喂养黄粉虫Tenebrio molitor L.幼虫,测定幼虫硒含量、粪便硒含量和体重的变化,计算黄粉虫幼虫特定生长率及幼虫对硒生物积累系数,分析黄粉虫有效积累硒的条件。结果表明,饲料硒含量在15~20mg/kg时,幼虫硒含量明显提高,对硒的生物积累系数高于其它试验组水平,饲料硒含量过高,幼虫硒含量降低,正常生长受到抑制。黄粉虫幼虫特定生长率、取食量、排粪量、干物质含量随着饲料硒含量的增加而降低,死亡率、粪便硒含量随着饲料硒含量的增加而增大。饲料硒含量为15~20mg/kg时黄粉虫幼虫对硒的生物积累效果最好。  相似文献

SePP (selenoprotein P) is central for selenium transport and distribution. Targeted inactivation of the Sepp gene in mice leads to reduced selenium content in plasma, kidney, testis and brain. Accordingly, activities of selenoenzymes are reduced in Sepp(-/-) organs. Male Sepp(-/-) mice are infertile. Unlike selenium deficiency, Sepp deficiency leads to neurological impairment with ataxia and seizures. Hepatocyte-specific inactivation of selenoprotein biosynthesis reduces plasma and kidney selenium levels similarly to Sepp(-/-) mice, but does not result in neurological impairment, suggesting a physiological role of locally expressed SePP in the brain. In an attempt to define the role of liver-derived circulating SePP in contrast with locally expressed SePP, we generated Sepp(-/-) mice with transgenic expression of human SePP under control of a hepatocyte-specific transthyretin promoter. Secreted human SePP was immunologically detectable in serum from SEPP1-transgenic mice. Selenium content and selenoenzyme activities in serum, kidney, testis and brain of Sepp(-/-;SEPP1) (SEPP1-transgenic Sepp(-/-)) mice were increased compared with Sepp(-/-) controls. When a selenium-adequate diet (0.16-0.2 mg/kg of body weight) was fed to the mice, liver-specific expression of SEPP1 rescued the neurological defects of Sepp(-/-) mice and rendered Sepp(-/-) males fertile. When fed on a low-selenium diet (0.06 mg/kg of body weight), Sepp(-/-;SEPP1) mice survived 4 weeks longer than Sepp(-/-) mice, but ultimately developed the neurodegenerative phenotype. These results indicate that plasma SePP derived from hepatocytes is the main transport form of selenium supporting the kidney, testis and brain. Nevertheless, local Sepp expression is required to maintain selenium content in selenium-privileged tissues such as brain and testis during dietary selenium restriction.  相似文献

以紫色马铃薯品种‘黑美人’为试材,采用水培法,分别用不同浓度(0、0.38、0.19和0.095 mmol/L)纳米硒溶液对紫色马铃薯进行叶面喷施处理,研究纳米硒对紫色马铃薯生长、矿质元素含量及品质特性的影响。结果表明:(1)与对照相比,各硒处理马铃薯的生物量与单株结薯数均显著增加,其中喷施0.095 mmol/L硒处理的生物量最高且增幅达1.5倍,喷施0.19 mmol/L硒处理的单株结薯数显著增加2.2倍。(2)纳米硒能够显著提高紫色马铃薯叶片、根系、块茎硒含量,各器官硒含量大小呈现:根系>叶片>块茎的特点,且喷施0.095 mmol/L硒处理块茎总硒含量达0.106 mg/kg,较对照显著提高0.65倍,达到了马铃薯块茎的富硒标准;同时纳米硒可在不同程度上调控K、Ca、Mg、Mn、Zn在马铃薯各器官中的分配。(3)随施硒浓度的增加,紫色马铃薯块茎中淀粉、可溶性蛋白及游离氨基酸含量呈先增加后降低的变化趋势,均在喷施0.19 mmol/L硒处理下达到最大值,且较对照分别显著增加56.33%、26.91%和27.89%;块茎中花青素、可溶性糖含量呈下降趋势,均在喷施0.095 mmol/L硒处理下达到最大值,且较对照分别显著提高24.73%、25.33%;而块茎中硝态氮含量呈上升趋势,在喷施0.095 mmol/L硒处理下最低并较对照显著降低34.82%。研究表明,叶面喷施0.095~0.19 mmol/L纳米硒溶液能够显著促进紫色马铃薯生长和单株结薯数,提高硒元素含量,调控矿质元素含量在器官中分配,有效改善其块茎品质特性。  相似文献

This article describes a study in which four trace elements (Se, Mn, Cu, and Fe) were analyzed in the blood serum of the patients with colorectal cancer from the Moravian region of the Czech Republic. Atomic absorption spectrometry with graphite furnace atomization was used for analysis of selenium and manganese and with flame atomization for analysis of copper and iron. The observed serum concentrations in adenocarcinoma colorectal patients of selenium were significantly lower (41.8 ± 11.6 μg/L) and those of manganese (16.3 ± 4.5 μg/L) and iron (2.89 ± 1.23 mg/L) were significantly higher as compared to the age-matched control group. Copper serum content (0.95 ± 0.28 mg/L) did not significantly differ as compared to healthy population.  相似文献

PurposeThe prevalence of Keshan disease (KD) is low and has reached controlled or eliminated levels even in counties that had a high KD prevalence in the past. Few nationwide surveys on selenium levels in KD areas have been conducted in the past 2 decades. We conducted a cross-sectional study to investigate the selenium levels and their association with KD control and prevention in areas where KD is prevalent.MethodsWe collected 2143 human-hair, 698 soil, 701 rice, 607 flour, 521 corn, and 330 other-food samples from 49 counties with KD and 19 non-KD counties of nine KD provinces of China. The selenium content of samples was examined with hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry. The difference in selenium levels between the KD and non-KD areas was analyzed. Cochran–Armitage trend tests were used to evaluate the association between selenium levels and KD control.ResultsThe selenium levels in human hair, soil, staple foods, and other foods in the KD areas (0.2996 mg/kg, 0.1380 mg/kg, 0.0190 mg/kg and 0.0076 mg/kg, respectively) were lower than those in the non-KD areas (0.3700 mg/kg, 0.1930 mg/kg, 0.0240 mg/kg and 0.0165 mg/kg, respectively). The Cochran–Armitage tests showed that there was a trend for the selenium standard ratio in the counties to increase in the order of KD uncontrolled, to controlled, to eliminated (Z = 2.229, P < 0.05).ConclusionThe residents in the KD areas were found to be selenium-deficient. Improving the supply of staple foods containing selenium levels exceeding 0.025 mg/kg and abundant foodstuffs might contribute to KD control and prevention.  相似文献
