Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus niger group colonization of deep-plowed, decomposing rye green manure cover crops in peanut field soils was studied in four fields during 1972 and 1973; colonization of decomposing peanut fruits was studied in 1972 in two fields. A. flavus colonization of rye and peanut fruits was greater in soils of heavy texture, and an A. flavus population as high as 165 propagules per g of soil was observed in soil adjacent to rye, whereas A. flavus populations in soils not associated with rye were 18 propagules per g of soil or lower. Highest A. flavus populations in soil adjacent to decomposing peanut fruits were usually comparable to populations associated with rye. Little decomposing rye or peanut fruit colonization was generally observed by the A. flavus competitor, A. niger group. A. flavus may maintain or increase its inoculum potential by colonization of these and other moribund plant tissues.  相似文献

The distribution of entomopathogenic fungi in various geographical areas of Punjab, Pakistan, is poorly understood. The present study was planned to explore the occurrence and diversity of entomopathogenic fungi from soils collected from cultivated and non‐cultivated habitats. The detailed survey of different habitats (crop fields, fruits, vegetables, forests) was conducted to collect soil samples and the associated fungi were isolated using Galleria bait method. Among 210 soil samples, 168 fungal isolates were recovered and identified, with 98 from forests, 32 from vegetables, 30 from field crops and 8 from fruits. The major entomopathogenic fungi recovered from these samples were Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae, Paecilomyces lilacinus, B. brongniartii, P. chlamydosporia and Lecanicillium attenuatum. The diversity of entomopathogenic fungi was greater in soil samples from forests compared to crop fields, vegetables and fruits, respectively. The geographical attributes (altitude, longitude, latitude) greatly influenced the occurrence of entomopathogenic fungi with the highest number of isolates found from >600 m altitude, 33°–34′N latitude, and 73°74′E longitude from soil samples. The results of the surveys clearly indicated that the entomopathogenic fungi are distributed in the soils which may be used in successful IPM programs in future.  相似文献

为了研究三峡库区消落带农作区重金属镉的污染状况,对三峡库区典型支流-苎溪河消落带农作区耕作情况及镉污染状况进行了调查。结果表明:苎溪河消落带农作区土壤镉含量普遍偏高,均超过了国家土壤环境质量三级标准,远高于四川省土壤环境背景值,并存在中等程度变异,说明镉污染存在普遍性。相应地上作物不同部位对镉均有一定程度富集,叶的富集能力最大,而果实的富集能力相对较小。作物可食部分镉富集能力顺序为:蕹菜>香菜>花生>豇豆>绿豆。其中,香菜和蕹菜的风险商HQ值>1,暴露风险高,对三峡库区生态安全存在一定潜在健康风险。  相似文献

因耕作和侵蚀的共同作用,农田坡地景观多为坡上侵蚀、坡下沉积的空间格局,同时伴随侵蚀区和沉积区土壤有机碳(SOC)含量及稳定机制的差异.为探明长期耕作的农田黑土有机碳库积累-损耗特征,采用Stewart物理-化学联合分组方法,以典型黑土区不同开垦年限坡耕地为研究对象,探讨基于侵蚀-沉积作用的不同稳定机制碳库(游离未保护碳、物理保护碳、化学保护碳、生物化学保护碳)的分配特征.结果表明: 长期耕作与侵蚀导致坡下沉积区显著富积SOC,4种碳库含量整体表现为沉积区显著大于侵蚀区;黑土区坡耕地SOC以化学保护碳库和生物化学保护碳库为主(>90%),侵蚀区主要积累化学保护有机碳(84.6%),沉积区主要积累生物化学保护有机碳(51.4%);随着开垦年限的延长,4种碳库积累速率随着碳稳定程度的增加而增加,为生物化学保护碳库(48%)>化学保护碳库(42.2%)>物理保护碳库(6.4%)>游离未保护碳库(3.4%);游离未保护有机碳库占比和积累速率最小,但其对外界干扰最敏感,在黑土管理过程中应引起足够重视.  相似文献

参考美国EPA标准方法对南亚热带潮汕地区农业土壤中持久性有机污染物多环芳烃(PAHs)和有机氯农药(OCPs)进行分析,并对其分布和来源进行研究,最后探讨了不同种植方式下污染物的污染特征。结果表明:该区农业土壤中PAHs含量范围从22.1ng/g到1256.9ng/g,与其它地区的污染程度和一些土壤环境质量标准相比,该区处于中等污染水平。高温裂解是土壤PAHs的主要来源。OCPs在被禁止20a后在土壤中仍有残留,残留水平从4.6ng/g到1021.5ng/g,其中HCHs和DDTs的残留未超过国家土壤环境质量标准。早期使用残留是其主要污染源,但新近仍有DDT和硫丹的输入。PAHs和OCPs的污染主要集中在土壤表层和亚表层,且随着深度的加深,污染逐渐减少,但40cm以下,污染变化很小。菜地土壤PAHs污染水平低于稻田土壤,而OCPs污染水平高于稻田土壤。  相似文献

Toxicity induced by heavy metals deteriorates soil fertility status. It also adversely affects the growth and yield of crops. These heavy metals become part of the food chain when crops are cultivated in areas where heavy metals are beyond threshold limits. Cadmium (Cd) and nickel (Ni) are considered the most notorious ones among different heavy metals. The high water solubility of Cd made it a potential toxin for plants and their consumers. Accumulation of Ni in plants, leaves, and fruits also deteriorates their quality and causes cancer in humans when such a Ni-contaminated diet is used regularly. Both Cd and Ni also compete with essential nutrients of plants, making the fertility status of soil poor. To overcome this problem, the use of activated carbon biochar can play a milestone role. In the recent past application of activated carbon biochar is gaining more and more attention. Biochar sorb the Cd and Ni and releases essential micronutrients that are part of its structure. Many micropores and high cation exchange capacity make it the most acceptable organic amendment to improve soil fertility and immobilize Cd and Ni. In addition to improving water and nutrients, soil better microbial proliferation enhances the soil rhizosphere ecosystem and nutrient cycling. This review has covered Cd and Ni harmful effects on crop yield and their immobilization by activated carbon biochar. The focus was made to elaborate on the positive effects of biochar on crop yield and soil health.  相似文献

Cover crops are largely used in vineyard management to improve ecological services such as pest and weed control, soil protection from erosion and soil water balance. Few data are available about the effects of cover crops on soil fauna and, in particular, on important generalist predators such as Carabidae and Araneae. We compare the effects of five different cover crops treatments: Sweet Alyssum, Phacelia, Buckwheat, Faba bean and a mixture of Vetch and Oat. A three years experimental trial was developed in Northern Italy. Soil fauna was investigated using pitfall traps. Cover crops seriously affected soil fauna of most taxa. Higher abundance of predators, in particular Carabidae and Staphylinidae, was present in treatments with legumes (Faba bean and Vetch and Oat) while soil Araneae seemed not to be affected. No vineyard pests seemed to be positively affected by cover crops. We confirm the importance of cover crops in increasing soil predator abundance and consequently improving pest control.  相似文献

在广泛收集资料和实验分析的基础上,研究了广州市各种农作物系统与大气CO2交换.分析了各种农作物系统净生产力吸收CO2的能力和碳汇功能大小.结果表明:2005年广州市8种农作物系统作物净生产力吸收CO2 4 032 366t·a-1,其土壤CO2排放3981753t·a-1,吸收大于排放,对大气CO2而言,整个农作物系统是一个弱的碳汇;水稻、甘蔗、木薯和果用瓜4种连作或高杆作物系统每年作物净生产力吸收CO2量大于土壤CO2的排放量,系统具有较大的碳汇功能,花生、大豆、花卉和蔬菜4种矮杆作物系统每年作物净生产力吸收CO2量小于土壤CO2的排放量,系统起着碳源作用;果实或经济产量生长在地上部分的作物其单位面积吸收CO2能力比果实(块根)生长在地下的作物大;除花生在生育期间生物量吸收CO2量少于同期土壤排放以外,其余7种作物在生育期间生物量吸收CO2的量大于同期土壤排放,大多数农作物在生育期间具有碳汇功能,在撂荒期才体现碳源作用.  相似文献

Soil is an essential resource for agricultural production. In order to investigate the pollution situation of heavy metals in the soil-crop system in the e-waste dismantling area, the crop and soil samples (226 pairs, including leaf vegetables, solanaceous vegetables, root vegetables, and fruits) around the e-waste dismantling area in southeastern Zhejiang Province were collected. The concentrations of Cd, Cu, Pb, and Cr were determined. The average concentrations of Cd, Cu, Pb, and Cr in soils were 0.94, 107.79, 80.28, and 78.14 mg kg-1, respectively, and their corresponding concentrations in crops were 0.024, 0.7, 0.041, and 0.06 mg kg-1, respectively. The transfer capacity of leaf vegetables was significantly higher than that of non-leaf vegetables, and the accumulation of four heavy metals in crops tended to be Cd > Cu > Cr/Pb. The pollution index’s results revealed that the soil pollution degree under different land uses ranked as root vegetables soil > leaf vegetables soil > solanaceous vegetables soil > fruit soil. The carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks of heavy metal exposure were ranked as food intake > accidental ingestion > dermal contact > inhalation. The comprehensive non-carcinogenic risk was ranked as Cr > Cd > Pb/Cu. Our results could be used to provide useful information for further crop cultivation layout in the study area, which can guarantee the local residents’ health and food safety.

 海河流域14种农作物平均含磷量为0.127±0.053%,变化范围0.023—0.214%,不同器官中最高可达0.419%,最低仅为0.019%。对土壤库中磷输出量最大者为谷子,磷可达99.758±56.931kg·ha-1·a-1,其次是玉米和棉花;磷输入量以白薯为最大,为12.557±5.020kg·ha-1·a-1(但包括可食部分块根的输出部分在内),然后是谷子和花生,其余作物均较低,<2kg·ha-1·a-1。具高输出量的作物的部位有玉米、谷子、花生、棉花等果实,谷子、花生、白薯等茎叶;就输入量而言,除白薯为高输入和谷子为低输入类型外,其余均属很低输入型,上述特点揭示了海河流域因作物的收获而大量损失土壤库中的磷,如种植谷子、玉米、棉花等分别以99.758、32.661和26.591kg·ha-1·a-1的速率损失有效态磷。并对不同子流域作物磷的输出(入)量差异以及针对上述问题应采取的对策作了探讨。  相似文献

Insect pollination plays a vital role for the yield of many crops, such as apples, strawberries and coffee, which are economically significant commodities on the global market. Yet, knowledge about the role of insect pollination is lacking for many cash crops that support the livelihoods of small-scale farmers in developing countries.To assess if yields of watermelon are pollen limited, we conducted a supplemental hand-pollinated experiment (using a pollen mixture of cross and self-pollen) in 13 small-scale farms in an agricultural landscape in the Kilimanjaro and Arusha regions in northern Tanzania. We assessed fruit set, fruit abortion and weight of the mature fruits stemming from hand pollinated and control flowers. To check if differences in yield responses between hand-pollinated and control treatments depended on resource availability, we also accounted for local soil conditions.We found that hand pollination (i) increased the probability of fruit initiation by 30%, (ii) reduced the probability of fruit abortion by 13%, (iii) increased the probability of flowers developing into mature fruits by 42% and (iv) increased average fruit weight by 1.3 kg (±0.15 SE). Our results indicate that our system is pollen limited, due to insufficient visitor frequency and/or inefficient pollinator species.Fruit initiation and fruit weight were positively related to soil carbon, irrespective of treatment. The influence of soil moisture was not consistent across the measured responses, and differed between hand-pollinated and the control treatments.We suggest that farmers in our focal area should focus on improving the quality of the landscape to sustain and enhance healthy pollinator communities ultimately improving yields. We also suggest that farmers should continue current practices with respect to fertilization. The role of soil moisture on fruit initiation and maturation should be investigated to ensure that the positive effects of pollen is not hindered by soil moisture conditions.  相似文献

The characterizations of residue levels and sources of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) in soils are necessary to evaluate the potential pollution and risks of OCPs to the ecosystems and human health. A total of 51 surface soil samples were collected from peri-urban vegetable fields of Changchun and 13 OCPs were analyzed to learn the composition, spatial distribution and sources. The concentrations were in the ranges of 0.94–107.8 ng g?1 for DDTs, 0.89–98.3 ng g?1 for HCHs, 0.22–18.20 ng g?1 for Chlordanes, nd–4.49 ng g?1 for aldrin and nd–9.66 ng g?1 for dieldrin, respectively. The total OCPs concentrations ranged from 2.44 to 177.1 ng g?1 and the higher residues were mainly distributed in northeast and southwest sites, as well as sites along the Yitong River. According to the concentrations and detection frequencies, DDTs and HCHs were the most dominant compounds. Compositional analysis and principal component analysis suggested that DDT, HCH and chlordane in most soil samples derived from historical application except the slight fresh introduction at some locations. There exist a variety of OCPs residues in peri-urban vegetable soils of Changchun, but it is still safe and suitable for agricultural production for the most part, and some specific locations with high OCPs residues ought to be a cause for concern.  相似文献

黄土高原退耕还林(草)工程实施20年来,长期苹果种植导致了普遍的土壤干层和大量的硝态氮累积,严重制约了农业和区域经济可持续发展。因此,明确不同树龄苹果园改种粮食作物后对深层土壤干层恢复(土壤水分变化)、土壤硝态氮累积与运移的影响,对于黄土高原土壤质量改善和农业可持续发展具有重要意义。以渭北旱塬为研究区,选取10、15、20、30 a树龄的苹果园以及对应树龄苹果园改种为2、5 a和6 a粮食作物为研究对象,通过对比分析各样地0—10 m剖面的土壤含水量、土壤储水量和硝态氮含量的差异,基于空间换时间的方法定量评估苹果园改种为粮食作物后对于深层土壤水氮的影响。结果表明:(1)不同林龄苹果园改种粮食作物后土壤水分迅速恢复,在2年之内均可恢复到7.0 m左右深度。(2)改种后土壤储水量对于改种后土壤硝态氮累积量的直接影响最显著,不同林龄苹果园改种粮食作物后,土壤剖面中硝态氮随着土壤水分的恢复发生了不同程度的淋失。改种前苹果园种植年限对于改种后土壤硝态氮累积量起决定性作用,改种前林龄越长,改种后硝态氮累积量越大、淋失深度越浅。(3)土壤累积硝态氮的淋失滞后于土壤水分的向下运动。可见,不同林龄苹果园...  相似文献

Mycotrophy of previous crops has been shown to have an impact on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), and the growth and productivity of succeeding crops. We studied the impact of 3 years of cultivation of eight crops with different degrees of mycotrophy, including mycorrhizal (strawberry, rye, timothy, onion, caraway) and non-mycorrhizal (turnip rape, buckwheat, fiddleneck) hosts, as well as the impact of peat amendment, on the effectiveness, amount and diversity of indigenous AMF. A field experiment having a split-plot design with peat amendment as the main plot, crop cultivation as a sub-plot and three replications, was carried out on silt clay mineral soil in 1999–2001. A well-humified dark peat was applied immediately before establishment of the field experiment. Each year, the relative mycorrhizal effectiveness of soil collected in September, in terms of shoot dry weight (RMEDW), was determined in a bioassay. In the 3rd year of the experiment, AMF spores were also extracted and identified from the field soil. Expressed as the mean of 3 years of cropping in unamended soil, the mycorrhizal crops strawberry and caraway maintained RMEDW most effectively, while the values were lower in the non-host crops buckwheat, turnip rape and fiddleneck. In addition, the numbers of AM spores detected in soil were considerably greater during 3 years of strawberry cultivation. In soil under caraway, there were high numbers of AM spores compared to the other crops. In soil amended with peat, the situation was in some cases opposite of that of unamended soil; RMEDW was highest in rye and onion and lowest in strawberry and caraway. The reasons behind the negative impact of peat on mycorrhizal effectiveness in strawberry soil may be due to the microbiological properties of peat. The importance of including mycotrophic species in crop rotations for maintaining high soil quality and for increasing yields of subsequent crops is discussed.  相似文献

Several fruit fly species (Diptera: Tephritidae) are invasive pests that damage the quality of fruits in horticultural crops and cause significant value losses worldwide. Management of fruit flies mainly depends on conventional insecticides. Unfortunately, the application of synthetic insecticides has caused environmental pollution, risks for humans and animals, and development of resistance. Furthermore, controlling fruit flies by applying synthetic insecticides is challenging because fruit containing third instars often fall from the tree – subsequently the larvae leave the decaying fruits and pupate in the soil. Consequently, both larvae and pupae are protected from surface-applied insecticides in fruits and soil. So, there is a pressing need for more eco-friendly and selective control measures with new modes of action. Among such measures are entomopathogenic fungi (EPFs) and nematodes (EPNs). I gathered knowledge on past and present research about EPFs and EPNs as biocontrol agents against fruit flies to investigate approaches that may improve their capacities. I also highlighted several recommendations that may help future field studies on the suppression of fruit fly populations by EPFs and EPNs.  相似文献

研究不同的冬季作物马铃薯、黑麦草、紫云英、油菜在"冬季作物-双季稻"轮作种植制度下短期内对稻田土壤微生物碳、氮和微生物熵的影响,在湖南省土壤肥料研究所的实验网室内设置了小区试验.试验结果表明:几种冬季作物均提高了稻田土壤微生物碳、氮含量,黑麦草明显提高了土壤微生物量碳和微生物熵,紫云英明显提高了土壤微生物量氮.冬季作物对土壤微生物量碳和土壤微生物量氮的季节性影响变化趋势基本一致,紫云英、马铃薯处理的土壤微生物量C、N含量均在水稻生育期间8月中旬达到最大值.  相似文献

Parasitic specialization ofGeotrichum candidum citrus race, the causal agent of citrus sour rot, was investigated. Of seven isolates tested for pathogenecity, all could infect ten species of citrus fruits and edible parts of five species of noncitrus crops. Summary Seedling emergence in different crops was studied in the soil temperature range of 5°C to 45°C. In peas and turnips seedling emergence stopped at a soil temperature of 35°C and in other crops at 45°C. The minimum temperature for seedling emergence was above 10°C in case of cotton, sorghum, rice, maize and musk melon and above 15°C in case of squash, bottle gourd and okra. Winter crops like wheat, gram, peas, and turnips emerged at 5°C but the percent emergence was low. The optimum range for seedling emergence was narrower for vegetable crops as compared with cereals.  相似文献

The phytosociological researches which intent for studying the performance of weeds and the structure of weed assemblages associated with different crops derives their importance mainly from the adverse effect of weeds on crop productivity. Consequently, it is worth questioning about the ecological preferences of the weed growth in response to three main drivers for weed community structure associated with agronomic, and horticultural crops: crop diversification, crop seasonality, and soil type. A study area was selected comprising farmland of Nile Delta and its adjoining east and west territories, Egypt. A total of 555 species were recorded in 30 agroecosystems monitored and depending on species frequency/abundance values, 150 species were designated as the most influential weeds in weed community structure associated with agronomic and horticultural crops. The ecological preference of species for crop seasonality was evident through the results of Agglomerative hierarchical clustering. Three weed assemblage groups (WAG) identified: WAG A associated with winter agronomic crops, WAG B associated with summer agronomic crops, and WAG C associated with perennial agronomic crops and horticultural crops (orchards). Their diversity evaluated at different levels. The growth preference of the 150 species which were assigned as most influential weeds was gauged in response to the three environmental variables. 61 species were faithful to WAG A, 45 to WAG B, and 44 to WAG C. Concerning crop diversification, 34-species were significantly affected and scored coefficient of variation ≥ 100%. As for soil type, indicator species analysis revealed that 66-species show growth preference in fine grained soil while 84-species prefer coarse grained soil. In the three vegetation units (WAG A – C), 12 within-group associations (alliances) were specified of less-common (differential) species. The record of these alliances match to a specific environmental condition (ecological niche) and in them 29 strong indicators are identified. Redundancy analysis was used to extract and summarize the variation in species records in the response matrix (species vs. sites) that can be explained by the three different types of growth preference (explanatory variables), and the partial linear effect of them was evaluated by variation partitioning.  相似文献
