A new saponin, rivularinin, has been isolated from the ethanolic extract of Anemone rivularis (Ranunculaceae). The saponin was shown to be [α-l-arabinofuranosyl(1→2)-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl (1→4)-β-d-glucopyranosyl(1→4)-β-d-glucuronopyranosyl(1→3)]-3β-hydroxy-olean-12-en-28-oic acid.  相似文献

From the roots of Gundelia tournefortii seven saponins have been isolated mainly by DCCC. The main saponins (A and B) were characterized, mainly by 13C and 1H NMR spectroscopy, as oleanolic acid 3-O-(2-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 3) -β-d-gentiotriosyl(1 → 6) -β-d-glucopyranosyl]gb-d-xylopyranoside) (saponin A) and oleanolic acid 3-O-(2-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl] (1 → 3)-β-d-gentiobiosyl (1 → 6)-β-d-glucopyranosyl β-d-xylopyranoside) (saponin B). The other saponins are also derived from oleanolic acid and contain more sugar units. The saponin mixture and the saponins A and B possess strong molluscicidal activity against the schistosomiasis transmitting snail Biomphalaria glabrata.  相似文献

A triterpenoid saponin mixture (so-called quillajasaponin) obtained from the bark of Quillaja saponaria was treated with weak alkali and two major desacylsaponins were isolated. On the basis of chemical and spectral evidence, they were determined as 3-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-[β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 3)]-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl quillaic acid 28-O-β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1 → 3)-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-D-fucopyranoside and 28-O-β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1 → 3)-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)]-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-β-D-fucopyranoside. Diazomethane degradation providing selectively the 28-O-glycoside from the 3,28-O-bisglycoside was a useful method for the structure elucidation.  相似文献

A new furostane steroidal saponin was isolated from the leaves of Agave angustifolia var. marginata. On the basis of chemical conversions and spectroscopic analyses, its structure was established as 3-[O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-O]-[O-6-deoxy-α-l-mannopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1→2)-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-d-galactopyranosyl)oxy]-(3β,5α,22α,25R)-26-(β-d-glucopyranosyloxy)-22-methoxy-furostane (1). Results of preliminary biological investigations indicated that compound 1 showed significant protective effects against induced gastric ulcers using in vivo experimental models and demonstrated negligible toxicity on membrane integrity in the in vitro assays.  相似文献

Two diosgenin trisaccharides (A,B) and two furostanolic tetrasacharides of diosgenin (C, D) had been isolated from Dioscorea zingiberensis wright. By means of acetylation, acid hydrolysis, enzymolysis, IR, MS, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR, saponin A was proved to be a new compound of structure: diosgenin-3-O- [ β-D-glucopyranosyl (1 → 2) ]-O- [ α-L-rhamnopyra- nosyl (1→3)]-O-β-D-glucopyranoside was provisionally named zingiberenin A; saponin B may be suggested as the steric isomer of gracillin; saponin C was identified as 26-O-β-D- glucopyranoside of A and saponin D as 26-O-β-D-glucopyranoside of B. Saponins are amphiphilic glycoconjugates which give soap‐like foams in H2O. A new triterpenoid saponin, simenoside A ( 1 ), based on gypsogenin aglycone, and the known saponin 2 were isolated from Gypsophila simonii Hub.‐Mor. The structure of the new saponin was elucidated as 3‐Oβ‐D ‐galactopyranosyl‐(1→2)‐[β‐D ‐xylopyranosyl‐(1→3)]‐β‐D ‐glucuronopyranosylgypsogenin 28‐Oβ‐D ‐glucopyranosyl‐(1→3)[β‐D ‐glucopyranosyl‐(1→2)‐β‐D ‐xylopyranosyl‐(1→4)]‐α‐L ‐rhamnopyranosyl‐(1→2)‐β‐D ‐fucopyranosyl ester on the basis of extensive spectral analyses and chemical evidence. Saponins 1 and 2 were isolated from G. simonii for the first time.  相似文献
