The novel azoimine ligand α-acetyl-α-phenylazo-4-chlorophenylazomethine (L) was prepared and characterized. Its coordination chemistry to Ru(II) was investigated by the preparation and characterization of the complex trans-[Ru(bpy)LCl2] where bpy is 2,2′-bipyridine. A crystal structure of this complex showed that L is a bidentate ligand and coordinates to Ru(II) by azo-and imine-nitrogen donor atoms. Cyclic voltammetry and spectroelectrochemistry were performed on this complex and the visible region absorption bands assigned. L is shown to be a strong π-acid ligand.  相似文献

Complexes of type [M(tftb)2Ln] [M=Sr; n=1, L=tetraglyme (4), 2,3-benzo-10-aza-1,4,7,13-tetraoxacyclopentadeca-2-ene (batcp) (5), n=2, L=2,2-bipyridine-N,N (bipy) (6); M=Ba; n=1, L=tetraglyme (7), 2,3-benzo-10-aza-1,4,7,13-tetraoxacyclopentadeca-2-ene (batcp) (8); n=2, L=2,2-bipyridine-N,N (bipy) (9)] were prepared by in situ reactions of 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-(2-thienyl)-1,3-butanedione (Htftb) (1) with M(OH)2 [M=Sr (2a); Ba (2b)] in the presence of the ancillary ligands L (3a: L=tetraglyme; 3b: L=2,3-benzo-10-aza-1,4,7,13-tetraoxacyclopentadeca-2-ene (batcp); 3c: L=2,2-bipyridine-N,N (bipy)) in aqueous ethanol. The compounds were obtained in high yields and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, mass spectrometry and IR analysis. Molecular structure of the [Sr(tftb)2(batcp)] (5) has been determined by X-ray single crystal analysis.  相似文献

In our continuing efforts to explore the effects of substituent groups of ligands in the formation of supramolecular coordination structures, seven new CuII complexes formulated as [Cu2(L1)4(DMF)2] (1), {[Cu2(L1)4(Hmta)](H2O)0.75} (2), [Cu2(L2)4(2,2′-bipy)2] (3), [Cu2(L3)4(H2O)2] (4), [Cu2(L3)4(Hmta)] (5), [Cu2(L3)4(Dabco)] (6) and [Cu2(L3)4(Pz)] (7) with three monocarboxylate ligands bearing different substituent groups HL1-HL3 (HL1 = phenanthrene-9-carboxylic acid, HL2 = 2-phenylquinoline-4-carboxylic acid, HL3 = adamantane-1-carboxylic acid, Hmta = hexamethylenetetramine, 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, Dabco = 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2] octane and Pz = pyrazine), have been prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction. In 1, 2 and 4-7, each CuII ion is octahedrally coordinated, and carboxylate acid acts as a syn-syn bridging bidentate ligand. While each CuII ion in 3 is penta-coordinated in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry. 1 and 4 both show a dinuclear paddle-wheel block, while 2, 5, 6 and 7 all exhibit an alternated 1D chain structure between dinuclear paddle-wheel units of the tetracarboxylate type Cu2-(RCO2)4 and the bridging auxiliary ligands Hmta, Dabco and Pz. Furthermore, 3 has a carboxylic unidentate and μ1,1-oxo bridging dinuclear structure with the chelating auxiliary ligand 2,2′-bipy. Moreover, complexes 1-6 were characterized by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy.  相似文献

Reaction of [Ru(2,2′-bipyridine)(2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine)Cl]PF6 (abbreviated to [Ru(bipy)(terpy)Cl]PF6) with 0.5 equiv of the bidentate ligand L produces the dinuclear complexes [{Ru(bipy)(terpy)}2(μ-L)](PF6)4 (L = 4,4′-bipyridine 1, 1,4-diisocyanobenzene 2 and pyrazine 3) in moderate yields. Treating [Ru(bipy)(terpy)Cl]PF6 with equal molar of 1,4-diisocyanobenzene affords [Ru(bipy)(terpy)(CNC6H4NC)](PF6)2 (2a). These new complexes have been characterized by mass, NMR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy, and the structures of 1-3 determined by an X-ray diffraction study. Cyclic voltammetric studies suggest that metal communication between the two ruthenium ions increases from 1 to 2 to 3.  相似文献

Seven new mixed-ligand vanadyl complexes, [VIVO(5-Br-SAA)(NN)] and [VIVO(2-OH-NAA)(NN)] (1-7) (5-Br-SAA for 5-bromosalicylidene anthranilic acid, 2-OH-NAA for 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde anthranilic acid and NN for N,N′-donor heterocyclic base, namely, 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy, 1 and 5), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen, 2 and 6), dipyrido[3,2-d:2′,3′-f]quinoxaline (dpq, 3 and 7), dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine (dppz, 4)), were synthesized and characterized. X-ray crystal structure of [VIVO(5-Br-SAA)(phen)] revealed a distorted octahedral geometry with the Schiff base ligand coordinated in a tridentate ONO-fashion and the phenanthroline ligand in a bidentate fashion. Density-functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest a similar structure and the same coordination mode for all the other oxovanadium complexes synthesized. Biochemical assays demonstrate that the mixed-ligand oxovanadium(IV) complexes are potent inhibitors of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B), with IC50 values approximately 41-75 nM. Kinetics assays suggest that the complexes inhibit PTP1B in a competitive manner. Notably, they had moderate selectivity of PTP1B over T-cell protein tyrosine phosphatase (TCPTP) (about 2-fold) and good selectivity over Src homology phosphatase 1 (SHP-1) (about 4∼7-fold). Thus, these mixed-ligand complexes represent a promising class of PTP1B inhibitors for future development as anti-diabetic agents.  相似文献

The reaction of [ZnLI,II2] (LI = [NH2C(S)NP(O)(OiPr)2]; LII = [PhNHC(S)NP(O)(OiPr)2]) or [Cd2LIV4] (LIV = [PhC(S)NP(O)(OiPr)2]) with 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) leads to the heteroligand complexes [Zn(bpy)LI,II2], [Zn(phen)LI,II2], [Cd(bpy)LIV2] or [Cd(phen)LIV2], respectively. The introduction of the diimine ligands into the coordination sphere of the metal cation provokes a change from 1,5-O,S- to 1,3-N,S-coordination of the anionic ligands for Zn but not for the Cd species. The reaction of [Zn(phen)LIV2] (LIV = PhC(S)NP(O)(OiPr)2) with CH2Cl2 cleaves the chlorine atoms from CH2Cl2 and leads to the formation of [Zn(phen)LIVCl] and S,S′-bis(benzimidothio-N-diisopropoxyphosphoryl)methane (LIV-CH2-LIV) in high yields. Using CHCl3 or CCl4 instead of CH2Cl2 does not lead to the formation of chlorine substituted products even under reflux conditions. The new compounds were investigated by 1H and 31P{1H} NMR, IR spectroscopy and microanalysis. Crystal structures of [ZnLII2], [Cd(phen)LIV2]·CH2Cl2, [Zn(bpy)LI2] and [Zn(phen)LIVCl] were elucidated by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A new class of mononuclear metal complexes with 1-methylimidazole-2-aldoximate (miao) has been synthesized and characterized: trans-NiII(Cl)2(Hmiao)2 (1), trans-NiII(miao)2(py)2 (2), NO-trans-NiII(miao)2(phen) (3), and NO-trans-FeII(miao)2(phen) (4). The crystal structures of 2, 3, and 4 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. Compound 1 having the protonated miao ligand (i.e., Hmiao) is a precursor for synthesizing 2 and 3. Compound 2 is an octahedral NiII complex surrounded by two miao bidentate ligands and two monodentate ligands of pyridine in a trans-arrangement. Compound 3 is a cis-type octahedral NiII complex with two miao ligands and a bidentate ligand of 1,10-phenanthroline, in which the ligand arrangement around NiII center is found in an NO-trans form. Compound 4 is an isostructural FeII derivative of 3. Compounds 1, 2, and 3 exhibit paramagnetic nature with an S = 1 spin and a positive zero-field splitting, among which it for 3 is overlapped with intermolecular ferromagnetic interaction (zJ/kB = +0.16 K). Compound 4 is diamagnetic due to the existence of low-spin FeII ion.  相似文献

Three new homopolynuclear complexes with azido bridges have been obtained by using [Cu(AA)(BB)]+ building-blocks (AA = acetylacetonate; BB = 1,10-phenanthroline or 2,2′-bipyridine). The reaction between [Cu(acac)(phen)(H2O)](ClO4) and NaN3 leads to a mixture of two compounds: a binuclear complex, [{Cu(acac)(phen)}21,3-N3)](ClO4) · 2H2O (1), and a linear tetranuclear one, [{Cu(acac)(phen)(ClO4)}2{Cu(phen)(μ1,1-N3)2}2] (2). The reaction between [Cu(acac)(bipy)(H2O)](ClO4) and NaN3 affords also a mixture of two compounds: [{Cu(acac)(bipy)}21,3-N3)]3(ClO4)3 · 3.75H2O (3) and [Cu(acac)(bipy)(N3)][Cu(acac)(bipy)(H2O)](ClO4) (4). The X-ray crystal structures of compounds 1-4 have been solved (for compound 4 the crystal structure was previously reported). In compounds 1 and 3, two {Cu(AA)(BB)} fragments are bridged by the azido anion in an end-to-end fashion. Two isomers, cis and trans with respect to azido bridge, were found in crystal 3. The structure of compound 2 consists of two Cu(II) central cations bridged by two μ1,1-azido ligands, each of them being also connected to a {Cu(acac)(phen)} fragment through another μ1,1-azido ligand. The cryomagnetic properties of the compounds 1 and 2 have been investigated and discussed. The magnetic behaviour of compound 1 shows the absence of any interactions between the metallic ions. In the tetranuclear complex 2, the magnetic interactions between the external and central copper(II) ions(J1), and between the central metallic ions (J2) were found ferromagnetic (J1 = 0.36 cm−1, J2 = 7.20 cm−1).  相似文献

Synthesis and characterization of the ruthenium complexes [RuH(CO)Cl(κ1-P-PPh2Py)2(PPh3)] (1) and [Ru(CO)Cl2(κ1-P-PPh2Py)(κ2-P-N-PPh2Py)] (2) containing diphenyl-2-pyridylphosphine (PPh2Py) are described. Spectral and structural data suggested linkage of the PPh2Py in κ1-P bonding mode in 1 and both the κ1-P and κ2-P-N bonding modes in 2. The complex 1 reacted with N,N-donor bases viz., ethylenediamine (en), N,N′-dimethyl-(ethylenediamine) (dimen), 1,3-diaminopropane (diap), 2,2′-bipyridine (bipy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and di-2-pyridylaminomethylbenzene (dpa) to afford cationic complexes of formulation [RuH(CO)(κ1-P-PPh2Py)2(N-N)]+ (3-8) [N-N = en, 3; dimen, 4; diap, 5; bipy, 6; phen, 7; and dpa, 8], which have been isolated as their tetrafluoroborate salts. The complexes under investigation have been characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic and electrochemical studies. Molecular structures of 2, 3, 6, and 8 have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Further, the complexes 1-8 act as effective precursor catalyst in transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone/ketones in basic 2-propanol.  相似文献

Two Ni(II) pyridine-2-aldoximate complexes, Ni(pao)2(bpy) (1) and Ni(pao)2(phen) (2) (pao=pyridine-2-aldoximate, bpy=2,2-bipyridine, phen=1,10-phenanthroline), were synthesized via the deprotonation of NiCl2(Hpao)2 in methanol followed by the addition of bidentate ligands of 2,2-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline. Crystallization in CHCl3 gave block-type crystals of 1 and 2 in high yields. The mononuclear structure surrounded by three bidentate ligands, i.e., two pao and one bpy or phen, was revealed by X-ray crystallography: 1 crystallizes in monoclinic space group P21/c with cell dimensions of a=13.457(3) Å, b=14.493(3) Å, c=19.104(4) Å, β=108.681(3)°, Z=4, and 2 crystallizes in monoclinic space group P21/n with cell dimensions of a=14.235(5) Å, b=12.018(4) Å, c=20.696(7) Å, β=110.304(4)°, Z=4. 1 and 2 each have two oximate groups (pao), with an NO-trans arrangement around the NiII ion. Complexes 1 and 2 are racemic, namely, each molecule has a chiral center of Δ or Λ, thereby forming NO-trans-Δ and -Λ geometries in the solid state. Magnetic measurements revealed a paramagnetic S=1 spin state with a positive zero-field splitting parameter.  相似文献

Two new linear and V-shaped tetradentate ligands, namely 1,4-bis(2-hexahydropyrimidyl)benzene (L) and 1,3-bis(2-hexahydropyrimidyl)benzene (L), and their silver(I) complexes, [Ag2L(μ-ONO2)](NO3) · 2H2O (1), [Ag2L(μ-pn)](NO3)2 (2), [Ag2L(μ-pn)](ClO4)2 (3) and [Ag4L2(H2O)](NO3)4 · 5H2O (4) (pn=1,3-diaminopropane) have been synthesized in situ and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 and 2 were obtained from the same reaction solution but different crystallization conditions. 1 is an one-dimensional chain featuring cuboid tetranuclear silver(I) units interconnected through monoatomic nitrate bridges. Both 2 and 3 are ribbon-like helical compounds in which each L ligand acts in a tetradentate bridging mode to interconnect four metal atoms, and each pn ligand functions in a bidentate bridging mode to link a pair of metal atoms. 4 shows a truncated square-pyramidal tetranuclear motif arose by the V-shaped L ligand. Close Ag?Ag separations (2.901-2.939 Å) assisted by bis(hexahydropyrimidine) bridges were observed in 1 and 4, indicating metal-metal interactions. Photoluminescence of 1-4 has also been observed in the solid state and solution at room temperature and low temperature, respectively.  相似文献

In the title family, the ONO donor ligands are the acetylhydrazones of salicylaldehyde (H2L1) and 2-hydroxyacetophenone (H2L2) (general abbreviation, H2L). The reaction of bis(acetylacetonato)oxovanadium(IV) with a mixture of tridentate H2L and a bidentate NN donor [e.g., 2,2′-bipyridine(bpy) or 1,10-phenanthroline(phen), hereafter B] ligands in equimolar ratio afforded the tetravalent complexes of the type [VIVO(L)(B)]; complexes (1)-(4) whereas, if B is replaced by 8-hydroxyquinoline(Hhq) (which is a bidentate ON donor ligand), the above reaction mixture yielded the pentavalent complexes of the type [VVO(L)(hq)]; complexes (5) and (6). Aerial oxygen is most likely the oxidant (for the oxidation of VIV → VV) in the synthesis of pentavalent complexes (5) and (6). [VIVO(L)(B)] complexes are one electron paramagnetic and display axial EPR spectra, while the [VVO(L)(hq)] complexes are diamagnetic. The X-ray structure of [VVO(L2)(hq)] (6) indicates that H2L2 ligand is bonded with the vanadium meridionally in a tridentate dinegative fashion through its phenolic-O, enolic-O and imine-N atoms. The general bond length order is: oxo < phenolato < enolato. The V-O (enolato) bond is longer than V-O (phenolato) bond by ∼0.07 Å and is identical with V-O (carboxylate) bond. 1H NMR spectrum of (6) in CDCl3 solution indicates that the binding nature in the solid state is also retained in solution. Complexes (1)-(4) display two ligand-field transitions in the visible region near 820 and 480 nm in DMF solution and exhibit irreversible oxidation peak near +0.60 V versus SCE in DMSO solution, while complexes (5) and (6) exhibit only LMCT band near 535 nm and display quasi-reversible one electron reduction peak near −0.10 V versus SCE in CH2Cl2 solution. The VO3+-VO2+E1/2 values shift considerably to more negative values when neutral NN donor is replaced by anionic ON donor species and it also provides better VO3+ binding via phenolato oxygen. For a given bidentate ligand, E1/2 increases in the order: (L2)2− < (L1)2−.  相似文献

Two new ligand-containing histidine based on N,N′,N″-tris(N-benzyl-l-histidinyl)tri(2-aminoethyl)amine, L1, namely N,N′,N″-tris[(1S)-2-methoxy-2-oxy-1-(1-benzylimidazol-4-ylmethyl)]nitrilotriacetamide L2 and N,N′,N″-tris{N-benzyl-N-[N-benzyl-N-(N-benzyl-l-histidinyl)-l-histidinyl]-l-histidinyl}tri(2-aminoethyl)amine L3 were prepared. Zinc(II) binding studies by these ligand systems were analyzed by means of potentiometric and 1H NMR titrations in aqueous methanol (33 % v/v). Subsequently their zinc(II) complexes [L1Zn(H2O)](ClO4)2·HClO4 (1), [L2Zn(OH2)](ClO4)2·H2O (2), and ([L3Zn3(H2O)3](ClO4)6·3HClO4·5H2O (3), respectively were synthesized and characterized. The reactivity of the trinuclear complex (3) toward the hydrolysis of the toxic organophosphate parathion was investigated and compared with that of the mononuclear reference complex (1). From the pH dependence of the apparent rate constants, and the deprotonation constant (pKa) of the coordinated water molecules in (1), the active species were confirmed to be {[HL1Zn(OH)]2+/[L1Zn(H2O)]2+} at pH 8.5. The trizinc complex (3) effects hydrolysis of parathion, with three times rate enhancement over the mononuclear (1), indicating that cooperative action of the three zinc centers is limited.  相似文献

Three novel d10 metal coordination polymers, {[Cd(H2odpa)(phen)2]·H2O}n (1), [Cd2(odpa)(phen)(H2O)2]n (2), {[Zn4(odpa)2(phen)2(H2O)2]·H2O}n (3), (H4odpa = 4,4′-oxydiphthalic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) were obtained with different metal/ligand ratios through hydrothermal method and characterized. Compound 1 forms a one dimensional zigzag chain, in which two phen ligands chelate to one cadmium atom. Compound 2 shows a three dimensional network structure comprised of new tetranuclear cadmium clusters as the nodes and (odpa)4− anions as the linkers, exhibits an unusual topological structure. Compound 3 is an unprecedented three dimensional polymer based on octanuclear zinc clusters cross-linked by (odpa)4− anions. In 1-3, central CdII/ZnII ions and (odpa)4− ligand display completely different coordination modes and conformations. In addition, the thermal stabilities and photoluminescence properties of 1-3 were also studied.  相似文献

The new ligand N,N-(2-methyl-2-(2-pyridyl)propan-1,3-diyl)bis(tetramethylguanidine) (L) and its four-coordinate, distorted square-planar copper(II) complex [CuLCl2] (1) were synthesized and structurally characterized. Similarly, bis(μ-OH)dicopper(II,II) complex [Cu2L2(OH)2](OTf)2 (2) was synthesized and structurally characterized. The pyridyl group in L does not coordinate in either 1 or 2. New examples of μ-η2:η2-disulfido dicopper(II,II) complexes were synthesized by treating a copper(I) complex of either L or L′ [L′ = 2′,2′-(propane-1,3-diyl)bis(1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidine)] with elemental sulfur. [Cu2L2(S2)](PF6)2 (3) and [Cu2(S2)](PF6)2 (4) were both structurally characterized, and both structures have two copper(II) ions bridged by a disulfido ligand in a μ-η2:η2-manner. The ligands L and L′ coordinate in a bidentate fashion (like 1 and 2, the pyridyl ring does not coordinate in 3), and the geometry around the copper ions in 3 and 4 is distorted square planar. The metrical parameters of 3 and 4 were found to be similar to other μ-η2:η2-disulfido dicopper(II,II) complexes, and the Cu-S and Cu···Cu distances are among the shortest reported for this class of copper disulfide dimers.  相似文献

Four lanthanide coordination polymers, [{Ln2(bpdc)3(phen)2(H2O)2} · (H2O)6]n (Ln = Sm (1); Eu (2); Gd (3), Tb (4)), were self-assembled from 2,2′-bipyridine-3,3′-dicarboxylic acid (H2bpdc),1,10-phenanthroline(phen) and corresponding lanthanide oxides by hydrothermal synthesis. Compounds 1-4 are found to be isomorphous and isostructural. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies show that compounds 1-4 are all of one-dimensional zigzag chain structures and extend to two-dimensional networks through π-π interactions and hydrogen bonds. The pyridyl nitrogen atoms of the 2,2′-bipyridyl unit in the bpdc ligand are uncoordinated in an anti-conformation along the central C-C bond of the ligand. Thermogravimetric analysis of 1-4 showed an obvious thermal stability indicating that the coordination habit of the metal ions with bpdc and phen has an effect on the overall framework. Photoluminescence measurement indicates that compound 2 and compound 4 are strong red and green emitters, respectively.  相似文献

A chiral Schiff base N-(S)-2-(6-methoxylnaphthyl)-propanoyl-N′-(2-hydroxylbenzylidene)hydrazine (H2L) has been synthesized. Reaction of H2L with Cu(OAc)2 · H2O led to the formation of a metal complex {[CuL] · H2O · 2DMF} (1). In complex 1, the potential dinegative tridentate L2− ligand acting as tetradentate bridging ligand coordinate to two metal ions so as to form a novel infinite metal-organic coordination chain structure. The enantiomerically pure ligand H2L presents two different sets of signals in the 1H NMR spectrum either in chloroform solution or in dimethylsulfoxide solution, showing the presence of both (E) and (Z) isomers. The X-ray structural investigations of H2L revealed that it is the fully extended E-configuration in the solid state.  相似文献

Two oxime-functionalized diazamesocyclic derivates, namely, N,N′-bis(acetophenoneoxime)-1,4-diazacycloheptane (H2L1) and N,N′-bis(acetophenonoxime)-1,5-diazacyclooctane (H2L2), have been prepared and characterized. Both ligands (obtained in the hydrochloride form) can form stable metal complexes with CuII and NiII salts, the crystal structures of which were determined by X-ray diffraction technique. The reactions of H2L1 with Cu(ClO4)2 and Ni(ClO4)2 afford a penta-coordinated mononuclear complex [Cu(H2L1)Cl] · ClO4 (1) and a four-coordinated monomeric [Ni(HL1)] · ClO4 (2), in which the ligand is monodeprotonated. The ligand H2L2 also forms a quite similar mononuclear [Ni(HL2)] · ClO4 complex with Ni(ClO4)2, according to our previous work. However, reactions of different CuII salts [Cu(ClO4)2, CuCl2 and Cu(NO3)2 for 3, and CuSO4 for 4] with H2L2 in the presence of NaClO4 yield two unusual mono-μ-Cl dinuclear CuII complexes [Cu2(HL2)2Cl] · (ClO4) (3), and [Cu2(H2L2)(HL2)Cl] · (ClO4)2 · (H2O)(4). These results indicate that the resultant CuII complexes (1, 3 and 4) are sensitive to the backbones of diazamesocycles and even auxiliary anions.  相似文献

In order to further understand the coordination chemistry of diazamesocyclic systems, a series of mononuclear NiII complexes with 1,4-diazacycloheptane (DACH) functionalized by additional imidazole or pyridine donor pendants, including [NiL1](ClO4)2 · H2O (1), [NiL1Cl](ClO4) (2), [NiL2Cl](ClO4) · CH3OH (3), [NiL2Cl][NiL2](ClO4)3 (4) and [NiL3](ClO4)2 (5), where L1 = 1,4-bis(N-1-methylimidazol-2-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, L2 = 1,4-bis(pyridyl-2-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, and L3 = 1,4-bis-(imidazol-4-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, have been prepared and characterized. A detailed study on the solid structures and solution spectra of these complexes indicates that tetradentate ligands L1, L2 and L3 would lead to new NiII complexes with different coordination environments in the solid states and solution. The N-methyl substituted imidazole functionalized ligand L1 forms green compound 2 and yellow product 1; while the pyridine functionalized ligand L2 affords red product 4 and green complex 3; the ligand L3 results in only one stable mononuclear NiII product 5. The solution behaviors of these interesting compounds were also investigated by UV-Vis technique.  相似文献

Condensation of 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde and 1,9-bis-(2′-pyridyl)-2,5,8-triazanonane, L1, yields 1-[3-aza-4-(2-pyridyl)butyl]-2-(2-pyridyl)-3-[(2-pyridyl)methyl]imidazolidine, L2, as proven by NMR solution spectra. When L2 is reacted with Fe(III) in different alcohols, an imidazolidine ring opening and an oxidative dehydrogenation reaction occur resulting in new complexes of the type: [FeIILn]2+. Compound 1 with a coordinated L3′ ligand was obtained in n-propanol as a solvent. Compounds 2, 3 and 4 were obtained with L4′, L5′ and L6′ when iso-propanol, n-butanol and iso-butanol were used as solvent, respectively. The structures for 1, 2, 3 and 4 were determined by NMR solution spectra and additionally by X-ray crystallography in the case of the n-butoxy derivative 3. When Cu(II) was used, the hexadentate ligand L2 undergoes also an imidazolidine ring opening reaction on complex formation, however, now generating the well-known pentadentate ligand L1 that is coordinated to the metal ion, 7. Evidence is again provided by the corresponding X-ray structure. With Zn(II) the initial structure of L2 is maintained and in this case L2 functions as a tetradentate, 5, or bis-tridentate ligand, 6, depending on whether the stoichiometric ratio M:L was 1:1 or 2:1, respectively. This has been proven by a solid-state X-ray structure analysis as well as by NMR solution spectra. The ring opening reaction in the presence of Fe(III) can be explained as a result of a higher Lewis acidity of this metal centre, which decreases the electronic density on the nitrogen atom of the imidazolidinic cycle, thus weakening the nitrogen-carbon bond, favouring the nucleophilic attack on the carbon atom by alcohols and producing a more stable hexacoordinated species. Electrochemical evidence is provided in order to support this reaction mechanism.  相似文献
