A series of tridentate ligands consisting of mixed aromatic and aliphatic amine derivatives of single amino acid chelates and phenylpiperazine have been developed, and their reactions with [NEt4]2[ReBr3(CO)3] have been investigated. The compounds [Re(CO)3{(NC5H4CH2)NCH3(C2H4)NHCH3}]Br (4), [Re(CO)3{(NC5H4CH2)NCH3(C2H4)NCH3(CH2)xCOOC2H5}]Br (x = 1, 5; x = 4, 6) [Re(CO)3{(NC5H4CH2)NH(C2H4)N(CH3)2}]Br (7), [Re(CO)3{(NC5H4CH2)N(CH 2COOC2H5)(C2H4)N(CH3)2}]Br (8) and [Re(CO)3(NC5H4CH2)(C2H4NH2)N(CH2)3-CH3Ophenpip]Br (9) (phenpip: phenylpiperazine, -C6H4-(CH2CH2)2N-) were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, NMR, IR, HSMS and X-ray crystallography. All complexes exhibit fac-{Re(CO)3N3} coordination geometry in the cationic molecular unit. Mixed-ligand complexes [ReBr(CO)2(CNR)nL3−n] (1-4) [R = 4-CH3OC6H4, 4-CH3C6H4, C(CH3)3; L = P(OEt)3, PPh(OEt)2; n = 1, 2] were prepared by allowing carbonyl compounds [ReBr(CO)4L] and [ReBr(CO)3L2] to react with an excess of isocyanide. Treatment of these bromocomplexes [ReBr(CO)2(CNR)nL3−n] with SnCl2 · 2H2O yielded the trichlorostannyl derivatives [Re(SnCl3)(CO)2(CNR)nL3−n] (5-8). Trihydridestannyl complexes [Re(SnH3)(CO)2(CNR)nL3−n] (9-12) were prepared by allowing trichlorostannyl compounds 5-8 to react with NaBH4 in ethanol. The trimethylstannyl derivative [Re(SnMe3)(CO)2(CNC6H4-4-CH3){PPh(OEt)2}2] (13b) was also prepared by treating [Re(SnCl3)(CO)2(CNC6H4-4-CH3){PPh(OEt)2}2] with an excess of MgBrMe in diethylether. Reaction of the tin trihydride complexes [Re(SnH3)(CO)2(CNR)nL3−n] (9-12) with CO2 (1 atm) led to dinuclear OH-bridging bis(formate) derivatives [Re{Sn(OC(H)O)2(μ-OH)}(CO)2(CNR)nL3−n]2 (14, 15). The complexes were characterised spectroscopically (IR, 1H, 31P, 13C, 119Sn NMR) and by X-ray crystal structure determination of [Re(SnH3)(CO)2{CNC(CH3)3}{PPh(OEt)2}2] (10b).  相似文献

The reactions of 1 equiv. of the ligand 3-(ethoxycarbonylmethyl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-amino)-propionic acid methyl ester (2) with the Re(V) starting materials [ReOX3(PPh3)2] (X = Cl, Br) in refluxing chloroform yielded the Re(V)-oxo dihalide complexes [ReOX2{(C5H4NCH2)N(CH2CO2)(C2H4CO2CH3)}] (X = Cl, 3; X = Br, 4). The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, NMR and IR spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and X-ray crystallography. Complex 3 displays distorted octahedral coordination geometry with the tridentate ligand coordinating facially to the Re(V) center. The carboxylate oxygen atom occupies an axial site trans to the ReO bond. The two chlorine atoms consequently adopt a cis configuration.  相似文献

The reaction of [HRe3(CO)12]2− with an excess of Ph3PAuCl in CH2Cl2 yields [(Ph3PAu)4Re(CO)4]+ as the main product, which crystallizes as [(Ph3PAu)4Re(CO)4]PF6 · CH2Cl2 (1 · CH2Cl2) after the addition of KPF6.The crystal structure determination reveals a trigonal bipyramidal Au4Re cluster with the Re atom in equatorial position.If [(Ph3PAu)4Re(CO)4]+ is reacted with PPh4Cl, a cation [Ph3PAu]+ is eliminated as Ph3PAuCl, and the neutral cluster [(Ph3PAu)3Re(CO)4] (2) is formed.It combines with excess [(Ph3PAu)4Re(CO)4]+ to afford the cluster cation, [(Ph3PAu)6AuRe2(CO)8]+. It crystallizes from CH2Cl2 as[(Ph3PAu)6AuRe2(CO)8]PF6 · 4CH2Cl2 (3 · 4CH2Cl2). In [(Ph3PAu)3Re(CO)4] the metal atoms are arranged in form of a lozenge while in [(Ph3PAu)6AuRe2(CO)8]+ two Au4Re trigonal bipyramids are connected by a common axial Au atom.The treatment of [(Ph3PAu)4Re(CO)4]+ with KOH and Ph3PAuCl in methanol yields the cluster cation [(Ph3PAu)6Re(CO)3]+, which crystallizes with from CH2Cl2 as [(Ph3PAu)6Re(CO)3]PF6 · CH2Cl2 (4 · CH2Cl2). The metal atoms in this cluster form a pentagonal bipyramid with the Re atom in the axial position.  相似文献

Two new manganese(II) complexes, [Mn(L1)(L1H)(ClO4)(H2O)][ClO4]2·0.5CH3CN·H2O (1) [L1 = trans-(±)2-(2,5-di(pyridin-2-yl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-4-yl)pyridine)] and [Mn2(μ-L2)2(H2O)3(CH3CN)3][ClO4]4·2CH3CN (2) [L2 = cis-(±)2-(2,5-di(pyridin-2-yl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-4-yl)pyridine)], have been prepared and examined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, showing that complex 1 is a mononuclear compound, whereas complex 2 is a dinuclear species. The cis/trans isomers L1 and L2 have similar coordination properties, but behave as bidentate and tridentate chelating ligands, respectively, giving distorted octahedral metal coordination geometries. X-ray diffraction studies revealed that the molecular and crystal structures are stabilized by a series of intra- and intermolecular interactions. In both cases extended supramolecular networks are generated, in compound 1 through O-H···O, O-H···N, N-H···O, N-H···N, C-H···O, C-H···N, C-H···π and π···π interactions, and in compound 2 through O-H···O, O-H···N, C-H···O and π···π interactions. The observed structural differences between the two metal complexes might be a consequence of these stabilizing effects.  相似文献

The structures and spectroscopic properties of new Mn(II), Co(II), Cd(II), Hg(II), Ag(I), Rh(III), and Ir(I) complexes with the ligand BZLMH derived from 6-acetyl-1,3,7-trimethyllumazine (lumazine = pteridine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione) and benzohydrazide are reported. Complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic studies (IR, UV-vis, 1H, 13C and 15N NMR) and magnetic measurements. In all the complexes, the lumazine-derived ligand appears to be coordinated in either tridentate (N5, N61 and O63) or tetradentate forms (O4, N5, N61 and O63). The molecular structures of the [Co(BZLMH)(H2O)(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN and [RhCl2(BZLM)(CH3CN)] · CH3CN complexes, determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction, have allowed to corroborate both coordination behaviours.The cytotoxic activity of the free ligand and complexes against human neuroblastoma NB69 cell line is also described. The differential analysis of the initial cytotoxic screening data has shown good activity only for the [RhCl2(BZLM)(CH3CN)] · CH3CN compound at concentrations at around 2 μM; for the other complexes, a modulation of the cell growth was not found upon complexation, this non-specific effect strongly suggesting an apoptotic behaviour.  相似文献

Two 1D organic-inorganic coordination polymers, [Cd(3-pmpmd)(CH3CN)2(H2O)2]n · 2n(ClO4)2 (1) and [Zn(3-pmpmd)1.5(H2O)2]n · 2n(ClO4)2 · nCH3CN (2), were obtained from M(ClO4)2 (M = Cd, Zn) and the semi-flexible 3,3′-N-donor bis-pyridyl ligand 3-pmpmd: 1 has an 1D zigzag framework with 3-pmpmd in the ZT-mode (anti, trans-) conformation, while 2 has an 1D rod and loop network with 3-pmpmd in both ZT- and ZC-mode (anti, cis-) conformations. Results showed that the metal ions could influence the coordination mode of a semi-flexible bis-pyridyl ligand.  相似文献

The coordination capability of the octaaza 24-membered (L1) and the tetraoxotetraaza 28-membered (L2) macrocycle ligands - with different sizes, nature and number of the donor atoms - has been investigated with nitrate and perchlorate Cd(II) salts. The complexes were prepared in 1:1 and 2:1 Cd:L molar ratio. The characterization by elemental analysis, IR, LSI mass spectrometry, conductivity measurements and 1H NMR spectroscopy, together with the crystal structure of the complexes [CdL1](NO3)2 · 0.5H2O, [CdL1](ClO4)2 and [CdL2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN · H2O confirms the formation of mononuclear complexes in all cases. The [CdL1](NO3)2 · 0.5H2O and [CdL1](ClO4)2 present a mononuclear endomacrocyclic structure with the metal ion coordinated by the eight donor nitrogen atoms from the macrocyclic backbone in a square antiprism geometry. The complex [CdL2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN · H2O is also mononuclear, but the cadmium ion is in an octahedral environment coordinated by four amine nitrogen atoms from the macrocyclic framework and two nitrogen atoms from two acetonitrile molecules. The ether oxygen atoms from the ligand are not coordinated.  相似文献

The heterobimetallic Ru/Pt and Ru/Pd complexes [η5-C5H4CH2CH2N(CH3)2 · HI]Ru(PPh3)(μ-I)(μ-dppm)PtCl2 (7), [η5-C5H4CH2CH2N(CH3)2 · HI]Ru(PPh3)(μ-I)(μ-dppm)PtI2 (8), [η5-C5H4CH2CH2N(CH3)2 · HI]Ru(PPh3)(μ-I)(μ-dppm)PdCl2 (9), and [η5-C5H4CH2CH2N(CH3)2 · HI]Ru(PPh3)(μ-I)(μ-dppm)PdI2 (10) were prepared by the reaction of [η5-C5H4CH2CH2N(CH3)2 · HI]Ru(PPh3)I(κ1-dppm) (6) with Pt(COD)Cl2, Pt(COD)I2, and Pd(COD)Cl2, respectively. Electronic interaction between the two metals is significant for the iodide-bridged compounds 7-10, as evidenced by the shifts of their redox potentials in comparison to the mononuclear complexes. The electrochemical oxidation of methanol was carried out with heterobimetallic complexes 7-10 and leads to the formation of dimethoxymethane (DMM) and methyl formate (MF) as the major oxidation products. The chloride complexes 7 and 9 are the most active catalysts, as evidenced by their TON and current efficiencies. Addition of water at the beginning of the electrolysis results in increased formation of the more oxidized product MF along with higher current efficiencies and TON.  相似文献

Novel p-tolylimido rhenium(V) complexes trans-[Re(p-NC6H4CH3)X2(quin-2-COO)(PPh3)] and cis-[Re(p-NC6H4CH3)X2(quin-2-COO)(PPh3)]·MeCN have been obtained in the reactions of [Re(p-NC6H4CH3)X3(PPh3)2] (X = Cl, Br) with quinoline-2-carboxylic acid. The compounds were identified by elemental analysis IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The electronic structures of trans- and cis-halide isomers of [Re(p-NC6H4CH3)Cl2(quin-2-COO)(PPh3)] have been calculated with the density functional theory (DFT) method. Additional information about binding in the compounds [Re(p-NC6H4CH3)Cl2(quin-2-COO)(PPh3)] with cis- and trans-halide arrangement has been obtained by NBO analysis. The electronic spectra of trans and cis isomers of [Re(p-NC6H4CH3)Cl2(quin-2-COO)(PPh3)] were investigated at the TDDFT level employing B3LYP functional in combination with LANL2DZ.  相似文献

Reaction of ferrocenyl carboxylate H2bfcs with Cd(Ac)2 · 2H2O (H2bfcs = 1,1′-bis(3-carboxy-1-oxopropyl)ferrocene) gives the mononuclear tetrahydrate precursor Cd(Hbfcs)2(H2O)4 (1). Investigation on the substitution reactions of 1 with imidazole or 2,2′-bpy afforded two one-dimensional (1D) complexes {[Cd2(bfcs)2(C3H4N2)6] · 4H2O}n (2) and {[Cd(bfcs)(2,2′-bpy)(H2O)] · 2H2O}n (4) (2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine), respectively. However, the one-step reactions of H2bfcs, Cd(Ac)2 · 2H2O with imidazole or 2,2′-bpy result in the formation of two different 1D complexes {[Cd(bfcs)(C3H4N2)2] · CH3OH · 2H2O}n (3) and [Cd(bfcs)(CH3OH)]n (5). It can be seen from the results that applying different synthetic routes produce dissimilar complexes from however the same materials and under the same reaction conditions. In addition, investigations of differential pulse voltammetry of these four 1D complexes indicate that their half-wave potentials are slightly higher than that of H2bfcs.  相似文献

[1+1] macrocyclic and [1+2] macroacyclic compartmental ligands (H2L), containing one N2O2, N3O2, N2O3, N4O2 or O2N2O2 Schiff base site and one O2On (n=3, 4) crown-ether like site, have been prepared by self-condensation of the appropriate formyl- and amine precursors. The template procedure in the presence of sodium ion afforded Na2(L) or Na(HL) · nH2O. When reacted with the appropriate transition metal acetate hydrate, H2L form M(L) · nH2O, M(HL)(CH3COO) · nH2O, M(H2L)(X)2 · nH2O (M=Cu2+, Co2+, Ni2+; X=CH3COO, Cl) or Mn(L)(CH3COO) · nH2O according to the experimental conditions used. The same complexes have been prepared by condensation of the appropriate precursors in the presence of the desired metal ion. The Schiff bases H2L have been reduced by NaBH4 to the related polyamine derivatives H2R, which form, when reacted with the appropriate metal ions, M(H2R)(X)2 (M= Co2+, Ni2+; X=CH3COO, Cl), Cu(R) · nH2O and Mn(R)(CH3COO) · nH2O. The prepared ligands and related complexes have been characterized by IR, NMR and mass spectrometry. The [1+1] cyclic nature of the macrocyclic polyamine systems and the site occupancy of sodium ion have been ascertained, at least for the sodium (I) complex with the macrocyclic ligand containing one N3O2 Schiff base and one O2O3 crown-ether like coordination chamber, by an X-ray structural determination. In this complex the asymmetric unit consists of one cyclic molecule of the ligand coordinated to a sodium ion by the five oxygen atoms of the ligand. The coordination geometry of the sodium ion can be described as a pentagonal pyramid with the metal ion occupying the vertex. In the mononuclear complexes with H2L or H2R the transition metal ion invariantly occupies the Schiff base site; the sodium ion, on the contrary, prefers the crown-ether like site. Accordingly, the heterodinuclear complexes [MNa(L)(CH3COO)x] (M=Cu2+, Co2+, Ni2, x=1; M=Mn3+, x=2) have been synthesised by reacting the appropriate formyl and amine precursors in the presence of M(CH3COO)n · nH2O and NaOH in a 1:1:1:2 molar ratio. The reaction of the mononuclear transition metal complexes with Na(CH3COO) · nH2O gives rise to the same heterodinuclear complexes. Similarly [MNa(R)(CH3COO)x] have been prepared by reaction of the appropriate polyamine ligand H2R with the desired metal acetate hydrate and NaOH in 1:1:2 molar ratio.  相似文献

The first [Pd(Ln)2(ox)] xH2O oxalato(ox) complexes involving 2-chloro-N6-(benzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L1; complex 1), 2-chloro-N6-(4-methoxybenzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L2; 2), 2-chloro-N6-(2,3-dimethoxybenzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L3; 3), 2-chloro-N6-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L4; 4), and 2-chloro-N6-(4-methylbenzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L5; 5) have been synthesized by the reactions of potassium bis(oxalato)palladate(II) dihydrate, [K2Pd(ox)2]·2H2O, with the mentioned organic compounds (H2ox = oxalic acid; x = 0 for 1-3 and 5 or 2 for 4). Elemental analyses (C, H, N), FTIR, Raman and NMR (1H, 13C, 15N) spectroscopies, conductivity measurements and thermal studies (thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses, TG/DTA) have been used to characterize the prepared complexes. The molecular structures of [Pd(L2)2(ox)] (2) and [Pd(L5)2(ox)]·L5·Me2CO (5·L5·Me2CO) have been determined by a single crystal X-ray analysis. The geometry of these complexes is slightly distorted square-planar with two appropriate Ln (n = 2 or 5) molecules mutually arranged in the head-to-head (2) or head-to-tail (5) orientation. The Ln ligands are coordinated to the central Pd(II) ion via the N7 atoms. The same conclusions regarding the binding properties of L1-L5 ligands can be made based on multinuclear NMR spectra. In vitro cytotoxicity of the complexes 1-5 has been evaluated against human chronic myelogenous leukaemia (K562) and human breast adenocarcinoma (MCF7) cancer cell lines. Significant cytotoxicity has been determined for the complexes 3 (IC50 = 6.2 μM) and 5 (IC50 = 6.8 μM) on the MCF7 cell line, which is even better than that found for the well-known and widely-used platinum-bearing antineoplastic drugs, i.e. oxaliplatin and cisplatin.  相似文献

Reactions of H[AuCl4] with N-substituted 2-pyridine thiocarboxamide ligands 2-(C5H4N)C(S)NHR (R = p-C6H4Me, CH2Ph, Me, p-C6H4OMe) gave cycloaurated derivatives {(C5H4N)C(S)NR}AuCl2, with the ligand bonded as the thiol tautomer through the deprotonated SH group and the pyridine N atom to give a five-membered metallacyclic ring. The X-ray structure determination of the R = CH2Ph derivative shows a square-planar gold(III) complex that dimerises in the solid state by weak Au···S intermolecular interactions. In contrast, in the reaction of H[AuCl4] with 2-(C5H4N)C(S)NHR where R = 2-pyridyl, the ligand was oxidised to give a 1,2,4-thiadiazolo[2,3-a]pyridinium heterocyclic ring that was crystallographically characterised.  相似文献

A series of the first zinc(II) complexes of the general composition [Zn(Ln)2Cl2xSolv (1-5) involving kinetin [N6-furfuryladenine, L1, xSolv = CH3OH, complex 1] and its derivatives, i.e. N6-(5-methylfurfuryl)adenine (L2, xSolv = 2H2O, 2), 2-chloro-N6-furfuryladenine (L3, 3), 2-chloro-N6-(5-methylfurfuryl)adenine (L4, 4) and 2-chloro-N6-furfuryl-9-isopropyladenine (L5, 5), as N-donor ligands has been synthesized. The complexes have been fully characterized by elemental analyses (C, H, N), FTIR, Raman, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, conductivity measurements, thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal (DTA) analyses. Single crystal X-ray analysis determined the molecular structures of 2-chloro-N6-furfuryl-9-isopropyladenine (L5) and the complex [Zn(L1)2Cl2]·CH3OH. The Zn(II) ion is tetrahedrally coordinated by two chlorido ligands and two molecules of the L1 organic compound. The two ligands L1 are coordinated to the central Zn(II) ion via the N7 atoms. This conclusion can also be drawn from multinuclear NMR spectroscopic experiments.  相似文献

The preparation and crystal structure of a decametallic MnII carboxylate cluster containing neutral 2-pyridinealdoxime, (py)C(H)NOH, and its anion, (py)C(H)NO, is reported. The reaction between Mn(O2CPh)2 · 2H2O and (py)C(H)NOH in CH2Cl2, in the presence of NH4PF6, produces the complex [Mn10(O2CPh)12{(py)C(H)CNO}6{(py)C(H)NOH}2](PF6)2 · 2.6CH2Cl2 · 1.3H2O (1 · 2.6CH2Cl2 · 1.3H2O) in good yield. The cationic complex consists of ten MnII ions assembled together by four η1134 and two η1123 oximato(−1) ligands, and four η123 ligands to form an unprecedented core, where R = PhCO and R′ = (py)C(H)N. Peripheral ligation is provided by a combination of bridging benzoates and chelating (py)C(H)NOH ligands. Dc magnetic susceptibility studies reveal the presence of dominant antiferromagnetic interactions leading to a spin ground-state of ST = 0. A survey of the ternary reaction system is attempted with comparisons to previously reported complexes.  相似文献

The reactions of methyl 2-pyridyl ketone oxime, (py)C(Me)NOH, with MSO4 · xH2O (M = Zn, x = 7; M = Cd, x = 8/3), in the absence of an external base, have been investigated. The synthetic study has led to the two new complexes [Zn(SO4){(py)C(Me)NOH}(H2O)3] · H2O (1 · H2O) and [Zn2(SO4)2{(py)C(Me)NOH}4] · (py)C(Me)NOH [2 · (py)C(Me)NOH], and the coordination polymer [Cd(SO4){(py)C(Me)NOH}(H2O)]n · [Cd(SO4){(py)C(Me)NOH}(H2O)2]n (3). In the three complexes the organic ligand chelates through its nitrogen atoms. The sulfate anion in 1 · H2O is monodentate; the complex molecule is the mer isomer considering the positions of the aqua ligands. The ZnII centers in 2 · (py)C(Me)NOH are bridged by two syn, anti η112 ligands; each metal ion has the cis-cis-trans disposition of the coordinated sulfate oxygen, pyridyl nitrogen and oxime nitrogens, respectively. The molecular structure of 3 is unique consisting of two different linear and ladder - type chains. π-π stacking interactions and/or hydrogen bonds lead to the formation of interesting supramolecular architectures in the three complexes. The thermal decomposition of complex 3 has been studied. Characteristic vibrational (IR, Raman) bands are discussed in terms of the nature of bonding and the structures of the three complexes.  相似文献

Deprotonated 3-(4-nitrophenyl)-1-phenyltriazene N-oxide reacts with YCl3·6H2O and LnCl3·6H2O (Ln = Eu, Ho, Yb) to give the monoclinic chelate complexes [Y{O2N(C6H4)NNN(O)Ph}4](Et3NH)·H2O (1) (Ph = C6H5; Et = C2H5) and [LnIII{O2N(C6H4)NNN(O)Ph}4](Et3NH)·H2O·{CH3OH∗} {LnIII = Eu (2), Ho (3), Yb∗ (4), in which the metal centers present a square antiprismatic configuration. As already observed for hydrated ammonium complexes of triazene-oxides ligands with (C6H4)−NO2 groups, multiple, effective O···H and N···H interactions hold the species in supramolecular 3D assemblies. The optical and the luminescent properties of the triazene-oxide europium complex 2 are also presented and fully discussed.  相似文献

Self-assembly of 1,2-bis(3-pyridylcarboxylamide)benzene (H2bpb) with sulfate salts gave rise to three new coordination polymers, [Ni2(H2bpb)2(H2O)2(CH3OH)2(SO4)2]n · nCH3OH 1, [Co2(H2bpb)2(CH3OH)2(DMF)2(SO4)2]n · 0.5nH2O 2 (DMF = N,N′-dimethylformamide) and [Zn2(H2bpb)2(CH3OH)2(DMF)2(SO4)2]n · 0.5nH2O 3. They all crystallize in a monoclinic space group C2/c, with two crystallographically distinct metal nodes being surrounded by slightly distorted octahedra. There is a homologous chair-like unit with bridging ligand H2bpb as the back and bis(monodentate) sulfate anion as the seat in their crystal structures. Through the recognition of strong π?π stacking interactions between benzene rings, those chains formed by the unlimited extension of the chair-like units stack up to produce 1-D channels along c axis where lattice molecules and terminal ligands are accommodated. Interestingly, the trans,trans,syn achiral conformation with Cs symmetry of H2bpb which is further enforced by sulfate-bridged coordination and intramolecular hydrogen bonding in the chair-like units, controls over the assembling architectures. Further investigation on the thermal and fluorescent properties of complexes 1-3 shows that the homologous chair-like units in all complexes are stable enough until to 320 °C and that the fluorescence nature of H2bpb is not sensitive to its conformations.  相似文献

The compounds W(CO)5P(C6H4-4-CH2CH2(CF2)7CF3)3 (1) and W(CO)5P(CH2CH2(CF2)5CF3)3 (2) were synthesized in order to probe the electronic and physical effects of ligation by perfluorocarbon substituted tertiary phosphine ligands in a W(CO)5L complex. The π-accepting ability of the fluorous phosphines was found to rank with non-fluorous comparators as P(CH2CH2(CF2)5CF3)3 > P(C6H4-4-CH2CH2(CF2)7CF3)3 > PPh3 > P(p-tolyl)3 > P(n-octyl)3. The X-ray crystal structure of W(CO)5P(C6H4-4-CH2CH2(CF2)7CF3)3 shows strong intermolecular association of fluorous components but confirms that the para fluorocarbon subtituents have an insignificant effect on the tungsten coordination environment. Partition coefficients (toluene/perfluoromethylcyclohexane) were measured for compounds 1 and 2.  相似文献
