Two novel bimetallic coordination polymers, [Cu(en)2][Mn(dca)4] (1) and [Cu(pn)2][Mn(dca)4] (2) (en, ethylenediamine; pn, 1,3-diaminopropane; dca, dicyanamide N(CN)2), have been synthesized and characterized. Both of them consist of Mndca anionic chains and chelate cations of copper. 1 has a sheet like architecture built by the [Cu(en)2]2+ cations and the homoleptic trans-[Mn(dca)4 2−]n chains. 2 shows unusual 3-D threefold interpenetrating diamond-like structure constructed by [Cu(pn)2]2+ cations and the homoleptic cis-[Mn(dca)4 2−]n chains. The magnetic susceptibilities obey the Curie-Weiss law with weak antiferromagnetic interactions.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound [Fe(bpz)3](ClO4)2 · H2O (bpz=2,2-bipyrazine) has been determined by a single crystal X-ray diffraction study at 293(2) K. The complex is monoclinic, P21/c, a=17.263(3), b=9.983(2), c=17.921(4) Å, β=107.94(3)°, V=2938.3(10) Å3, Z=4, R=0.073 and Rw=0.118. The structure is made up of tris-chelated [Fe(bpz)3]2+ cations, uncoordinated perchlorate anions and crystallization water molecules. The iron atom exhibits a FeN6 distorted octahedral geometry with average Fe-N bond length and N-Fe-N bidentate angle of 1.962(5) Å and 81.6(2)°. The value of the Fe-N bond distance and that of the room temperature magnetic moment are in agreement with a singlet 1A1 ground state. The structure of 1 is compared to those of other tris-chelated iron(II) complexes with bidentate nitrogen heterocycles.  相似文献

The first crystal and molecular structure of a transition metal complex containing 1,2-dithiocroconate (1,2-dtcr, dianion of 1,2-dimercaptocylopent-1-ene-3,4,5-trione), [Cu(bpca)(H2O)]2[Cu(1,2-dtcr)2]·2H2O (where bpca is the bis(2-pyrdidylcarbonyl)amide anion), has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The compound crystallizesin the monoclinic syste, space group P21/c, with a = 11.661(3), b = 20.255(6), c = 8.265(3) Å, ß = 107.26(2)° and Z = 2. The structure is formally built of [Cu(1,2-dtcr)2]2− and [Cu(bpca)(H2O)]+ ions and water of hydration. The copper atom of the anion is situated at a crystallographic inversion centre, bonded to four sulfur atoms in a planar, approximately square arrangement. In the cation the copper equatorial plane is formed by the three nitrogen atoms of the bpca ligand and a water oxygen atom. In addition there is a very weak axial bond to one of the sulfur atoms of a 1,2-dtcr ligand in the anion. Through these latter weak bonds each anion is connected to, and sandwiched between, two cations, resulting in neutral, trinuclear, centrosymmetric formula units. The triple-decker molecules are arranged in stacks along the crystallographic a-axis creating close contacts between the terminal copper atoms and bpca groups of the neighbouring molecules. This intermolecular interaction is, however, too weak to define the structure as a chain compound. The distance between adjacent copper atoms within the trinuclear unit is 4.189(1) Å, while the shortest intra-stack metal-metal separation between terminal copper atoms is 5.281(1) Å. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements in the temperature r.2–140 K reveal that a Curie law is followed; with three non-interacting copper(II) ions in the formula unit.  相似文献

The novel ferromagnetic coupling one-dimensional complex {Cu(NIT3Py)2[N(CN)2]2(H2O)2} (NIT3Py=2-(3-pyridyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide) was synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c. The Cu(II) ion is in a distorted octahedral environment. The units of {Cu(NIT3Py)2[N(CN)2]2(H2O)2} were connected as one-dimensional structure by the intermolecular hydrogen bonds. Magnetic measurements show that there are intramolecular ferromagnetic interactions and intermolecular antiferromagnetic interactions within the chain.  相似文献

Two new rhenium(IV) mononuclear compounds of formula NBu4[ReBr4(OCN)(DMF)] (1) and (NBu4)2[ReBr(OCN)2(NCO)3] (2) (NBu4 = tetrabutylammonium cation, OCN = O-bonded cyanate anion, NCO = N-bonded cyanate anion and DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide) have been synthesized and their crystal structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system with the space group P21/n, whereas 2 crystallizes in the triclinic one with as space group. In both complexes the rhenium atom is six-coordinated, in 1 by four Br atoms in the equatorial plane, and two trans-oxygen atoms, one of a DMF molecule and another one from a cyanato group, while in 2 by one bromide anion and five cyanate ligands, two of which are O-bonded and three N-bonded, forming a somewhat distorted octahedral surrounding. Magnetic susceptibility measurements on polycrystalline samples of 1 and 2 in the temperature range 1.9-300 K are interpreted in terms of magnetically isolated spin quartets with large values of the zero-field splitting (|2D| is ca. 41.6 and 39.2 cm−1 for 1 and 2, respectively).  相似文献

The synthesis and properties of the copper(II) complex with dimethylaminomethylphosphine oxide as a ligand will be presented. The complex, with the formula [Cu(NO3)2(POC3H10N)2] 1, has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, SQUID and X-ray measurements. The X-ray structure was determined for the complex 1 and for the ligand dimethylaminomethylphosphine oxide (DMAO) 2. The single crystal X-ray structure of 1 shows that in the crystal the copper ions form distorted octahedral environment, consisting of two oxygen and two nitrogen atoms from the DMAO ligand. Additionally, one oxygen atom of each anion is semi-coordinated to the copper ion. The solid state magnetic measurements show that the complex 1 is paramagnetic with weak antiferromagnetic interactions in low temperatures.  相似文献

Copper(II) complexes were synthesized and characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR and visible spectroscopies, EPR and electrochemistry, as well as X-ray structure crystallography. The group consists of discrete mononuclear units with the general formula [Cu(II)(Hbpa)2](A)2·nH2O, where Hbpa=(2-hydroxybenzyl-2-pyridylmethyl)amine and A=ClO4 −, n=2 (1), CH3COO, n=3 (2), NO3 −, n=2 (3) and SO4 2−, n=3 (4). The structures of the ligand Hbpa and complex 1 have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Complexes 1–4 have had their UV–Vis spectra measured in both MeCN and DMF. It was observed that the compounds interact with basic solvents, such that molecules coordinate to the metal in axial positions in which phenol oxygen atoms are coordinated in the protonated forms. The values were all less than 1000 M−1 cm−1. EPR measurements on powdered samples of 1–3 gave g/A values between 105 and 135 cm−1, typical for square planar coordination environments. Complex 4·3H2O exhibits a behaviour typical for tetrahedral coordination. The electrochemical behaviour for complexes 1 and 2 was studied showing irreversible redox waves for both compounds.  相似文献

New mixed metal complexes SrCu2(O2CR)3(bdmap)3 (R = CF3 (1a), CH3 (1b)) and a new dinuclear bismuth complex Bi2(O2CCH3)4(bdmap)2(H2O) (2) have been synthesized. Their crystal structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. Thermal decomposition behaviors of these complexes have been examined by TGA and X-ray powder diffraction analyses. While compound 1a decomposes to SrF2 and CuO at about 380°C, compound 1b decomposes to the corresponding oxides above 800°C. Compound 2 decomposes cleanly to Bi2O3 at 330°C. The magnetism of 1a was examined by the measurement of susceptibility from 5–300 K. Theoretical fitting for the susceptibility data revealed that 1a is an antiferromagnetically coupled system with g = 2.012(7), −2J = 34.0(8) cm−1. Crystal data for 1a: C27H51N6O9F9Cu2Sr/THF, monoclinic space group P21/m, A = 10.708(6), B = 15.20(1), C = 15.404(7) Å, β = 107.94(4)°, V = 2386(2) Å3, Z = 2; for 1b: C27H60N6O9Cu2Sr/THF, orthorhombic space group Pbcn, A = 19.164(9), B = 26.829(8), C = 17.240(9) Å, V = 8864(5) Å3, Z = 8; for 2: C22H48O11N4Bi2, monoclinic space group P21/c, A = 17.614(9), B = 10.741(3), C = 18.910(7) Å, β = 109.99(3)°, V = 3362(2) Å3, Z = 4.  相似文献

A new complex of composition [Cu(2-NO2bz)2(nia)2(H2O)2] (1) (nia = nicotinamide, 2-NO2bz = 2-nitrobenzoate) has been prepared and its composition and stereochemistry as well as coordination mode have been determined by elemental analysis, electronic, infrared and EPR spectroscopy, magnetization measurements over the temperature range 1.8-300 K, and its structure has been solved, as well. The complex structure consists of the centrosymmetric molecules with Cu(II) atom monodentately coordinated by the pair of 2-nitrobenzoato anions and by the pair of nicotinamide molecules, forming nearly tetragonal basal plane, and by a pair of water molecules that complete tetragonal-bipyramidal coordination polyhedron about the copper atom. The complex 1 exhibits magnetic moment μeff = 1.86 B.M. at 300 K which decreases to μeff = 1.83 B.M. at 1.8 K. The magnetic susceptibility temperature dependence obeys Curie-Weiss law with Curie constant of 0.442 cm3 K mol−1 and with Weiss constant of −1.0 K. EPR spectra at room temperature as well as at 77 K are of axial type with g = 2.065 and g = 2.280 and exhibit clearly, but partially resolved parallel hyperfine splitting with AII = 160 G, that is consistent with the determined molecular structure of 1. In order to analyze the factors influencing the degree of tetragonal distortion of coordination polyhedron, the dataset of 72 structures similar to that of 1 was extracted from CCD and analyzed. A significant correlation between the average Cu-Oax bond length and tetragonality parameter τ which was found as a consequence of the Jahn-Teller effect.  相似文献

The first 1:2 metal complexes of 2-(2′-pyridyl)quinoxaline (L) have been isolated. The physical and spectroscopic characteristics of the compounds [MCl2L2] (M = Ni, Cu, Cd) and [CuIL2](PF6) are described. The structure of the copper(I) complex has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods. Crystals are orthorhombic, space group Pcnb with A = 11.014(2), B = 12.886(2), C = 17.806(4) Å, V = 2527.1(9) Å3 and Z = 4. Refinement of the structure gave a final R factor of 0.046 (Rw = 0.041) for 814 unique reflections having I > 2.0σ(I). The ligand L acts as a bidentate chelate, the ligated atoms being the pyridine nitrogen and the nearest quinoxaline nitrogen. The structure of [CuL2]+ consists of a distorted tetrahedral arrangement around the copper(I) atom with Cu---N bond lengths of 2.023(6) and 2.059(5) Å and the N---Cu---N angle of the chelating ligand equal to 80.6(2)°. A monomeric trans pseudo-octahedral stereochemistry is assigned for the [MCl2L2] complexes.  相似文献

Complexes I and II have no internal symmetry elements, III has an internal mirror and IV has a two-fold axis. Ab initio calculations based on the atomic positional parameters of complexes containing the three types of symmetry elements reveal HOMO orbitals to be dominated by the p orbitals of the iodine atoms whereas the LUMO orbitals contain major contributions from copper based p orbitals.  相似文献

A new dinuclear manganese(II)-azido complex: [Mn(2,2′-dpa)(N3)2]21 (2,2′-dpa = 2,2′-dipicolylamine) has been synthesized solvothermally. X-ray crystallography analysis reveals that it consists of two crystallographically independent dimeric manganese moieties; each manganese(II) atom is coordinated by one 2,2′-dipicolylamine, one terminal azido ligand, and double end-on bridging azido ligands, exhibiting a slightly distorted octahedral sphere. There are extensive short contacts among dimeric manganese moieties, which extend the structure into an interesting three-dimensional supramolecular array. Magnetic determination of 1 indicates that dominant ferromagnetic interaction and weak antiferromagnetic interaction, which are ascribed to the end-on azido bridges and the short contacts, respectively, co-exist in this complex.  相似文献

The synthesis, optical and magnetic properties and X-ray crystal structure of [Cu(2-aminopyrimidine)2(OH)(CF3SO3)]2(2-aminopyrimidine)2, a new dinuclear hydroxo-bridged copper(II) compound with a CuOCu angle of 97.96° and a very small antiferromagnetic interaction for which the singlet-triplet exchange parameter J, is described. The magnetic exchange coupling is almost negligible and, depending on the actual sample, varies from −1.8 to −7.2 cm−1.  相似文献

The mixed-valence compound [CuI(dmp)2][CuII(hfac)3] with dmp=2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline and hfac=hexafluoroacetylacetonate has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The MV interaction has been examined by emission spectroscopy. The phosphorescence of [CuI(dmp)2]+ is completely quenched. It is suggested that this quenching takes place by excited state electron transfer from Cu(I) to Cu(II).  相似文献

A trinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu3(2,5-pydc)2(Me5dien)2(BF4)2(H2O)2] · H2O 1, has been constructed from 2,5-pyridine-dicarboxylato bridges (2,5-pydc2−) and N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyl-diethylenetriamine (Me5dien) acting as a blocking ligand. The copper ions, within the centrosymmetric trinuclear cations, are connected by two 2,5-pydc2− bridges, with an intramolecular Cu···Cu separation of 8.432 Å. The central copper ion exhibits an elongated octahedral geometry, with semicoordinated ions, while the terminal ones are pentacoordinated (distorted square-pyramidal geometry). The cryomagnetic investigation of 1 reveals an antiferromagnetic coupling of the copper(II) ions (J = −5.9 cm−1, H = −JSCu1SCu2 − JSCu2SCu1a).  相似文献

Two new spin-crossover complexes, [Fe(Medpq)(py)2(NCS)2] · py · 0.5H2O (1) and [Fe(Medpq)(py)2(NCSe)2] · py (2) (Medpq = 2-methyldipyrido[3,2-f:2′,3′-h]-quinoxaline, py = pyridine), have been synthesized. The crystal structures were determined at both room temperature (298 K) and low temperature (110 K). Complexes 1 and 2 crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pbca and monoclinic space group P21/n, respectively. In both complexes, the distorted [FeN6] octahedron is formed by six nitrogen atoms from Medpq, the trans pyridine molecules and the cis NCX groups. The thermal spin transition is accompanied by the shortening of the mean Fe–N distances by 0.194 Å for 2. The mononuclear [Fe(Medpq)(py)2(NCS)2] and [Fe(Medpq)(py)2(NCSe)2] neutral species interact each other via π-stacking, resulting in a one-dimensional extended structure for both 1 and 2. There exist C–HX (X = S, Se) hydrogen bonds for both complexes. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements and Mössbauer spectroscopy reveal the occurrence of a gradual spin transition. The transitions are centered at T1/2 = 120 K for 1 and T1/2 = 180 K for 2, respectively.  相似文献

One-pot reaction between MnCl2·4H2O, K2tcpd (tcpd2− = [C10N6]2− = (C[C(CN)2]3)2− = 2-dicyanomethylene-1,1,3,3-tetracyanopropanediide anion) and 2,2′-bipyrimidine (bpym = C8H6N4) in aqueous solution yields the new compound [Mn2(bpym)3(tcpd)2(H2O)2] (1). The molecular structure of 1 consists of a centrosymmetrical binuclear complex which includes unprecedented unidentate tcpd ligands with two bidentate and a bis-chelate bpym units. Examination of the intermolecular distances reveals that the dinuclear units are held together by hydrogen bonds involving coordinated water molecules and two nitrile groups of the tcpd ligand, giving rise to a 2D structure overall. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility data show the occurrence of slight antiferromagnetic coupling (J = −0.58 cm−1) between the Mn(II) ions through bridging bpym (the exchange Hamiltonian being defined as ).  相似文献

Reaction of LaCl3·7H2O containing small amounts of La(NO3)3·7H2O as an impurity with 12-crown-4 or 18-crown-6 in 3:1 CH3CN:CH3OH resulted in the isolation of the mixed anion complexes [LaCl2(NO3)(12-crown-4)]2, [La(NO3)(OH2)4(12-crown-4)]Cl2·CH3CN and [LaCl2(NO3)(18-crown-6)]. The nine-coordinate dimer, [LaCl2(NO3)(12-crown-4)]2, has all of the anions in the inner coordination sphere and La3+ has a capped square antiprismatic geometry. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with (at −150 °C) a = 12.938(6), B = 15.704(3), C = 13.962(2) Å, and Dcalc = 2.08 g cm−3 for Z = 4. The second complex isolated from the same reaction, [La(NO3)(OH2)4(12-crown-4)]Cl2·CH3CN, has the bidentate nitrate anion in the inner coordination sphere but the two chloride anions are in a hydrogen bonded outer sphere. This complex is ten-coordinate 4A,6B-expanded dodecahedral and crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21 with (at 20 °C) A = 7.651(2), B = 11.704(7), C = 11.608(4) Å, β = 95.11(2)°, and Dcalc = 1.80 g cm−3 for Z = 2. The 18-crown-6 complex, [LaCl2(NO3)(18-crown-6)], has all inner sphere anions and has ten-coordinate 4A,6B-expanded dodecahedral La3+ centers. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with (at 20 °C) a = 14.122(7), B = 13.563(5), C = 19.311(9) Å, and Dcalc = 1.89 g cm−3 for Z = 8.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and characterization of [CuII(H2O)6][CuII2(nta)2(pyz)]·4H2O. It consists of two molecular entities, a cation and an anion, containing divalent copper. These entities are held together by an extensive network of hydrogen-bonding to form a framework with channels (along the a-axis) housing molecules of water. The latter can be reversibly removed by evacuation at room temperature to give another crystal phase. The compound undergoes a fast solid-state reaction with KBr. Magnetic susceptibility data fit well to the sum of those of a dimer with a singlet-triplet gap of 9.21(5) K and a monomer.  相似文献
