Two species of nudibranch molluscs are described from the northeastern Pacific Ocean on the west coast of North America. These are: a new aeolid species of Cuthona Alder & Hancock, 1855 (family Cuthonidae) from the Oregonian marine zoogeographical province and a new dorid species of Acanthodoris Gray, 1850 (family Onchidorididae) from the Panamic province in the Gulf of California. The internal anatomy and external features of each species are compared with related species. Differences in structure of the radula, reproductive system and other morphological aspects are described. A revision of the family Cuthonidae is included. Evidence is presented to include the genera Trinchesia Ihering, 1879, and Precuthona Odhner, 1929, within the genus Cuthona. Cuthona alpha Baba & Hamatani, 1963, is synonymized with Catriona columbiana (O'Donoghue, 1922). We consider the New World Cuthonidae to be composed of the following five genera: Catriona Winckworth, 1941; Cuthona Alder & Hancock, 1855; Embletonia Alder & Hancock, 1851; Tenellia Costa, 1877; and Tergipes Cuvier, 1805.  相似文献

Taxonomy of a tetrigid genus Teredorus Hancock is reviewed. Two new species, Teredorus parvipulvillus sp. n. and Teredorus hunanensis sp. n. are described from China and an updated identification key to all known species of the genus is given, as well as brief comments on phylogenetic relationships, biology and ecology.  相似文献

记述采自广西九万山地区悠背蚱属1新种,即拟毛股悠背蚱,新种 Euparatettix barbifemuraoides sp.nov..模式标本保存在陕西师范大学动物研究所标本室.拟毛股悠背蚱.新种 Euparatettix barbifemuraoides sp.nov.(图1~2)新种近似于Euparatettix gongshanensis Zheng,1992,主要区别为:1)头顶前缘不突出于复眼之前;2)沟前区侧隆线向后收缩;3)前胸背板侧缘在肩后略收缩;4)前足及中足股节下缘多长毛.新种与毛股悠背蚱Euparatettix barbifenura Zheng et Ou,2003,相似,但它的前胸背板后突超过后足股节的顶端及后翅超过前胸背板后突的顶端.正模♂,广西罗城(九万山),700m,2006-07-21,邓维安采;副模3♂♂;广西罗城(九万山),500m,2007-06-08.秦晶晶采.  相似文献

A new species of the apicomplexan genus LeucocytozoonBerestneff, 1904, L. artamidis n. sp., is described from the Australian avian family Artamidae. Gametocytes and endogenous stages of the life-cycle are described together with early erythrocytic and leucocytic developing forms rarely described for species of this genus.  相似文献

Summary. The little-known flower mantis genus Heliomantis Giglio-Tos 1915 (Hymenopodidae) distributed in South and South-Eastern Asia is revised. All species are redescribed. New data on the morphology, distribution and ecology are given, and all known specimens are listed. The lectotype of H. elegans (Navás 1904) is designated. Due to highly divergent morphology, H. latipennis Werner 1930 from Sarawak, Borneo, is transferred to Werneriana n. gen., leaving the genus Heliomantis with the only species, H. elegans (Navás, 1904).  相似文献

The morphology and postlarval ontogenesis of the radula in 11 species of the genus Dendronotus Alder et Hancock, 1845, has been studied. Four types of radula are recognized in adult mollusks. Proposed evidence suggests that small species of Dendronotus have evolved by progenesis.  相似文献

Catadiscus pomaceae sp. n. from the intestine of the prosobranch mollusc Pomacea canaliculata (Lamarck, 1801), is described. The host snail was collected from a lenitic biotope belonging to the Riachuelo basin (Corrientes province, Argentina) during 1985-1986. So far the species of the genus Catadiscus Cohn, 1904 have been recorded in amphibians and reptiles. This is the first instance of a species of that genus parasitizing a mollusc.  相似文献

One new genus (Rovnodidactylomyia Fedotova et Perkovsky, gen. n.) and four new species (Didactylomyia dlusskyi sp. n., Rovnodidactylomyia zosimovichi gen. n. et sp. n., R. sidorenkoi sp. n., and R. iconica sp. n.) are described from an amber sample of the late Eocene Period (Rovno District, Ukraine). Two species from a Baltic amber sample of the late Eocene Period, described earlier in the genus Bryocrypta, are attributed to the genus Rovnodidactylomyia (R. girafa (Meunier, 1904) comb. n. and R. capitosa (Meunier, 1904)). The first fossil species of the genus Didactylomyia is described for the first time; two contemporary Palaearctic species are recorded. Keys to the species of the genus Didactylomyia are given.  相似文献

A new species of cestode of the genus Linstowia (Cestoda: Anoplocephalidae) is described from marsupials of the genera Thylamys and Monodelphis. The new species (Linstowia schmidti) differs from Linstowia iheringi Zschokke, 1904, in having a much smaller strobila and reduced number of proglottids, and in the distribution of the eggs in gravid proglottids. In Bolivia, cestodes of the genus Linstowia appear to have a restricted geographic distribution, occurring in marsupials only in southeastern Bolivia near the western margin of the Chaco. This host-parasite association may represent an ecological-historical relict.  相似文献

The synonymity of some Amphiporus species is discussed. Amphiporus falklandicus Wheeler, 1934, A. pusillus Punnett, 1903, Nipponnemertes bergendali (Gering, 1912), N. danae (Friedrich, 1957) and Wheeler's specimens of A. gerlachei Burger, 1904 and A. lecointei Burger, 1904 are found to be synonymous with N. pulcher , while A. mesosorus Verrill, 1892, A. arcticus Punnett, 1901 and A. thompsoni Punnett, 1901 are separated from the discussion of synonymity with this species. A summary of the knowledge of the geographical distribution of N. pulcher is given. The species A. africanus Wheeler, 1940, A. magnus Punnett, 1903, A. marioni Hubrecht, 1887, A. schollaerti Wheeler, 1934 and A. scoresbyi Wheeler, 1934 are transferred to the genus Nipponnemertes Friedrich, 1968.  相似文献

The pseudoxyrhophiine snake genus Liopholidophis Mocquard, 1904 is endemic to Madagascar and consists of two distinct species groups. We performed molecular phylogenetic analyses using nucleotide sequences of c . 2200 bp from two mitochondrial genes (16S rRNA, cyt b ) and one nuclear gene (c-mos) to test the monophyly of the genus Liopholidophis and to investigate the relationships of the known species and an unidentified Liopholidophis population. Our phylogeny strongly supports the polyphyly of the genus Liopholidophis , confirms the monophyly of both species groups, and reveals that the unidentified population belongs to a new species. We therefore transfer the species of the former L. stumpffi group ( L. epistibes , L. infrasignatus , L. lateralis , L. martae , and L. stumpffi ) to a new genus Bibilava gen. n. and describe Liopholidophis dimorphus sp. n. from the rainforests of Montagne d'Ambre National Park in northern Madagascar. Finally, we compare our phylogeny with previous hypotheses and discuss the evolution of the extreme sexual dimorphism in tail length of Liopholidophis s. str.  相似文献

记述采自中国云南景洪的果实蝇属3新种和中国1新纪录种:滇黑寡鬃实蝇Bactrocera(Bactrocera)nigrifacia sp.nov.,哈迪氏果实蝇B.(B.)hardyisp.nov.,景洪果实蝇B.(B.)jinghongensis sp.nov.和黑颜面实蝇Bactrocera(Zeugodacus)vultus(Hardy,1973),3新种均符合DrewetHancock(1994)对桔小实蝇复合体的定义。模式标本保存于福建农林大学益虫研究所。滇黑寡鬃实蝇,新种Bactrocera(Bactrocera)nigrifacia sp.nov.(图1~4)新种与黑胫实蝇B.(Bactrocera)nigr of emoralis Whiteet Tsuruta相近,颜均为黑色,与后者的区别在于:2条平行的缝后侧黄色条终止于翅内鬃之前,第2腹背板橙棕色且前缘具黑色横带。正模♂,云南景洪,2010-09-02,Cue-lure引诱,张南南采。副模3♂♂,同正模。词源:新种种名根据颜面黑色而命名。哈迪氏果实蝇,新种Bactrocera(Bactrocera)hardyisp.nov.(图5~7)新种与印尼实蝇Bactrocera(Bactrocera)indonesiae Drewet Hancock相近,与后者的区别为:第3~5腹背板黑褐色,前足腿节黄褐色,且端部具黑褐色斑,中足和后足腿节为黄褐色,且端部具很短的黑褐色条纹。正模♂,云南景洪,2010-09-04,Cue-lure引诱,张南南采。副模3♂♂,同正模。词源:新种种名以双翅目分类专家DilbertE.Hardy的姓氏命名。景洪果实蝇,新种Bactrocera(Bactrocera)jinghongensis sp.nov.(图8~11)新种与基纳巴卢实蝇Bactrocera(Bactrocera)kinabalu Drewet Hancock相近,与后者的区别在于:缝后侧黄色条终止于翅内鬃之前,中足腿节端部1/2黑色。正模♂,云南景洪,2010-09-04,Cue-lure引诱,张南南采。副模4♂♂,同正模。词源:新种种名以模式产地命名。  相似文献
