中国种子植物特有属起源的探讨   总被引:70,自引:9,他引:70  
本文根据文献和调查资料,对于中国种子植物特有属(包括半特有属)进行了统计分析,着重根据现知化石资料和一些代表科属的系统发生,结合它们的地理分布探讨了中国特有属的起源问题,初步获得6点结论。主要是中国植物区系的特有性很高,种子植物中含有321个特有属和10个特有科(皆包括半特有的),约占全国同类属数的10%。包括系统发生和地理分布的各种类群。裸子植物特有属多发生于白垩纪或更早,被子植物古特有属主要发生于晚白垩纪及第三纪各时期,新特有属多发生于新第三纪及其以后,秦岭以南亚热带至热带山地是大多数特有属的分布和分化中心或发源地。即各特有属科主要起源于华南古陆和古地中海东岸,喜马拉雅造山运动和青藏高原的隆起,对于中国特有属的形成、发展和分布有重要影响。  相似文献

一些东亚特有种子植物的化石历史及其植物地理学意义   总被引:9,自引:2,他引:7  
特有植物在植物区系地理的研究中有重要意义,不同等级的特有植物往往成为不同等级植物区系分区的重要依据。查明东亚特有植物的地史渊源对于揭示东亚植物区的特征与性质,理解中国植物区系及东亚植物发生和演变都有重要的意义。本文在现有资料的基础上,分析总结了东亚植物区系中有化石记录的银杏科、杜仲科、连香树科、大血藤科和昆栏树科等5个特有科,水杉等21个特有属的化石历史。从这些特有植物化石历史的分析可以发现,东亚植物的特有植物从来源上可以分为北极-第三纪,北热带,和就地起源等3种类型,特有植物的来源表明东亚植物区系是一个来源复杂的植物区系。尽管各种特有类群的地质历史各不相同,但是都经历了从广布到分布区逐步缩小,最后形成特有的过程。大部分特有类群形成特有的时间是在上新世末到第四纪初。根据特有类群划分区系等级的原则,东亚现代植物区系最终形成的时间应该是上新世末到第四纪初。  相似文献

本文统计了广西植物区系的特有属和特有种.分析了广西植物区系的特有现象.结果表明.广西植物区系有中国种子植物特有属61个.占中国种子植物特有属总数的23.7%;其中广西本地特有属12个.特有程度仅次于有15个省级特有属的云南。广西植物区系共有696个被子植物特有种.隶属于104科285属.它们有着强烈的热带亚热带性质.石灰岩山地的特有化发展则是广西植物区系的另一个显著特征,在696个特有种中.有230种为石灰岩山地专性特有种。这种石灰岩的特有化发展在苦苣苔科中表现得尤为显著。  相似文献

对传统“特有”概念作了补充说明,确认四川有中国种子植物特有类群129属,12个特有科,在国产特有类群中占有较大比例。生活型虽然以草本为主,但高比例(近1/3)的木本类型以及木本类型多为原始的古特有成分却反映出植物区系的古老性和悠久发展历史。地理分布以盆地四周山地最丰富,西部高原和盆地中部缺乏或少有特有科、属。总体上可划分为3个分布中心区,包括西南区、东南区和东北区。新特有成分以西南区较多,而古特有成分大多集中中东南区和东北区。特有属与邻近地区的相似性还反映了四川植物区系和邻近地区植物区系的整体性。丰富的特有科、属同时也反映出四川种子植物区系的多样性。  相似文献

对中国植物区系中的239个特有属,分属67个科,进行了分析研究,列出了这些特有属在种子植物各个科的分布,现代地理分布范围。结果表明含特有属在10个以上的有5个科即Gesneriaceae,Compositae,Labiatae,Cruiciferae,Umbelliferae;其中以Gesneriaceae居榜首(27属),Compositae位居第二(20属),Labiatae有12属,居第三。含2属的科有15个,含1属的科有30个;其中Ginkgaceae,Davidiaceae,Eucommiaceae,Acanthochlamydaceae组成了中国植物区系最具古老性、特有性和代表性的4个单型科。在此基础上,从特有属在被子植物八纲系统各个纲的分布特点,以及在各个科组成和系统关系及已有地质、化石历史和系统学,形态,分子证据论述了这些特有属的起源、系统关系及在植物地理上的关系。在裸子植物中,特有属最为丰富,几乎皆是地质历史上北极-第三纪成分的残遗,起源时间较早,可追溯到白垩纪或更早。被子植物中,中国特有属存在于八纲被子植物的所有纲中,几乎在现代被子植物各个演化阶段均有古老残遗的特有类群存在,同时也不乏新特有类群尤其是在演化的高级阶段的类群。从起源上看,被子植物的古特有属主要发生于晚白垩纪和早第三纪,地质历史上大都占有广阔的分布区;新特有属多发生在新第三纪以后。其源头主要是北极第三纪、古热带第三纪(冈瓦纳第三纪)和古地中海第三纪的奇妙结合,不少类群是就地起源的;特有性是在第三纪中晚期以后北半球气候变迁,迁移途径(如北大西洋陆桥和白令陆桥)中断后形成的,这一时期是我国特有属形成发展的起始标志。  相似文献

怒江是我国西南地区重要的大河之一,研究其河谷植物区系特有现象对于认识该区植物区系的特点、发生和演变以及生物多样性保护等具有十分重要的意义。本文采用样方调查和样线调查法,沿怒江河谷从最南端的中缅边境(木城)到滇藏交界地区(秋那桶)对云南怒江河谷的种子植物进行了实地调查,并通过查阅文献和标本鉴定,统计得到该区域野生种子植物164科776属1718种。其中东亚特有科4科,中国特有属1属,中国特有种316种(含68种云南特有种,包括怒江河谷特有种3种)。对该区域种子植物区系及特有性研究结果显示,其种子植物区系地理成分复杂,与其他地区植物区系联系广泛,并具有强烈的热带性;该区域种子植物科、属、种的特有性均不显著,科级特有现象表明本区系属于东亚植物区系的一部分;本区域的中国特有种在云南层面与滇西南、滇西北联系密切,在全国层面与南方与西南关系密切,在东亚层面与中国-喜马拉雅地区联系最为紧密。  相似文献

地处桂西南的那坡县迄今计有种子植物174科,889属,2201种。其中东亚特有科5个,中国特有属15个,那坡特有种39个。这一地区不仅植物种类丰富,而且特有现象较为显著。在15个中国特有属中,1属为那坡本地的的特有属,4属为苦苣苔科植物。中国特有种的各亚型以及39个那坡特有种所隶属的分布区类型的分析均表明,该植物区系具有强烈的热带亚洲特色。石灰岩山地的特有文化发展则是那坡植物区系的另一个显著特征,这种特有化发展在苦苣苔科中表现得尤为显著。  相似文献

海南鹦哥岭保存了我国华南地区面积最大和最原始的热带雨林。2003–2006年间, 作者通过近4个月的野外调查, 对该地区植物物种多样性进行了研究, 以期阐明其种子植物区系组成及其在中国植物物种多样性研究及保育中的重要性。结果如下: 该地区共有野生种子植物173科825属1,706种(含变种)。该地植物区系成分热带性质较强, 在属的水平上, 泛热带和热带亚洲成分占优势, 各占非世界属总数的25.28%和32.36%; 中国特有属8个, 占非世界属总数的1.01%, 其中海南特有属2个, 分别为多核果属(Pyrenocarpa)、盾叶苣苔属(Metapetrocosmea)。在种的水平上, 热带成分占非世界种总数的70.50%, 处于明显优势地位; 中国特有种474种, 占非世界种总数的28.42%, 其中海南特有种149种, 占中国特有种的31.44%。鹦哥岭的植物区系在组成上具有较强的特殊性, 主要表现在不但具有较多的特殊类群, 而且是亚热带植物种类与典型热带植物种类、干热性植物种类与湿热性植物种类相互渗透的交汇地带, 在植物区系地理研究方面具有重要意义。最后作者还讨论了该地区与邻近4个地区植物区系的联系, 认为鹦哥岭与吊罗山的种子植物区系相似性最大, 而与鼎湖山、西双版纳的种子植物区系相比, 鹦哥岭表现出更强的热带性。  相似文献

种及种下特有现象的研究,对于认识特定的山地条件下的植物区系及生物多样性具有一定的理论和实践意义。峨眉山古老的生物地质历史,复杂多样的环境因素组合是形成区域性特有植物类群的共同背景。当地区域性特有种子植物及种下等级约有67个,占当地种子植物种类的2.8%。其植物区系表现了以温性为主,热性为辅,中国特有属中地区性特有种较高的特征。同时,当地特有种分化强烈,不少特有种具备残遗-分化复合性特征。峨眉山特有种子植物的垂直分布,以海拔1000~1700 m(~2000 m)的中低山区为集中,71.6%的种群垂直分布幅小于400 m。多数特有种子植物,尤其是草本植物为阴性或耐阴性的变类群。上述特有种的形成与演化同历史环境要素存在不同程度的因果关系,而与自身的竞争繁殖与传播能力存在必然的内在联系。  相似文献

The Poaceae family includes approximately 700 genera and 10000 species, and Mexico is considered one of its most important centers of diversity and endemism. A total of 256 taxa (including 16 subspecific taxonomic units), belonging to 65 genera, are endemic to Mexico. Some of them are close relatives of important crops, while others are used in different ways all over the country. The aim of this paper is to discuss the distribution patterns at state level of the Mexican endemic species of Poaceae. Using cluster strategies, the states are classified according to their floristic similarities. Later, hotspots of endemism are identified, in order to discuss their role in conservation strategies. To evaluate the importance of each state in the conservation of the Mexican endemic Poaceae, two iterative complementarity methods were also used. Our results show that the largest concentration of endemic taxa occurs in a few states, such as Jalisco, Mexico, Michoacán, Durango, Oaxaca, Veracruz, San Luis Potosi, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Puebla, and Coahuila. The results also show that there are some patterns in the relationship to its endemism that seem to reflect important diversification trends in the family. Accordingly, 31% of the grass genera of Mexico have at least one endemic species, and 16.7% of the genera have only one endemic species. In contrast, six genera contribute 47.2% of the total number of grass endemics in Mexico. The Chloridoideae contributes 42.9% of the total grass endemic species of Mexico, whereas the Panicoideae includes 24.6%, and the Pooideae 19.8%. Thus, these three subfamilies contribute about 87% of the species endemism. On the basis of the habitat and distribution patterns of these subfamilies, two main areas of endemicity can be identified. The first area is located in warm habitats, whereas the second is related to temperate and high regions. The cluster analyses indicate the occurrence of four state groups whose phytogeographical explanation is discussed on the basis of a floristic regionalization of Mexico. The results also indicate the need to establish a relatively high number of sites and states for the conservation of 256 endemic taxa. The elevated number of sites required to conserve the Mexican endemic Poaceae is mainly due to the fact that many taxa have a restricted distribution pattern. On the basis of the patterns obtained, a few proposals are presented for undertaking the establishment of conservation priorities of these taxa.  相似文献

The diversity and distribution patterns of endemic species of birds inChina have been studied on the basis of the distribution database of specimencollections and published references. One hundred and two endemic species ofbirds in China, belonging to 53 genera, 16 families and 8 orders are recognized.They account for 8.1% of the total species of China. The distribution patternswere studied and three centers of endemism were found, includingHengduanshan Mountains, mountain areas of western Qinling, north Sichuan Province andSouth Gansu Province, as well as Taiwan Island, which are suggested as conservationpriorities based on endemism. Twenty-four endemics are rare and endangered, listedin the China Red Data Book of Endangered Animals. Among them, 15 species are in rankI and 9 species are in rank II. The study results are to be beneficial tofurther study on both the processing mechanism of the distribution patterns andon the priority of the diversity and endemism conservation.  相似文献

Quantitative analyses of areas of endemism have rarely considered higher taxa. This paper discusses aspects related to the use of higher taxa in the analysis of areas of endemism, and computer implementations. An example of the application of the method is provided, with a data set for Nearctic mammals, showing that some of the areas recognized by species‐level taxa also adjust well to the distribution of other taxa of higher level (genera, monophyletic groups).  相似文献

China, under highly varied ecological conditions resulted from wide latitudinal and altitudinal ranges and from the adequate precipitation, has developed a very rich flora of great diversity. As far as flowering plants are concerned, there are 2980 genera, 214 of which, belonging to 64 families, are endemic. Among these endemic genera, there are 9 genera of taxads and conifers, 19 genera of monocots and others of dicots. Of the approximately 129 herbaceous endemic genera in the Chinese flora as a whole, about 22 (17%) are annual and 107 (83%) are biennial or perennial. In the present paper the ecological distribution, the nature of endemic genera and the centers of endemism are discussed. 1. Three types of endemic genera are distinguished, neoendemics, palaeoendemics and active epibiotics, The endemic genera in the flora of China are, for the most part, considered to be very old ones, and most of them are of temperate nature. 2. the degree of endemism in our 22 floristic regions is shown in Figure 1. The areas richest in endemic genera in the Chinese flora as a whole are the 13, 16 and 17 regions. The poorest are the 2, 4, 9 and 10 regions, and no one in the 1 and 3 regions These results on floristic richness are of general applicability. As shown in table 1, the difference in the degree of endemism among the seven Chinese floristic subkingdoms are most pronounced. 101 endemic genera are known to occur in one subkingdom, 72 to occur in two subkingdoms, and 3 to occur in four subkingdoms, only one genus widely distributed in five subkingdoms. However, there is no genus occurring in seven subkingdoms. The difference in the degree of endemism in each subkingdom reveals that the distribution of endemic genera is not well-distributed in the Chinese flora as a whole. Analysis of the vertical distribution of the 200 endemic genera of the Chinese flora bears out that there is no evident increase in endemism as a whole with altitude. 3. Three centers of endemism are found (Fig. 2). These are as follows: a). Eastern Sichuan-western Hubei center. b). Southeastern Yunnan-western Guangxi center. c). Western Sichuan-northwestern Yunnan center. The degree of endemism andcharacters of endemic genera in each center are discussed.  相似文献

特有植物是了解一个地区植物区系的起源与演化规律的关键。对海南岛石灰岩特有植物的地理分布特征和分类的初步研究表明:本区共有石灰岩特有植物63种,隶属于37科52属,其中热带性的属占的比例较高;属于海南石灰岩专性种的有18种,一些种类对生长基质的要求相当严格。与其它地区比较,石灰岩山地的特有化发展在海南不很明显。从特有植物的分布来看昌江是海南一个重要的石灰岩植物分化中心。对海南石灰岩特有种比例较低的原因和保育进行了探讨。  相似文献

Aim  To illustrate problems in the methods proposed by B. Vilenkin and V. Chikatunov to study levels of endemism and species–area relationships.
Location  The study used data on the distribution of tenebrionid beetles (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae) on the Aegean Islands (Greece).
Methods  A total of 32 islands and 170 taxa (species and subspecies) were included in this study. Levels of endemism were evaluated both as the proportion of endemic taxa, and according to the methods proposed by Vilenkin and Chikatunov, which are based on the number of non-endemic taxa and various relationships with area. A model of the species–area relationship proposed by these authors was also analysed.
Results  The number of endemic taxa was positively correlated with the number of taxa with different distribution types, but this positive correlation did not influence the estimation of the level of endemism. In fact, the commonly used estimate of endemicity as a percentage was strongly correlated with the endemism values calculated according to the method of Vilenkin and Chikatunov. The usual power function fitted the species–area relationship as well as the most complicated method of Vilenkin and Chikatunov.
Main conclusions  As hypothesized by Vilenkin and Chikatunov, the number of endemic taxa was influenced both by the number of taxa of other biogeographical ranks, and by an island's area. However, explanations for the positive relationship between the number of endemic taxa and taxa of different biogeographical ranks are equivocal. Importantly, this relationship did not necessarily influence the level of endemism, which could be expressed adequately by percentages. The method proposed by Vilenkin and Chikatunov to estimate the species–area relationship cannot be clearly justified on theoretical grounds and is of questionable practical utility.  相似文献

We compiled and identified a list of Chinese. endemic seed plant species based on a large number of published References and expert reviews. The characters of these seed plant species and their distribution patterns were described at length. China is rich in endemic seed plants, with a total of 14 939 species (accounting for 52.1%of its total seed plant species) belonging to 1584 genera and 191 families. Temperate families and genera have a significantly higher proportion of endemism than cosmopolitan and tropical ones. The most primitive and derived groups have significantly higher endemism than the other groups. The endemism of tree, shrub, and liana or vine is higher than that of total species; in contrast, the endemism of herb is lower than that of total species. Geographically,these Chinese endemic plants are mainly distributed in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces, southwest China. Species richness and proportion of these endemic plants decrease with increased latitude and have a unimodal response to altitude. The peak value of proportion of endemism is at higher altitudes than that of total species and endemic species richness. The proportions of endemic shrub, liana or vine, and herb increase with altitude and have a clear unimodal curve. In contrast, the proportion of tree increases with altitude, with a sudden increase at~4000 m and has a completely different model. To date, our study provides the most comprehensive list of Chinese endemic seed plant species and their basic composition and distribution features.  相似文献
