A Gram-stain-negative, light yellow pigmented, non-motile and aerobic bacterial strain, designated HHU E2-1 T, was isolated from a surface seawater sample. The 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that HHU E2-1 T shared the highest sequence similarity to the type strain Qipengyuania gaetbuli DSM 16225 T (96.90%), which belongs to the family Erythrobacteraceae. Combined phylogeny of 288 single-copy orthologous gene clusters, analysis of average nucleotide identity (ANI) and digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH), average amino acid identity (AAI) and evolutionary distances suggested that HHU E2-1 T can be considered as a member of the genus Altererythrobacter based on the recently proposed standard for defining genera of Erythrobacteraceae. Strain HHU E2-1 T grew at 15–35 °C and pH 5.0–8.0, with optimum growth at 28 °C and pH 7.0. Tolerance to NaCl was up to 4% (w/v) with optimum growth in 2–3% NaCl. The major fatty acids (>?10%) were C18:1ω7c11-methyl, summed feature 3 (C16:1ω7c and/or C16:1ω6c), and summed feature 8 (C18:1ω7c and/or C18:1ω6c). The predominant isoprenoid quinone was ubiquinone-10. The genomic G?+?C content was 57.40%. On the basis of the phenotypic, phylogenetic and chemotaxonomic characterizations, HHU E2-1 T represents a novel species of the genus Altererythrobacter, for which the name Altererythrobacter flava sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is HHU E2-1 T (=?CGMCC 1.17394 T?=?KCTC 72835 T?=?MCCC 1K04226T).

A Gram-negative aerobic bacterium, strain M30-35 T, was isolated from the rhizosphere of Haloxylon ammodendron in Tengger desert, Gansu province, northwest China. Our previous research indicated that strain M30-35 T can promote the growth of ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.). In this study, strain M30-35 T was subjected to a polyphasic taxonomic study. Phylogenetic analysis of the 16S rRNA gene and two other housekeeping genes (gyrB, rpoD) showed that strain M30-35 T is a member of Pseudomonas anguilliseptica group. The average nucleotide identity (ANI) scores for strains KMM 3042 T and FR1439T were 76.5% and 83.7%, respectively, and DNA-DNA hybridization (DDH) were 21.6% and 26.6%, respectively, and the rates were less than the threshold range for species determination. The dominant cellular fatty acids of strain M30-35 T were C16:0 (22.7%), summed feature 3 (C16:1ω7c and/or C16:1ω6c; 18.5%), summed feature 8 (C18:1ω7c and/or C18:1ω6c; 23.1%). The major polar lipids were diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylglycerol, phospholipid and aminophospholipid and the predominant respiratory quinone was ubiquinone (Q9). On the basis of above data, it can be concluded that strain M30-35 T represents a novel species in the genus Pseudomonas, for which the name Pseudomonas rhizovicinus sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is M30-35 T (=?MCCC 1K03247T?=?KCTC 52664 T).

On the basis of the evidence presented in this study, strain HME6451T represent a novel species of the genus Pedobacter, for which the name Pedobacter soyangensis sp. nov., is proposed the type strain HME6451T (=KCTC 23467T =CECT 7865T).  相似文献

A Gram-stain-negative and orangish yellow-pigmented bacterial strain, designated PR1014KT, was isolated from an automobile evaporator core collected in Korea. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that strain PR1014KT was related with the members of the genus Spirosoma (94.7–90.2%) and closely related with Spirosoma lacussanchae CPCC 100624T (94.7%), Spirosoma knui 15J8-12T (94.3%), and Spirosoma soli MIMBbqt12T (93.3%). The strain grew at 15–40°C (optimum, 25°C), pH 6.5–7.0 (optimum, 6.5) and 0–1% (w/v) NaCl (optimum, 0%). The predominant fatty acids were summed feature 3 (C16:1 ω7c and/or C16:1 ω6c), C16:0, iso-C15:0, C16:1 ω5c, and iso-C17:0 3-OH. The major menaquinone was MK-7. The polar lipid profile of the strain indicated that the presence of one phosphatidylethanolamine, one unidentified aminolipid, two unidentified aminophospholipids, and three unidentified lipids. The DNA G+C content of the strain was 47.4 mol%. On the basis of the phenotypic, genotypic and chemotaxonomic characteristics, strain PR1014KT represents a novel species in the genus Spirosoma, for which the name Spirosoma metallicus sp. nov. (=KACC 17940T =NBRC 110792T) is proposed.  相似文献

A Gram-negative, rod-shaped, motile and strictly aerobic bacterium, designated NBU1469T, was isolated from marine sediment sampled on Meishan Island located in the East China Sea. Strain NBU1469T grew optimally at temperature of 40 °C, NaCl concentration of 2.0% (w/v) and pH 7.5. Catalase and oxidase activities, H2S production, nitrate reduction and hydrolysis of Tween 20 were positive. Indole, methyl red reaction, urease, hydrolysis of gelatin, starch, casein, Tweens 40, 60 and 80 were negative. The major cellular fatty acids were C16:0, C19:0 cyclo ω8c and summed feature 8 (C18:1 ω7c and/or C18:1 ω6c). The only respiratory quinone was ubiquinone-10 (Q-10). The major polar lipids were phosphatidylglycerol, two unidentified amino-phospholipids and two unidentified phospholipids. Comparative analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequence showed highest similarities to the species with validated name Nisaea nitritireducens DR41_18T (98.1%) and Nisaea denitrificans DR41_21T (97.6%). Phylogenetic analyses indicated that strain NBU1469T formed a distinct lineage with strains Nisaea nitritireducens DR41_18T and Nisaea denitrificans DR41_21T within the genus Nisaea. The average nucleotide identity and digital DNA-DNA hybridization values between strain NBU1469T and related species of genus Nisaea were well below the threshold limit for prokaryotic species delineation. The DNA G?+?C content was 63.6%. Based on its phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and genotypic data, strain NBU1469T is considered to be a representative of a novel species in the genus Nisaea, for which the name Nisaea sediminum sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is NBU1469T (=KCTC 82224 T?=MCCC 1K04763T).
