Incidence and pathophysiological relevance of postoperative endotoxemia   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Abstract Patients who underwent surgical procedures usually develop elevated body temperature, changes of plasma levels of some proteins, and leucocytosis. These alterations are summarized as the postoperative acute-phase reaction. Also endotoxin can induce the described phenomena suggesting that endotoxin may play a role concerning the induction of the acute phase reaction. In order to test that hypothesis we determined endotoxin plasma levels preoperatively and daily postoperatively in patients who were operated on because of goiter ( n = 20), colonic, pancreatic and gastric diseases ( n = 58). A significant increase of endotoxin plasma levels was found at the first and third day after abdominal surgery whereas after goiter surgery the increase revealed to be only very slight. However, the decrease between the first and second postoperative day in the latter group was again statistically significant suggesting postoperative endotoxemia even after minor operations. Furthermore a correlation between the amount of circulating endotoxin and pulmonary or infectious complications could be established in patients after major operations even at the first postoperative day suggesting a pathogenetic relevance of postoperative endotoxemia.  相似文献

Previous studies have demonstrated a persistent rise in serum cortisol concentrations after cardiac surgery. To further investigate this finding and to evaluate the effect of hemodilution that occurs with the onset of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), concentrations of cortisol-binding globulin (CBG), total and unbound cortisol, and packed cell volume (PCV) were studied in 28 patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft surgery. All patients received a standardized general anesthetic using a balanced technique with sufentanil, isoflurane, and midazolam. Blood was collected preoperatively, intraoperatively during CPB, and postoperatively in the evenings on the day of surgery and on the first and second postoperative day. Cortisol and CBG concentrations were measured by radioimmunoassay and were used to calculate the fraction of unbound cortisol. Serum CBG and cortisol concentrations corrected for hemodilution were significantly higher than non-corrected values. Perioperatively, CBG measurements were significantly intercorrelated. Intraoperatively, total and unbound cortisol concentrations were not significantly increased compared to preoperative values. Postoperatively up to the end of the study period serum concentrations of total and unbound cortisol were significantly increased compared to baseline values. Our results suggest that hemodilution occurs in all patients during cardiac surgery and continues up to the second postoperative day. This may lead to an underestimation of serum cortisol and CBG concentrations in patients undergoing heart surgery with CPB. Intraoperatively, concentrations of total and unbound cortisol were not significantly elevated. The postoperative rise in serum total cortisol concentration was accompanied by an increase in unbound cortisol concentration. The postoperative increase of unbound cortisol concentrations in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with CPB was largely due to an increase in cortisol secretion.  相似文献

Breeding activity in the South American grey opossum, Monodelphis domestica, is stimulated by the presence of males. This study presents the first analysis of changes in concentrations of plasma progesterone during pregnant and nonpregnant cycles. In Expt 1, females were paired with either intact or vasectomized males to stimulate a reproductive cycle, or were isolated from males. Within 4-8 days of pairing, females showed marked changes in the size of the urogenital opening (vulva), which were paralleled by similar changes in body weight (11.4 +/- 2%; mean +/- SEM; n = 13). There was a second increase and decrease in body weight (21.7 +/- 3.3%; n = 13) in pregnant and nonpregnant cycles during the luteal phase of the cycle. Changes in concentrations of plasma progesterone, determined from samples collected three times a week, were similar in pregnant and nonpregnant cycles. Plasma progesterone concentration, which was increased for 15-18 days, showed two distinct peaks. The first peak, 3-4.5 ng ml-1, occurred immediately after the decrease in vulval swelling, and the second peak (1-2 ng ml-1) occurred 8-12 days later. Concentrations of plasma progesterone were low before parturition occurred. Females isolated from males for 35 days showed no changes in body weight or vulval swelling and concentrations of plasma progesterone remained undetectable. In Expt 2, concentrations of luteinizing hormone (LH) in plasma were determined twice a day for the first few days after pairing. In three of five females an LH peak was detected coincident with the maximal swelling of the vulva.  相似文献

Action potentials recorded from perinatal rat ventricles exhibited a plateau (phase 2), followed by a rapid repolarization characteristics of all mammalian ventricular cells. Within the second postnatal week, a number of distinct changes occurred in the contour of action potentials. An early slow depolarization, at the foot of the action potential, preceded the beginning of phase zero. The early slow depolarization was observed until day 12 and disappeared by day 13. A second slow depolarization occurred during the terminal phase of the rapid upstroke of the action potential, persisted through day 13 and disappeared by day 14. On day 12, what had been a homogeneous contour of action potentials seen during the first week converted into a heterogeneous contour. Occasionally, action potentials similar to those recorded from Purkinje fibres in adult heart were recorded from hearts as young as 12 days. By day 14, signs of a spike (the hallmark of action potentials from adult heart) were apparent in some fibres. Treatment of newborn rats with dexamethasone on the second day after birth prevented the disappearance of the second slow depolarization. In adult and aged rat hearts, dexamethasone treatment induced a slow depolarization and a plateau in the region of overshoot. In view of the time-dependent change of the second slow depolarization it is suggested that this phase of the action potential is influenced by the levels of circulating glucocorticoid in developing heart and by changes in calcium sensitivity observed in this species. Heterogeneity of action potentials observed on day 12 postnatal may precede structural differentiation of myofilaments.  相似文献

The objective of this work was to evaluate the physiological and behavioural effects of opioid analgesic treatment in pigs subjected to abdominal surgery. Ten Swedish Landrace x Yorkshire pigs (20 +/- 4 kg b.w.) were submitted for intestinal cannulation. The pigs were allocated into two groups during one preoperative, one surgical and two postoperative days. All pigs were anaesthetized with medetomidine, tiletamine and zolazepam. One group was treated with epidural morphine (0.1 mg/kg) preoperatively, and transdermal fentanyl patches (50 microg/kg/h) were applied behind the ear immediately after surgery. The other group received epidural saline (equivalent volume) and placebo patches. All pigs were regularly weighed and clinically examined and repeated blood samples were analysed for serum concentrations of cortisol, beta-endorphin and fentanyl. Pre- and postoperative behaviours were evaluated by a swine specialist blinded to the treatment, three times a day, and were also videotape recorded for a total of 84 h per pig. No differences in behaviour were noted by the observer. During the first postoperative 12 h, treated pigs did not differ in activity compared with preoperative recordings, while untreated pigs were found to be less active. The treated group started to show interest in eating immediately after anaesthesia recovery, whereas the placebo group did not. During the 12-60 h postoperative period, the treated group had lower activity levels compared with the preoperative levels, which were similar to those in the placebo group. Treated pigs gained 0.5 +/- 0.2 kg during the subsequent two postoperative days, whereas the untreated pigs lost weight throughout the experiment. Cortisol concentration differed immediately after the surgery: Group P had 325 +/- 120 nmol/L and Group M 159 +/- 49 nmol/L. beta-endorphin concentration did not differ between groups. The highest serum fentanyl concentration (0.37 +/- 0.3 ng/mL) was measured 24 h postoperatively. Preoperative epidural morphine in combination with postoperative transdermal fentanyl resulted in earlier return to normal activity levels and an immediate weight gain after surgery.  相似文献

Changes in electrical potential difference and sodium-potassium ATPase activity of rectal mucosa in dogs were examined before and after jejunal-ileal bypass surgery. The potential difference in the postoperative period was significantly higher (P less than 0.05) than the preoperative value. The potential difference increased by 160% at the 3rd day after the surgery, and then gradually declined with prolonged recovery periods. Ouabain-sensitive sodium-potassium ATPase activity also increased at the 3rd day (160%) and at the 10th day (86%) after the surgery. Fourteen days after the surgery the sodium-potassium ATPase activity returned almost to the preoperative value. These results indicated a close correlation between changes in transmucosal potential difference and sodium-potassium ATPase activity of rectal mucosa, suggesting a significant participation of sodium-potassium ATPase in changes of potential difference induced by jejunal-ileal bypass surgery.  相似文献

Ten-day old chicks were divided into 6 groups which were fed a low phosphorus (P) diet for periods of 0, 0.5, 1, 3, 7 or 11 days before killing at 3 weeks old. Labelled calcium (47Ca) was injected intraperitoneally into some birds 18 hours before killing. A marked fall in growth rate, plasma phosphorus level, plasma growth hormone level and renal 24-hydroxylase activity levels had occurred by 12 hours after the experimental diet had started. After one day on the diet, the rate of duodenal Ca absorption had risen and continued to rise up to the 11th day. During this period, the renal 25-hydroxyvitamin D-1-hydroxylase activity rose slightly while the 24-hydroxylase activity rose towards the control level. At 24 hours, the 47Ca level in the bone was markedly lower than in the control group and remained low. It was concluded that the first adaptive response of the chick to dietary P insufficiency was to suppress growth. Subsequent adaptive responses were to increase the rate of Ca and P absorption from the gut and mobilisation from the bone but despite these measures, the growth rate only recovered slightly and the plasma P level continued to fall.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To examine the association of plasma leptin level with insulin, which is known as a metabolic regulator of leptin, and various stress-related factors during the perioperative period. METHODS: Thirty-one patients undergoing gastrectomy were enrolled and blood samples were obtained preoperatively, intraoperatively, immediately after operation, and on the first and second postoperative days. RESULTS: The plasma leptin level showed a triphasic response. Immediately after operation, the leptin level was the lowest, while the serum cortisol and interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels had their peak (PHASE 1). On the first postoperative day, the leptin level had its peak with the serum cortisol and IL-6 level remaining elevated (PHASE 2). On the second postoperative day, while the serum cortisol and IL-6 levels still remained elevated, the plasma leptin level fell to the preoperative value (PHASE 3). The plasma leptin level correlated well with the insulin level at all time points during the study period. CONCLUSION: Our results suggest a possible role of leptin in harmonizing neuroendocrine and immune responses with energy balance.  相似文献

Terbutaline, a new bronchodilator acting on β-adrenergic receptors, was given to 10 asthmatic patients, who received on separate days 5 mg orally, 10 mg orally, and 0·25 mg subcutaneously. The ventilatory response was assessed by measurement of the FEV1 before and at intervals after administration. The cardiovascular response was assessed by measurement of the heart rate and blood pressure and by electrocardiography at the same times as spirometry was performed.The ventilatory response to all three doses and by both routes was satisfactory. The maximal increase in FEV1 after 5 mg orally was only slightly less than that after 10 mg. The maximal increase in heart rate after 5 mg orally was about half that which occurred after 10 mg. It is concluded that 5 mg orally and 0·25 mg subcutaneously are suitable doses.In general a modest fall in blood pressure affected the diastolic more than the systolic. On E.C.G. the T wave was often depressed, and in one patient, it was inverted. A trough-like depression of the QRS baseline occurred several times. The significance of the E.C.G. changes is uncertain.  相似文献

Increased level of in vivo thrombin activity represents the essential mark of prethrombotic state. In order to assess the influence of surgical trauma on the constitution of prethrombotic state immediately after the surgical intervention, dynamic estimations of fibrinopeptide A (FPA) have been done in a group of 18 patients who had undergone abdominal surgery and in the group of 25 patients who underwent the replacement of artificial hip, and who were on preventive treatment with subcutaneous heparin. At the same time the presence of soluble fibrinmonomer complex and, in the group of patients on heparin treatment, the concentration of plasma heparin were examined. The investigations were done before the surgical intervention and on the first, third and seventh postoperative day. Our dynamic study showed the existence of certain relation between the surgical trauma and values of FPA which were the expression of intensity of in vivo thrombin activity. The mean values of FPA increased markedly on the first postoperative day in comparison with the preoperative levels. On the third postoperative day significant reduction of FPA was observed and on the seventh day marked increase was found only in patients who were not on heparin prevention. Although preventive application of subcutaneous heparin did not affect the whole blood coagulability it showed a suppressive impact on the thrombin activity level in examined surgical patients.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

The study examined the efficacy of preemptive or postoperative analgesia on surgical pain in the mouse. Radiotelemetry transmitters were surgically implanted in 28 female ICR mice. A mock ova implantation surgery was then performed. Mice were treated with a single dose of buprenorphine or flunixin meglumine prior to or after surgery, three doses of buprenorphine, or were untreated. Heart rate, blood pressure, home cage activity, food and water consumption, and body weight were measured. The no-analgesia group showed no significant differences between any parameters collected prior to surgery and those collected at similar times during the day of surgery. Significant increases in mouse activity on the day of surgery occurred with all analgesic treatments, compared with pre-surgical activity. There were no consistent significant changes in any other telemetry parameter after treatment with analgesics compared with no analgesia. Food consumption and body weight the day after surgery were reduced significantly in the animals treated with three doses of buprenorphine compared with untreated mice and mice given a single dose of buprenorphine. We conclude that the mock ova implant procedure does not induce sufficient pain to cause alterations in heart rate and blood pressure in the mouse. Activity was significantly reduced in the first 6 h after surgery in mice without analgesia, compared with activity prior to surgery. There were no significant differences between pre-emptive and postoperative analgesia. Body weight and food and water consumption were poor measures of pain because analgesia alone affected these parameters.  相似文献

Because of its immunosuppressive effect, surgery-induced immunosuppression may depend at least in part on the postoperative hypersecretion of IL-6, which is also responsible for surgical complications. Most of the immunosuppressive events induced by surgery, including lymphocytopenia, NK and T lymphocyte decline, and dendritic cell deficiency have been proven to be abrogated by a preoperative injection of IL-2 for few days. However, the cytokine mechanisms responsible for IL-2-induced abrogation of surgery-related immunosuppression need to be better investigated and understood. This study was performed to analyze the influence of IL-2 presurgical immunotherapy on IL-6 secretion in the postoperative period. The study was performed in 12 operable colorectal cancer patients, who were preoperatively pretreated with IL-2 (12 million lU/day subcutaneously for 3 consecutive days before surgery). The control group consisted of 21 age-and disease-matched colorectal cancer patients who underwent surgery without a preoperative immunotherapy with IL-2. Serum levels of IL-6 were measured by an enzyme immunoassay before surgery, and at days 3 and 7 of the postoperative period. A significant increase in mean serum levels of IL-6 occurred in the postoperative period only in the control patients, whereas in the IL-2 pretreated group no significant difference was seen between presurgical and postoperative IL-6 mean concentrations. The difference between controls and IL-2 group was particularly evident for patients with abnormally elevated presurgical values of IL-6. This study, by showing that a presurgical injection of IL-2 may prevent surgery-induced IL-6 enhanced secretion, would suggest that the previously described neutralization of surgery-induced immunosuppression by IL-2 preoperative immunotherapy may depend at least in part on the inhibition of postoperative production of IL-6, whose immunosuppressive effects have been well demonstrated at least on anticancer immunity.  相似文献

To examine the effects of single-dose dexamethasone use on edema, ecchymosis, and intraoperative bleeding in rhinoplasty, a double-blind, randomized trial with placebo control was planned. A total of 55 consecutive patients were included in the study. The dexamethasone (10 mg) was given intravenously just before surgery (preoperative group, n=18) or at the end of surgery (postoperative group, n=20). In the placebo group, 17 patients received saline preoperatively or postoperatively. Intraoperative blood loss was recorded for each patient. Postoperative scoring of eyelid swelling and ecchymosis was begun after approximately 24 hours and lasted into postoperative day 9. Only for the first 2 days was the difference between steroid groups (preoperative and postoperative) and the placebo group statistically significant for a decrease in eyelid edema (p < 0.05). A statistically significant difference in upper eyelid ecchymosis for both preoperative and postoperative steroid groups versus the placebo group also existed in the first 2 days (p < 0.05). Preoperative or postoperative steroid administration had no influence on the ecchymosis of the lower eyelid. When the results of the preoperative and postoperative steroid groups were compared, no significant difference was detected between the two groups in either edema or ecchymosis. To determine whether steroid use shortened the recovery period, the days on which edema and ecchymosis reached a minimum level were compared among the groups; no statistically significant difference was found among them. Using single-dose dexamethasone preoperatively did not alter intraoperative blood loss. Use of single-dose dexamethasone (either preoperatively or postoperatively) in rhinoplasty has a significant effect in decreasing upper and lower eyelid edema and upper eyelid ecchymosis for the first 2 days when compared with a placebo group. However, the effect of dexamethasone was lost after the first 2 days, and its use did not shorten the recovery period.  相似文献

Aims

Although subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation (STN-DBS) is effective in patients with advanced Parkinson’s disease (PD), its physiological mechanisms remain unclear. Because STN-DBS is effective in patients with PD whose motor symptoms are dramatically alleviated by L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA) treatment, the higher preoperative catecholamine levels might be related to the better clinical outcome after surgery. We aimed to examine the correlation between the preoperative catecholamine levels and postoperative clinical outcome after subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation. The effectiveness of STN-DBS in the patient who responded well to dopaminergic medication suggest the causal link between the dopaminergic system and STN-DBS. We also examined how catecholamine levels were modulated after subthalamic stimulation.

Methods

In total 25 patients with PD were enrolled (Mean age 66.2 ± 6.7 years, mean disease duration 11.6 ± 3.7 years). Mean levodopa equivalent doses were 1032 ± 34.6 mg before surgery. Cerebrospinal fluid and plasma catecholamine levels were measured an hour after oral administration of antiparkinsonian drugs before surgery. The mean Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale scores (UPDRS) and the Parkinson’s disease Questionnaire-39 (PDQ-39) were obtained before and after surgery. Of the 25 patients, postoperative cerebrospinal fluid and plasma were collected an hour after oral administration of antiparkinsonian drugs during on stimulation at follow up in 11 patients.

Results

Mean levodopa equivalent doses significantly decreased after surgery with improvement in motor functions and quality of life. The preoperative catecholamine levels had basically negative correlations with postoperative motor scores and quality of life, suggesting that higher preoperative catecholamine levels were related to better outcome after STN-DBS. The preoperative plasma levels of L-DOPA had significantly negative correlations with postoperative UPDRS- III score in off phase three months after STN-DBS. The preoperative cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) levels had significantly negative correlations with postoperative UPDRS- III score in off phase one year after STN-DBS and the preoperative CSF homovanilic acid (HVA) levels had significant negative correlations with postoperative UPDRS- III score in on phase three months after STN-DBS. In PDQ-39 SI (summary index), preoperative plasma dopamine (DA) level had significantly negative correlations with postoperative PDQ-39 SI one year after STN-DBS suggesting that higher preoperative plasma DA level resulted in better quality of life (QOL) one year after STN-DBS. The stepwise multiple linear regression study revealed that higher preoperative plasma HVA levels had negative influence on the postoperative motor symptoms (i.e., increase in the score of UPDRS), whereas higher preoperative CSF L-DOPA levels had positive influence on the postoperative motor symptoms and QOL (decrease in the score of UPDRS and PDQ-39 SI) The catecholamine levels were not significantly reduced postoperatively in 11 patients despite the significant reduction in levodopa equivalent doses. Unexpectedly, CSF HVA levels significantly increased from 0.00089±0.0003 ng/μl to 0.002±0.0008 ng/μl after STN-DBS.

Conclusion

The preoperative catecholamine levels might affect the postoperative motor symptoms and quality of life. The catecholamine levels were not significantly reduced postoperatively despite the significant reduction in levodopa equivalent doses.  相似文献

Echinococcosis is rarely encountered as a cystic brain disease. In this article we are presenting a case of a young woman repeatedly operated due to echinococcosis of lung, heart and brain. Recurrent brain ecchinococcosis developed despite preoperative and postoperative albendazol therapy after first and combined therapy with albendazol and praziquantel after the second brain surgery. The mechanism of recurrence remains unclear (primary infestation, dissemination after spontaneous or intraoperative cyst rupture or new infestation).  相似文献

目的:探讨胸外科手术术后神经病理性疼痛的发生情况及相关危险因素。方法:回顾性分析2015年至2016年就诊于我院行胸外科手术的患者的临床资料,包括患者的年龄、性别、吸烟史、BMI、术前是否使用催眠药物、术前诊断、手术侧别、手术方式、是否为微创、硬膜外自控镇痛泵使用情况、术中失血量、手术持续时间、引流管引流时间及是否发生神经病理性疼痛,对比分析是否发生神经病理性疼痛患者的临床资料,对有差异的临床资料进行多因素Logistic回归分析探讨发生神经病理性疼痛的危险因素。结果:共有123例患者纳入研究,33例(26.8%)患者的患者术后出现神经病理性疼痛,6例(4.9%)患者在术后一年仍有持续性神经性病理疼痛,术后出现神经病理性疼痛的平均时间为术后第7天,平均持续时间为75天,发生神经病理性疼痛的患者吸烟比例(81.8%)、术前使用催眠药比例(57.6%)、开胸手术比例(81.8%)、术中失血量(185 mL)、手术时间(196分钟)、术后引流时间(2.5天)均高于没有发生神经病理性疼痛的患者。多因素分析显示术前使用催眠药(OR=2.322,P<0.001)、手术时间延长(OR=3.703,P<0.001)和术后引流时间延长(OR=2.675,P=0.002)均是神经病理性疼痛发生的危险因素,电视辅助胸腔镜手术方式是保护性因素(OR=0.453,P=0.002)。结论:术前使用催眠药物、延长的手术时间及术后引流时间增加了神经病理性疼痛发生的风险,电视辅助胸腔镜技术可减少其发生率。  相似文献

Summary The RNA content of pea cotyledons shows little change during the first five days of germination at 22°C. From day five onwards there is a rapid net degradation of RNA, which continues until day thirteen. The DNA content of the cotyledons increases slightly during the first nine days of germination, after which there is a net decrease. Acid and alkaline ribonuclease activities increase markedly between day one and day five, and then decline between day five and day nine. There is a second increase in the activities of both enzymes from day nine onwards. Soluble deoxyribonuclease activity exhibits a single peak, seven days after the onset of germination. The first increase in acid ribonuclease activity is only partially inhibited by cycloheximide at concentrations which severely inhibit protein synthesis.  相似文献

In C57Black/Tw mice given injections of 1 μg estradiol-17β (E) for 5 days beginning on the day of birth, and killed a few days after the treatment, the vaginal epithelium showed estrogen-dependent proliferation and parakeratosis. In contrast, in the mice treated neonatally with 30 μg E for 5 days, the vaginal epithelium exhibited estrogen-independent proliferation and cornification or parakeratosis. Two peaks occurred in the mitotic rate in vaginal epithelial cells in the proximal and middle vaginae of the 1 μgE-treated mice, at 1 and 5 days of age, respectively, while the first peak was lacking in the distal vagina. The mitotic activity in 1 μgE-treated mice declined to the control level at 60 days. In the 30 μgE-treated animals also, 2 peaks were found in the mitotic rate at 1 and 7 days in both the proximal and middle vaginae. In contrast to the 1 μgE-treated mice, although the rate dropped once at 10 days, it increased again at 20 days and remained high thereafter. The second peak at 7 days of age coincided with the active proliferation of nodules appearing in the 30 μgE-treated mice. In the distal vagina, a peak occurred in the mitotic rate at 7 days without a preceding peak like that observed in the other parts of the vagina following the first injection of E on the day of birth.  相似文献

Changes in the EEG spectral coherence characteristics were analyzed in 60 patients in the early postoperative period after the excision of basal-diencephalic tumors (located in the hypothalamic and thalamic structures) using different surgical approaches (transcallosal, subfrontal, and transnasal). On the first day after surgery, all the patients exhibited a significant decrease in the Δ, θ, and α rhythms compared to the preoperative recordings. Decreased interhemispheric and increased intrahemispheric coherent relations were found simultaneously with changes in the EEG power in patients operated on through the transcranial approach. Within 7–10 days, the pathological structure of the functional relations changed reciprocally. In the case of the transnasal approach, the patients exhibited only an impairment of interhemispheric interaction in the frontocentral areas on the first day after surgery. The development of the intestinal microbiota and the evolution of the fecal IgA in mice were analyzed from 18 to 40 days old by PCR temperature gradient gel electrophoresis (TGGE) and ELISA, respectively. There were two events for the diversification of the intestinal microbiota from suckling to maturity. The first change occurred between days 21 and 22 after birth, when the diversity of the intestinal microbiota showed a remarkable increase at this time. The second change occurred from days 27 to 30 after birth, and the increase in the diversity of the intestinal microbiota ceased. The amount of fecal IgA decreased from days 18 to 20, remained low until day 22, on day 23, it recovered and then continued to increase. This study suggests that there are possible interactions between the development of intestinal microbiota and the evolution of intestinal secretion of IgA in mice, the same as in rats, although the second change in mice intestinal microbiota occurred a few days later than in rats. The decline in maternal IgA supply as the suckling period proceeded presumably allowed the bacterial colonization. As a consequence of this increase in bacterial colonization, the secretion of the self-SIgA was accelerated in the pups.  相似文献
