The effects of heat shock (HS); UV-B irradiation; and the consecutive action of these factors on the growth, development, and water supply of seven-day-old melon (Melo sativusSager., cv. Torpeda) seedlings were investigated. Depending on the HS severity, we observed growth stimulation (after treatment at 45°C for 1 h), growth retardation (after treatment at 45°C for 2 h or at 48°C for 1 h), or complete growth inhibition and cell death (after treatment at 45°C for 3 h or at 55°C for 1 h). UV-B irradiation (18.3 kJ/(m2h)), depending on its duration, stimulated (5–10 min), retarded (60 min), or resulted in complete growth inhibition and plant death (90 min). HS treatment (at 45°C for 1 h) prior to UV-B irradiation (for 1 h) favorably affected both the growth and water balance of seedlings. Apparently, the HS pretreatment increases the tolerance of seedlings to high doses of UV-B radiation.  相似文献

Synthesis of stress proteins after heat shock and different periods of UV-B radiation were investigated with marine diatom species from the North Sea Ditylum brightwellii, Lithodesmium variabile, Odontella sinensis, Thalassiosira rotula and the Antarctic diatom Odontella weissfloggii from the Weddell Sea. Algae were grown in an artifical sea-water medium under controlled laboratory conditions: light/dark regime of 12:12 h (7.2 W m?2), normal air (0.035 vol.% CO2) and 18° or 4 °C. All the tested diatom species can produce heat shock proteins (HSPS) of the 70 kDa family by in vivo labelling with [35S]-methionine. The same results were obtained for Odontella sinensis, Ditylum brightwellii and Odontella weissflogii by estimation of the in vitro translation products with poly-A-mRNA isolated from these organisms. However, Odontella weissflogii, a species relatively insensitive to UV-B irradiance, did not synthesize UV-induced HSPS, whereas the UV-sensitive diatom Odontella sinensis, as well as Lithodesmium variabile, produced all the observed HSPS after UV-B exposure. In addition, a protein of 43 kDa was found after UV-B irradiance of the temperate Odontella sinensis. The temperate marine diatom Thalassiosira rotula synthesized 70 kDa and 5 7 kDa proteins after a heat shock and a UV-B exposure of 2 h, but a 40 kDa protein could not be detected, whereas a 60 kDa protein was found after 2 h UV-B exposure. The results are discussed in view of a possible adaptation of O. weissflogii to an enhanced UV dose.  相似文献

研究了不同剂量的紫外-B辐射与浓度倍增的CO2复合处理对大棚黄瓜(Cucumis sativus)生长发育过程中植株形态、叶绿素、可溶性蛋白质含量以及SOD、POD、CAT酶活性的影响。结果表明:作形态方面,UV-B辐射明显降低了植株的株高、叶柄长度、叶面积,而茎粗增加。复合处理B2C明显提高了黄瓜叶绿素的含量,整个处理对黄瓜蛋白质的含量没有大的影响;酶活性以B2C处理时,其SOD、POD、CAT酶活性最高。说明一定低剂量的UV-B与CO2相复合时,可以促进黄瓜的生长发育,其促进程度大于CO2单因子的效应。  相似文献

An increase in ultraviolet(UV)B radiation on the earth's surface is a feature of current global climate changes.It hasbeen reported that alternative oxidase(AOX)may have a protective role against oxidative stress induced by environmentalstresses,such as UV-B.To better understand the characteristic tolerance of plants to UV-B radiation,the effects ofenhanced UV-B radiation on the activity and expression of AOX in red kidney bean(Phaseolus vulgaris)leaves wereinvestigated in the present study.The results show that the total respiration rate and AOX activity in red kidney bean leavesincreased significantly during treatment with enhanced UV-B.However,cytochrome oxidase(COX)activity did not changesignificantly.The H_2O_2 content was also markedly increased and reached a maximum of 4.45 mmol.L~(-1)·g~(-1)DW(dry weight)at 24 h of UV-B treatment,before dropping rapidly.Both alternative pathway content and alternative pathway activity wereincreased in the presence of exogenous H_2O_2.Immunoblotting analysis with anti-AOX monoclonal antibody revealed thatexpression of the AOX protein increased in red kidney bean leaves under enhanced UV-B radiation,reaching a peak at 72h.In addition,AOX expression in red kidney bean leaves was induced by exogenous H_2O_2.These data indicate that theincrease in AOX activity in red kidney bean leaves under enhanced UV-B radiation was mainly due to H_2O_2-induced AOXexpression.  相似文献

The responses of 14-day-old Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. plants to UV-B irradiation (280–320 nm) and ABA treatment were investigated. Wild-type plants as well as ethylene-insensitive etr1-1 and ctr1-1 mutants were used. Theetr1-1 mutant considerably differed from the ctr1-1 one in the fresh weight production after UV-B treatment (29.5 kJ/m2). The irradiated etr1-1 plants fell well behind the nonirradiated ones during the first two days after stress, but by the 8th day, their weight attained 70% of control plant weight. In contrast, Ctr1-1 mutant weight comprised 70% of control level after two days of stress but, by the 8th day, it was only 56% of the weight of control plants. In wild-type and ctr1-1 plants, ABA, in the 8 × 10–6 to 2 × 10–4 M concentration range, increased the difference between the weights of nonirradiated and irradiated plants, but in etr1-1 plants, ABA decreased this difference. The etr1-1, ctr1-1, and wild-type plants were very similar in the dynamics of ethylene evolution after UV-B treatment (7.4 kJ/m2). In wild-type, etr1-1, and ctr1-1 plants, ABA, in a concentration-dependent manner, inhibited UV-B-induced ethylene evolution to the same extent. The results obtained show that ABA exerted an opposite effect on UV-B-dependent growth in the plants with active (wild type and ctr1-1) and blocked (etr1-1) ethylene signal pathway, whereas the inhibition of ethylene synthesis by ABA was not related to ethylene signal transmission.  相似文献

萌发的水稻种子经42℃热激处理后其幼苗的耐冷性明显增强,膜伤害程度降低,脯氨酸含量增加,超氧物歧化酶(SOD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)、过氧化物酶(POD)活性和抗氧化物质抗坏血酸含量增加,而膜脂过氧化的关键酶脂氧合酶(LOX)活性及其产物丙二醛(MDA)含量下降.并且热激诱导萌发的水稻胚合成78、70、64、60、46、38、24、17、16kD的热激蛋白(HSP),其中属于HSP70的内质网结合蛋白(BiP)的合成与水稻幼苗耐寒性的提高有关.  相似文献

CO2倍增及UV-B增强对大豆植株生长和根际微生物的影响   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
以大豆'齐黄27'为研究材料,采用人工气候室模拟大气CO2浓度倍增(350~700 μmol*mol-1)及紫外线B(UV-B,280~320 nm)辐射增强(4~15 μW*cm-2)的环境条件,研究了CO2浓度增加及UV-B辐射增强对大豆生育前期的生长及根瘤、根际微生物数量的影响.结果表明:(1)增强UV-B能显著减少大豆植株地上部生物量,而对株高的抑制作用不显著;CO2浓度倍增促使大豆株高和地上生物量显著增加,对根系生物量的促进作用不显著,但能够减轻UV-B辐射增强对地上及根系生物量的抑制作用;CO2浓度增加、UV-B辐射增强及其复合胁迫均导致大豆植株根冠比下降,且复合胁迫对根冠比的抑制作用更明显.(2)CO2浓度倍增降低了大豆叶片叶绿素、类胡萝卜素及花青素含量,提高了净光合速率;UV-B辐射增强导致叶绿素含量减少,光合速率下降,却增加了类胡萝卜素及花青素含量;CO2浓度增加、UV-B辐射增强复合处理对叶片色素含量及光合速率的影响具有复合效应.(3)CO2浓度倍增能够促进根瘤数量及根际真菌数量的增加,而UV-B增强处理则显著降低细菌和放线菌的数量;CO2浓度倍增能够缓解UV-B增强处理对放线菌的抑制作用,却导致根际细菌数量进一步减少.研究发现,CO2浓度增加及UV-B辐射增强对大豆生育前期植株生长、叶片色素含量及根际微生物数量存在抑制或促进效应,而且在某些性状上存在复合效应,它们可能主要是通过调节大豆植株的干物质分配及根系的代谢间接影响根瘤数量及根际微生物数量.  相似文献

在实验室条件下研究了UV-B辐射对广东省南亚热带森林中5种木一植物九节,鸭脚木,猴耳环,半枫荷,山乌桕和绿化树种大叶合欢的幼苗形态和细胞超微结构。特别是叶绿体超微结构的影响。结果表明,UV-B辐射抑制幼苗主根伸长和减少侧根数,抑制茎伸长,减少叶数和叶面积。UV-B辐射破坏叶片细胞膜细胞,特别是叶绿体膜结构,但不同种受影响的程度不同,所表现的症状也不完全相同,鸭脚木的质膜收缩,导致质壁分离;鸭脚木,半枫荷和猴耳环的叶绿体膨胀,前二者的甚至破裂,鸭脚木的质膜收缩,导致质壁分离;鸭脚木,半枫荷和猴耳环的叶绿体膨胀,前二者的甚至破裂;鸭脚木和半枫荷的类囊体膨胀粘连;猴耳环的线粒体出现空泡化,半枫荷和猴耳环的叶绿体内大的淀粉粒增多;鸭脚木和山乌桕的叶绿体内或膜上黑色颗粒增多,鸭脚木的线粒体膜上也出现黑色颗粒。  相似文献

The results are generalized of many-year studies into the adaptive role of heat shock proteins in different animals, including the representatives of cold- and warm-blooded species that inhabit regions with different thermal conditions. Adaptive evolution of the response to hyperthermia can lead to different results depending on the species. The thermal threshold of induction of the heat shock proteins in desert thermophylic species is, as a rule, higher than in the moderate climate species. In addition, thermoresistant species are often characterized by a certain level of heat shock proteins in cells even at a physiologically normal temperature. Although adaptation to hyperthermia is achieved in most cases without changes in the number of heat shock genes, they can be amplified in some cases in termophylic species. 不同氮源条件下,UV-B辐射增强能改变植株对氮的吸收利用以及植株叶片的碳氢比和碳氮比,增加氨基酸的生物合成.缺氮条件下, UV-B辐射增强使植物叶片中SOD、POD活性增强,MDA含量增加;氮素过量时,UV-B辐射增强会降低植物对UV-B辐射的耐性.UV-B辐射增强和氮缺乏相互作用会降低叶片的光合速率、叶绿素含量、可溶性糖及淀粉含量,从而抑制植物的生长,降低生物量.该文对近年来国内外有关UV-B辐射增强与氮素相互作用对植物抗氧化系统、氮代谢、光合作用、生物量和形态结构的影响进行综述.  相似文献

The parallel synthesis of heat shock proteins and trehalose in response to heat shock did not allow the role of these compounds in the acquisition of thermotolerance by fungal cells to be established for a long time. This review analyses experimental data obtained with the use of mutant fungal strains and shows differences in the thermoprotective functions of trehalose and heat shock proteins in relation to cell membranes and macromolecules. 为了解药用植物菥蓂(Thlaspi arvense)在紫外线(UV-B)辐射增强下生长及响应规律,以2月龄菥蓂幼苗为研究对象,在自然光照基础上人工增补3.26μW·cm-2(T1)和9.78μW·cm-2(T2)2种不同辐射强度处理,以自然光照下生长的菥蓂幼苗为对照,研究菥蓂幼苗中光合指标和叶绿素荧光参数、光合色素(叶绿素a和b)含量、渗透调节物质(丙二醛、可溶性蛋白、可溶性糖和脯氨酸)含量、抗氧化酶(超氧化物歧化酶、过氧化物酶、过氧化氢酶和抗坏血酸过氧化氢酶)活性和总黄酮、总酚和黑芥子苷等次生代谢产物含量对不同UV-B辐射强度的响应。结果表明:2种辐射强度下净光合速率、气孔导度、蒸腾速率、胞间二氧化碳摩尔分数、最大荧光(Fm)、PSⅡ最大光化学效率(Fv/Fm)和PSⅡ潜在光化学效率(Fv/Fo)均随辐射强度增大而降低;叶绿素a和叶绿素b、可溶性蛋白、可溶性糖和脯氨酸等渗透调节物质、超氧化物歧化酶、过氧化物酶、过氧化氢酶和抗坏血酸过...  相似文献

研究了在野外自然条件下,长期增强UV-B辐射对高寒草甸3种典型植物矮嵩草(Kobresia humilis)、垂穗披碱草(Elymus nutans)和钉柱委陵菜(Potentilla saundersiana)光合放氧速率、光合色素和抗氧化系统的影响。结果表明:长期增强UV-B辐射对3种植物的净光合速率没有明显影响。增强UV-B辐射下,3种植物的叶绿素含量变化不同,Chla/b值,类胡萝卜素(Car)含量,Car/Chl值与对照相比都有升高,说明植物叶片的光合能力、吸收紫外线的能力增强以及忍受逆境能力均有增强,从而产生光保护,有利于光合作用正常进行。由于3种植物膜脂过氧化程度的不同及SOD活性的普遍抑制,植物经受了氧化胁迫。垂穗披碱草叶片GSH含量显著七升,矮嵩草的形态矮小及钉柱委陵菜GSH含量与POD活性显著上升,都能减轻它们所经受的氧化胁迫,使光合器官免受损伤。所以,这些保护性色素的积累和抗氧化系统内部的协同作用可能是高寒草甸植物光合作用正常进行的重要原因。  相似文献

对不同海拔地区的太阳UV-B辐射和植物叶片的光学特性进行了比较研究。结果表明:位于高海拔地区的海北高寒草甸生态系统定位站,太阳UV-B辐射明显高于相近纬度的西宁、兰州和南京地区。UV-B辐射与总辐射和PAR的日变化规律相似,都受太阳高度角的直接影响,在当地太阳正午时最高。UV-B/Q的日变化也为单峰曲线,海北部地区的UV-B/Q高于西宁的同期测定结果。对蛛芽蓼等植物的研究表明,生长于海北部地区的蛛  相似文献

植物在遭受环境胁迫时会产生一系列应激反应,而热激转录因子可通过介导热激蛋白或其他热诱导基因的转录和表达,来参与调控植物抵抗逆境胁迫过程和其他生命活动。主要介绍了植物热激转录因子的基本蛋白结构域,阐述了3类热激转录因子在抗极端温度(高温、低温)胁迫、干旱胁迫、高盐胁迫、活性氧胁迫中的功能与作用机制,并探讨和展望了植物热激转录因子在植物育种和提高植物抗逆性的研究中的发展与应用前景,以期为深入研究热激转录因子在调控植物抵抗逆境胁迫中的生物学功能与机制提供理论参考。  相似文献

为了探讨UV-B辐射引起的Rubisco含量降低的可能机制,研究了两个绿豆品种(秦豆-20和中绿-1)幼苗在UV-B辐射下叶片Rubisco含量、蛋白水解酶活性和H2O2含量的变化.结果表明:UV-B辐射显著加速了两个绿豆品种幼苗叶片H2O2含量和蛋白水解酶活性上升,使Rubiscco含量下降.秦豆-20品种在UV-B辐射下H2O2含量和蛋白水解酶活性的上升程度明显大于中绿-1,相应其Rubisco含量的下降程度也大于中绿-1.抗坏血酸处理能明显降低UV-B辐射下两品种幼苗叶片H2O2含量,同时明显抑制蛋白水解酶活性的上升及Rubisco含量的下降.结果说明UV-B辐射诱导Rubisco含量的降低可能通过提高H2O2水平从而加强蛋白水解酶系统的活化而加速了Rubisco的降解.  相似文献
