将2004年春季采于芜湖市镜湖的沉积物样品在不同季节进行原位萌发发现,除冬季未见有轮虫孵出外,其余3个季节共孵出轮虫39种,隶属于7科19属;大湖区每200ml沉积物中休眠卵萌发出的轮虫数量平均为212.2个±48.9个,显著高于小湖区的39.1个±10.3个。大湖区沉积物在夏季萌发出的小巨头轮虫(Cephalodella exigua)、大肚须足轮虫(Euchlanis dilatata)和壶状臂尾轮虫(Brachionus urceolaris)、秋季萌发出的裂足臂尾轮虫(B.diversicornis)和角突臂尾轮虫(B.angularis)以及春季萌发出的暗小异尾轮虫(Trichocerca pusilla)和等刺异尾轮虫(T.similis)分别占各季节总萌发数的51.1%、19.7%、15.7%、14.7%、11.1%、38.4%和23.7%,小湖区沉积物在夏季萌发出的多须伪前翼轮虫(Proalides tentaculates)和暗小异尾轮虫、秋季萌发出的裂痕龟纹轮虫(Anuraeopsis fissa)、尖趾单趾轮虫(Monostyla closterocerca)和大肚须足轮虫以及春季萌发出的尖趾单趾轮虫、盘状鞍甲轮虫(Lepadella patella)和暗小异尾轮虫分别占各季节总萌发数的53.9%、31.6%、18%、17%、13%、31%、24.1%和17.2%。各季节萌发出的轮虫与同季节水体中存在的轮虫种类及数量间存在的较大差异表明,那些常年存在于水体中的轮虫所产的休眠卵的萌发对其种群增长的直接贡献可能不大;而那些每年都要从水体中消失一段时间的轮虫所产的休眠卵的萌发在其种群重建中的作用可能因种类的不同而异。 相似文献

养鱼池轮虫休眠卵分布和萌发的研究 总被引:18,自引:2,他引:18
东北地区部分鱼场养鱼池底泥中轮虫的休眠卵,表层(0—5厘米)数量每平方米为1.2—503万个,个别池塘高达1,573万个,其中完全暴露于泥表面的数量约占1—2%。休眠卵数量差别和池塘环境条件关系密切;各泥层中的轮虫休眠卵数量呈“V”形垂直分布的趋势。萼花臂尾轮虫和角突臂尾轮虫的休眠卵在水温10—40℃;pH4.5—11.5;溶氧0.3毫克/升以上和盐度8.5%以下的条件下可以萌发。10℃为其发育的生物学零度。根据轮虫休眠卵分布和它的环境条件的关系,以及萌发的生态条件,阐述了在养鱼池中增殖轮虫所应采取的措施及其理论根据。 相似文献

休眠卵是轮虫在恶劣生态条件下形成的滞育结构。本研究用光学显微镜和扫描电子显微镜对东湖14种轮虫休眠卵形态进行了观察,其中关于尾突臂尾轮虫(Brachionuscaudatus,Barrois&Daday)、方形臂尾轮虫(Bquadridentatus,hermann)、中型晶囊轮虫(Asplanchnaintermedia,Hudson)、顶生三肢轮虫(Filiniaterminalis,Plate)的休眠卵的形态特征尚未见过报道。这些休眠卵一般卵壳较厚,颜色较深,壳表面有纹饰。不同种轮虫的休眠卵形态、壳饰各不相同,具种的特异性,但在某些轮虫,即使同一种中休眠卵形态有时亦存在较大的差异。 相似文献

对镜湖臂尾轮虫种群的周年动态进行了研究,测量和分析了它们的个体大小、卵大小和相对卵大小及其与水温和叶绿素a浓度等生态因子间的关系。结果表明,镜湖常见的7种臂尾轮虫中,仅萼花臂尾轮虫(Brachionus calyciflorus)、角突臂尾轮虫(B.angularis)、裂足臂尾轮虫(B.diversicornis)和剪形臂尾轮虫(B.forficula)的种群密度和出现频率较高;前两者种群密度高峰期均出现在2~3月份,4月份后均较低;后两者种群密度在6~9月份较高,而在10月份后很快下降。除剪形臂尾轮虫外,其它3种臂尾轮虫的个体体积均与水温间具有显著的相关性,平均卵体积均与各自的平均被甲长度呈显著的正相关关系。角突臂尾轮虫和萼花臂尾轮虫个体大小与水体叶绿素a浓度间呈显著的负相关关系,它们的卵体积分别与水温和叶绿素a浓度之间具有显著的负相关性,且水温是影响它们卵体积的主要因子。4种臂尾轮虫中,仅角突臂尾轮虫的相对卵体积与水温间表现出显著的正相关关系。 相似文献

Induction of sexual reproduction and resting egg production in Brachionus Plicatilis reared in sea water 总被引:4,自引:1,他引:4
Brachionus plicatilis raised in our laboratory in sea water reproduces asexually even under high crowding conditions (at least 40 individuals per ml). Amictic females were induced to produce mictic females, males and resting eggs by reducing the concentration of the sea water culture medium. Mictic females and males appeared predominantly among the progeny produced by the amictic females during 4 days following their transfer into 25% sea water. Resting eggs appeared first 5–12 days after the onset of the experiment. Following the disappearance of males, the culture consisted of amictic females.Resting eggs produced by the method described above may be preserved for at least three months at –14°C or by desiccation at room temperature. Under the appropriate experimental conditions, resting eggs hatch into amictic females. Since B. plicatilis is one of the most commonly used food sources of fish larvae in aquaculture, the methods reported here may offer an easy and versatile way of preserving rotifer culture stock to be used on demand. 相似文献

1. Population characteristics (density, size, reproductive patterns) of the predatory cladoceran Bythotrephes cederstroemii in south-east Lake Michigan were monitored at an offshore station (110 m) in 1995–98 and at a nearshore station (45 m) in 1997–98.
2. The mean density of B. cederstroemii at the offshore station was generally highest in July–September (145–914 m−2 ) and at the nearshore station in October–November (168–1625 m−2 ). In 1995 and 1998, density was also high at the offshore station in November (211–284 m−2 ). Fish predation may limit B. cederstroemii in nearshore regions in the summer. The maximum annual densities of B. cederstroemii for 1995–98 were generally similar to those reported from the late 1980s, when the species arrived in Lake Michigan.
3. Body size increased rapidly each year to a maximum in August. Thereafter, body size declined and converged for stage-2 and 3 individuals, suggesting food scarcity or size-selective fish predation was affecting large individuals.
4. Most reproduction occurred asexually (90%), and by stage 2 or 3 females (99%). To test the possibility that shrimp pond rotifer resting eggs and hatched rotifers could transmit white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) to crayfish (Procambarus clarkii), we injected crayfish with rotifer and resting egg inocula that were WSSV-positive only by dot-blot analysis of PCR products. No crayfish became WSSV-positive after challenge with the resting egg inoculum. However, 1/15 crayfish became WSSV-positive after challenge with the rotifer inoculum. The results demonstrated that rotifers constitute a potential risk for WSSV transmission to crayfish and other cultivated crustaceans. However, the actual quantitative risk of transmission in an aquaculture setting depends on many variables that remain untested. 相似文献

Resting eggs produced by daphnid species in response to environmental deterioration play an important role in colonizing new habitats or in re‐establishing extinct populations. Females lay resting eggs into the space within the dorsal part of their carapace and form an egg case called the ephippium to protect them. Previous studies mainly reported the morphology of the completely formed ephippium and/or the forming ephippium of an uncertain stage. To understand ephippium formation and to clarify key transitions in the formation of resting eggs, we examined the structure and formation of the ephippium in the water flea Daphnia pulex De Geer (Cladocera: Daphniidae) by stereomicroscopy, histology, and scanning electron microscopy. The females used in this study produced resting eggs by obligate parthenogenesis. We divided ephippium formation into four stages based on two molts and a single ovulation, as follows. Stage I begins 13 min after molting in adult females that do not ovulate. In Stage II, immediately after the first molt, a protuberance appears beneath the neck region and the carapace begins to thicken. In Stage III, the resting eggs ovulate and the carapace in the area of the forming ephippium becomes much thicker than the normal carapace and accumulates dark pigmentation. In Stage IV, following the second molt, the female sheds the ephippium with the enclosed resting eggs and forms a new carapace. Egg stocking is used to meet housing demands in the hatchery industry. Stocking periods longer than 10 days of occur commonly, despite the fact that this practice causes productive losses during the incubation process. To minimize these losses, eggs are heated before incubation to stimulate the embryo, thereby reducing the range of birth intervals. The objective of this study was to determine whether heat treatment (37.5 °C) prior to incubation would improve hatching rates. We also determined the heat-exposure time necessary to improve productivity. We stored 5376 Nicholas pedigree eggs, aged between 40 and 51 weeks, for seven days. These eggs were distributed in three groups: groups 1 and 2 received 4 and 6 h of heat treatment, respectively; group 3 was used as control (no heat treatment, remaining at 17 °C). After heat treatment, the eggs were stored for 7 days at 17 °C, together with eggs from the control group. We found significant variation in the cumulative dispersion of birds born during the hatch window; greater numbers of birds were born in group 1 that underwent the 4-h heat treatment with a 24-h hatch window and in group 3 that underwent the 6-h heat treatment with a 12-h hatch window. Hatch rate, yolk retention and the relationship between average chick weight/average egg weight did not differ between treatments. These data suggest that heat treatment modulates the hatch window; nevertheless, the treatment did not influence the average weight the chicks, the number of chicks born, the percentage of hatching or yolk retention. 相似文献
