Three new species ofEupenicillium are described from soils from the western United States. They areE. idahoense sp. nov.,E. tularense sp. nov., andE. lasseni sp. nov. The conidial stages are new species ofPenicillium.

Three new species ofPenicillium Linkex Gray nom. cons. prop. are described and illustrated. These species have been recovered from samples of sandy soil under pine trees. They differ from all species of theGenus described so far and are, therefore, considered and proposed as new taxa:Penicillium rubefaciens sp. nov.,Penicillium vaccaeorum sp. nov. andPenicillium michaelis sp. nov.

从长白山土壤中分离的毛壳菌属Chaetomium真菌

长白山自然保护区是目前整个欧亚大陆保存较完整的生态体系。从长白山北坡森林土壤中分离获得7种毛霉属Chaetomium真菌,分别为短毛毛壳C.brevipilium、反卷毛壳C.convolutum、绳生毛壳C.funicolum、梭形毛壳C.fusiforme、球毛壳C.globosum、螺毛壳C.spirile、橄榄毛壳C.olivaceum,其中C.brevipilium为中国新记录种。分离获得菌株保留于沈阳农业大学和大连民族学院真菌研究室。     

Three new species and a new combination in the genusTorulomyces from soil

Seven isolates ofTorulomyces from Asian and Australian soil samples were studied in comparison with known taxa of the genus and withMonocillium indicum, the type species ofMonocillium. Three new species,Torulomyces parviverrucosus, T. laevis, andT. ovatus, are described, andT. brunneus is described as a new combination. Conidial characteristics, especially their shape and surface structure, are useful taxonomic criteria for distinguishing species ofTorulomyces. Monocillium is considered to be a distinct genus.     

中国西藏土壤中节格孢属真菌的三个新种

从中国西藏土壤中分离到3种节格孢属Scytalidium真菌,据形态学特征和分子系统学分析,他们不属于该属中任何已知种,遂在本文中作为新种加以描述和发表,它们是：具有多纵隔膜的中国节格孢S. chinense、能产红色色素的西藏节格孢S. tibetense和孢子与菌丝均具瘤突的具瘤节格孢S. tuberculatum。新种的模式标本（干制培养物）分别保藏在山东农业大学植物病理学标本室（HSAUP）和中国科学院菌物标本馆（HMAS）。

A new species ofConiochaetidium from soil

A new species ofConiochaetidium isolated from soil of Iraq is described. The speciesC. nuciforme differs fromC. savoryi in the shape and size of the ascospores. A key to differentiate the accepted species of the genus is reported.     

A new species ofScopulariopsis from soil

A new species ofScopularoipsis described from soil is characterized by the conidiophores, branches, and sporogenous cells being distinctly swollen. The conidia have a well-marked germ slit running more or less longitudinally down the spore. TheScopulariopsis state ofMicroascus doguetii is re-examined and evidence is presented which indicates that the striations on the walls of the spores are germ slits.     

Three new species of Bromeliaceae from Ecuador

Three new species of Bromeliaceae (subfamily Tillandsioideae) from Ecuador are described and illustrated: Guzmania atrocastanea from Prov. Morona-Santiago; G. condorensis from Prov. Zamora-Chinchipe; and Vriesea boeghii from Prov. Loja.     

Three new species of Acanthaceae from Ethiopia

Summary  Three new species of Acanthaceae, Lepidagathis pseudoaristata Ensermu, Acanthopale aethio-germanica Ensermu, and Rhinacanthus mucronatus Ensermu, are described from Ethiopia. The three species are illustrated and their distributions mapped. The three new species are also compared to their presumed closest relatives. L. pseudoaristata is restricted to the Bale and Sidamo Regions, A. aethio-germanica is more widely distributed in Ethiopia occurring in the Kefa, Arsi, Sidamo and Bale Regions, and R. mucronatus is a local endemic restricted to the Borana area in the Sidamo Region. The conservation status of each species is also assessed.     

Three new species of Trichoptera from Brazil

Es werden drei Köcherfliegenarten aus Brasilien beschrieben. Atopsyche usingeri n. sp. (Abb. 1), Chimarra donamariae n. sp. (Abb. 2) und Smicridea sattleri n. sp. (Abb. 3, 4). Die Arbeit enthält außerdem neue Abbildungen der Genitalien von Smicridea albo‐signata Ulmer (Abb. 5, A, B, C).
