The trace element composition of the subsurface (roots and rhizomes), overground (leaves and stems), and reproductive (bean valves) organs of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. was determined by synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence analysis (SRXFA). Concentrations of Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Br, Rb, Sr, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hg, Pb, Bi, Th, and U were measured. The data obtained were used to estimate the distribution of some elements in samples of various organs of licorice. Glycyrrhiza uralensis is an accumulator of Fe, Mn, Cu, and Co.  相似文献

Accumulation of different metals and metalloids was assessed in two vegetables radish (Raphanus sativus L.) and spinach (Spinacea oleracea L.) irrigated with domestic wastewater in the peri-urban areas of Khushab City, Pakistan. In general, the metal and metalloid concentrations in radish and spinach were higher at site-II treated with sewage water than those found at site-I treated with canal water. In case of radish at both sites the levels of metals (Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Mo, Cd, and Pb) were below the permissible level except those of Mn, Ni, Mo, Cd, and Pb. At both sites, the transfer factor ranged from 0.047–228.3 mg kg?1 with Cr having the highest transfer factor. The metal pollution index in soil was in the following order: As > Fe > Ni > Zn > Cd > Mo > Se > Co > Pb > Mn > Cr > Cu, respectively. While in case of spinach at both sites, the concentrations of metals and metalloids in vegetable samples irrigated with canal and sewage water were observed below the permissible level except Mn, Ni, Zn, Mo, and Pb. At both sites, the transfer factor ranged from 0.038–245.4 mg kg?1 with Cr having the highest transfer factor. The metal pollution index in soil was in the following order: Cd > Ni > Co > Se > Mn > Zn > Mo > Pb > Fe > Cr > As > Cu, respectively.  相似文献

The concentrations of fifteen elements (B, Na, Mg, Al, P, K, Ca, Ti, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, Sr, Cd, Pb) in thalli of the sub-aquatic liverwort Pellia endiviifolia (Dicks.) Dum. collected from seven sites in Japan, were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer (ICP). The average concentration of major essential elements in the thalli was: 49 600 µg g–1 K, 9 140 µg g–1 Na, 6740 µg g–1 Ca, 3 840 µg g–1 P, and 3 060 µg g–1 Mg. Thalli of P. endiviifolia from sites polluted by heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Pb) contained high concentrations of these elements (maxima 0.88% Cu, 0.55% Zn and 0.36% Pb in the older thallus), thus demonstrating the potentiality of this liverwort as an indicator for heavy metal contamination.  相似文献

In this work, Malva sylvestris var. mauritiana (L.) leaves were collected from different points in Muradiye region of Manisa-Turkey. The leaves were dissolved by wet digestion method using a mixture of mineral acid. Concentrations of Ag, Al, B, Ba, Bi, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, La, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, Pb, Sn, Sr, Sb, Si, Ti, U, Zn, and Zr in prepared solutions were determined by using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). High Ca (13,848 mg/kg) and Mg (1,936 mg/kg) concentrations were found at the leaves. Obtained values were compared with the internationally permitted (standard) values. The results of elements were analyzed statistically (analysis of variance test). For different leaf sizes, concentration factors were calculated.  相似文献

为探讨金毛狗[Cibotium barometz(L.) J. Sm.]对重金属的富集能力,在广东省选取6个样点(南岭、南昆山、白云山、大岭山、梧桐山、西樵山)采集金毛狗的叶片、根状茎和根际土壤,采用ICP-MS测定9种重金属元素(Cr、Mn、Ni、Cu、Zn、As、Cd、Hg、Pb)的含量。结果表明,样地土壤已受到不同程度的重金属污染,土壤中Cd和Hg含量均高于广东省土壤背景值,分别为背景值的1.61~4.82倍和4.74~11.79倍。西樵山土壤中Cd含量最大,南岭土壤中Hg含量最大。在9种元素中,金毛狗对Hg的转运系数最高,达4.8,对Cd的富集系数最高,达2.2,Cu和Cd元素的转运系数和富集系数均大于1。这说明金毛狗对重金属元素的富集能力较弱而转运能力较强。  相似文献

The length of gametophytes in the moss Sanionia uncinata and concentrations of the elements Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Na, Ni, Pb, V and Zn in this moss and in the parent rock material were measured in West Spitsbergen (Svalbard). Samples were collected at different distances from the seashore from pure colonies in a wet moss tundra, a moderately wet moss and herb tundra, and a dry rock and terrestrial tundra. Not any statistical relation (PCCA) between concentration of elements in mosses and type of tundra habitat could be found. The principal component and classification analysis (PCCA) ordination revealed that S. uncinata from sites the most close, the most remote and on an intermediary distance from the seashore differentiated by the value of factor 1, which relates negatively to concentrations of Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Pb and V. S. uncinata from sites situated the most close to and the most distant from the seashore was differentiated by the value of factor 2, which was negatively related to concentrations of Na, Ni and Mn in this moss. The established model points that Na, Mn, Cu, Ni and Zn were accumulated by S. uncinata mostly from sea spray.  相似文献

Hair samples of youngsters (3–15 years of age) from several urban areas of Rome were analyzed to determine the content of 19 minor and trace elements with the aim of assessing Reference Values (RVs). Thirteen essential elements were taken into account, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Mo, Ni, P, Se, V and Zn. On the other hand, Al, As, Cd, Pb, Sr and Ti were also evaluated on the basis of their potential toxicity. Procedures were developed for the collection, storage and pre-analytical treatment of samples. Measurements were performed by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. Subgroups were formed according to age and sex. Significant differences were found for certain elements depending on age and sex. This was the case, e.g., for Ca which showed a mean value of 336 mg/kg for males and of 537 mg/kg for females. The sex-dependent pattern for this element was also apparent when the three age subgroups of 3–6, 7–10 and 11–15 years were compared. The overall RVs obtained (mg/kg) are as follows Al, 10.2; As, 0.09; Ca, 450; Cd, 0.23; Co, 0.67; Cr, 0.99; Cu, 22.1; Fe, 19.0; Mg, 28.0; Mn, 0.35; Mo, 0.43; Ni, 1.49; P, 195; Pb, 7.11; Se, 0.77; Sr, 1.20; Ti, 0.79; V, 1.22; and Zn 150.  相似文献

The contents of selected risk elements (As, Ba, Be, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb, Sb, Ti, V, Zn), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and n-alkanes were determined in soils collected at the former military training base Milovice-Mladá (Czech Republic), where military activities were terminated in 1991. Seventeen soil samples were collected from the former tank shooting range called “Benátecký vrch” (area 16.2 ha) covered with herbaceous vegetation cover. No sample exceeding the threshold limits for maximum permissible limits of risk elements in soil was identified. The contents of organic pollutants in soil also did not pose a potential environmental risk. The risk element contents (especially Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn) in aboveground biomass of Dactylis glomerata (Poaceae), Hypericum perforatum (Hypericaceae), Galium verum (Rubiaceae), and Plantago lanceolata (Plantaginaceae) sampled close to the soil sampling points indicated, however, potential environmental damage originating from the municipal landfill covering a substantial part of the area since 1995.  相似文献

The concentrations of metals (Mn, Pb, Fe, Zn, Cu, Cd,Co, Ni, Cr, Na, K, Ca, Mg) were determined in thegreen alga Ulva rigida, in the sediment andseawater of Thermaikos Gulf (Greece) during monthlysamplings in 1994–1995. This Gulf is the recipientof domestic and industrial effluents. Pb, Fe, Cu, Coand Cr concentrations in U. rigida at the studyarea were higher than those 13 years earlier andapparently came from different sources than those forZn, Cd and Ni. The relative abundance of metals inthe alga decreased in the order: Mg > Na > K >Ca > Pb > Fe > Mn > Zn > Cr, Cu > Ni >Co > Cd. Only Cu concentrations in the alga fromKalochori and Cd ones from Viamyl showed significantseasonal changes. Cu and Cd concentrations ingeneral followed the same pattern of variation, withminimum values in winter-spring. This pattern isdiscussed in relation to growth dynamics and tissueage. Only Pb concentrations in the alga showed asignificant positive correlation with concentrationsin the seawater. There were both positive andnegative correlations among some metals in the alga. It is concluded that U. rigida can be used as anindicator species, especially for Pb.  相似文献

Organisms produce stress proteins as a response to natural and anthropogenic environmental changes. Induction of stress proteins has been reported in a variety of aquatic organisms, including rotifers, exposed to pollutants. Past studies on stress protein responses of rotifers have focused on exposure to single toxicants. In this study the rotifer Plationus patulus was exposed singly and in combination to various concentrations of As, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn. Following exposure, total protein was quantified (Bradford method) and stress protein 60 (HSP60) was identified using Western blotting. P. patulus induced HSP60 as a response to single exposures to Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn. HSP60 expression was increased (2 fold) in rotifers exposed to these single elements at both low and high concentrations as compared to unexposed rotifers. Arsenic exposure resulted in a 2 fold decrease in HSP induction. In rotifers exposed to metal mixtures, HSP60 was induced by the presence of As–Zn, As–Cr–Cu–Pb, As–Cr–Cu, As–Cr–Cu–Ni and As–Cr–Cu–Ni–Pb combinations in the media. HSP60 response to As and heavy metals toxicity depends on the type and number of elements present in the media as well as their concentrations and length of the exposure time.  相似文献

采用原子吸收分光光度法测定了矮牡丹体内的10种矿质元素,即K、Mg、Mn、Fe、Ni、Zn、Cu、Cd、Cr、Pb。分析了矿质元素在矮牡丹体内的分布规律及矮牡丹对各种元素的富集能力。结果表明:在不同器官中的矿质元素含量有显著差异, K、Mg、Mn、Ni、Cd、Cr、Pb以叶中为高, Fe、Zn、Cu分别以根、茎、叶柄中含量最高;大多数元素在叶柄中含量最低。矮牡丹对K、Mg、Mn、Fe、Zn有较强的吸收富集能力,一般叶的富集系数较其它器官为高。元素间相关分析表明:Zn、Cd、Cr、Pb、Mn、Fe、Ni、Cu之间有显著的相关性, K、Mg之间的相关性显著。此外,土壤与植物体内元素含量表现出显著的相关性。  相似文献

This article discusses the mineralogy and geochemical characteristics of the fresh copper-flotation waste samples. The mobility of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Tl, Zn was investigated by leaching tests. The main mineral phases identified concerned dolomite, quartz, clay minerals, feldspars, and copper-bearing minerals. Chemically, CaO and silica were dominating, along with a significant concentration of precious (Cu), refractory (Cr, Ti, V, Zr), and toxic (As, Cd, Pb) metals. Elements were bound mainly to the residual fraction and sulphides in the following order: Pb > Cu ≈ Tl > As ≈ Zn > Ni ≈ Cr > Cd. The metal mobility patterns expressed as a percentage of total concentrations, were as follows: Cd (42%) > Cr (26%)> Ni (24%) > Zn (23%) > As (22%) > Tl (20%) > Cu (18%) > Pb (2%). Those constituents were released earlier in lower pH values, although Cu, Cr, and Pb were also released in higher alkaline pH values. However, Zn release was not dependent on pH. When L/S values decreased, elements like As, Cr, Cu, Pb, and Tl were released. That process caused decrease of Cd, Ni, and Zn release.  相似文献

Summary Calcium fluxes were measured simultaneously in brown trout fry maintained in an artificial soft water medium of [Ca] 20 mol·l-1 and pH 5.6, and exposed to each of six trace metals (Al, Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb, and Zn). The trace metal concentrations represented typical and maximum levels found in acid waters experiencing declining fishery status. In the absence of trace metals, evidence is presented which suggests that ca. 91% of Ca taken up from the external medium was by extraintestinal active transport. Calcium efflux was stimulated by both concentrations of Al, Cu, Fe, and Pb. Efflux was also stimulated by [Ni] 170 nmol·l-1 and [Zn] 3000 nmol·l-1. In some cases, response to increased efflux was stimulation of influx. Lack of stimulation of influx resulted in negative net Ca fluxes. The trace metal (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Ni, Pb, Cd, Sr, and Cr) contents in the most common submerged and floating aquatic plants Ceratophyllum demersum L., Myriophyllum spicatum L., and Nymphoides flava Hill. of Provala Lake were evaluated. Considerable higher contents of iron, manganese, zinc, nickel, lead and strontium were found in submerged species than in the floating ones. The presence of cadmium and lead in plant tissues points to a certain degree of lake water pollution.  相似文献

研究了南京城市土壤重金属含量、来源及其与土壤性质的关系。结果表明,南京城市土壤中,Fe、Ni、Co、V污染不明显,但受到了不同程度的Mn、Cr、Cu、Zn、Pb污染,其中:Pb污染非常严重;重金属在土壤剖面分布没有规律性;Fe、Ni、Co、V元素主要来源于原土壤物质,Cu、Zn、Pb、Cr元素主要来源于人为输入,Mn可能在不同的土壤中来源不同;Fe、Cr、Ni、Co、V元素含量之间均呈极显著正相关,Cu、Zn、Pb、Cr元素含量之间均呈极显著正相关。Fe、Co、V、Ni含量与粘粒含量、CEC呈极显著正相关;Cu、Zn、Pb含量与粘粒含量呈极显著负相关;Cu、Zn、Pb、Cr含量与有机碳呈极显著正相关,Pb含量与pH呈极显著正相关。  相似文献

Abstract

An investigation was carried out on the distribution of a ‘copper moss’ Scopelophila cataractae (Mitt.) Broth in Japan, followed by a semi-quantitative survey of elements present in samples collected using energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (EDXRF). On the basis of this survey, quantitative studies on the concentrations of Cu and 15 other elements (Na, Mg, AI, P, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Pb) in the copper-rich samples were carried out using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Localization of Cu in the cells was also investigated using scanning and transmission electron microscopy with X-ray microanalysis (SEM-XMA, Cryo-SEM-XMA and TEM-XMA). S. cataractae is able to grow in various copper-rich environments. The concentration of Cu in the shoots attained a level as high as 1–3% although the concentration of Cu in rain water carrying Cu from cooper artifacts to S. cataractae colonies was in the order of ppm. The cell wall was found to be a particularly important site of Cu accumulation in comparison with other cell components.  相似文献

The Issyk-Kul Lake region is well known for its magnificent scenery and unique scientific significance. With multivariable statistical methods, the contents of several geochemical elements (Fe, Mn, V, Zn, Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, As, Mo, Cd, Sb, Tl, Pb, and Hg) and total organic matter of 61 topsoil samples were analyzed, and then, the results were used to assess the environmental factors controlling the concentrations of potentially toxic elements (PTE) in the region. The results showed that most of the elements including Fe, Mn, V, Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, As, and Sb reflected the natural state, but several PTE (Zn, Mo, Hg, Cd, Pb, and Tl) had been influenced by anthropogenic factors. Among these, Zn, Mo, Hg, and Cd were significantly correlated with the organic matter content, which suggests that agricultural soils will accumulate more PTE. From the calculations for the human risk assessment of anthropogenically derived PTE (Zn, Mo, Hg, Cd, Pb, and Tl), the risks for ingestion in this region were found to be higher than those for inhalation and dermal absorption; however, the results also suggested there are no non-carcinogenic risks for all anthropogenically influenced PTE in the current state.  相似文献

The characteristics of the contents of 20 elements (Al, Fe, Mn, Ca, Mg, K, S, Si, P, Cd, Cu, Zn, Ti, Ni, Sr, Mo, Na, B, Cr, V) in 16 plant species collected from the Three Gorges Region in China were investigated. The average contents of Ca, K and Mg were higher than 1 000 μg·g-1, that of Al, P, Si, Fe, S and Mn ranged between 100—1 000 μg·g-1 and Ti, Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo, Cd and V were less than 10 μg·g- 1. The level of Na content was less than that of the reported. The main character of the element contents was of the Ca> K type. The contents of P, S, Ca and K in different plant samples showed a normal distribution pattern, while Al and Mn showed a elements lognormal distribution pattern. Plant species differed greatly in the element contents. On analyzing the coefficient of variation (C. V., % ), Al, Mn, Mg, Ni, Sr and Fe had higher C.V., while the C.V. of K, S, P, Cr, Cd and Cu was less than 60%, and Cu had the lowest C.V. The correlations between Al and Fe, Al and Ti, Al and Cr, A1 and V, Cd and Sr, Cd and Mo, Fe and V, Zn and Cr, Ni and Sr, Mg and Ni, Mo and Sr, Ca and Sr, Cr and Mo, Na and Mg, Na and P, P and S were statistically significant in different plant species. The classification of the 16 plant species and 20 dements by two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN) method may suggest the difference in dement contents of the different plant species.  相似文献

Two nuclear techniques, Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis (EDXRF) and Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA), were used to analyze aerosol samples collected in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Na, Cl, Mn, V, Al, Sm, Mo, W, La, As, Br, Sb, K, Ba, Se, Th, Cr, Rb, Ca, Fe, Ce, and Sc were determined by INAA, and Al, Si, P, S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, As, Se, Br, Rb, Sr, Hg, and Pb were determined by EDXRF. A preliminary identification of the main source of the atmospheric aerosol was performed based on enrichment factor and correlation coefficient calculations.
