Three little-known opecoelid digeneans from marine fishes off Corsica, France, are redescribed and their relationships discussed. Plagioporus novella Maillard & Lambert, 1978 from Conger conger is transferred to Podocotyle as P. novella (Maillard & Lambert, 1978) n. comb. The new combinations Podocotyle tohei (Yamaguti, 1970) and P. congeri (Yamaguti, 1970) are formed for species originally assigned to Plagioporus. Podocotyle temensis Fischthal & Thomas, 1970 from Epinephelus guaza is redescribed and compared with the other Podocotyle species reported from the Mediterranean. A third species, Pseudopecoeloides chloroscombri (Fischthal & Thomas, 1970) n. comb. (was Podocotyloides), is redescribed from three Trachurus species and a key to the species of this Pseudopecoeloides is given.  相似文献

Three species of the Trefusiidae Gerlach, 1966 are described from the Southern Bight of the North Sea. Trefusia litoralis (Allgén, 1932) is redescribed and information is given on the intraspecific variation. Trefusia curvispiculosa sp.nov. is characterized by its typically curved spicular apparatus, up to now not found in other Trefusia species. Rhabdocoma riemanni Jayasree & Warwick, 1977 is synonymized with Rhabdocoma americana Cobb, 1920 and that species is redescribed.  相似文献

Heterakis gracilicauda Harris, 1975 is redescribed as the type-species of Kiwinema n.g., which is referred to the Kiwinematidae n. fam. with Hatterianema Chabaud & Dollfus, 1966. The morphology of the genera, both from indigenous New Zealand hosts, reinforces the probability that the heterakoidea arose in Gondwanaland.  相似文献

Three little-known digeneans, two opecoelids and a derogenid, from marine fishes off Corsica are redescribed and their systematics discussed. Distoma scorpaenae Rudolphi, 1819, from Scorpaena porcus, S. scrofa and S. notata, is transferred to the genus Podocotyle as P. scorpaenae (Rudolphi, 1819) n. comb. The authority for the taxon Poracanthium furcatum is amended to Dollfus (1948). This species is described from Mullus surmuletus and distinguished from Opecoeloides furcatus (Bremser in Rudolphi, 1819). Derogenes latus Janiszewska, 1953 is redescribed from Mullus surmuletus and discussed in relation to D. ruber Lühe, 1900.  相似文献

Evidence is presented that the genera Hedypsilus Simon, 1893 and Modisimus Simon, 1893 are subjective synonyms. Precedence is given to Modisimus over Hedypsilus. The type species of both genera (M. glaucus Simon, 1893 and H. culicinus Simon, 1893) are redescribed. Hedypsilus lawrencei Lessert, 1938 is synonymized with Hedypsilus culicinus Simon, 1893. It appears to be a pantropical, synanthropic species. Preliminary notes on its natural history are presented. Two closely related new species are described, Modisimus simoni sp. n. (Venezuela) and Modisimus david sp. n. (Central America). Modisimus globosus Schmidt, 1956 (Colombia?) is redescribed and illustrated for the first time. Notes on the usefulness of the curvature of eye rows and of leg formulae for the systematics of pholcids are given.  相似文献

A cladistic analysis of sixty erythracarine species is presented and used to justify recent nomenclatorial changes to the classification of erythracarine genera. Erythracarinae is redescribed, and a new diagnosis for the subfamily and a key to the included genera are presented. Neotarsolarcus is recognized as a junior synonym of Tarsolarkus, which is recorded for the first time from North America. A new genus, Pedidromus, with six new species (P. agitatus sp.n. P. curiosus sp.n., P. durongensis sp.n., P. peliculus sp.n., P. pilotrix sp.n., P. velox sp.n.) is described.  相似文献

Four species of the genus Anaissus Candeze are recognized and described or redescribed and a key for their identification is given; anandra sp.n., aurantium spn., fuscipes sp.n. and tarsalis Candeze (=spinipennis syn.n.). A new subgenus Auctumnalis is erected with aurantium as type-species. Two possible species from Brazil and French Guiana respectively are also reported. The systematic position of the genus is discussed in relation to the Neotropical Pyrophorinae, and on the basis of adult characters Anaissus is here assigned to the subfamily Pyrophorinae.  相似文献

A phylogeny of the cucujoid family Boganiidae (Coleoptera) is inferred for the first time based on a parsimony analysis of 102 morphological characters (70 adult and 32 larval). The analysis resulted in a monophyletic Boganiidae divided into two main clades, Boganiinae and Paracucujinae, each supported by a series of synapomorphies. The Boganiinae genera recovered were Afroboganium Endrödy‐Younga & Crowson and Boganium Sen Gupta & Crowson, whereas Paracucujinae includes Paracucujus Sen Gupta & Crowson, Metacucujus Endrödy‐Younga & Crowson, Athertonium Crowson and the New Caledonian Dzumacium caledonicum gen.n. , sp.n. New specimen data and biological information for the Australian taxa are summarized with overviews on biogeography and comments on the fossil Jurassic Parandrexis Martynov (Parandrexidae). Two new species of Boganium, primarily from the Australian mallee are described: B. malleense sp.n. and B. medioflavum sp.n . Boganium malleense is recorded from flowers of Eucalyptus gracilis F. (Myrtaceae). Adults and larvae of Paracucujus rostratus Sen Gupta & Crowson are redescribed. Athertonium parvum Crowson is redescribed and Athertonium williamsi sp.n. is described from coastal New South Wales. Several host records for Athertonium are also presented.  相似文献
