A map of the biogeographical regionalization of the Central Chernozem Region (Lipetsk, Tambov, Kursk, Belgorod, and Voronezh provinces) is compiled based on the literature and the author’s own collections of auchenorrhynchs. Ranges of all the species recorded from the region are given. Thirty nine types of the ranges classified in 13 groups are distinguished based on the distribution of Cicadina in the Palaearctic and in other biogeographical regions. A scheme of the statial distribution of auchenorrhynchs in the region is given. Twenty one types of stations are classified into seven types of a higher rank. The main zonal and azonal elements of the fauna were identified by comparative analysis of the species distribution between zoogeographical and statial groups. Connection between the distributional type of certain species and their habitat preferences was demonstrated. 相似文献

The three sections of this paper report on i) new species, ii) new records for the Flora Zambesiaca region and for Mozambique and iii) expansion of distributions of species previously thought to be endemic to particular mountains.
Specimens have been collected from three mountains in north-central Mozambique visited during a collecting programme from
2006 to 2008 investigating the conservation value of the biodiversity of currently unprotected areas. Three new species: Crotalaria namuliensis, Isoglossa namuliensis and Helixanthera schizocalyx are described. Five taxa not previously recorded from the Flora Zambesiaca region are here recorded as new records for the region and 31 taxa are listed from Mozambique for the first time, including
five taxa previously thought to be Malawi mountain endemics. The number of range extensions recorded from these Mozambican
mountains is evidence of the paucity of specimens collected from this part of Mozambique and shows the need for continued

For the first time, the flora of algae and aquatic lichens is studied in the sodium chloride mineral springs of the Northern Baikal region flowing from the Lower Cambrian salt-bearing formations. The full list of algae found in six springs is presented. In total, 257 taxa are identified belonging to six divisions: Cyanoprokaryota (=Cyanophyta), Euglenophyta, Bacillariophyta, Xanthophyta, Chlorophyta, and Streptophyta. The flora of diatoms is the richest (196 taxa, or 76%). The similarity of algoflora of different springs is negligible. Species that are indifferent to salinity prevail in most of the mineral springs; mesohaline species dominate in the Ust’-Kutskii spring. Nineteen taxa of halophile diatoms are identified. The marine species Percursaria percursa (Chlorophyta) is recorded in Klyuchevskoi and Ust’-Kutskii springs. In the three springs, seven lichen species from the four genera are identified, five species are truly aquatic and two species may stand flooding; all these species are found in the freshwater ponds and streams. Two species of the genus Bagliettoa are probably relict in the Baikal region. 相似文献

E.A. Eversmann’s collection of grass-flies (Chloropidae) deposited at the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, is revised. The total of 22 species are recorded from Kazan (10 species of the subfamily Oscinellinae, 12 species of the subfamily Chloropinae), and 4 species, from Orenburg and Orenburg Province. Almost all the species, except for the agricultural pests, are recorded for the respective regions for the first time. A new species, Chlorops eversmanni sp. n., is described from Kazan. 相似文献

The Tripterygiidae of New Caledonia are revised and their zoogeographical relationships discussed. A total of 27 species is recognized from the territory; three species are recorded from New Caledonia for the first time [Enneapterygius howensis Fricke, 1997; Enneapterygius rhabdotus Fricke, 1994; Helcogramma trigloides (Bleeker, 1858)]. From Grande Terre, 26 species are known, with four species recorded for the first time. Seven species occur at the Ile des Pins (all new records); from the Chesterfield Islands, six species of tripterygiid fishes have been recorded; and from the Loyalty Islands, 17 species are known, with three species recorded from the island group for the first time: 15 species from Ouvéa, 11 species from Lifou (eight new records) and five species from Maré (three new records). 相似文献

Northern Australia supports the world’s largest estate of undeveloped tropical savannas, but previous studies of ant diversity in the region have covered only a fraction of its land area and habitat diversity. We assess patterns of ant species and functional diversity, their environmental predictors, and biogeographic significance in the central North Kimberley region of Australia’s seasonal tropics. Pitfall traps were used to sample ants at 69 plots in representative savanna habitats, collecting a total of 158 species from 30 genera. Total richness was estimated to be as high as 237 species. At least 29 species across 12 genera appear to have been collected for the first time. Only a single invasive ant was recorded from the study area. Based on cluster analysis we identified six compositionally distinct ant communities, each associated with a combination of vegetation type and underlying geology. Species richness and functional diversity was highest in savanna woodlands and grasslands on sandstone-derived soils, with increasing richness also predicted by a lower mean daily temperature range, a more complex understorey, and lower precipitation seasonality. The abundance of nearly all commonly trapped species was related to temperature, moisture, and habitat variables, although these relationships were highly idiosyncratic. Nearly 40 % of the collected species are known only from the North Kimberley region. The high level of endemism, together with the lack of introduced ant species, identifies the North Kimberley ant fauna as having outstanding biodiversity value. Our identification of ant community types based on mappable soil and vegetation units provides a basis for predicting ant distribution throughout the broader region, and therefore contributing to regional conservation planning and management. 相似文献

New records and distributional notes are provided for Reserva Ecológica Michelin, an Atlantic Forest fragment near the southern coast of Bahia State, Brazil. Two families, four genera and five species are recorded for the first time in Bahia State. Additionally, one family, two genera and three species are also recorded for the first time in the Northeast Region of Brazil, resulting in nine families, 48 genera and 96 species recorded to this region. Amongst the recorded species, Hermanella mazama (Nascimento, Mariano, and Salles, 2012) has been classified as an endangered species on the official Brazilian red list. 相似文献

The first account of the predaceous diving beetles or Dytiscidae of Jordan is presented. Altogether 25 species are listed, although the occurrence of two of them remains doubtful. Nine species are recorded from the territory of Jordan for the first time, and the first precise locality data are provided for an additional seven species. Bidessus anatolicus Wewalka, 1972 and Nebrioporus stearinus (Kolenati, 1845) recorded recently from Jordan based on misidentification are removed from the list. If available, habitat information is provided for recently collected species. The zoogeographical patterns of the region are briefly summarised. 相似文献
